It’s pretty easy to get a gold an evening as a casual player running in a guild. So that’s less than a year for THE BEST TIER/SKIN in the game. Dedication, do you have it?

I really want to try this support build for WvWvW, any idea of how it fares Orr farming?

Sorry that you’re not happy with ONE of the ways to get an exotic. It’s hardly a grind to get an exotic compared to other MMOs.

That’s just a poor decision on the sellers’ part (unless the item was crafted for leveling). I am by no means an economist but everyone is just caring about short term gains and undercutting people by 1c instead of making long term coin. If there is an item crafters can make (exotics) that is desired then THEY are responsible for setting it at a price that makes sense to mass produce given the prices of ori/ancient wood/etc.

I have switched to a LB~Axe/Horn Combo to play a sniper role. Using a hound and the snow wolf for CC. Fun so far but seems much more passive. Will be looking into a tanky melee fighter until SB is changed

May seem obvious but are you sending your pet in first and using abilities?

I know the ranger forum is full of angst right now because of bleed builds getting shafted. However saying that they don’t care is silly seeing as this is a visual bug and not game breaking. I’m content with this one being on the back burner for now

Love the idea of 4 separate roles. Im trying to get a discussion (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/ranger/What-role-s-does-the-ranger-play-in-WvWvW/first#post390503) regarding what we CAN do at the moment as Id like to stick it out with my ranger. All the while farming things to sell so I can power level another class to ~50 from crafting.

I’ve found bet aggro to be pretty poor End game pve with Risen is a giant circle strafe match

Im curious as to what roles you believe the Ranger can provide in a WvWvW setting and how well you believe your build does at fulfilling that role.

Personally, I have run glass cannon builds that weren’t very fun and am currently running a build that focuses on keeping enemies from escaping through Muddy Terrain and Entangling Roots. I provide additional utility through Warhorn buffs for groups and run with Signet of Stone if Im getting hammered and Signet of Wild to boost personal DPS when on the offensive.

Ideally Id like a build that focused on Long Bow & Sword/Dagger with a pet that provided fear and another that froze. Still waiting to put that together but that’s another discussion.
