It is killing the game.

If you play against a server like AM you don’t find anything to fight until the “outmanned sign” pops up. That’s when you know their monsterblob has decided to come and PVD the borderland.
T3 keeps are usually being ignored. The blob just stays as long as it is unattacked or when they captured everything. In most cases they capture the whole bl before the defenders are organised enough to fight.
More and more servers are just running one big blob these days and it’s getting very boring very fast.
No roamers, no fights, just doors, sad excuse of PVP.

If your guild could stop zerging and camping every duelist in the obsidian sanctum arena that’d be great. That way everybody gets to have their fun.

We’ve been there once with a full group a month ago, not sure what you’re talking about.

It might be the borderland buff, the strenght in numbers from the guardian or the rank buffs. And I only have 2 ascended berserker jewels. The rest is a bit of a mix because I’m low on laurels atm. And most of the footage is late in the week, so you have to keep the server buffs in mind.

Is the music that horrible for you guys? xD
I’ll keep that in mind, and thanks for the feedback, I understand the start can be quite annoying but I thought it was funny :/

I just watched it with other background music on. I like it, I am playing condi nec now and am looking to change sometimes with a power build. Would you reccomend your build for anything else but small groups?

This build only works when carried by groupsupport. As you can see, I’m always running around and trying not to get focussed and at the same time the guardians try to give me heals and boons whenever they can. The regroups are essential too as they let me recover when I’m low on health.

I tried soloing with 30/10/0/0/30 (with “enfeebling blood” instead of “well targeting” and “spectral walk” instead of an extra well) You can make it work when you “Dark Pact” a target close to you, put a well under your kitten and go butcher on the mofo.
You’ll drop fast when targetted by a thief and under pressure by something else tho.
In a zerg you’ll drop as soon as you get caught.

I’ve recorded some footage of me and the Tchuu Tchuu bunch.
We are a small guild that try to find similiar sized groups to fight with. These days smaller roaming squads are hard to find in the MID-tier EU bls. So we pretty much engage whatever we see. But sadly, we’ve been outnumbered, chased around, ganked, corpsejumped and laughed at

Keep small scale alive! It’s so fun. :]

Zerker is fun for ganking smaller groups with a slightly bigger group. As long as you can freecast those numbers are awesome!
When focussed you’ll die without being able to do major damage or you’ll go sittingduck plague style to just postpone your faith a little.

Complete bs. If the group you’re facing has some sustain you won’t be able to drop one just like that. The zerker target they focus will always die first imo.

Seriously these guy who are QQ’ing because they’re getting stomped,or laughed,or danced on…you do realise that you are possibly having that done to you by an inexperienced WvW player???? They more than likely are unaware of this ****UNOFFICIAL**** WvW etiquette.Even so the funniest thing about it all though is that you’re actually having that done to you by a WvW Nab! hahahahahahaha that makes it even funnier.

If you get angered by players killing you,then stomping you,then laughing at you,then dancing on your corpse then do not play WvW,Simple as,Just because the more experienced of us do not do these things doesn’t mean that everyone shouldn’t do it and seriously if you’re stupid enough to allow your character to hang around dead in the middle of the battlefield when you could quite easily release to the nearest WP who is really to blame!…………yourself!

I’ve had it done to myself many times,Guess what? I couldn’t give two hoots if they do it,Part of the game,Get up,brush off the dirt and get back onto the killing grounds.

If these things weren’t allowed in game then why did Anet code them into WvW? (Not that I am personally condoning it but after all it is part of the game)

Get a grip guys seriously,If all you can do after losing (well giving up if we’re honest) is find things to slate Desolation you really need to grow a pair! At the end of the day none of your complaining/whining or moaning (and you lot are experts at this,You’re even worse than my wife and that’s saying something!) is going to get you that lovely silver Dolyak finisher Which I am going to have so much pleasure shoving on top of your dead characters next time we meet.

Tchuu had a great fight last night, we salute the nwo ele that kept trying

We figured out now there’s a “Deso factor” you have to take in account when engaging Deso. It goed like this:
The fight starts quiet even but after 30s you add 4 more ennemies and 30s laters you multiply the whole number by 2.
I don’t know how you guys do it but it’s quite amazing.

The way you can play as a necromancer has changed with the chainstuns and prolonged duration of immobilize.
No way you’re going to survive without stunbreaker these days. The only thing that saves you in your vids is plagueform but the stability can be stolen quiet easily by a mesmer. When in plagueform you are also a great source of condi stacking for the opposite team, the necro could easily epi off a sitting duck.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the big numbers but you rely way to much on the 3 guardians that have to carry you and you would die so fast these days even with that support.
If you encounter a group with some decent cleansing and half a brain this build / setup would not be viable.
I’m making a vid myself as I think it’s a good idea to explain this. I’ll post it later today.

Oh yeah, I was confused with the condi ticks in the video, I didn’t know you could change it back. Sorry for the accusations.

Looking back I might have been a bit too harsh on the critisism. The problem with roaming is that most of the time you run into much bigger numbers and if you’re not a bit tanky / mobile you’ll just get frustrated over time. You won’t be able to kite around if needed and when your team decides to get away you’ll always die.

Anyway, as a small scale roamer myself, me and my guild try different setups everyday. We always aim to be self sustainable with support on stomps / downs and escapes. As the necro is always the first target I feel I need my spectral skills to not be a rallybot. When we have our guardian playing some members would change to dagger ele or warrior, more physical damage based. In pure 5vs5 I would choose plague over golem and change my runes.

