I am still trying to figure out what profession i want to be, i started a necro but im not sure if i will want to level this prof to 80. i havnt played much but i am having fun on it so far. i was wondering how their damage is, survivability, difficulty, how helpful they are in pve, and how good they are for pvp. i havnt heard that much about necros compared to other professions, but i heard that they are sort of broken compared to other professions. it is really bugging me that i cant what i want to play as.

i just made a thief, im only level 9 but i seem to be doing very poorly on him so far. i feel like im not doing much damage, and im dying way too fast. ive tried out d/d amd p/p builds and neither of them are working for me. what are some tips for pve leveling. tips on 1v1 and when there is a group of mobs. also i need help with using my initiative effectively.

yeah that looks pretty cool, the only thing i dont like about that hood though is that the sides stick out and makes it look weird.

i personally think that your thief looks the best out of the others. i like the assassins creed look that yours has.

my first character was a thief, but as i was trying out other professions i ended up deleting him for some reason. my highest level is only level 21, a guardian that i was liking but i was never much of the support type. i always liked the idea of being stealthy. back when i played WoW i always wanted to make a rogue, but i was so busy on other max levels so i never got around to it, and the thief seems to be the closest thing. i just made a thief and i am about to go to bed, but i look forward to leveling him up tomorrow when/if i play.

A lot of mmos have the option to pay to change your race and i was wondering why this was not put into this game. i made a norn and have spent a good amount of time on him, but I’m not liking being a norn too much anymore. i think there should be a race change you could buy with gems or include it in the total makeover kit. Little things like being a norn and not liking it bugs me a lot, and im thinking about making a whole new character just so it would stop bugging me. I understand that it would be tricky to do and all with the mystory quest line based on race. just saying though that a lot of people would pay to have their race changed. who else agrees it would be nice to have?

so ive been playing around with different professions, and im deciding my main is going to be a guardian. is there any things i should know about being a guardian and any tips about leveling. im new to guild wars and i come from WoW, so im not used to the way this game works.

i am able to log in with the launcher, and after i hit play it opens the game but i only get a black screen. from there i am unable to tab-out and i have to start the task manager in order to close it. is there any quick way i can fix this? i’m trying to avoid taking the long way of re installing

yeah im thinking about not using a ranger now because the mechanic is pets, im not very good with pets. i like it better where i only really have to worry about controlling myself

hi im new to the game, i bought the game around when it first released, but i didnt really have much interest because im not understanding it very well. i tried a few professions and i just recently made a ranger that i want to get to 80. but im struggling at leveling. im more used to WoW where the leveling comes mostly from straight questing, but i noticed there really arent quests in this game. what do i do when i do all the hearts, and i cant find any events or there arent any people to help with the events. ive tried WvW but i didnt seem to be getting much exp from it. im asking for the basics of leveling. if you know a link to a nice guide that would be great. thank you.
