Eh I just had another day of my daily Laurel Not being given to me (Or the coin/Jug of karma and such)
IS there going to be compensation to thouse of us who have been bugged or at the very least is it going to be Fixed soon? I dont feel like attempting to do any Dailys right now due to this bug. Or even realy bothering to play considering my Dailys might be completed and it just bug me out again XD
i have the same problem right now I have more then 5 dailys completed stating 5/5 done and im not getting a reward at all.
1) PvE Solo? Warrior WvW / PvP? Rouge
2) a Class played by a noob … or the Engineer only 3 weapon set ups just about evey single Engie past level 30 is a turret duel pistol build? Buff please
3) WvW BIG F-IN TIME … but all could use upgrades)
4) Before the newest patch? 8 Sence then? Its pretty anti social and dead to attempt to do certain quests and such, The rich just got richer and poor got Poorer … 5 right now

6) Dungeons / Till people stop raging becouse you 2 poor without sigils or such … bleh they will yell at you a ton … I use to want to do WvW Alot but aparently asking what the kitten train of death was (Anoter name for Karma Train) And getting yelled out and harassed … I just gave up on WvW and never even want to do it.

PvE? 9 over-all Depends on the zone Some can fall to nothingness and some can be EPIC …

But thanks for making some events even less Social then it was before.
The point I was trying to make is that skill points have a measurable value in creating items which are cool to use on their own merits, or have value in excess of their cost in raw materials if sold. Hence: Skill points = Money. So, if fractal relics are taking up bank space…. why not convert them to skill points, which can then be used for other ventures?
And the point the OP was trying to make (At least when i read it) IS that EVEY other dungeon gives rewards that have meaning / something you can spend it on without any other means to get said items except by doing said dungion or such
I Could spend gold to get say runes of the noble or do CM and spend the shards on a pretty good MF set of Runes or armor or Weapons
Fract dosnt have that at all.
Your stating get the skill point boost and force yourself to go and combine it with other crafting materiol in order to do ANYTHING at all with the fractol loot?

Extra Skill points why when eveything you have tends to be CLOSE to max out easyly by the time you hit levle 80? (SO Many skill quests and such out there and about without even getting a tenth of them you can get so much skill points)
Mystic Forge Items requires other things besides just basic Skill points.
Personaly I have to agree why are Fractiol Shards pretty pointless?
There are some problems with GW2 I’ll admit
1) WvW (ZERG RUSH Pretty much along with the horrible social yelling experiance it boils down to automaticly being called a troll and being harassed when you ask questions [tooked me a few minutes to relise that when ppl where saying death kitten train they mean karma train … and i still dunno what exactly or how the karma train works but w.e])
2) Some Dungeon End Content Like say CM Path 2 or Fract and such.
3) Solo Capibilitys Bleh?
even if you got to hire mercs relitivly cheaply i would be happy to do Solo stuff all on my own
but i still enjoy the game over-all so i still play it. But it would be nice for this game to improve or i can see it loseing customers and kill it for new people who want to buy the game and play it.

IF you say play 6+ Hours a day on this game at the very least im sure you dont have much problems getting gold and are happy about it
Casual like myself maybe say 20 hours a week total? Like 4 Hours 5 days a week or such? (Insteed of 42 Hours for 6+ Hours a day players with6hours mim) Then i find myself having to pay for gems evey so offten. And in which case if you ask me the Farming/loot system needs to be increased
To me I Likw GW2 becouse its more of a Casual type of a Game with WvW More for thouse who spend godly amount of hours at said game (Not going to touch WvW besides this statement)

Er There are Skill quests and other things out there that do give you a bonus say +10 or 20 or 50 skill points or more XD
but as to the point of … PvE … End game is all about Dungeons? Eh I Guess to some but there are alot of Events (Shadow Behemoth is popular for example in Queensdale or Maw in other areas)
So to me evey single WvW Person who claims that all there is to PvE is A Certain Dungeon to me … dosnt get PvE What So ever
At least PvE Wont rage at you if you dislike a Event or a certain aspect of PvE While WvW Players will rage at you for getting angry for being kitten on your way to the group, and then rage at you for not getting to the commander/group …
good jorb <3No, they’ll rage at you and kick you from the group for not being a Mesmer, Warrior, or Guardian. These events are also scripted and exactly the same every single time.
Again, the hostilities isn’t WvW, It’s the people you’re playing with. I think the only time I’ve ever been yelled at was for taking supply from a keep that had just started upgrades, but I was new and someone eventually explained it to me.
If you just quit every time someone yells at you, you really won’t get too far.

I don’t think I’ve ever yelled at anyone in WvW before.
Never seen a group rage at you and kick you out … inless its like Fractols 20+ Or something like that
I Was talking about PvE Over-all Dungeons (I have seen pure Mesmer/Warrior/Necromancer w.e groups NAME it and eveyone lolz and trys it out, SAVE for Fractols)
But as to Events or dungeons being the same Evey single time … what about WvW? Isnt it just 20vs20 most of the darn time? Or we counting differance as in different People evolved in the battle or such? (Same with PvE) To me this is based on view point.
And I Dont quit WvW Just becouse someone yells at you or such I Mearly Ask questions Such as Why did we just insta lose said Keep? or Tower?

