Yes you are, but there are two [FEAR]s here. Stealth is, or was, on BG and is Eyefinity Champion[FEAR]. SoR’s [FEAR] is Feelings Aren’t Required. Spying or not-I don’t care either way-Stealth has enjoyed posting our TS MotD a few times and is generally a forum troll. Sometimes funny, other times boring.

The only downside is that roaming doesn’t seem to happen in this tier. I never find one BG or SoR guy by themself. JQ was the same way when we faced them a few weeks back. Does T1 have designated 1v1 areas/times? (Not talking gvg, guild isn’t really into that.)

There’s no organized Fight Club like some other servers have hosted in the past, but there definitely are some roaming groups of 3-5 for camp flipping and yak slapping. Typically just wait for a timer that is about to expire in a camp and I’m sure you’ll find an SoR or BG havoc squad nearby getting ready to flip it.

Both servers use solo scouts throughout the map but they are typically used more for Zerg trailing or force finding rather than single 1×1 engagement. When I’m doing it, I typically avoid any engagement all together as I’m trying to trail an enemy group or locate one, rather than getting caught up in a fight myself.

Be quiet, there’s no such thing as a fight club here or anywhere! There is no fight club!!

Good thing i’m the one who kicks people from guild Either way you’re making a large assumption that I don’t have fun in wvw. It’s fun to kill people, and I prefer an unpredictable environment as opposed to cap the point. I don’t have delusions that this game takes skill to play like most people here though. try running with only 20-30 (no pugs, no commander tag, ONLY 20-30 BT)
then fight groups with 50-70 (guilds such as: TW, Choo, Agg, SF, WARD, FEAR)

If it still takes no skill and you wipe those groups just as easy, I will disband my guild.
I will need video proof, and I will need to see the following: Ally names, this means you do not just display your party members name / Visual of your Map (Do not blur it out)
And show the # of people on your Teamspeak / guild list.

Dude! Pens haven’t played. Some other team has played. With that said, they need a statement game for game 3 or that series is done. Boston has played on point/clutch! Pens can win if they show up and play fundamental hockey and stop trying to beat the Bruins by being the Bruins (getting physical). They also need to stop the stretch passes with the 2-3 defense the Bruins are playing. Crosby was a freakin’ embarrassment in Game 2 and Letang has played worse than a Peewee kid all series.

I predicted this series being 6 games and Pens winning. I still stick by Pens winning, but it’ll prob. be 7 games now. I’ll know after tonight’s game.

As for LA/Chicago, I predicted a 6 game series with Chicago winning it. L.A. is tough to beat at home, but not unbeatable.

Isn’t LA undefeated at home in the playoffs this year and last? I’m not sure the Hawks will win, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see that series go 7 games. Both teams are very talented and deep.

Not too surprised about the Pens tho, their defense and especially goaltending have been suspect in the last two years of playoffs. Crosby definitely didn’t look himself in the last game, aside from the gamesmanship bs he’s quite well known for, and I don’t think the team as a whole has played to their potential. Islanders came very close to winning their series and, honestly, the Senators got lucky in drawing the Canadiens in the first round. Montreal played decent throughout the year, but really seemed to tail off towards the end of the regular season. We’ll see though, the Pens have it in them to win the series, but I don’t think that’s gonna happen.

Thanks for the renewed focus and fighting so far, BG and JQ, it’s a nice change of pace from the past few weeks. I was pretty happy to log in about 4hrs ago to our garrison in enemy hands and attacks from JQ and BG all over the place. Good times in SoR hills, too, BG, us taking it from you felt up in the air til the very end.

I have gotten use to the Poor NA attitude in fighting on BG, we have some good guilds but yet we go out manned everyday on maps and we are not getting people on to work together. I have also gotten use to the Double Team, and to the JQ person askign why are BG and JQ not Double teaming SoR welll good question. I am sure SoR would love to have the challenge

Sounds like a core problem within BG. I agree with the poster above that BG probably has absorbed a lot, if not the most, wvw orientated guilds of the 3 servers yet their performance does not show. It seems that the entire atmosphere of BG is toxic. You need a strong leader to step up to re-organize the server or the current active wvw guilds should start over somewhere else to be quite frank. It’s obvious the current “eat up as many servers/guilds as possible and we’ll be ok” strategy isn’t working for BG.

