Sadly by now the hackers prolly know about the workaround and are DDoS’ing these too :-(

I main a Guard/DH. The Staff is your loot stick, it does not do a lot of damage and certainly is DPSless but useful in WvW for tagging enemy players and getting lots of loot bags. I certainly would not recommend it for Raids. GS/Hammer or GS/Scepter focus for better DPS, although I have found the hammer to be quite a slow weapon. My 2 cents worth.

So last night I was playing around with different shouts in WvW to see what works the best. I have Save Yourselves, Retreat and Hold the Line equipped. If I use Hold the Line first, Save Yourselves cannot be used and is on the same cooldown as Hold the Line.

If I use Save Yourselves first, I am able to use Hold the line after that without any issues.

I just found that interesting, and wondered if anyone encountered this or know the reason for this?

Stronghold of Ebonhawke. Got all the crafting, TP and Banking I would ever need all down one road.

You also have the option to run a WvW reward track and get it that way, although I do not know your stance towards WvW

Have you tried to get to the jungle without being in the instance? I.e. in the normal PvE world? AFAIK you have to complete the first part of the personal story to access it. Perhaps because you glitched, you may need to redo that part of things

And don’t forget that in order to refine Bloodstone dust, Dragonite ore and Empyreal Fragments, you need to be Weaponsmith 500, and you’re going to need a lot of Obsidian shards for that as well. 2 per ingot if memory serves

This actually makes me think of a game I played may years ago, I now forget which one it was. BUT you could use Winamp in the game and play your own music. Maybe something they can look at in the future, they probably won’t, but hey, a guy can hope

the worst part is, and I do even agree with you Shaman, they will give you skimpy female armor, which I don’t have anything against, but cover the butt. The exact same armor on males, does not have a buttcape. This is not true for all of them, but you can see where I am going with this

I think they should have a Buttcape/No buttcape toggle option. Same armor, just with or without.

You are probably not missing anything. Hardened leather drops are supremely low, hence the price of it on the TP. I can only suggest doing a Cleric farm in BF (assuming you have HoT) and Bitterfrost events, even then, you are not guaranteed to get what you want, but you do stand a (slightly) better chance.

You can also do a Cleric farm in BF, although not guaranteed, you stand a better chance to get the mats when you salvage them

Thank you for the clarification, I actually see where I went wrong here. The only switching is the actual maps, and not to the lobby subgroup, you just drag yourself there.

So I have been doing ML for a while now, and here’s how I understand the works:

1. You do your map, and loot.
2. You then drag your icon to the lobby, and switch to that map.
3. You then switch to another map, and drag your icon to the map you just joined.

Rinse and repeat.
I get kicked for doing this, so I assume it is incorrect.

Although it is on point 3 I need some clarification.

Is point 3 correct or should it be done in the same way as point 2?
The reason for me asking is if you do it the same as point 2, you risk losing the map – happened to me on a ML.

This is simply because the player waiting to be relieved sees someone on his map, and leaves, while you are still moving to the map.

Subsequently the map is lost.

The other issue I have noticed, is that when you move to the lobby, you sometimes belong to an already active map, and not the lobby map itself, and you get kicked.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

I’m with you on this one. I love both worlds, and there’s always something to do somewhere. And like you, it taught me some situational awareness, something you could basically ignore in core Tyria.

only saw your post now, the necklace is the only spot that cannot take it. It can only take the enhancement thing these days, so you’ll have to go and buy these. At level 25 even if you do +4 (in total across your trinkets e.g. +1 +1 +1 +1) you’ll still ake a fair amount of damage, as I believe you need something like 17 agony resistance to take 1% damage per tick. If you have less than 17 AR for this level, the damage you take will be more

I stand corrected, but as far as I know, they only go into Ascended trinkets. I do not know if since the patch they can be applied to armor as well. You can buy the ascended trinkets from a WvW laurel vendor.

If you are talking about whether you need to activate them once it is needed, you don’t. They work similar to armor, it is just a stat that blocks agony given to you. If you are talking about how to obtain them, well you can buy them off the TP at quite expensive prices, or you can wait for them to drop from the fractals themselves

Like zakuruchi said, pure XP, DS. I cannot comment as to the amount of gold that you’ll get from it. Personally I would suggest AB, you are almost guaranteed a meta every 2 hrs, 27 chests to loot on the successful meta, plus you can multi loot on this map – i.e. you can jump between successfully completed meta maps and loot even more – and around 350K XP from the meta if my maths does not fail me

Is it just me, or no matter how many of these I collect, my inventory never shows more than 4? I was looting in AB not 10 minutes ago, and saw the loot 25 milling stones come up. yet my inventory, and over all stash did not reflect any of these changes (25 minimum) once I went to a crafting station. Bug??

Like the tile says, has anyone else been experiencing bugs on the pylon missions? Last night the Skritt feast wouldn’t let us continue because apparently we didn’t kill all the badies, and today the Bramble Main stalk pulled a Gandalf on us, YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!! The main wall entering the area wouldn’t disappear. Or is it just me?

As the tile suggests, I was just a bit disappointed today by this. I am not bashing HoT or any of the core game, I love both. It was just a bit of a let down that for something that is essentially a skin, sure with selectable stats, is hidden behind the Nunoch Language. I’m just gonna have to do some missions to get that, fair enough, and on the other hand I suppose it beats paying X amount of gold for it :-)

I was just thinking, yeah, that was what that smell was, shouldn’t there also be an LFS (Looking For Squad) built into the LFG tool? I must apologise if this exists and I have just not seen it.

I have to say I like the idea. Would definitely make things easier than having to go and select everything everytime

I would like to see the following in Silverwastes:

Like the progress bar that is displayed up until a Breach happens, I would like to see the same for the Meta bosses, in this case it would be their health bars, that comes along with the Breach e.g. one for the Copper Husk one for the Teragriffs etc. It would make it a lot easier to see who needs help at what stage. Not really necessary for the VineWrath champions, but would be a nice to see.

Perhaps even see the timers for different forts as well.