Granted alot of WvW Experiance can change from server to server, The higher Tier server your in however the more likly your going to experiance nothing but Zerg vs Zerg

Because the server I play on has a public mumble, and militia groups that give guild groups a run for their money. Plus it’s fun.
To the fellow above me. WvW isn’t anti social. Your server community is. Your English coupled with what looks like Thin skin doesn’t help either.
There’s bound to be a guild or something willing to take you in, and teach you. You’ll appreciate it a lot more if you know what you’re doing.

there are problems with WvWvW
1) Most (Not all the battles) Are mostly Zerg Battles Yes its possibly to go out with 5 ppl and take out say the Skill point area or a Small Fishing camp or something
but eveything eles is basicly Whos got more people then the other group
2) Most people in WvW (On your own servers and such) Will kitten at you if you state anything negitive or Ask a question such as WHY do you guys like WvW So much?
3) They will Verbol Harass you when you ask said question and start feeding words into your mouth (I Was asking how did we lose a keep we had just camptured for example right away basicly and People started going WHY DONT YOU JUST CHANGE SERVERS FREE BOATER? when in fact ive allways stayed on the same server)
The Man Reason why people like WvW Is
You get to use say … Large Siege Equipment.
You tend to have to Coripsond with Large number of people
You can kitten And Pillage other players who you where able to out zerg
But to me … most of the reasons why ppl like WvW Can be reason you HATE WvW
Example Want me to go over there and help out / reinforce you? K Me and 5 others are comming … only to get ambushed by like 20 people who then dance on your corpse.
(Makes you hate thouse people on said Server)
Most of the reasons people claim they like WvW Are double Edge swords The same thing can pretty much happin to you a bunch ALOT OF PEOPLE Claim WvW To be Stress Free
but just by talking can turn 8 ppl in the server agest you = Not Stress Free I think theres ALOT of Stressed people on WvW Considering in PvE I only see at max 1 person get upset about a joke or something random

No, I am stating you should try to play at the maximum of your capabilites. And mf is not the best, since mf consumes a stat that would help the entire party.
If you dont have a red ring of death, thats fine you will get one eventually or just do dailies. But there is no reason to not have an corresponding exotic ring.edit1: How exactly did you came to the conclusion that I would like you to have a red ring of death for fractacls, before you run fractals?
The problem is i am playing at the Max of my capibilitys with MF Considering its the only sigils I have and such.

The problem is … MF Gear death = Death on regular Gear basicly 11k Damage without sigils for example Do i become worthless by adding MF Ruens or sigils into my gear? Not realy no

Retaliaztion makes my own attacks hit me back which can be 11k Damage at a time …
I knew someone would point out that my math is wrong. I wanted to see if you understood what this thread is about and by doing so you showed me that you do not.
Everyone who is saying “mf is fine, I deal more damage than other people anyways” is not getting the point.
Yes you might deal more damage than people who don’t run mf-gear ( because they play bad or have a bad class ), but this does not mean you are somewhat morally allowed to do less damage yourself.
It is like saying “this man murdered a child, therefor I am also allowed to murder a child.”
You are dragging your party down with mf-gear. Yes there are other things that drag your party down, like bad players, bad skill-set, bad weapon-choices, bad positioning etc. .
But this does not make your choice of mf-gear any less selfish, you are sacrificing the time of everyone in the party so that you get more loot. You decided that you think you are special and deserve more loot, but you don’t you are party member as everybody else. What would you do if a party member would only damage a boss down to 30% and say “I have done my part now you will do the rest” and will go afk, while the rest also hit the boss? According to mf you would give him even better loot.
That is what OP wanted to convey, it is a selfish stat and should be removed from dungeons.
So now your stating that i should have to have say a Red Ring of Death from Frac in order to even run Frac?
on Northern Silver peaks i do know of a few Eliteist but most of my groups tend to only have a single level 80 or such running a said Dungeon, XD COME JOIN US GUYS <3
im just stating this without sigils or other things im critting for about 11k Damage and such … would you honestly kick me becouse my So called damage would be lower then that if i put some MF Sigils / runes into my weapons/armor and such?
Who eles deals about 9-11k Damage on a crit with 60% or higher to crit chance without sigils or such?
To me the arguement stating that a person running MF Will do less damage is only half true. Im finding im doing more damage then others in the group But i like them still becouse of Heals or such

just seems as if for people playing a Social Based game … your not being very Social or Friendly.Hyperbole aside, it the mechanics of MF itself which is for personal gains within, as you termed it, a social based game. Social based implies cooperation and helping one another, which MF does not contribute.
I have never kicked anyone with MF gear. But I do wonder how much better they can perform (they generally play keepaway due the way stat conbination in MF gear are) with other gear, and how much more efficient they will be if they were MFing DEs in CS where mobs have way less HP.
Allright … In that case why not just boot eveyone who dosnt have Red Rings of Doom or such then if your going to be like that?

