Is it still possible to obtain this item? I know to get it you have to complete “Boss week” but I says it should be under the Living World Achievement but it’s not there so was Boss Week and limited event and now over? or is it still there just hidden?

Hi all I have been doing AC P3 a lot and I have noticed I seem to be a tiny amount of damage to the graveling burrows compared to other classes (I’m a warrior) I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong but I use For Great Justice and then use my Hundred Blades on them but it just seems to do so little damage to it.

Am I doing something wrong or is it just warriors don’t do a lot of damage to the burrows compared to Elementalists?

(I’m level 69 at the moment)

As far as I’m aware there is no “hardcore mode” where did you get that idea?

Warrior is a decent starting class from what a lot of other players say I personally started with a warrior and enjoyed every second of it however if you fancy a Ranger then go for it

About the grinding I suppose the only major grinding you would need to do would be if you wanted a legendary.

I haven’t played the game a lot but I have only had two spammers trying to sell me gold who I just reported straight away also have a little more faith in this nice community 99% of people want to get their gold through farming dungeons ect it’s only a small minority of players who want to cheat their way to the top and normally after they have bought the gold they will

1. Leave the game after realising having amazing bought gear doesn’t equal skill
2. Get banned for bragging about buying gold (generally people who do buy gold aren’t clever)
3. Buy a load of items from the trading post giving real players the gold they bought for real money

I have no idea of the point of doing these I sometimes join to get my monthly or daily done but other then that I can’t see the point of doing them? I guess I’m missing out on something major here just wondering if you guys can tell me the point of champ runs.

If I have Healing Signet, Adrenal healing and 6 Runes of the Dolyak (Gain health Regen) will they all work? Sorry If I’m wording this badly but if I had all three of these up at the same time will I have three different health regens going on? or Will they cancel each other out? so I would only end up with Healing Signets Regen for example?

I am a relativity new player who at the moment is levelling a warrior and I will be going on the long grind for Twilight when I hit level 80 along side my friend who wants Sunrise and personally I look forward to it.

Maybe I will change my mind later but at this point in time I find the idea of getting one of the best weapons should take months of farming and grinding because if it was easy to get what’s the point of calling it a “legendary”

Also If anyone has any advice on getting the Twilight or Sunrise please could you let me know? I was thinking of getting 100% map completion first.

I might be seeing things totally wrong here but it seems to me at least you need to spend hours learning what to do in all the dungeons before you go into them or you get abuse thrown at you or you get kicked out

(I haven’t done a dungeon yet due to the fact I really don’t want to spend hours on my time looking at what to do for what boss ect ect)

I have looked at youtube videos of people doing the dungeons and they seem to just rush through them at max speed is this what dungeons in gw2 are? Doesn’t seem a fun way to play the game.

I’m probs totally wrong but from a newbies point of view dungeons seem to be for the elite or the 5 man premade groups only

There’s no need for this kind of support in dungeons, and you’ll be supporting more by killing the opponent quicker.

Oh So basically stick to WvW healer or get abuse thrown at me then ^.^

Not level 80 yet but when I hit it I’ll certainty give this build a go

Would it be possible to become a zerg healer? If I went full healer with Cleric’s gear with aoe condition removal aoe healing and some decent cc with the earth spells from the staff?

My first character was a elementalist but I found it too hard and deleted it and tried a warrior it was fun and I got it to level 80 then I tried a thief and really enjoyed being more squishy and having to be more careful then when I got that to level 80 I tried another elementalist and now I love it I believe warrior is a easier class to play and now I have more experience with the game I enjoy playing a character that really needs me to kite the enemy use my heals crowd control and burst damage to take something down. (also levelling a engineer and having fun with that too)

I think it comes down to how you like to play do you
1. CHAAARGE!!!! GREATSWORD!!!!!
2. FIRE STORM BUURRRRRN!!!
3. sneaky…..sneaky…BACKSTAB!!
ect ect I believe all classes are fun to play they are just really different in how you do things

Hi all I have levelled a charr warrior and now a norn thief to level 80 putting them into the Vigil and Order of Whispers so I now want to level a class for the Durmand Priory Storyline what class “fits” in with them? I have played an Elementlist and didn’t really like it so discounting that class whats left and what would fit in the most with joining the Durmand Priory

(Also I would like a ranged Class rather then Melee)

Admittedly I have only levelled a warrior to 80 and got a Elementalist to 35 but I can’t see any class being more fun then a Thief the ability to drop something’s health to 50% (or lower) in 2 hits is just so enjoyable! (normally I hate levelling characters in any game with a passion) it’s still super fun to go against a veteran monster and have to carefully link your skills together to make sure you avoid the right damage and still deal out a nice amount of damage yourself.

I might be a total noob at the game but for anyone who is thinking about levelling a Thief go for it! And hopefully you’ll find it as enjoyable as I do

Also Just want to give a shout out to everyone in game and on the forums who have helped me and answered my rather noobish questions about everything and anything

(My Thief is currently level 31)

Oh, invisible bags/safe boxes are very useful!

All you need is one 18 slot invisible bags/safe box as your last bag for each toon. This way you can carry all your class weapons and full set of different stat armour without worry.

Are they expensive the 18 slot Invisible bags? It’s just I don’t have a lot of gold to spend

I’m just wondering I have a Thief and I want to keep the Hood you get at level 1 all the way until level 80 but what happens if I sell/delete the hood by accident is there any way of getting it back?

Just started to level a thief and wondered if anyone has any advice on how to build it damage wise? Crit chance/crit damage or Condition Damage or just pure Power?

I’ve started to level a ranger and I really want to do WvW when I hit 80.

A few days ago I went into WvW with my warrior and as we attacked a Keep there was a ranger on the walls (maybe two) and they just spam used Barrage on us and it HURT so I’m wondering what causing Barrage to do so much damage is it pure power or Condition Damage?

Also what other weapon is good for defending when I’m on the walls as a ranger?

As the title said I have just started to level a ranger and I have seen/heard they can use melee weapons and to be honest I just don’t like the idea of a ranger/hunter class using melee weapons so would I be able to play with the LB/SB combo or is it just not good enough?

I recently hit level 80 and I’m still very new to the game when it comes to knowing what traits to get and what gear to buy/obtain so I thought I would come to the forums to ask you.

At the moment I’m trying to get all the Karma I need to get the rest of the Heavy Aurora set I have the leg and shoulder pieces and Last night I just made myself the Knight’s Destroyer Greatsword my traits I went with 25 in arms, 30 in tactics and the remaining 15 in discipline. (with the traits I basically went on youtube and typed in tanky dps trait build and copied a guy from there)

Basically… What Trinkets should I get? also where can I get them? I’m trying to go for a tanky/dps build as I just want to get 100% map completion so I want to be able to tank a few monsters at once while dealing some nice damage. Same with Traits I really don’t know what to get so if anyone has any information about that it would be amazing, my second weapon in a longbow (Also I don’t mind getting gold to buy good items from the Black Market ect but I don’t want to use karma to buy them if possible as I want to save that to buy more of the Aurora Karma Set)
