Well, if we have to spam click to enter WvW, our fingers will be really tired by the time we enter WvW, especially if our luck/internet speed is horrible, which means we gotta spam click longer to get into WvW.

Yeah, basically, all WvW achievements should be considered for the ability to purchase WvW commander tag.

Meanwhile, the PvE players can still have and show off their tag in PvE area ONLY by purchasing it for 100 golds.

IMO, they should have separated the commander icons in PvE from the commander icons in WvW.

The ones usable in PvE can be purchased using 100 gold or badges or whatever, but the ones usable in WvW can ONLY be purchased using badges.
This way, we will have less PvE/inexperienced commanders in WvW.

Even worse, I’ve seen multiple times that some PvE-ers use their commander tags to show off in WvW, without intention to lead and organize people, and when the WvW commanders asked them to turn off their tag, they will refuse to do so just because they have spent 100 gold for it…. /facepalm

Good thieves, who don’t depend on perma-stealth, won’t get affected much, but the bandwagon thieves, who depend a lot on the perma-stealth and only dare to attack/bully upleveled players or troll the citadels, will get affected.

This update is a good move to separate the good thieves from the bad/bandwagoned/failed ones.

Well, let’s remove everything from WvW, then WvW will become a peaceful place, where everyone lives in harmony.
No more killing, nothing will be overpowered anymore, no more nerfing this and that, etc.

I don’t think everyone will be a commander in 6 months from now because:

1. Not everyone wants to be a commander. People differ in personality. Some like to lead, some like to follow. Also, some others love to do their own thing in their small groups.
2. Some people prefer to buy other stuffs with their 100 golds instead of wasting it on a commander icon.
3. There are some people unable to get 100 golds saved after 6 months because they have spending habit.

I’ve witnessed twice an enemy player lying next to someone under a high cliff, and both of them were dead, which made them look like Romeo and Juliet lol

Solution: Improve your multi-task skill. Pick up those loots while battling the enemies.
It’s really not that hard to do.

I have no problem picking up my trail of loots during battle while I’m attacking enemies at the same time, as long as my bag is not full.

Otherwise, just ignore the loots completely if you’re so into killing the enemies. Easy.

We made some very intentional changes to the way we calculate loot. One of the effects of this change is that there is more loot dropping in WvW. Yay! Increasing the loot in WvW was one of our goals and we’re glad that it’s making some of you happy. Also, just to be sure that we were comfortable with the impact it had on loot in WvW we had our economist do some analysis of the drop rates in WvW after this patch. After looking at his results we’re still comfortable with the changes. On a personal note, I was very happy to get a much better badge drop rate when I played yesterday

The drop rate for wanted items from those evil gamble boxes is usually very low =(
