Horologicus. It’s freakin hard to goolge this thing in motion. Which leads me to think… does this expensive skin have any animations at all?
I can’t find a gif or video of it moving and when i preview it doesn’t move (which means there’s no animation right?) Well i don’t 100% believe it b/c preview has failed before at showing things accurately.
I already seen several raven staffs on people but 0 people walkin around w/ the shield.
Anyone know if the shield does anything visually fancy?
drop one of our stupidly highly available offhands and give me a new mainhand,
so sick of trying figure which offhand to use when mainhand options are so limited

shatter is mesmers niche and it doesnt necessarilly have to play like a “zerk shattr build” which is what im assuming the average player thimks the moment they hear “shatter” brought up
but shatter utility is necessary for a mes and should be useful in all mes builds and thats y simce patch of of 6/23 the mes’ f1-f4 kitten is in a better state as oppose to pre-patch bc shattering is more useful now in all builds thx to reworked traits (emphasis on “more”) although it could still use more utility

can you (devs) just show all 5 trait lines, it’s so bad that i can only see 3 at a time.
The real question here is where do you get those knee jerk reactions to nerf mesmer? Traits or skills that have never been tested, you change or nerf or fix immediately. But with other classes stuff that are currently in game?
I never see you guys see that with Consume Plasma (which is undoubtedly OP, ask anyone)For the bug fixes too, You guys fix Backstab bug ASAP when a lot of the thieves were crying, but how about our bugs that take ages to fix?

i feel the same way throughout the YEARS. is that one guy w/ the pony tail and bangs to be blamed for (in the gw2 video where he takes care ofthe mesmers and necros)? who is doing this to us!?!? arrrrrrgh makes me angry hulk smash. I seriously am bothered.
i have a decent amount of each and i can buy exotics from both but which one is best “saved” to use on something better? (and what is better off spent on than armor?)
since the massive change of the way the game works, i know back then if i needed a berserker set, karma is probably the best but since they dropped karma gains by a lot, i want to know what’s the most efficient way of using karma and badge other than use them on armor? I don’t want to waste the karma or badges since i rarely play and want to efficiently use them.

i have the same problem, i dye it, but preview will show a glimpse of the color change and as soon as i left click to confirm, it goes back to its original color, although my character in game will actually change colors but boy is this thing annoying…
I care about the class system more than any other feature of the game and with that being said you guys think theres anything new left to reveal for our class or is this it? (As well as any other class)
I enjoyed scepter and sword but the sheer amount of off hands makes me wish we had more mainhand combos to work with or many offhands.
Im pretty happy with sword although the old sword3 without clone to swap was way fluid for fighting and the current is not
Scepter is alright (I actually hate it but like a bad radio song I was forced to like it over time bc theres no better choice) but lets face it its no long range weapon, gs is our only dependable one and the utility of scepteer3 function doesnt match the wepon and not useful (again im forced tonaccept it overtime)
So back to the anymore new reveal part… my wish would be anet busts out with a surprise long range one hand and in this case a pistol since theres no other archtype to choose from and it would be a range weapon that everything a gs is not cause that makes sense right?
Gs is long ranged with decent auto atk dmg and great point blank dmg skills and decent utility , then maybe anet will release a pistol thats great auto attack dmg and decent #1-3 skills…

i really liked the Vlad vampire one, and the mordred scheme one.
And here’s my heavy sylvari armor look stealing mesmer. (i really like the tier 3 heavy sylvari armor, and most heavy sylvari armors, i disklike sylvari light armors)
As a long time casual player of gw1 and then gw2
I’d have to say i HATE the new trait system, i have 3 80’s characters already , and when making a new char, i want to learn and unlock everything right away about that class because that’s where the FUN begins. I have 3 chars, i learned the game, i grinded, i farmed, i’m well off in gold, i got the hang of the game and the “system” the “meta” , etcetera, i PAID my noobie dues. I just want to skip that junk content and get to the advance stuff, but now it’s not exciting anymore, it’s tedious. Boring.
But you game maker guys gotta suddenly with no warning or reason and add tons of boring crap obstacles in front of my traits and prevent me from HAVING MY FUN? Why in the world…. tell us your train of thought. answer us!
spend my gold and skill points on previously-free traits? for a lack of better word… screw you guys, just cause you couldn’t think of a better use for those useless source of currency? Am i wrong? no? i don’t care b/c you didn’t tell us y the change happened and this is what my assumption is because thats how it looks like through your actions.
While we’re on the topic of traits i just wanted to bring out that a lot of traits and skills are useless/overshadowed by others and arent worth even considering to be used, please don’t do those lil pansy buffs and hope it makes a difference into convincing people to use it, and do some mor significant changes to them so people actually feel bad for not trying them out.
PS i love this game, thanks for making this game.

