I also enjoyed met SB Ranger before patch. Now it just feels like a longbow, it’s not fun anymore. I am specced as a condition damager (this whole weapon is based on that) now the damage output has shrunk big time.
I cannot even put more bleed then 6-8 stacks, before i could get it up to 16 with QZ.
Also that QZ skill is bugged, if you have selected a target it only shoots 3 arrows real fast, then the rest in slow motion.
Jon, you said you were looking in to this, is it so hard to give us all an update? Come on, you can do better!

Also on that same thread someone made a suggestion to set your sound quality and latency sliders in the middle, so you don’t get that often the bug sound.
I agree with OP.
Back in the beta, amongst myself made a suggestion to Anet to use the same loot distribution in GW1 after you completed a mission, a screen popped up with “Unclaimed loot” and you could take all the loot from there.
Please add this in WvW aswell!

Yesterday I, again, got this bug when running around with around 10 people on the open field. There was no battle going on, just running running and * the siren sound…. I will try out the suggestions from Makovorn and Zodanemir.

Yesterday I updated my ticket to say that I did not receive the replacement items.
Today I got a response telling me the issue is resolved and I received my items.
This is the second time I have been told my issue is resolved when it isn’t.Do they even read the support tickets?
I get more information and responses via the forums.I have NOT received any items.

Tory, I hear your call! I have the exact identical mail responses (and also got duplicate today wich i’m very dissatisfied in their Customer Service!
I find it obnoxious that in my response to “we have mailed you the items on 9/21..” after wich I wrote that i have not recieved the items if they can look into it and that i recieve today the exact copy/paste message.
I demand a honest reaction from them. Waiting since 9/5 and then getting these kinds of responses. I even followed up a suggestion that i close the “old” ticket and to create a new ticket, but then getting a response on the old ticket.
I hope that CS can help us out in this issue.
The ticketnumber on wich this copy/paste mails were sent is: 120905-004239 status: “Updated”.

@Orci Thanks! my pet was in the way when indoor now i can put him aside I do hope, like others have stated, that when you stow them away, they stay away.
How exactly do you stow your pet away? I haven’t figured that out yet.

Received 2 responses from the Support Team, first on 25/08/2012 04:19 PM and the second on 29/08/2012 03:13 AM . Total silence since then, ticket was auto-closed on 10th Sept., followed by an email asking me to confirm if I still needed help. I clicked the link in the email and did indeed confirm I still needed help.
Still being deafened by the silence from the Guild Wars Support Team. After 21 days I’ve pretty much run out of patience!
I posted the above on the 15th Sept., now it’s the 17th Sept and still zero response! Without a doubt this is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced!
Third time posting in this thread! I get a very strong feeling that I’m just being ignored! It’s now 24 days since I submitted my ticket and 20 days since my ticket received a response from anyone at ArenaNet!

That was because my ticket was auto-closed and I subsequently received an email asking if I still needed help with my issue! Despite clicking the link in the email and confirming that I still need help, my ticket hasn’t received any further response from the Support Team!
Grizzly, I totally understand your frustration, and again, I apologize. I added this to my review list on Sunday, and I believe that two or three agents are helping me with that list today, so I do expect to hear tonight (or tomorrow at the latest). Very sorry for the delay in answering this and a few others extremely old tickets I see in the recent posts from players who have been extremely patient (for which we are extremely grateful!)

Honestly? We’re still trying to figure that out. There are changes that may be made so that this doesn’t happen to people in the future. I believe there will be one distribution, but the question is whether to roll that out before the design change is in place, or wait and do the final distribution after the situation is fully resolved. I’m sorry I don’t know more, but it’s actively under discussion!
I’ve just found out that another batch of CE/DDE Item distributions took place on Friday 21st, yet I wasn’t included despite your post from last Tuesday (7 days ago) telling me that my ticket was “In queue, awaiting distribution”! Care to explain just what is going on here?

Hello, I recieved yesterday an e-mail that my DDE/CE items were distributed also last Friday, but I never recieved the items. Am I still on the to-do list for redistribution?
Also I closed that ticket per request of a colleque of you. But the old ticket got answered and new one not. I will post both tickets. I’m a bit a loss now.

This is the tutorial, the first time you enter the game world when you created a new character. For the humans this will be to defeat the giant earth hands and helping the people for the centaur attack.
Once you completed this tutorial, you will be teleported to Queensdale. So it only is for the tutorial area and NOT for Queensdale.

When I am in a siege equipment, be it an Arrow Cart, Balista or a Canon or any other siege equipment the following happens. Let’s take the Arrow Cart as an example from now on:
1. You hear the arrows flying down (normal sounds);
2. All the sound around you are dampened;
3. (optional) You hear someone’s boots very loudly;
4. All sounds stops at a sudden;
5. You hear the sound (going from left-to-right) a kind of slow whoop signal.
This sound is unstopble. It will overrule all windows sounds when alt-tabbing. I have to shut down GW2 to let this sound stop.
In the above steps, it can occur within the first minute when you are manning siege equipment, or up to 5 minutes non-stop.
This bug can be reproduced succesfully.

[Client Freeze] when changing chat channel in WvWvW.

The client freezes when you are in WvW and you want to change chat channel from /p to /s. As soon as you type /s the game freezes immediatly. This means everything, from sound to graphics to my mouse pointer (in-game).
I have to press serveral times on CTRL-ALT-DEL to get a response from windows.
This game freeze can also occur when you CTRL-left click an item in your inventory to link in the chat (also in WvW).
Multiple friends of mine experienced (and succesfully reproduced) this bug.

