Love how it shows the difference between t1 and t anything else. Chaos and fookery vs. blob. Random fights inside of the big “zerg v zerg” fight.

For example the first part of the video is YB sieging Mendons. When SBI comes out in force to attack the siege it is done by brawling and skirmishing.

The OP was able to move in and out of heavy fighting areas (not that heavy) to engage in any of the multiple little fights happening during the “big fight”.

This is why I enjoy t-anything over t1.

Good fun. (although i hope Kain and YB get a more even matchup and we do not, getting beat up all week is a bit more fun then chasing 1 person by 10 or more all week).

The build is made to heal out of combat. Not to heal with healing signet.

When you need to you can disengage and get out of combat for the heal then run back in.

The team knows it as well so it is not a surprise when a warrior GS 3 →5 to get out of combat and come back full health.

Wilson’s build is not a bunker by any means. It is a hit and run build that can effectively harass larger groups. Full Zerk for fast kills with lots of mobility.

The last few comments seem to be people who dont understand this build or are holding onto triple axes or some other ridiculous build of last year.

Hello when I left the game they just added quivers (back item) and legendarys were not to common.

Best weapon or armor was crafted. I dont remember the color or name but it was what you can craft at 400.

What is the best weapons now? Ascended gear was the quiver I think but they had just released the 2 items. Ring too i think.

Is acended what I am looking for to be maxed out for wvw or what is it I am gunning for to be the same as most everyone else. I hope it is still my crafted armor plus few items.

is it still jade quarry or jade isle? to be fair jade quarry didnt need to be stacked this much with the guilds flocking to them left and right. now more gaps in the game have been created by the endless people going to jq. common logic would have been to spread it out. for the sake of balanced competition in the coming weeks most of those guilds should have gone blackgate etc creating a tougher environment and a eternal rotating tier 1 considering how much everyone seems to hate sos be on top and the attitude to sos being top dog for x amount of time and anger created by that why possibly create a cycle where jq is now that server to dislike and could be possibly top dog for x amount of time. Jq seem to be blindsided by the fact numbers were relatively even between jq and sos give or take coverage gaps pre transfer drama now kittens just crazy but still fun just would have liked to see more out of those guild leaders to promote the game further for more balance over a win now attitude at all cost. (in saying this its still early days and sos need to get to work after this holiday weekend i think the real test to get an idea how the future goes tho will be next weeks matchup then boasting from the jade quarry forum warriors can commence all they like)

Child please. JQ added more guilds/people in 2 weeks then SOS has in 3 months and most of those SoS guilds joined long before SoS was in T1. But then what else should I expect from JQ. They always overestimated our numbers, clearly could never see our coverage holes (2 hours my rear end), never saw the commanders who put in 12 hour to somedays 18 (Patone your nuts dude!) hour days, have always made excuses for our wins and trolled at every opportunity (including our recruitment threads when we never touched yours). I mean seriously how often were JQ battlelands completely controlled by JQ cause we just couldn’t send enough people to that map (a heck of a lot)…but no we had no coverage holes (rolls eyes).

So yes you’ll be the new winning server…but don’t expect respect the way you did it (well respect for some…but not the same trolls going on and on and on).

If the guilds had split a bit more evenly amongst BG/SoS/JQ we could have had a much more awesome T1 battle. Imagine where under 10k could be the total lead on a FRIDAY. Right down to the wire matches.

Maybe things will even out over the coming weeks as I know some guilds are last minute transferring in/out…but we shall see. I don’t care who wins….as long as the battle is very competitive. If this keeps up JQ’s going to blow away any of our 3k-22k point wins. Hopefully BG can stay more competitive during the week compared to the past couple to prevent that (good job by the way this weekend BG! Came out hard!).