Please make these skills work smoother, it’s a necessary QUALITY OF LIFE improvement for the mesmer users. I know you guys have a lot on your hands but a class should at least work like it’s suppose to.
3. Illusionary Leap + Swap. Broken since long ago.
Please fix, it doesn’t make sense why this is considered “working as intended” when it only succeeds 50% of the time due to
1) terrain interruptions
2) that 1 second cripple isn’t long enough to hold people down, they can choose to dodge from the initial dash of the clone or dodge AFTER the cripple has been applied
3) the range is very short, the only time u can hit someone w/ this skill without fail (relatively speaking) is if i use it point blank range.
4) now correct me if i’m wrong, this is skill is made for capturing targets? IT’S FAILING TO DO ITS JOB, u obviously made it only 600 range so it’s not a cheap move, but even at this range, the success of it is so minimal that it doesn’t even compensate for the mesmer’s extreme lack of (chasing/fleeing) power!
5) it’s like shatter build’s main kitten nal and that means shatter builds and traits aren’t worth taking consider the survivability that the mesmer doesn’t have anymore with past nerfs/changes. Is a-net trying to slowly wipe out the shatter style play style? cause it’s working.
4. Temporal Curtain. Broken since release.
1)With all my other classes, i can stack swiftness even if by accident from some random players except for this skill, not only will it not let me stack w/ other class’ swiftness buff but not even my own… it’s so difficult in reliability to maneuver with this skill b/c of its management is unlike any other swiftness skill in the game. (please tell us your reasoning why it is the way it is when a simple added delay time can work fine just like say… Symbol of Swiftness?) It doesn’t make sense, it shoudln’t be working as intended b/c there’s clearly no logic explained to it when it’s not even OP to begin with

I saw a pet/mini “juvenile” griffon, how?
there was tons of players standing around in teq’s spawn i believe, so i oculdon’t tell who it belonged to but i don’t remember how it was spelled either gryphon/griffon, but the font was green and had juvenile on it and it was swooping around doing the “evade” atk animation, is it a pet or a mini? how do you get one?
Warrior needs a pull has anyone ever brought this up? It’s doesn’t make sense that warriors have tons of knockbacks (wh… why!?) and no pulls when htey’re melee oriented.
Axe Chain 1000 range, throw axe connected a chain to foes in front of you cone shaped, piercing damage, anyone with in the cone is pulled in and immobilized (cause you know… it’s a chain and it looks cool),
cast time instant, recharge 0 sec. deals 1 million damage.

make this announcment on bugs forum too, i’m sick of no replies for this annoying piece of kitten bug, also i don’t remember having this problem during release, it only ahppaned to me today……. or maybe i never used the skill while moving…..
what Dejw said, it’s killing me.
Even if boon hate aspects are added, most casual players will revolve their build around that (that is if it’s optimistically effective) and then what? 99% of wars will be boon hate build instead of 100blades and once again warriors will remain in its undiverse viable build. This class and all other classes should revolve around the Mesmer outline and that is to be diverse in several builds. Revolve around a class’ fighting style of keeping the user engaged and interactive.

Warrior:
Add .5 sec to Frenzy
Revert Kick Lunge back to Kick
Banners now do 49.7 damage to 250 aoe when it expires
Add extra S to Ssigil for maximum… insignificance.
Warriors now passively run 25% faster while wielding a melee weapon
Warrior runspeed reduced 25% while attacking.
Dev: Because warriors are SUCH a powerhouse (pvp), we gotta be careful, cause they can be OP with slightest wrong tweaks based on or scientifically tested calculations and that is why we must make unimportant changes to equally unimportant aspects of the class because that is …now shut yo mouth Taevion and let us do our job!

they really screwed up primevil armor from gw1, it looks freakishly ugly when compared, I feel sorry for those that paid for it
HEY BOARD MODS, HI, when warrior section get random sympathy posts, that says somethin… and that’s speaking lightly.
Dam Dev team, how can you make pvp worse than gw1…. i hated casual pvp in gw1 b/c lack of monks or too many monks screwed up the fun of the matches, and now that you created a fun fighting system, your pvp offerings lack 10x more than what gw1 had and i dind’t even like gw1’s pvp to begin with
AND GIve US the PVP FLAMING DRAGON SWORD SKIN LIKE YOU PROMISED IN GW1, it’s the least you can do

speaking of asura models, i made a level 80 max height and muscle charr for my warrior when the game was released thinking it was cool but now that my warrior is so predictable with it’s generic and slow animation that my giant model stature has made my skill animations 10x easier to tell by the enemy, i currently have stopped playing my warrior and wished it was an Asuran model because it actually ‘hides’ the tells BETTER.
Giant characters have such slower animation that all their moves are easier to predict because of the visual length in every animation.
It could just be me but i feel like the Charr animation for Warriors are so much more generic looking and predictable compared to the flashy animations of human and asuran models
