Are these 2 servers in an alliance? Is it an always thing?? or will it change?

Welp. My client doesn’t even connect anymore. I tried using the 64-bit client and it gave me the same problem. The client window doesn’t even load where the usual news/updates would be. It just shows the “loading” icon but nothing actually loads, it just keep going even as I write this post. Earlier I kept disconnecting, the same problem Zaoda.1653 is having. I tried both 32-bit and 64-bit client and same thing, played for about 15 or so minutes and bam-Client disconnects and sends me to the character selection screen. Any word from Anet?

Oh man. I am relieved to see I am not the only one having this issue. It’s annoying! I was doing VW in SW and got disconnected making me miss the big chest. Any devs updated us yet?

A friend of mine is experiencing the same problem and same error code as everyone else in the Divinitys Reach and Queensdale maps.

jiust log in once every 2 weeks, ..don’t play. in 6 months time, then play. Should have “lots of content” then.

to burn through in a few days, just as you would with an expansion.

Thanks for the suggestion guys, I should’ve been more specific. I am not looking for a gaming laptop exactly just something that can play GW 2. Highest settings if possible but my main focus is a laptop that can handle video and photo editing. I should’ve specify sorry, I was tired lol. If any of you guys don’t have one of those fancy high end laptops let me know and I’ll check it out. Small and powerful enough is what I am looking for. I don’t really game enough other than some casual steam games here and there. You guys rock btw.

Hey guys, sorry if this doesn’t belong here but I didn’t know where to place it. I was wondering if anyone here owns a Dell XPS 15 “2014 edition” laptop if so, how smooth can it play Guild Wars 2? Highest settings maybe? It’s one of the few laptops I am interested in due to its sleek design as well as power despite not being a gaming laptop.

Let me know or suggest a laptop, I will be buying one soon.

It’s a terrible update. I swear I think half of these guys just want a legendary or precursor out of Anet lol. I really don’t see anything good about the update except the wardrobe system and that’s a mess. Eh, to each their own.

Most definitely. It was definitely fun and epic and lol bodies falling everywhere haha. I actually had huge lag spikes however I understand that since my laptop is very low on specs and I knew I wasn’t going to be the only one doing the event, it is an “MMO” after all right? epic tho =P

I honestly enjoyed the event and the loot was definitely worth it. If you lagged well then that’s not anyone’s fault is it? I mean get a better PC, some folks were unable to join (I know a few) and those who did still complain? give me a break. There’s a difference in giving feedback and just straight up complaining. I was lagging too, a lot, however, I still had tons of fun. Folks dropping and folks reviving it was all epic. It’s a shame it’s a one time deal but lucky for me and many more we were actually able to play. If you had a chance to play and complaining about lag then get a better PC. You want your own server to satisfy your needs? make your own game and don’t tell anyone to avoid lag issues.

Sounds to me you’re the one trolling my specs are a lot worst ( Compaq Presario CQ62) and I had no problem. Second, I am not talking about those who got kicked out during the event. That’s an understandable argument. Third if you feel this game fell into the “Sht hole” you claim then leave, less lag, less complaining. Go pay $15/$13 for a sub.

By the way guys, sorry for those that missed it but “Spend my money somewhere elsewhere” really? I’m pretty sure information on the [3 day event] was posted on Arena net’s main page. Sent to everyone’s E-mail (if you were smart to sign up for their newsletter) posted on their Twitter, Facebook etc. Be serious guys, stop making it seem like nobody was notified a months earlier. Too much complaining not enough playing =l.