When you say you die 10 times for one kill I don’t think it’s a viable build.
Everyone likes big numbers but it comes at a cost. This isn’t a balanced build as you don’t have any durability nor mobility.

I’ve tried posting some necro vids in the past myself but I simply can’t anymore cause there isn’t a viable solo roaming build out there atm. No way you win against a good Ele or a good mesmer these days. Other classes as the Warrior or Guardian (thief) can just unleash everything they got on you and when kitten hits the fan they run away like nothing happened. If you’re lucky to put any condi pressure on them that is, cause they cleanse everything off so easily.

Intentional. We could probably add a max range but I don’t think it’s necessary at this time since it isn’t really breaking anything. The bug was what Godless described.

How would a max range change anyting? You hit the button twice in mid air, one click shortly after the other. I’m guessing the range would be max 100 if you do it properly. You guys are taking the fun out of the game you barely seem to know.

We had fun too, since we kept coming back, though fighting vs a dedicated perplexity group is rather annoying. The ele was from CSP, though all of us are actually old buddies from unity.

The only one using perplexity runes was the TUP engi from our pov. Thanks for the fights.

No I don’t think it’s a good idea, good and fair fights are already too hard to find these days.

I don’t mind dying but please stop with the /laugh. Be grateful for the fights you get and be grateful for the people that keep on fighting. Even when you are outnumbering them. Take a look around you, notice the number difference, notice us still there trying to get a fight anyway.

Last thing: if you refuse a fair fight at the windmill you shouldn’t be dissing other peoples builds nor trashtalk your way out of it.
Unless you’re a coward ofcourse., then I understand ;-)

Maybe if you see 5 men chasing the tail of your blob, a small group (not everyone ofc) could peel off and fight back? That’s actualy what we are trying to do.. We are constantly looking for fights but you rather A: steamroll or B: let the tail die.

Well said Jscull, I think it’s a normal progession for real PVPers. When roaming I meet a lot of people who just don’t want to fight. Sometimes I wonder what they are doing in a PVP area.

Easy workaround is to go back to LA for 1 second, request kick, go back to WvW.

I also have a solution for the powerressing by bigger groups → get yourself a bigger group!

How many people do you think would still be playing PVE in this game if PVE had the same attention, rewards and updates WvWvW has had? The answer is not kittening many.

I think most peoples sense of frustration with WvWvW actually stems from how close they came to getting something that worked for the majority of the people that wanted to have real RvRvR.

While we all hoped for improvements that mattered all we got was PVE in WvWvW (siegerazers), buffed up siege for carebears, stupid WXP with pointless rank/abilities and (even after improvement to it) crap rewards. And we lost the orbs.

It really says something about the game that when content that is released that is MIND NUMBINGLY boring such as chasing round different zones killing the same mobs for hours is enough to virtually empty WvWvW.

WvWvW guilds are drifting away. Even on SoR try and find a commander in WvW, you might be lucky if there is one on a map these days. Go to an event you can see 15-20 in line of sight without opening the map. Good commanders who led WvWvW leave the game faster and faster.

I am just as frustrated as everyone else, I’m tired of the same two maps, I’m tired of the carebear 3 button siege mentality and the karma train that never stops and certainly never fights. I’m tired of 2 rare drops and 1 exotic in WvWvW in 12 months versus more loot than I can carry in living world events (3 exotics and 5 rares in an hour in one memorable session). I’m tired of people ressing off Moas and other crap NPCs, tired of the downed mechanic, tired of Arena Net thinking that the crap they release for WXP ranks actually matters to anyone. And finally I’m jealous of PVE, though I rarely play it, who make me feel like an acne ridden red headed step child who they feel it is enough to hand a stale cookie to once in a blue moon.

Still, ESO isn’t far away. I’ll happily pay them the $15 a month instead of the stupid amounts of money I’ve spent in the gem store in orderto feel like I’m not some second class citizen to the guys who ran CoF to the ground or grind every day in some living world playground.

So Devon I thank you for that, truly – thanks for saving me from spending $80 – $300 a month on your game. You know where I’ll be and what you might need to do in order to get the people like me back. And if it turns out you don’t care, well then I guess we will both be happy

Until today it been really fun matchup without really seeing any massive blobs… guess you figured we must be missing the normal german playstyle (MS seem exempt from this playstyle agreement germans seem to have ;p )

I’ve been there every evening on EBG. You guys have a KISS group running there every night and everyone is following you. I tried to get some small scale fights out of you but either you run to the group or you die, and after that you all group up to gank our small group. After that you go back to your big group and attack targets at the slowest pace possible attracting every Gandaran on the map, because there is nothing else to fight.

Also a lot of AG people like to sit in towers and shoot cannons or ac’s. I couldn’t believe my eyes, a few times I was sure to run past a MS tower when I saw the activity in those unnatacked towers but it was AG’s. Crazy!

We rushed that bay north gate several times and we had 6 ac circles on us. You also build more siege in the open (guessing 3 ac’s 1 ballista +-), but we pushed a few times to down it.

We rushed several times into garrison west gate but you had like 30 ac’s raining on us. And u’re big group was running towards that rain chased by 14 people.

Let’s say you were only like RS and AM tonight ok?
