More raw dmg + easy 4k 5k Ticks of bleed and burning…… AND STILL, HITS HARDER WITH RAW POWER DMG THAN SPELLBREAKER….
GUARD HAS UTILITY BEYONG IMAGINATION HEALING BUBBLES STABILITY…….
guardian have just for fun taunt on 4s cd and he can use it 8x in row,yee mega ballanced and 2 years of development,also that protective bubble 8x in row…. again,guard have it all to sustain whole team,clean condi,deal dmg and war have….. 2 daggers… hurray.
dunno about that,any normal person will just leave aoe of elite and gona continue from there or interupt it. its basicly like DH trap,ppl just need to learn to move away from it.
you can allready cancel both skills with swaping weapons.
condi ps is better in t4 fractals, there are just rly bad fractals to be in melle,dmg is better and its easier to sustain yourself.also if you wana do some CM,dmg is rly needed.
even a guard can reapply boons faster than you gona strip them…

What’s new about it exactly? We don’t get something neat like Firebrand tomes, or the summons of Rev, or the new playstyle of scourge/soulbeast/holosmith.
We just get a plain weapon with plain skills, crappy utilities, and an insanely situational elite.
Spellbreaker straight up feels like an afterthought compared to everyone else. Not even mentioning the fact that it’s weak, the lack of thought in adding new and interesting mechanics/playstyles is the worst part.
You’re right – an unblockable burst on 7 second cooldown that grants stability, protection, resistance, absorbs an attack, gives an evade, does ridiculous aoe damage, copies 5 conditions to 5 targets, aoe interrupt/daze, and aoe boon rip puts me to sleep too. I feel so mistreated and underpowered.

Range: 300 and 1,5 sec casting time,if ppl can dodge hb with half casting time,i rly hope they gona be able to dodge this.

signed I wonder if those who complain have any idea of using a class other than in melee combat one vs one. Allready had a noob that complained about deadeye is to weak……. some people really do not understand why warrior and deadeye are completely op.

Literally Spellbreaker is the Anti-cheese spec of GW2.
whether it be condi spam, stealth gank trolls, boon spammers or kiters. Spellbreaker counters all of them. (But not all at the same time)
Very well rounded. Berserker is great for PVE, Spellbreaker is great for PVP/WVW.
Brilliant. I had an amazing time as Spellbreaker, literally everyone I fought was in utter shock how powerful I was.
People who complain about Spellbreaker are absolutely clueless.
I like how I can choose what I want to counter, do I want to counter condi spam, or focus more on countering stealth ganks, or punish those who dish out boons.
I cannot counter all, I have to be specific with my choices. Hats off to Robert Gee, really great spec!
Also I like how I DON’T HAVE TO SWITCH WEAPONS, Dagger/Dagger is amazing for self-sustain in 1v1 and zerg fights. (People seem to forget the burst skill for dagger is…UNBLOCKABLE! Which makes up for what Dagger/Dagger lacks compared to other weapons, really good balance!)
What I do is build Bulls Charge, Berserker Stance, and Feather Foot Grace.
BTW Feather Foot Grace is the new berserker stance, and probably better statistically on a ratio.
All in all, THUMBS UP!

Here’s the preliminary feedback for evening 1 of the demo weekend.
Spellbreaker is bland, boring, low mobility, low sustain and low damage spec.
All it can really do is remove boons, but that doesn’t stop the train of damage comming your way.
I am terribly disappointed. Especially when I looked to other specs like Deadeye.Thank you ArenaNet for allowing us to have this demo weekend that way we can know weather to buy the expansion or not. And it’s the later for me.

