Yes it’s true you wiped us once, right after you swapped the guardian for a necro.
Subsequently we swapped the thief for a guardian to have more condi removal and proceeded to spawn camp you again. I will attach an image to show that we did indeed have 4 players. It also humorously depicts a broken XOXO running back to spawn after we stomped half your group.

Anyway, isn’t it annoying trying to uphold a lie? Deep down you must know that we are better than you, just like [Holy] does (although they were slightly better than you). Congrats goes out to Yaks for great second place game strat. Always love servers who refuse to try for first. 50+ man zerg hear much higher estimates to assault NSP bl as you let the leader stay way ahead in points by giving them your EB. So funny when the Pvdoor team has more golems than we have players on the map and still is falling farther behind.

Pro tip of the day if you attack first place server everything you take counts twice in helping you catch them.

Best matchup up in a long time so many free bags from these giant groups of unorganized 1 spamming players making me rich already. Farming AI guild as they train res and run back to camp with double our numbers for a solid 20 mins was fun netted me about 20 loot bags. Who needs living story when you can farm SBI and Yaks bend takes less thought to get kills here too.

IoJ likes Parties per tick and objectives. Ideally we like to have at least 4 keeps so we can have enough space for all the parties per tick to happen at once without getting too crowded. Sometimes the parties are a bit too big and we need to expand the party over to another keep or the castle, but it’s usually temporary.

Usually stuff gets broken during said parties, but then again, during the ‘multi team’ parties when everyone else comes over to party with us, our stuff gets broken too, so it’s kind of an unspoken rule that whoever moves back in picks up the tab on the new drapes and carpets and such.

But yeah…parties. mmmmmm….

I fought you yesterday, you are very glassy. I was playing my warrior and was very clunky since i hadnt played it since last year.. you laughed at me as i ran off from that mob of friendlies you had.. then i killed you when you chased that noob off the bridge. It was SBIBL on reset. Oh, that sword #4 torment hurts amirite? Moral of the story.. you talk alot of hype and although i have ran into some talented XOXO you are not all that good yourself, not terrible but certainly nothing to brag about. Regardless of the score , win or lose most of us go there to fight other people. I hate pve , so what else is there. If it means running solo into 3456 I do that. If it means rolling 1 uplevel alt with 5+. Well , ill do that to.

What are you talking about? Of course, you suicide against thousands of players when you’re alone. You’re supposed to kill up-arrows with greater numbers; it’s not ok for them to be in wvw, and they need to be aware of this. However, I wasn’t talking about that stuff. I’m talking about how you shouldn’t be upgrading camps and watching them. Also, balloons.

Honestly, this is more about balloons now. Two NSP are confirmed to not have the balloon, and I suspect you lack one too. Stop clinging to your delusional idea of fun, go get the balloon and start having some real fun.

And, of course, always remember to sit spam those uplevels when you gank them 5v1. It’s rude not to, really.

I run 20 0 30 20 0 full apothecary gear scepter/torch and staff.

I started off my mesmer running a phantasm spec but found it was so easy with no skill curve that I could faceroll 95% of non mesmers the first day I hit 80. It is designed so any imbecile can be a pro at it but it limits actual good players from gaining skill. I am praying for the day that a build based on never doing anything yourself, except dodging will be nerfed to the ground where it belongs, and builds that require some actual skill rise.

I was just throwing this out, as I’m a big fan of the 20/0/30/20/0.

But it really is the same build — staff & scepter/torch. The stealth, burning, toughness are the exact same (minus the 20% condi duration, really the biggest loss). And in return you get vigor and bleed on crit, not to mention DE (and let’s face it, the minor traits in Domination serve little purpose in this build; what I’d really like is for someone to weigh the 20% duration vs. the damage from bleed on crit). The only other differences are that you lose 6 seconds on the torch 4 skill, and debilitating dissipation, which I really like. And sure, the iMage cures more conditions, but how often does it survive long enough to attack 2, 3, or 4 times. And given that the huge regen is most of the healing here, the drop off from MoR instead of Ether Feast is negligible.

