But he is a Ranger player so i suppose it truely is a L2P from his side´ HUHUH thief dodged my longbow and 3 shot me full zerker build´.. Like any other class would.

sminkiottone.6972 Msg´ed you in game since i suppose you want to back that L2P. I am put more time and effort in thief then you ever will. So dont go around and say things you clearly too stupid to speak about.

I honestly believe thief has been and still are one of the most bugged classes(Weapon skills,class skill and skills in general)

And how the steal bug is still in place after over a year is just showing how much care Arenanet gives about the class.

When you steal it freezes you in place til death or Inf arrow(shortbow 5)/shadowstep.

I have experienced this bug 3 times the last two days but some days it is there some days its not. But It is game breaking for WvW.

I have been away from game for some months waiting for them to fix thief, but i came back to a even worse state then i left.

With last patch thief been put in a place where they are two ´viable´ builds for wvw. But truth is, if you want stealthy roamer or duelist you better off with Mesmer.

Every class has it´s strong side in game, but thief neither has pvp,pve or wvw. they simply reach such a lacking state.

Other classes has gotten small buffs, due to gear,skill and state changes making them stronger while thief been sitting stale with a few nerfs along the way. and I bet my coins that within the next 2 months the last two builds being GC zerker or tor P/D will get thrashed also.

People like their Guardians, Warrior, Ranger or whatever. We are a lot that like our thiefs but have to admit we are playing with huge handicap when it comes to 1vs1 agienst most classes(If a thief shouldnt shine in 1vs1, then when and how should they shine?) They have stealth but to be honest a Mesmer can be pretty dang stealthy along with clones,higher base hp,more boons and stunbreakers. they outshined.

Last patch buffs showed they have no clue how their own game and class within work.

So this thread is to get some attention and hopeful Arenanet will try to at least understand class before tweaking traits,skills or weapons any future. Its at it limit.

And. If you honestly think Thief is OP OP OP . you are one of lesser skilled player they doesn´t care about understanding a thief or pvp. A Good WvW or PvP player will have a good hand agienst a thief.

To Thief´s that will urge to call the L2P card. Whisper me ingame and ask for a duel/fight before getting kitteny.

Well. Welcome to Guild wars 2. thief has only gotten nerf since day one, meanwhile other classes has been stale or getting small buff leaving thief so far behind that you are playing with handicap.

i also have had countless 1vs2/3 tonight and won most of them but again its millers so no wonder, but when they come with 10 people and golem you start to wonder if they are for real..

either way it lose it ´fun´ when they ´zerg´ ya spamming one :P

So how do you 1vs1 deso or miller. ya wait for their 2 buds to DC.

As solo roamer this is worse week in long time, low indivudal skill, and always groupped making it utterly boring.

Well Thiefs strong side was roaming and scouting, but both Pvp, Wvw and Pve they been nerfed to a state that can be used but with such a handicap. that they should have done something, i know quite a few thief main players that has quit already( I been way 6 months to come back to a even worse state)..

I made my thief as first char when i started playing, weapon skills were semi bugged for D,S and SB, but i dealt with it and played it as main. i acutally was thinking stealth debuff was a good idea to make it more challenging to be thief. but now It basicly like playing with a handicap. If you meet anyone with same experinced let it be engineer,warrior,guardian,mesmer or necro you can just bend over or run away.
They wrecked any sort of Pvt builds. now a days its either full GC( or close to ) and just hope you can burst them in 1 sec with their 5 stun breaker and much better health pool and sustain.

Other classes has been buffed to a level far above the one of thief.

I tried more or less all builds. thief has one of the least choices of builds and not even very viable builds. I really believe they will have to re-think what they doing or just delete the class already.

I know they wont do a thing since arenanet probly has the worse support and just awareness of their playerbase i have ever come across.

