ok so i noticed that i take alot of damage with a handed. Will i take alot less damage if i start wearing a 1 handed + shield? Or do i just need to get adjusted to my skill set?
Cause i heard Guardians should be very hard to take down
Wich is a bit weird if u ask me, cause in most MMORPG’s (mages) they do alot of damage even early game
If none of those play-styles suit you, I would then suggest ele. They are harder to pick up for begginers, but a blast to play as D/D as you get to zip back and forth. They are hard at lower levels, and take a while killing things.
TLDR: Guardians are top tier in every game-mode, and not super-hard or complex.
alright. 1 last question though. Whats the diffrence between Vitality and Toughness (and yes i know Vit gives u extra health)
so far ojimaru has given me the best reaction. So a guardian what GS, do guardians (even with a GS) do good damage on lower levels?
So i just got back into the game. Lost my account info along the way..
But now i need some help with picking a profession that suits me well.
So here are a few things i need my profession to have:
- hard to kill (or not to easy anyway)
- doesnt take forever to kill 1 mob
- will not be useless in higher levels
- Decent PVP skills
- not very hard to play
Also for the profession i would like to know the crafting skills for it. Or rather what would be best to take with him/her.
Since im also pretty noob in this game. The stats needed would be nice to know aswell.
Never know if i should go Power (most professions) or also take other things like Vitality or something.. Im guessing most of these stats are all on the items anyway later on in the game..?
pretty sure its every server and that everyone has this problem. Just have to sit it out
so i just started an Elementalist. They seem a bit hard to play tbh, changing stances from 1 element to another.
But my real question is whats best to use, 2 handed staff? 1 handed item + a focus?
Also what to spent ure Traits on, wich spells are best to learn. Also should u just stay in 1 stance all the time? or should i try to level up every one of them?
I to have this problem, i can log-on to the website since my computer remembered it here. But i cant login into the game because i dont have my Serial key anymore

1. Were you satisfied with the Guild Wars 2 launch and your first week of play? Yes
2. As of today, do you think ArenaNet has done a good job of taking care of bugs, communicating with their customer base and making most players happy? Yes although to be quite frank im not sure about the bugs.
3. Are you still recommending Guild Wars 2 to friends? I would
4. If no new content has been released will you still be playing Guild Wars 2 six months from now? in 6 month’s? yea i would.
5. Overall would you say Guild Wars 2 delivers as the game you envisioned it to be? at first i was like its not that intresting and i liked WoW still more but ikitteneep playing and reach higher levels and unlock more things it gets better.

So i started a warrior today he’s lvl 10 atm but ive seen his Traits and skills and he seems more like a support character than a Offensive one, my question is what is his main role in fights?
ok, but do all proffs require Thoughness for example?
the thing is when u complete a Quest a get to choose between items. Either will it be leather/cloth/chain/plate the items have diffrent stats on them, depending on the class i chose i usually went for power or Vitality. What i was wondering is what does thoughness do?
Also what is condition damage? because ive seen weapons that instead op power or vitality and such have condition damage on them and have higher dps rating or better effects than my current item. But since i dont really know what condition damage is, i really dont know what to do with it.
So help is appreciated here

Made myself a Asura they look pretty cool. Didnt really expect it tbh
ok, so lets say i go GS + Staff do i just equip staff as Main and switch to GS if targets gets close?
I started today with a mesmer, but id like to know wich weapons to use. Also other strategy’s are nice to know.
Also wich crafting skills are recommendable?
All male why would i choose something i am not?
Definitly thanks
alrighty sounds fair, ill try to do that
Tnx
ok but since im new to all of this i dont really know where the other races start how can i find out?
Ive made it to level 6, done all the hearts and got all the TP’s and area’s located in the area that im in. Have made some of the Vista’s that i know how to get to and yet im not leveling up quite enough to keep up with my storyline.
Right now it seems i have to be level 8 to even be able to stay alive and do the damage that is needed to take the mobs down fast.
Ive tried going to next area’s but its not that easy since the mobs are 2 levels above me and basicly can 3 hit me to death.
My Question is what can i do in this situation, cause im lost.
yeah but they just keep coming back anyway Sadly
A game is more than just its level range.
well seems i should just level up and just craft/gather more things and then when im the appropriate level to do them i will do them :P
When i start leveling in the start zone i can enter instanced that say what level is recommended to enter although u can enter it at any level. But are those small instances really neccesary to be the level that is recommended as in should i level up if i need to be higher or should i just do them and follow the story as i go along?
Can some one who is kind enough post the professions and how they work..
Like Necromancer Deals damage but is Fragile E.g
Trying to find a good profession to start with as first character
