Check out this thread, it is most likely Verizon as I had a similar issue. The second comment by Masterdarkjedi is the workaround.

Just doesn’t seem like enough anymore. I’m going to miss it surely, but when I consider the alternatives it just seems silly to stick with it. I could even go with DPS runes in my defensive gear and I can’ help but think I’d be getting better returns overall.

This update did far more to promote the DPS mindset than it did to discourage it. It’s sad that they took one of the few really good non DPS options and destroyed it.

I’ve been running 20/20/0/0/30 for some time now as a power/hybrid shatter build with GS+SW/F. I used to run GS/Staff bunker in the beginning, and the crazy mobility was always a lot of fun. I keep considering going back, but I feel like the lack of focus speed/reflect might be a hindrance. I did pick up some Pack runes yesterday to help with swiftness… they look pretty interesting. Maybe I’ll find a GS/Staff build that calls to me in all these discussions!

I was just thinking about this as I wanted to switch a backpiece on one of my characters to different stats, but I have a relatively expensive exotic orb in it and the item was bought with karma. I have used stones exclusively to switch around runes from un-salvageable gear in the past… this change is definitely a disappointment and a hindrance to anyone wanting to simply try different stats or have a new look.

I’m pretty disappointed that Anet won’t be there in any form I was hoping they’d do the small panel thing like last year, but even that seems to be missing. I played WildStar (tried anyway) last year and the demo was broken to hell. I also felt like my concerns/comments about the game weren’t taken seriously by the devs at the booth because of my gender… ooh heeeeey, I got a free shirt though :|

Q: What if we deleted certain ascended trinkets recently that were bound to a deleted character? Is there any way that we can get these back? I assume the answer is “no,” and I’ve put in a ticket to confirm, but just wondering.

And I’m assuming we don’t get any sort of compensation for trinkets we deleted (due to switching stats on a character, etc.) :/ Kicking myself now…

I think the new female Norn styles are great, especially the braided pigtails and the messy side bun. Not 100% on the side pony-tail look… seems a bit “pretty” and more of a human style. Still like it though!

I, too, have been crashing constantly in big fights ever since the new Tequatl. If I lower my settings to medium I’m usually ok, but if I even turn just shaders on high I will 100% crash at some point during a large event. I have updated my graphics drivers (460gtx) and repaired the game. I’m tempted at this point to re-install the game completely, but it actually frustrated me to the extent that I stopped playing for a few months. I came back with the new LA content hoping it would be fixed, but it still happens. How can we get help regarding this issue?

Yeah, while I like that they are available, I traded in my final jade ticket last week on the warhorn to make some space… I would have preferred 100g. Doesn’t seem very fair to change them months after the event.

Maybe Scarlet made them abandon their owners in her attempt to create a watchknight army!

Honestly TC is TOO full. All champ farming circuits (namely Orr/Frostgorge) are so packed with players that if you WP and take more than 3 seconds to load, whatever mob people are killing will most likely be dead before you touch it. I usually guest to less populated servers.

I’m very happy with my characters… now. I invested a lot of time and resources into my Norn guardian to never be 100% satisfied, and I kept thinking that “If I get this armor set, maybe she will look right.” But it never happened. I finally said hell with it and rolled a new race, salvaged most everything off my Norn, and have no regrets (except maybe about her 3 ascended pieces). Once I get all the resources off my Norn (skillpoints, etc.) I will most likely delete her.

For anyone who is not happy with their race and aesthetics in an aesthetically-based game, just re-roll. You’ll be happier in the end, even if the character is 80 with t3.

I think he/she is mentioning this because the lesser versions have boon duration. It’s been that way forever, although I always wondered why.

I gave up on race change after waiting several months and investing money into a character I didn’t really enjoy aesthetically. She doesn’t have any extra bag slots, nor map completion. I did, however, drop ~50g on t3 pieces. But… it’s a game. I can make the money back, so I’m re-leveling as a different race and will delete my norn when I have used all her skillpoints and transferred all her rare skins.

If race change was available, yeah, I 100% would have bought it. But I got tired of waiting.

I, and others I’m sure, would love to be able to spend gems on an item that lets the player transfer a select number of dyes to a different character. Perhaps an item that would let you pull out a color from Character A’s dye screen, which would then make it account bound. I feel something like 100-150 gems per dye transfer wouldn’t be unreasonable for those looking to switch higher-end dyes over.

I had 36/38 before the puzzle, and this number remains the same.

I personally like p1 of HotW – it’s fast and the armor from the tokens looks nice on a variety of classes (if you don’t spend them to get the rare gear for ectos).

In a search for armor for my Norn female, I have noticed that the dye paths for the female vs. male armor are different for Honor of the Waves heavy. The metal design on the front of the pants for females is on the same path as the skirt part, making it difficult to match materials (for male characters, these pieces are separate). Are the female pants supposed to have 4 dye paths? I’ve attached pictures (not my characters, I found them on the dyejobs subreddit) showing the part I am talking about.

You can get the Acolyte exotic gear on the TP, Traveler’s version which is the same stats, for cheaper.

I cannot load Stonewright’s Steading in Hoelbrak AT ALL. I’ve tried numerous times and it just sits at the loading screen.

You can buy the skin on the TP for 50 silver per piece or less. This is the light armor version (Acolyte) – it’s not unique.

Also can confirm, the light armor is exactly like the lvl 76-80 Acolyte set. I had the hat drop, previewed it, sold it (I will be angry if they retroactively change this skin).