Lyssa is just an option the synchronizes a little. I haven’t tried them yet, as I’m still running Melandru, which works fine too.

Anyway

I would argue the minor traits in Dom being worthless, when I drop chaos storm on someone I often get 10-20 vuln which even though I am not a power build a portion of my damage is direct damage. If you are not spamming auto attacks you are losing out on a lot of damage over the length of a fight. My scepter attack hits for around 230 non crit that is more than 2 ticks of bleeding for me. Add in the bonus of applying another condition to cover your prestige geomancy combo and those minor traits do work well with the build. Along with all these things gaining 200 power is far better than crit damage in a non power/crit build 200 stats is not something to be ignored as it is a linear increase in damage.

As far as gaining vigor and clone bleeds on crit I would have to lose a fair amount of healing power to gain enough crit rate to make the clone bleed proc worth it and vigor is not missed in this build as you have so many stealths that endurance has lots of time to regen without vigor.

Turrets aren’t quite as game-breaking as permanently keeping 25 stacks of torment on someone. Also, how hard do you think adding an ICD to a rune set is? Not very.

Really? A signature ability Type is rendered pretty much obsolete. I would say, how is that Torment thing more gamebreaking?

-It applies just to Med Kit.
-Kit swapping has a short cooldown build into it.
-You need to just sit there and spam swapping medkit 13x to get 25stacks of torment. Thats easily 20+sec of just switching back and forth to medkit.
-All you got from this, is 25 stacks of Torment and little more. Where are your other conditions? Your direct damage? Your own defensive? Nothing, just 25 stacks of torment.

Hardly gamebreaking.

I don’t know if you know, but I think the mesmer puts on the most stacks of torment at once, and it’s 5 stacks. That’s it. Even having over 10 stacks constantly on someone is ridiculous, especially considering all the other conditions engineers throw on.

The only way for an Engineer to be putting on any other conditions with this 25 stacks of torment are turrets while they literally just swapped in and out of medkit. Also, has anybody confirmed how long the stacks of Torment even last? I wouldn’t think that an Engineer would even be able to put out 25 stacks just because they would start falling off in the middle of them switching in and out of Medkit.

I do think it would have been a little dumb, but I wouldn’t say OP. If your entire game plan was doing this, anybody could easily just kite you and you wouldn’t get to have your fun anyway.

I had 20 sec torment from these runes and they were brutal on my Mesmer. Really kitten ed off that Anet made a massive nerf instead of just adding a 10sec icd to med kit that only affects procs or even just 5 sec would have been fair imo. Anet strategy don’t fix broken game design nerf runes that made new builds fun and viable.

A 5 sec icd would have been a good compromise so that engineers couldn’t abuse it or better yet fix engineers med kit so it has a cd function built into that doesn’t affect its use just runes, but god forbid anet actually think anything through just make rash overreaching nerfs instead of fixing broken game designs.

In order to use the proc on heal I had to waste all my healing skills offensively which I found pretty fun. Gave me the option to play bunker or bursty condition depending on the scenario. Wish I was able to record some of my fights last night they were pretty epic with 8 stacks of torment on groups and 13+ on solo players was really funny.

Do you think it was a reaction to the qq’ers which prompted the quick patch? I’m more inclined to believe it was just an oversight to begin with but who knows. Sorry you lost out on all that gold – would have loved to see the fights. :-)

Yeah lost the 40g I spent on runes plus the Melandru runes I put them over which is another 18ish gold that I wont be replacing since I am over farming, I only had the gold from leveling my alt guardian.

20 secs doesn’t seem like an oversight as all other heal proc runes are 10secs. This looks like knee jerk reaction to qq and the qq was 100% justified but Anet should make the fix to the game design issue that is what caused all the qq it was not the runes.