What is WITH SBI? They constantly let SOS take everything in their map, yet they are so determined to take JQ HILLS and then they get 12 Golems to take Hills from JQ on SOS BL when it has paper gates. Sure they get a point boost for 15 mins, but doesn’t take long for SOS to take all their home towers, and JQ to take their own hills back. All night we focused SOS, it’s like SBI is convinced that they can’t beat SOS. This match should be really close right now but SBI just doesn’t seem to be in the game to win. More like they just have a hate for JQ. Shoot we arn’t even being double teamed ROFL SOS just sits on what they got while SBI ignores them.

GL JQ at this rate we will be #1 if we get a good enough spread on SBI we can put them in tier 2 so they can learn how to play the game again!

There are some very inflammatory posts still here, and yet you delete a post that is merely agreeing with a previous post about noticing a bug involving teleporting into a tower on accident.

Salute to a large group of people who can stand near 1 spot. I am not backwards praise. That is hard to get people to do. I do not think the turtle is end all genius (duh) but it is effective.

It is what makes mmo fun. creative genius. I am sure MMO makes like this not. Constant balance issue.

BUT being able to get a good sized group (zerg is demenaing) to be able to stand in spot in face of danger, over and over is good discipline group.

T1 is in a sad state. What a disappointment it will be for whoever replaces us next week.
Before we got to T1, I was hyped up for the challenge of facing what was believed to be the 2 best servers and thus, the best competition. Now, in the 3rd week, it is obvious this is not the case.

SBI – You aren’t winning because of superior tactics, better or more skilled players, or better leadership. Your zerg is just bigger than everyone else’s. An entire server basically riding the coattails of their 1 big pvp guild WM, and the fact they are the only server with any major oceanic presence. You’ve got people on your server who come to the forums bragging that their 30 man force drove back our 10 man force. Well, I’d certainly hope your 30 man squad could handle a whole 10 people, otherwise that would say a lot about the level of skill you possess. BG is basically fielding teams on BGBL and EBG. We have less than 20 people on JQBL or SBIBL at any given time, but these are the places you always hear about “SBI steamrolling BG”.
SBI also has the vast majority of the bandwagon WvW guilds that used to be on BG. Its been pretty obvious in the fights during NA primetime. So yeah, all those people you spent the first 2 weeks insulting..? Thats right, they’re on your server now.

JQ – If your leaders were even semi-intelligent, you all would be pushing hard against SBI, as the only way you all can come in first place this week is by denying them points. But this will not happen. JQ will once again put in minimal effort for the rest of the week to come in 2nd place, because fighting SBI (and I quote JQ players here) would be “too hard”. Thats a great attitude to have in a competitive setting.

So yes, enjoy your stay in T1, whoever is next in line for it. Any effort you put into siege and upgrading towers during the day will be for nothing as SBI’s korean presence will easily snatch up anything your skeleton crew is trying to defend. Thats not demoralizing at all. Putting time and effort into taking over a map for hours just to have all your effort go to waste when you have to go to sleep. That ,at be true, and if it is I’m impressed. However I still wouldn’t call you “smarter”. Zergs are awesome! Lot of targets. Lot of people. Some people zerg because they are scared to branch out and that is fine. I follow zerg when I am semi afk or i cant find good small fights.

I like Zerg to follow and then as they do their agenda I do mine (hunt the perimeters of the area we operating in).

Zergs are part of the most fun in MMOs open world. Zerg busting is also lot of fun, WAY more fun then zerg humping.

I understand why they asked me like that question. You guys can’t see us at WvW this weekend. We had an offline meeting – honestly, annual party- on this weekend, so most our members are too drunk to run for our mother land.

I don’t play a stealth class, so maybe I’m way off, but the last day or two It’s seemed as though there has been a bit of delay when I try to use certain abilities. Most noticably my heal skill, and auto attack. Feels like I have to press the key and hold it for a second before they’ll actually work, when just a couple days ago a quick tap did the job.

Not sure, but it could be something to watch for if you’re having stealth problems.

This is exactly my experience last few days. I thought maybe just a little lag. I have thief and warrior i play in WvW and i felt the number 5 key (charge and c&d) were both sluggish to respond. Utilities too. I didnt have much of problem 1-4 that i recall but 5 which is escape for both toons had to be pushed twice.