Guess i will have to re-roll engineer or mesmer if i want ´roamer

I started to play Guild Wars 2 around last hallowen, I leveled my thief within a week, got hooked on EB, I was/am on FSP. within 3 weeks i had tag on my thief(earned by solo roaming capping camps and sentries on borderlandes along with other events lots of play time). meanwhile i was working on a new build for that purpose.

result i had was 2 builds,

1 extremely good sustain, high inta, buffs but extremely poor in 1vs1.

2 decent sustain, normal inta, no buffs, good mobilty strong in outnumbered fights and leading zerg(less clusterbomb spam and heal but more mobilty) (my fav)

I have taken a lot in my time leading on thief, and i have done it for over 300 hours(have had a break on 6 months due to work but back and still going)

biggest con, you dont really add much to the zerg.

I run soldiers with cele trinkets and runes of divnity/traveler,

I do suggest main weapon Shortbow rune of restro(for leading) best sigil for zerg fights

d-d or s-d depending on prefence.

but you need to know your class such has steal certain classes for example water field.. good or using smoke field with some experienced warriors to hide their backline and help secure yours from fire.

this is just my 5 cent..since i dislike hate being made by most on thief commanders :<

No that can´t be. because Gandara doesn´t have a nightcrew, they barely have players playing off-peak, even in peak hours, they are struggling badly without organized guilds but just a FEW dedciated players.

The trap might be useful but think about supply and tiem to prepare it. Do you know what a group of 5 thieves can do to people?. Decide one target,

I played thief for 1k hours, I enjoyed it. but must admit I get sick of all the stealth-heal up and come back, because they Do not have skills to acutally dodge,

give back 4 second reveal, or make thives decide between conditon removal or healing in stealth. That will balance it just fine.

Thieves are not overpowered, but no class should be able to run from 90% of his mistake or death, Sword-Dagger, Dagger-pistol, shadowstep,blinding powder and shadow refuge, more or less standard setup.

I been leading quite a few events this week, I must say i have had some fun, I hope to keep Gand in our tier and improve fighting them, Won´t mind seeing MS go.. Thieves killing themself on retailion is just getting old along with their workship of ACs.

to BT roaming on FSP border, You guys are truely a pain in the kitten when i´m attempting to casual leading some pugs in our border from the sylvari warrior.

I must say i don´t get it niether Rng and everything being limted. I suppose they trying to force people to keep playing in that time since they know their endgame is lacking. I do not know.

Arenanet Doesn´t care about it, they acutally think you will be stupid enough to try again, thats what they take their players for unfortunely

a lot of people already stocking up on Ectos, i doubt if prices go up it will not be quick, since most in my guild doesnt sell theirs but wait, i know more then 50 players with 1k plus laying around in bank.

Hello, I had 6000 gems laying around and i got myself some chests, I got a weaponskin. and went to check out the skins, i clicked preview on them all, but when i previewed the Axe, I got it into my bags. I am very sure i didn´t double click it or anything. What can i do about this? would loved a skin for my mesmer.

6 hours on FSP before i tried a different server, i used dulfy´s guide, so yeah.. But would really like to know something since arenanet is refusing as always to response to support tickets

My main focus in game has been WvW, and as i stumbled onto this items i didn´t really care much about them niether think about the importance, so i deleted them believing if i needed them again i would be able to just regain them, but I been trying to run around for 6 hours, different chars, different server. I am not capable of getting a single item.

Has anyone have had the same problem and did you manage to fix it. ?

Well for those of us that made a fair share of gold using this, had bothered to spend 2 mins on downloading rscilent for autoclick at 0,1 millisecond, kinda speeds it up.

eitherway with rise most of us already left this due to the fees you have on postings(which most people wont take in count) so now the bags will rise even more and have zero profit for anyone, So OP you got a lot of bags you wish to sell for a good price in bank and wanted a rise of prices?

it is a prebuilt, it has windows 8, but basicly if its unable of running wvw with decent graphic( i am aware of server lag since anets servers are terrible) but in generel just remove lag and make it more smooth.

if its not capable of doing so it would be a waste to get it for me.