i actualy love daggers,but not like this sadly,no dmg,no utility,no fun to use any skill,just spam 2-3-4-5-swap to something and back 2-3-4-5.
i noticed just yeasterday,that it didnt do anything.
you can tank on point with m/s and str,but again,anything 2m above you and you are finished.
second time in row,is warrior spec voted as worst on reedit,i dont even know what they doing anymore….,every single utility useless in pve,one is usable in pvp. all animations are reused and i allmost cryed when i seen guardians new skills,20+ with new animations and utility which you can ALL USE AT SAME TIME 3X IN ROW HEAL/ELITE INCLUDED. after all these nerfs,this was one thing,they could make right…
how you gona keep uptime on fullcounter?
you can stack about 14 mights and deal about 10k dps. without trinkets ofc.
its kinda working in pvp with m/s and str/def abuse might gain to max so you can perma dodge,block,counter. well thats about it,you will still get kited to hell,bcs you cant AGAIN catch anything,also you can clearly see that all elites are overtuned and will be nerfed at some point………utilitys are trash,except superspeed/ressi,thats even better than ep,elite have only usage in wvw and its actualy sad that war is last class without blink.
no reason to play power ps,condi is EASIER,DEALS MORE DMG AND HAVE BETTER MIGHT UPTIME AND DEFINETLY MORE SUSTAIN AND OFC YOU ARE RANGED IF NECESARY.
one whoud say,that with dyable gloves and shoulders from tbl AND issues with leg armor,they gona finaly add proper dye system to new legendary.
I use sword in a power build and the damage fine .
Sword off hand might need a tuning and savage leap a slight lowering of activation time but the weapon works fine with power. ( I use sw/shield). .5 seconds active time reasonable for savage leap given this a low ICD skill.
The bleeds off old style savage flurry are not weak. They can be harder to land against enemies that break the Immob effect but you can generaly get at least SOME of these off before they do. I would point out in game terms you still damage ahead than if someone dodged your incapcitate as they avoid 100 percent of the latters damage.
If you want Sword to work with the bleeds and achieve a better outcome you should consider traiting arms. Power builds with 0 condition damage can easily generate bleeds well over 1.5k a tick. It might not seem a lot but it a substantial boost to overall damage output. The combo of Precise strikes ,Rending strikes and Bloodlust synergize very well with a sword here, even in a power build. With Blademaster and easy access to fury you get 40 percent crit chance with zero investment in precision.
Off hand sword there nothing wrong with this being Hybrid. It does not have to be either Or. Off hand 4 for riposte the cooldown should drop to 12 base and adren gain on no block go to 8 and it fine. Off hand 4 should have conditions added but it does not have to be a whole pile. 2 more torment is fine as a start on the rip.
dunno about power sword,you shoud try axe,i dont remember criting with sword for 12k in half sec. and aa chain with 12k dps.
you shoud run cps for fractals
open world it doesnt rly matter,for meta events normal ps build,other than that,you can run whatever you like.
raiding is cps mostly
dungeons gs/sword warhorn usualy to get things rooling,with traited Quick Breathing it rly helps in most of the dungs.
and for the weapon swaping,if you are power ps,you basicly never wana swap from gs.
you can play casualy wvw and buy scrolls of maguma mastery.
whole stability need to be reworked again,9/10 you gona be interupted thru ballance stance or ethernal.
im more interested about utility skills,something more usefull than leap,wp or stutter blow…
ALL weapons on war are joke now,they are way too outdated,lack utility and half of them are useless.

all other classes are ranged,war is basicly only melle char in game,i whoud love to see you win simple 1v1 vs any leg player,which will kite you 50 mins on all rocks and ledges on every single map.Thats why they nerfed you, guard does not have 30 blocks in row, we have 55. Learn other classes and deal with it.

this armor is worst thing that could happen to casual game. 3000 hours for new guy to get skin,wow.You…. do know that there’s a reward track, where you can pick the piece of triumphant armor you want, and unlock the skin that way, called the Triumphant Armor Reward Track", right?
i got triumphant HERO armor skins tho. you need like 500 tickets for these.
all warriors skills are like underwater,1 sec on anything literaly.in meantime,mesmer gona oneshot you from invis in 0,5 sec.
just small comparison:
war shield >Bash your foe with your shield and stun them.
mesmer>Block incoming attacks for a short duration. If this skill fully channels, summon a phantasm that slows enemies and grants alacrity to allies. If an attack is blocked, Deja Vu is usable for a short time.
war>Block attacks.
mesmer>Launch a wave of temporal energy that damages and stops enemies it passes through and buffs allies. The wave then returns to you. Touching the returning wave reduces the recharge of this skill.
oh and try to guess which one was nerfed….

Losing to a Mesmer is NOT cause for nerfs. If anything, Mesmer is seriously weak against people who know how to play.
thats why N1 in pvp leaderboards is mesmer?

pvp isnt toxic,ppl are. there is nothing wrong with new pedestals,if you find that toxic,dont even play pvp,bcs you gona find 1000x more toxicity there.

Not to mention warhorn, which almost nobody uses. Currently shield is the best off-hand choice.
Most of the heals would still need a buff, as almost everybody takes healing signet and the other options are ignored (year after year).
I am not asking to make warrior all powerful without any weaknesses. Sometimes small things like 20 % cooldown reduction, while not nerfing anything, might do the trick.
well,they could add protection on wh with some regen to make it more viable choice to shield.
they need to do two simple things,remove all proc from all classes and than just simply give every single class same invu/block time.
like in real life, 99% dont care and 1% will cry and they will change it.

imho the stark lack of armours since release is a major part of what makes the game stale,

we’ve had a couple of new sets but generally once you’d got your character looking as good as you think they could 4 years ago…they stayed the same.i hope the crystal desert Xpac comes with LOTS of armours, a plethora of skimpy, sexy and bulky, protective armours!

I was the single warrior in the North America Unity Tournament out of 16 teams, and although we got 4th place, that was due to skill, warrior is undisputably the worst class right now. There are people higher than me on the leaderboard who are just absolutely terrible or at least worse than me as a player but they play other classes like Thief or Guard that mindlessly get you ranks and get higher. I literally got hardstuck at rank 50 this season despite being #18 S6, and you know what’s funny? I’m still the highest ranked warrior in NA. That’s how bad the class is. You can’t even get past R50. Warrior was pretty average at high tiers last season, but arenanet balanced around bronze through gold and completely destroyed the class at every tier except bronze. They’re never going to balance warrior properly as long as they cater to low level players. Keep playing Thief, otherwise just find a different game, warrior will bring you nothing but frustration.
best part is,that bronze and gold player base is about 500.

It was already bad last 2 seasons, is there really nobody out there that’s like.. hey maybe it’s not such a good idea to have a class with a TON of cc and burst damage to be almost impossible to take down?
Just why.. the endless supply of resistance boon, dmg nullify, burst condi dmg, burst normal dmg.. doesn’t matter what you build, anything goes really.