We have the best heal to take full advantage of those runes. ^^ I was wondering about an ICD. Really we have the only spammable heal correct? They may not add an ICD if it really only would affect one profession. But they do love nerfing us.

Engineer can spam medkit all day.

I switched to 30 0 30 10 0 build now for extra mantra heal. The ae potential of this build is amazing now.

Using mantra of concentration now too helps get my heal back up and its just all around amazing with 3 casts

Just spent all my gold on Superior Runes of Tormenting. Hands down most op rune it will have to get nerfed as currently does not have an icd.

Changed my heal to mantra and my rotation to prestige start mantra heal charge blink onto target unload both mantra heals swap to staff. 3 bleeds, burning, 6 stacks of torment that last 20secs then add chaos storm onto that target and it is gg.

Main thing I feel that is op about runes atm beyond icd is they don’t break stealth so you can run around stealthed unloading condis on targets.

This is an interesting build, I’m trying it out at the moment.

It’s particularly interesting in that it’s pretty close to the 20/20/30/0/0 condition build that’s popular at the moment, but you’ve deliberately given up on the Duelling line (and Precision altogether) and gone Inspiration instead. That’s a pretty bold move.

I miss the clone spamming from the 20/20/30 build, but I do like the extra health and the faster CDs on the Scepter (and of course the extra condi can’t hurt) that come from Inspiration. I have a feeling that you might be right that the extra buffer, near-continuous regen and better spike healing is relatively more useful for a Condition-based build than the ability to spam clones and the illusions bleeding on crits, especially given that Necros are big atm.

Still, got to play around with it more (I’m using it in PvE as well, it’s quite good for PvE too).

I have tried the 20/20/30/0/0 build and don’t think it is even close to as strong as this build for 1vx fights. I can’t use the clone on dodge trait as it gives away your position when stealthed.

As for fighting necros swap in Phantasmal Disenchanter and they become easy. Phantasmal Disenchanter is becoming my new favorite third utility along with blink and decoy it is so op in 1v1 fights will surely get a nerf when people realize and start using it more. It stops bunker eles and guards and makes p/d condition thieves a joke.

Et doesnt seem to have the issues with numbers that people have complained about I watched a 30+ man zerg on at a time when neither of the other 2 servers had 10 on the map. The ET zerg managed to take 1 tower and 2 camps and then lost them within 10 mins. This ET zerg spent at least 15 mins chasing our 3 man XOXO group around and failing to log any kills and getting us 20 stacks on our sigils. They chose to chase u instead of taking an unguarded Bay.

The more I play against ET the more I realize it isn’t solely a numbers issue. Running from even number fights, chasing small groups with 30 man zergs, and making no effort to use their players in an efficient manner to gain more points.

Your server could have twice its current population and without upgrading the quality of players you will always be bottom bracket server.

Been leveling a guardian alt last few weeks just came back to my mesmer and its even more op than I remembered. Will be farming another set of apothecary gear to try with Rune of the Guardian for burn on block with all the aegis procs I think it may up the damage of this build a good bit, will post my results when I get the new gear going.

I tried to convince PAXA to move to FC a few times they would have a ton more fun, AR might also be a good choice now.

Get your dirty mitts off of our PAXA! HoD loves our small team play and every HoDer in the BLs who either has had PAXA jump in and aid their fight or watched them do their thing knows they are an HoD asset.

You guys are just tired of running afoul of them in the borderlands during HoD matchups and watching your staked servermates /ragequit and come to the forums to complain – only to get staked again by PAXA on the forums

Been leveling an alt this week so haven’t been in WvW at all on my main. So I hop in today wow Kain and Bp are just terrible. It is so sad I can only assume I fought only pve baddies today since every thief I destroyed was running multiple legendary weapons along with 0 skill. Guess I will go back to leveling my alt and wait for real fights with skilled players after this matchup of zergball baddies is over.