So i love to play WvW, leading zergs, or run in coordinated groups of 2-4 groups. But i am finding myself running on low graphic in wvw if i wish to see fights and take part in them. I miss a good graphic and smooth gameplay.

I am not much into hardware and specs. and hoped someone here could help me.

Nope, its 3 seconds in wvw again now don´t know how many boring thiefs that keep fighting with CnD, heal up and remove condition in stealth then repeat til they give up bashing on my warrior, It might just be one second, but that one second was the one second that decide if you screwed yourself over or did well.

Pop stealth back to 4 seconds, No reason to lower to thief skill cap to nothing. now you can basicly play 0-30-30-0-10 or 10-30-or whatever gets you on 3 seconds is a joke.

I did about just as fine with 4 seconds, i do suppose a lot of newbies QQ´ed about them having to learn how to use their class with dodge and blind.

Anet decide to make thief newbie mode again with lowering the debuff, I liked it the way it was, It was fine, still pulled off a lot of great 1vs2 and alike.. Thieves should be mobile, they should have a advance in taking out their target.. but more or less permant stealth with low risk(with trait its basicly impossible to lock down a thief in stealth.)

Thief skill cap= non existing again.

(i have over 1k hours on my thief more or less purely wvw, I love it but really 4 sec debuff was fine for anyone with a brain and understanding of dodge and blind)

tried to do roaming with same setup but knights armor and lyssa runes(second armor set) was very great, we had 3 hammer guardians and 2 wars. rest spread with DD eles, Mes and alike

Any suggestions on change of Sigil or Runes?. also about to use my laurels. I cant decide if to go for P-T-Crtdmg or P-T-Crit-

Been having a lot of fun this week, Also only week i can remember i got 3 exotics, Don´t know if it is the drop rate or just because they are so easy to kill. The farm fest at EB in SM was really fun, managed to fill my bags more then once (all 20 slots with unlocked bag slots)

Anyways Have fun, and I do believe things will be different next week

I was testing this with another thief in WvW, we both run the Hidden Killer trait.

After patch its utterly broken, it did fail a few times before but now. Its like 1 out of 4 being a crit, but is this due to my owkitten% crit chance or the trait?…

Is this a 30 point trait that doesn´t work?..

Every time someone bring up this ´hack´ and ´cheat´ it will change into one mud throwing thread. If you see a entire guild or a like. Sure say it, otherwise just report.

Was rather a challenge in EB last night, I can see FR and UW have both got new forces and guilds, I did acutally enjoy it. until ´Most´ of the people stop paying attention chasing after every kill they could. we also had a lot fewer people, some taking break some just believed this was going to be that easy.

Aye the fear really annoys me, I tend to play my bunker (tough-heal-condi) a lot, and normalliy use fear-entangle to land root on tricky oppents so i can get some condis up..

Yesterday i had a duel going on for 12 mins purely because he would stealth every single time i had him under 20%, and I was so close to getting him but fear failed Every time.

Aye, ya probly bout right, was using it when i was beastmaster and rage(quickness) on shortbow since all my boons was shared with pet, but going to try out..

I do really like look of this build, a lot like what i run except i been focusing on kiting instead of pet.

Instead of divinity what about sup runes of Ranger?. I have Rangers on my knight, and Divinity in bank, but I wonder if Rangers isnt going to be close to same.

I am using Supeior Sigil of Battle on GS(3 might stacks every swap) isn´t this also a fine choice for build to boost bleed dmg and dmg output?.

I think theres 20 topics about this subject, Unfortunely i don´t think its going to happen. I would love to take my Thief and change from Charr. The medium armor is terrible for Charr, Heartseeker animation,daggerstorm, and a few others really start to bore me.
have over 900 hours play on that thief, but i somewhat lost want to play him of late, unless i have to act as Commander. I hope at some point i can change it into any other race. Charr´s are a cool race, I do like them. But for Thief.. Not so much

I have nothing to think about, You posted it onto a Offical forum, Smileys or not. People has been contacting me today being offend or annoyed some even kitten by such statement. That was why I took the time and wrote here related to it.