There are some awesome suggestions here, and i agree with them. Especially from Viking and Proeliator. It would give much incentive to come back and do various tasks again. A limit would seem appropriate, though if you are willing to spend the time to complete them, I see no harm for being rewarded for.
Perhaps once a day a zone all the hearts will be repeatable? Just like how they did the Zaishen quest in GW1.
There is no harm in not liking them, but it would give the existing content to be done again.

Have you run across various hearth quests and enjoying them so much that the hearth was filled up, and you couldn’t do some parts of it again?
I would love to see that the heart quests become repeatable in some way. Like dailies or weeklies. And even given some coin as a reward for comming back to the NPC’s in need.
What do you think? Would you like to see the hearth quest become repeatable?
Spicy, isn’t it possible you can learn from defeating? Believe me, I have died lots of times, but I learned valuable lessons each time I lose or even when I win.
Perhaps trying a different build or change your tactics?
@Tyro: I completly agree, a penalty is needed when people leave if they are losing or whatever.

And btw the whole post wasn’t about, “Hey ANet tell me how to exploit.” It was because none of the changes were listed and as a few other threads have stated there were “stealth” hotfixes.
That is exactly what this is going on about. In the other thread, wich shall not be named, it was not listed because they do not publish or discuss exploits and how they fixed it. Because if they state how they fixed it (or what caused the bug/exploit), it would be totally counter productive.

We should have a discussion about where you want dungeons to be and there should be a negotiation about what we want dungeons to be, but we can’t have that conversation and we won’t have that conversation if you are going to accuse every player getting any kind of consistent reward from your dungeons an exploiter and then shutting the discussion down.
I would have left the thread open had I seen any merit to the discussion that it started, ultimately I should have made it clearer from the get go.
As you well know by now we do not allow discussion of exploits on these forums for good reason (see this blog post Guild Wars 2 Economy) as discussion of them ends up advertising them to a larger chunk of the playerbase. We don’t want this as we would prefer never to have to ban players (see the end of that blog post) to that extent again.
You will find that there are exploits that we don’t talk about, we won’t advertise through patch notes that they have been fixed in most cases.
By all means discuss the time / reward side of running explorable dungeons and how the changes applied last night may have affected your game experience!
Well Andry, there you go.
Please do not speak for the “whole” community. GW2 is their game. They can do whatever they want to do with it. I certainly do not hope that they go in negotiation with other players whom are speaking “on behalf of the community.”
Just give your own experience about the dungeon run.
When you do not agree with their descision either do something different in-game or do something else out-of-game. You can always come back later on.

They wont beat it, they are already lacking content for the powerplayers, there are no minigames worth playing no nothing, jumping puzzles are a joke, no real reward once you’ve completed one etc…
Subscription based MMOs are the way to go, just my opinion

When i logged in to the forums it worked using IE9.

It’s better to report gold sellers as a Scammer because that’s what they do.
The issue is being worked on at ArenaNet, look for the thread that the Billing systems are offline for a couple of hours. To provide customers to delete their saved cards on the system.

Hacked accounts do have top priority inside ANet to let customers back in. Be sure to provide all the information in your ticket, and head to the Unresolved/hacked account in the Accounts forum. There you would surely get information from someone at ANet.

Hi Gaile,
I sent a ticket in last Wednesday and the status is still unresolved. Can you please look in for me? It’s about my mistake deleting DDE items the minipet and the tome of influence on another character at headstart to reserve names. I know stupid. But if you could look into this, or atleast that a representative is updating my ticket that would mean very much for me.
Looking back at these 10 pages you (as in yourself and all of ANet) are doing a good job to help customers in need. Never ever in previous MMO i saw so many red posts from the CS/Dev’s. My I take my ringmasters hat off for you all

A quick question about the game editions.
- With no in-game difference between the Digital Deluxe and Collector’s Edition rewards, are they tracked differently? If I stuck with my current DD account after buying the CE, would I be missing out on any potential rewards now or in the future that distinguish between the two editions in game?
The only benefits are the ones comming out of the box. The statue, making of, etc. As for in the future, perhaps they will sell new CE editions when new expansions are brought out.
- If I were to buy the CE and sell the game code to someone else (essentially as a DD code), would I a) be breaking any ToS or b) giving them a “better” account than a regular DD code would?
I myself would see no problem in that. If you imagine you give it as a gift, and you bought your CE legitmatly through the offical retail sellers at buy.guildwars2.com. But as you yourself stated reading the EULA and/or TOS should be an answer somewhere.
- Here’s the longshot – would it be possible to give ArenaNet the new account code from the CE, have them merge it with my account in some way (so that it isn’t usable any longer) and receive some kind of refund, so that essentially only 1 account is created and paid for, but I’m left with the Collector’s Edition (physical items and all)?
EDIT*: You should create a ticket at support.guildwars2.com and ask if that is possible.
It’s a shame that the one new MMO I’ve enjoyed in recent years came after buying so many “wasted” Collector’s Editions for games that didn’t hold my interest.
Given the option to go from a Standard to a Digital Deluxe edition, it’d be a shame if I’ve got no options when it comes to a Collector’s Edition (which I could still buy).

The error code Serial Code Overlap has everything to do because your pre-purchase code had already the CE tag on it.
When you buy a new DDE or CE the benefits are the same with your pre-purchase CE. In that it already gives you the goodies. That is what this error code is saying.
You should ask to support to disable your first serial code, so you can register the second CE for yourself.
I once got this issue going from CE to DDE, that’s why i know Hope they can help you quickly so you can enjoy the game.
