Hello,

I have been having trouble with my game starting slow since last patch. My game uses to take ~10 seconds to start up, but for some reason, its now taking ~25-30 seconds time. I have tried to reinstall the game, but it helped only when I played it when it was “playable”, after the game was full updated I was back at 25 seconds loading time. This loading time is not ingame, but is from login -> character select. I have no clue whatta do anymore.
Please help

Same problems, If I have to believe the game aint the issue, all though every time I ping I get a huge spike in the graphs. but they tell me its my PC.

I have been having this issue for so long right now, whenever I right click to turn my camera around, I lose my cursor, when I stop right clicking it ofcourse comes back on the same spot. Is there a way (not interrested in GW2TACO or something) that I can show my mouse cursor while my right click is down. Thnx in advance for the response(s).

Games dont run over more then 2 cores, Im quiete sure GW2 only runs over 1, and maybe 2.
I run with a i7 4790K and a GTX970, I reach 60 FPS, but run way lower settings. As long this game sticks with dx9 and aslong as games dont run over more then 2 cores, you wont get much better.
My friend runs on a server (dual LGA system) with 4x GTX Tesla, he has only 110 FPS on extreme settings, while other games give him 900-2000 FPS. But then he paid 20k usd for a pc

Your incombat, with max settings, tons of people, tons of partical effects, this seems to be normal for a dx9 game. Your Effect LOD is not disabled, eats ur frames, shadows eats frames. your playing at higher 3840×2160. I dont see a “low FPS”
Dungeons/Fractals is only 5 people, DS is ~50 people

Its kinda kittened, when you look to the size of the Guildhall and compare that, to where you can ONLY Place 994 Decorations.

Any hope that this cap is gonna be raised, or even better, removed?

if you check a lot of the online resource, you would know that this game is a CPU dependent game than GPU, you arent getting any higher fps is due to the CPU.

I’m not getting anything better than you with my inferior CPU and superior GPU.

Are you saying I have a bad CPU? While its later series

Running in WvW (60v60) = 30-40 FPS. I know its seems to be high for alot of people, but I feel its kinda sloppy.

Although I got Windowed Fullscreen here, Im running normal Fullscreen in WvW.

Is the (low) FPS in WvW based on my Semi high-end rig or game engines? Am I doing something wrong?

I have been having some increase of Sound Bug / Memory Leak, its either of the two. Sound Dissappears, FPS starts to lower to 20 and feels like gigantic laggfest. Only game close helps.
Any fix?
I did Rollback GPU drivers, Audio Drivers and completely reinstalled GW2

This sound issue is called (or related) to the Sound Bug. I have been having this myself since the latest match more and more. I dont find a possible way to fix it yet, though I reset my Audio Drivers today (Maybe fix).

At random location (Bloomhunger, Fire Shaman, Lions Arch) my FPS starts to drop/shrink to half (For a short amount of time, usually about 5-10 seconds) and then climbs back up. I am looking to see if there is a possible fix for this, never had this issue with my Windows 8.1. Game is running in Compatible mode for W8.

If ANet expected people to earn enough to make a legendary in a month or Ascended gear in a week, then sure, the acquisition rate for spirit shards feels anemic. If you recall that the devs expect that we will build slowly towards luxury gear, then spirit shards are dropping perhaps a bit too easily.

And dont have 10hrs a day to do PvE

In other words, this is entirely a matter of perspective. The OP doesn’t have shards saved up and wants to make a legendary now; most of those responding can’t spend shards as fast as they earn them. It’s my guess that this is no accident.

I have the Ascendeds already, just a point of changing the stats, spending 10 each time kinda hurts when you get 3 a day, and you get next to nothing because WvW is not rewarding

Sadly you still need ~450 to make a Legendary and 120 for 1 Ascended Armor Set

So leveling up and doing dungeons (besides gold and bags) became pretty next to useless. Grinded 750 bags from SE, opened them and got 64 Spirit Shards, woopdiedoo.
If I would go for a Legendary, this would require me ~450 Spirit Shards / 64 = 7.05 × 750 = 5.287 Champion Bags.
And Yes, I may have been unlucky, but the drop rate of them is kinda complete sh*t!

I think they should:
1. Raise the drop rate out of Champion Bags.
2. Raise the drop rate from mobs.
3. Reward 1-3 Spirit Shards for completing Dungeons/Fractals
4. Reward 1 Spirit Shard (+1 Mastery Point when HoT is out) for Leveling up

Game was running fine Yesterday all day long, Booted my PC today, and the game keeps disconnecting every 2-3 minutes. Showing a wonderful error ingame that My connectionw as lost to the login server. Rebooted my Router, rebooted Modem, nothing helps.

Im having some mini freezes randomly in the game, just GW2, it hangs for 1-2 seconds and then continues,

Guild chat has been failing since the March patch, was hoping for a fix today. Well. Any solution? Leaving is not an option

Game is running fine, then all sudden people run to corners run to anywhere, and boem, error Code=7:11:3:191:101.

Im pretty sure they are pre-loading HoT related stuff, There has been an avarge of 40% FPS loss for alot of people. We will have to wait from an update of them

There has been no changes in drivers or any software related (Nvidea) cant blame the user here

So for the last couple of days, I seem to randomly disconnect out of the game. Teamspeak is still running fine. So does Youtube and other stuff, any solution to this? Or wait for Anet to Patch?

With some of the patches this issue fixes, with some it doesnt. I have no clue what causes this. Recently purchased a entire new graphix card. Same problem still there.

Is there soon going to be an update where it supports to run over 4/6 cores instead of 2. getting quiete kitteny where GW2 gets forced to run 2 only

As an NA player on EU ping isn’t much of an issue for me. It seems EU’s have far worse ping issues when going to NA though, for whatever reason.

The error started to come since last Windows Update, running SweetFX, seems to come from SweetFX. Anyone knows how to fix it?

If you look for zerging look into Blackgate and Tarnished Coast. They always have zergs