I been working on communication on server and guilds, last days happenings and the meeting yesterday just made it fall down again. I´m not the one being offend here. The people on the server ( Or a good share of it) is. So what i think in this matter won´t matter, That´s what you think and do now.

AG really surprised me with their numbers on the field, well structed, I am looking forward to a challenging week, unfortunely i won´t be able to play much due to work this week, but every week we see and learn and improve new tactics.

FS lacked some communication tonight. And apparently some dedicateion from some guilds.

However we did notice that AG went to bed. Recaptured our map and are now working on AG border.

I know some guilds have been doing a lot of work last week and eased out at the reset, this weeks meeting was lacking a lot and it showed on the maps. people didn´t know where guilds were going, who to contact, what tactic and plans there were.
It was getting too off topic and last lead. But at least it proves how important it is.

related to dedication, when people personalliy go out and tell a guild that they are not being active or helping, It can easily backfire, Because that guild commutation with other guild can easily have far bigger impact then you think.

So why you brought this up here I do wonder.

Well GH wil rise but I think they will hit hard and die out at some point, xaoc are active most of the time, the average not even that good but again its about coverage and co-work. Just don´t give me any of this is because we are good and kitten, its because of coverage bombing us back to stone age every morning, if not we be spawn camping your BL.

I mean MS keep showing their lack of tatics, Who else would lose their entire Bl to hold SM, sm is 35 points. 3 keeps 3×25, 4 towers 4×10, supply 6×5. 35 Points for losing 145. Also eariler with MS not as much taking a Supply camp of GH having 20 people sitting in our BL annoy us while fighting GH. They didnt even get briar. So was for zero point. Its good news for us as FS, but It´s laughable xD.

Well I like tactics and throwing new things,ideas and alike . but MS has said just been stupid toward them self. They do throw what they have at us at times GH launch big time, which mean they take a tower from us, a supply camp, meanwhile a strike team sitting with all their supply camps,25-30 points from em camps, How is this working for them.. Honestly not worried about them.

I have no problem fighting mesmers and thiefs, but again I don´t run GC. I know there are two stats called Vi and tough.

Unless you play the class you should just crawl back in your hole til you know what you talking about.. He is invis, he is not a ghost. skillshot and aoe can kitten a thief anytime. Thief is anti-bad players.

I find it funny, Baddies come and complain about thieves, While a mesmer acutally can do the job Better then a thief, and also finish people off in stealth, They have the entire kit, I´m on FS and i mean all the DE servers we been facing are more or less all GC, P-T-V gear with Divnity,Bloodlust and Valk Jewels, Manage me to wreck stupids like this. But give me a bunker ele with same stats, a Mesmer, a Guardian, Engineer, well necro. and I will be struggling to do anything 1 vs1, Different is.. They are smart enough to surive their second set of CD, build def and try that!..

Fab. What large organised guilds do FSP have you speak off?, I can think of two that puts up more then 10 people at the time, AoA,Blos and DW.

But I personally been enjoying this week being more challenging overall, just sad to see the massive early-morning zerg get on and screw us up.

But we did find a few weakness we will attempt to use GH, Too bad Millers threw away any logical sense of thinking but hitting us so hard everytime GH make a move,

MS few guilds holding the entire server up. but bad lead of server. where their tactics went i wonder, Good example this morning i said on TS when GH just took hills, now DE will show up within 10 mins, and they did !. GH attack us, MS will follow, EB or our BL, so much effort wasted on our BL for 20 points, meanwhile you lose more in Supply camps, You wanted could got second but you throw everything away for that third place. Never -facepalmed so many times..
