Just keep killing mobs, enemy players, npcs and so on.
A decent magic find % might help as well.

I never thought I would ever get a precursor drop even if I have been playing every day for more than 2.5 years until 2 days ago when I got one from an NPC at one WvW keep.

I couldn’t even land a single crit on Teq earlier, and I already tried all the possible hit boxes.
Also, I don’t think Teq needs 2x HP. 1.25-1.5x HP increase should be fine.
I guess no daily 2 golds from Teq until Anet fixes it.

Same thing happened to me.
Now, I’m able to login, but I got some rolled back.

Guild panel is messed up.

The guild I’m repping is not placed on the top one.
Usually, it will automatically place the guild I’m repping on the top.

Example before patch:
Guild A (The one I’m repping)
Guild B
Guild C
Guild D

Example after patch:
Guild B
Guild A (The one I’m repping)
Guild C
Guild D

However, there is a twist.
Occasionally, the list will magically rearrange back to the correct order as the one prior to today’s patch, BUT all of sudden the guild chats from all the guilds I’m not repping start showing up as if I’m repping all the guilds at the same time.

I tried to log off, and now the list is back to the incorrect order.
Oh well, at least, I don’t see all guild mixed-up chats showing up on my chat because that was very spammy.

I usually don’t really care about AFK-ers because they rarely ruined the breach and VW, but there have been more and more AFK-ers tonight, especially during VW.

From tonight alone, I’ve encountered 3 VW failures due to losing too many siege carriers, which were resulted from too many AFK-ers and the map was full.

Many mobs on the lane with those AFK-ers got scaled up to lvl 82 to 84.
Not many players was protecting the carriers or refilling ammo, and even if there were a few active players trying to protect the carriers and refilling the ammo, they got wiped by so many scaled-up mobs.

Furthermore, there were more and more people going AFK during VW boss fight after they tagged the boss several times.

Shorter time out for AFK-ers would be great.

Found my new guild already.

I always did these steps to free my character from the EotM forever loading screen:

1. Close client completely
2. Login to the game again with a different (non-stuck) character
3. Stay on and walk around with that character for about 2-3 minutes
4. Log out from the game (not the character selection)
5. Repeat step 2
6. Go back to character selection screen and choose the stuck character

Same here. For me, it was EotM map.
Since 3 hrs ago, I kept getting stuck on loading screen whenever I entered EotM.
Been playing EotM the entire afternoon just fine until around 9:30 pm PST, when the bug started to happen.

Same thing happened to one of my characters on Silverwaste.
Other characters are fine, but when I login to that specific character, I got disconnected right away.
Also, my bugged character has 0% map completion now as if she doesn’t exist….

Could we get bunny ears during Christmas/New Year sale please, Anet?
Many of us here have been waiting for almost a year for the bunny ears T__T

I tried that method, but my computer didn’t give me an option to run the “hosts” notepad file as an administrator even if I am the only one using this computer.

Maybe, I need to do it under safe mode, but since some other people who have tried it still have 0-25 kbps, nvm. I won’t change anything on my system32 files.

EDIT: Nvm, I found a way to let me modify hosts file as an admin without using safe mode.
Yes, I confirm that the fix is safe and it works. I can login now.

I have the same issue, too.
It’s stuck at 0 kbps. Also, I can’t close the client using the X button, so yea had to use “End Process” button from Task Manager >.<;;

This noon, the client patched just fine, but apparently there was another update that caused this 0 kbps patching issue…..

I was so hyped when I saw Evon’s Halloween sale on my patch window, hoping that bunny ears will be on sale, too.

Alas, still no bunny ears…… >.<;;

Also, I’d like to see Rabbit/Bunny Minis Pack that contains 3 different colors of rabbits in GW2 (black rabbit, brown rabbit, white rabbit).

I’d like to confirm this bug.

I’ve tested it 3 times (2 times on Tuesday and 1 time yesterday), and Black Citadel option still teleported me to Lion’s Arch.

Well, somehow, last night, BL people on the particular map were fascinated by Kodans (not me as I dislike bears, and so I refused to transform into that white bear lol).

It was neither really organized or disorganized. Just a bunch of Kodan’s fans being together on the same map lol

Yup, I agree that the map is beautiful yet dangerous as you can die easily there from falling off the map.

However, it’s also a hilarious map to see how many deaths can happen from any of these occasions:
1. Getting feared.
2. Getting knocked back/tossed.
3. Failing the jump/missing the ledge by 1 millimeter when jumping.
4. Failing to stop the auto run promptly due to lag, pressing M to watch the map, typing, or some other distractions.

Methinks, this is the right/wise/fair decision even if it’s kinda late.
It could have been better/wiser/fairer if season 2 was never started until everyone gets their rewards from season 1.

So, Anet, please don’t start a new season if there are some unsolved issues/bugs lingering from the previous season to avoid this kind of mess.