That being said, if it requires a 2v1 against SoR, then it requires a 2v1 against SoR. I think most Rallians are used to being the underdog by nature, so a 2v1 would bring that back for them since that’s where they thrive.

You have to realize that where BlackGate has a lot of WvW guilds we have a lot of PvE and PvX guilds. Which might I add also tends to out number the WvW guilds. Even though they should never really matter, some of the WvW guilds are fair weather and negative to a lot of things and eventually that ends up affecting other guilds. I would love to be rid of them but what can we do, hopefully we can eventually get rid of them only time will tell.

That’s a core issue then to be frank. Look at the list which I posted. You could probably even make the argument that BG has the most WvW guilds of any server in any tier and yet they still go out trying to buy guilds over to their server. You should do the right thing and send some of these guilds to other servers that need them more(ie JQ for T1 or FA for T2) and work out your issues within your server. It’s obviously not a population or coverage issue that BG has.

Two different people who play on BG have come outright in the last 2 pages and said you have issues over there. I’m just analyzing it. If you have a problem, talk to your fellow BGers. I’m sure they are pumped to be a part of the push that is putting you guys over the top, but they are accounting for 90% of the BG chest pounding in this thread.

RISE is a fine addition to BG and they have worked hard for the past two weeks. Without the great effort from them and other ex-KN guilds, BG would never achieved what we achieved today. I think you guys are being overly harsh on RISE just because they were a little bit too excited on the forum. Above all they are still new to the tier and don’t have the full grasp of the etiquettes and love hate relationship between the three servers yet.

Just make sure you all let RISE know that you owe them everything, for you’d be still wallowing in second and third place without them. Guilds that powerful should be deferred to when it comes to who does what weekly, which maps they get, etc. It might even be nice of you all to slip them some free siege equipment to facilitate their ability to carry you all over the top. It’s obvious that BG is on the RISE.

I don’t mind the changes. Yes, it is a distraction from open-field fighting, but why shouldn’t you be expected to stay on your toes with what you hold? And siege only de-spawns if you don’t touch it-another inconvenience, perhaps, or an attempt on their part to alleviate siege-capping and the saboteurs we were all complaining about just recently. As far as arrow carts, weren’t we also complaining that it was too easy to flip towers and keeps? Throw down a few carts, man them, and this problem seems to have been addressed. Do they put out too much damage? Maybe, but now, with a ceiling in mind, they can adjust as necessary.

I guess we shall not classify the fight at Bay as a victory then since you sat on the south outer wall for ~30 minutes before charging in and getting wiped, and then another 15 minutes spent destroying our siege before charging in again before wiping us the first time? Forty-five minutes is surely too long for that encounter to be considered a victory.

So, as you said, you camped out in our spawn tower for a considerable amount of time while we from SoR gathered around outside, not daring to really push inside. I guess you take us for idiots; we’ve seen what your guild is capable of in such enclosed spaces and resolved to instead draw you out into the open field. The fight in Bay, not an hour earlier, was a good reminder if we’d forgotten-we repelled you quite handily once and were then overwhelmed by your guild’s devestating efficacy within small spaces. That in mind, why should we have charged into the tower? The smarter route would be the one we opted for, where we could deny your strength and rely on ours. Hardly seems like a bad idea, considering how events turned out.

What, exactly, is the relevance of the proximity of our spawn point? You chose to fight there, did you not? Since you seem to be fully aware of this fact, I do not understand why you continue to hold it up as an unfair advantage. I can assure you we would have pursued you across the map, even to your spawn point.

Finally, what makes your definition of GvG more relavent? We had conventions, same as you do, and matters agreed upon beforehand. Doesn’t sound much different, aside from numbers. It’s kinda like arguing the difference between sPvP and WvW-same idea but different tactics.

EMP looks silly in the video because they are running & dying… TW looks silly on the forums because they arent GvGs…

That was the point of the video. This is right after EMP declined our GVG for a 3rd time. So we decided to find them and farm them. It was stated previously, but i am sorry if you were not privy to that information.

A couple of comments:

1. Any video that uses Tool for the music automagically makes it exponentially better to watch.

2. VotF runs a pretty tight and effective blob ball, not sure how it is fun to play that way, but they make it work better than most.

Thanks, it was a close call between Aenema and The Grudge. In the end, I thought Aenema was a better fit. Maybe I’ll use The Grudge next time.