Yes, JQ is on the bridge and not sure why to go there. But they like and we fights. Sneaky Blackgate see we distracted and help knock down weak heart wall that JQ was also trebbing.

THAT is heads up play. We, SBI, lost the tower. To smarter forces. Yes BG used JQ but that is what makes DYNAMIC play more fun then cough PvE or instanced PvP (structured), arena.

I was one of the people hoping for a different matchup this week. I suppose its my own fault for not understanding the rating system. I had just assumed whatever server was #3 moved down a tier so I thought JQ was gonna be swapped out for someone else.

The weekend was fun and we hung in pretty well for the first few days but then the next day I log on and SBI has like a 25k lead. Overnight. Apparently the majority of our late night/early morning crew transferred off.

Still had some fun fights, but it seemed like every time I went to any battleground we were -vastly- outnumbered. Except for EBG of course, which almost always had a queue.

I hope we fight someone different next week. I dont even care who. Just anyone not JQ or SBI. No offense intended, but 2 weeks of the same two opponents just isnt very interesting. I haven’t really played much this week because of it.

Oh by the way, go see Skyfall. Its pretty awesome.

I agree we need more strong hearts to fight. Weak hearts who quit after weekend warrior glory make it not fun. IoJ should come back they fought. 3 Strong heart servers make more fun then 2.

As for the 2v1 comments, it can happen sure. But a pre-arraigned deal, lol WTF you smoking. JQ and SBI has too much bad blood from the beginning to call a truce. Even if large guilds tried to, it’d get shattered by smaller guilds.

As far as SBI goes, I have enjoyed most of the fight with them (can’t say the same for JQ). And WM does well and is truly a challenging fight. I have noticed a few times where WM killed someone and did a /laugh emote or jumping on the corpse, which is really bad sportsmanship in my opinion. It only happened to me once, but it left a sour taste in my mouth. I have seen exploiters on every server including my own, it is a definite problem. But yeah, good luck out there, lets keep it fun and fair.

I am sure this was not WM. I am the only person on SBI that /points and /laughs at dead corpses. I do all the time.

I am running with over 3000 armor in WvW, However thieves are still the only class that can hack my health down like no other. In fact I can even eat a hundred blades and get less damage then what thieves can do just spamming abilities. Their glass cannon is like no other it puts out way too much burst.

tl;dr thieves still doing much burst damage compared to other classes

L2P is really all that can be said. Whining in games to get it to format what you want do is bad form. This is not RIFT or SWToR where they are so confused as to what to do that they check the forums and take/change things with no long term goal.

They (anet) will delete anything they dont like but these kind of threads are just sad.

Every single class has an OP build or some kind of OP skill or something. Every single one. Learn them.

Also anyone who calls out a SERVER for hacking is in the wrong. If you think about it, I bet every server has at least one hacker/botter. A INDIVIDUALS actions do not represent a server as a whole. Congrats to SBI for being able to convince IoJ to be their lapdogs and settle for third. I’m not sure how you pulled that off, but man, that’s some serious politics you all have going. Honestly, convincing a whole server to settle for last to help you get first… I’m impressed.

No we don’t. I guarantee you that 50% of SBI absolutely wants nothing to do with First place. You can continue to try and pat yourself on the back pretending you are winning against an equal force using superior skills but you are only convincing yourself. I am giving no excuses for why SBI is losing im just saying you are more full of yourself than anyone you are trying to shoot down.

So I guess its the other 50% who got 60% of the map and all 3 orbs in the wee hours?
Are you actually now admitting-for your server-that you play for 2nd place?
Furthermore are you saying that SBI can in fact beat JQ anytime they want, but they don’t solely for the reason that they do not want to have the transfers to their server?

Bandwagon guy, we have been fight for every week. Sometimes other server dont show up and big bandwagon server beat us up. Since day one. We there. We fighted. No transfers bandwagon people.