I know im pretty new just a month old at GW2 (Playing time that is) and well … I Dont use sigils in my armor or Weapons and on my warrior i find im able to at times crit for about 11k Damage (Highest ive done is 11542) Without the BIG Ring of Death or such from Frac or other stuff Like that (No real sigils and such) Which seems to be alot more then other people in my group who have thouse goodies …
WOULD you seriously hate on someone who did that much damage who decided to wear MF? No offince but ive found im pretty poor compared to ALOT of other ppl out there (15 Gold at level 80 XD)

Norn was a close 3rd with Asura and Humans in last place (Name 1 important human guy who isnt a jerk surviveing or such?) HARD Pressed to come up with a name or a face to do that.
So to me I was thinking we where going to have a combination of people of all different Races be major or important characters in the story plot (Outside of Dungeon) But end up with nothing but Charr and Sylvari

No, But the main reason is mostly becouse … 1) This game wouldnt be the 80 dollar CE Version i got the game it be 80 Dollars + Say 10 Bucks a month (Maybe 20) To play
in a year i have spent … 200-320 Dollars …
this is not worth that much money (Just about evey game out there outside of MMO You dont pay per month And we concently argue if its worth the price or such)
I LOVE GW2 becouse alot of reasons one reason is its a MMO I can get into without the dumb price tag.
We let solos go unless they are right on the path where we are heading. Not ever worth it to chase one guy down.
I have noticed that pugs, regardless of a commander tag or not, are like a group of sharks smelling blood in the water. They tend to attack whatever they can see….
Ive never seen that happin in fact ive seen more offten then not a small part following the commander chase me down and kill me.

Its been close enough to 2 Weeks for me on GW2 Playing wise (I Did install before that and such but didnt start playing right away) So Bare with me if i dont know eveything or even half the stuff but …
Ive read around looked around and heard the hype of this game and got it. OK It may be a bit over-rated its not the next best thing so on so forth, But I do beleve its a step or two in the right Direction and thus over-all am Happy with it.
I Mean the community is nice The Grinding isnt a long boring Affair where I gotta stick to one way to grind NOPE I can explore or help out in WvW and other stuff and gain XP and loot and such
Love it.
Ok there are issues like the WvW and a few other things (About dungions for example)
So While this isnt the BEST THING EVER FOR A MMO or such that people Rant (Becouse its not) It is a step in the right direction.
2012 was a horrible year for gaming, Face it folks it was, and even before then it was not going in the right direction a few years before that.
With Massive Failures like Diablo 3 and Over-all Average Blandish Taste like SC2 or such (Please Spam MMM or MVT or such more its not Tactics its spamming with style) Or the ending of ME3 and other games out there.
But enough about other companys or games There are a few games that have come out recently that I would acouly rate GOOD over-all or great Like FTL (Faster Then Light) Was one of the better games to come out (It has old school graphics and a few problems but compared to alot of games these days … i say 2 people did a masterful job at it)
So Becouse games over-all have been… Horrible

and Love to see a game like GW2 Come out of the darkness of Games and shine light back into the gaming world. May not be the Best Game out there it has its problems so on so forth, But compared to so many other games that have come out recently? I Can see why people have given it so much Hype, Granted Bauldurs Gate is still my Fav, So are alot of other games, and there are other good games that have come out recently.
However most of them have been by Smaller Companys or made by like 2 people or such (Again like FTL Im amazed how well that game was made with just 2 people basicly)
So Becouse it has become Far and FEW, I Just wanted to let all the players playing this game AND all the people who made the game a Big Hug
If it wasnt for the players And peopleshowing supporttothis company im sure they wouldnt of made GW2 for example. And thanks for GW2 Devs and such in making a game that has shined a nice light into the world of Gaming

This is some personal Info about myself (I hate sharing this stuff) But if your woundering why im so mushy about said things, Due to an life long illness I ended up recently getting Depression and such and becouse of that Ive found it hard to smile and enjoy random things in life, As Such im just trying to show my enjoyment hear in reguards to improving and getting better.
with a bit more then a week of playing the game and allmost on my 2nd week of the game itself (Playing time) I have over 80 Chests … I Just feel that keys being 125 is to much, I would gladly get like 80+ Keys from the store if it didnt cost an arm and a leg in gems to get them. as such im not spending my money.
I admit ever sence joining GW2 Ive been keeping an eye on WvW While I like some of the concept and promise it offers, Seems kinda sad that for awhile it seems as if servers/WvW is going to be completely 1 sided. And that this game WvW is its biggest flaw, Still a good game I love it and all but the WvW Im sad to see it be so poor.
I Relise im pretty new to Guild Wars 2 but this news is good to me, Aparently for the past month just about my Server (Northern Peaks) Has been getting dominated by the 2 other Servers (Anvil and Boris Pass? I beleve) Where its not uncommon to see it being 80 (Us) vs like 270/300 Them, on a good day we will hit 200 for about an hour or two before droping Drasticly once again.
So to me this Re-set and the possibility of facing 2 different servers is a blessing if you ask me.
