Title says it all. I don’t want my shininess to go away when I swap to my kits.
OP: Those of you that got to take a bite, how was the full meal?
I think we can all agree to have a simple hood for heavy armor classes.
We deserve sylvari and asura facial hair.
its a little unfair that i earned tribal set and you didn’t?
while i was pvping you were pveing and earned your Wings of the Sunless,
i guess its a little unfair that i wasn’t given that, Anet should mail me it…please folks stop trying to get the very few old rare heirloom items made commonplace.
there isn’t much of value in this game, legendaries are all over the place, go to lions arch you’ll see 20 people with Twilight.
the Tribal set is one of the few things that i’m happy i have because of its scarcity.
you folks just want everything to be worthless and commonpool.
Its unfair that you got Tribal set from RNG and I currently cannot.
From my experience, if you mix doing vine-wrath and chest runs. On average its 10g/hour. I also involves selling everything instead of salvaging.
To those of you complaining that I requested these armor sets to be given out, you are hearing me wrong. I said obtainable. and Also you really didn’t “work” or grind for these sets if they were so easy to get. These aren’t rare/exclusive armors. They were simply removed with no warning. Stop trying to feel like you earned them like they are a legendary.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Category:Unobtainable_armor_sets
Its a shame that there is even an “Unobtainable Armor Sets” page on the wiki. I know people have been wanting Tribal armor for a long time but some other stuff like the guild plate armor have no excuse for just being removed from game.
The wiki page says: “The skins still available in the wardrobe to players who have unlocked them”
This is a little unfair. People have unlimited access to armor sets that don’t exist anymore.
MAKE THESE AVAILABLE.
EDIT: getting a simple skin very easily in pvp and then having that opportunity removed with no warning does not make these skins exclusive rare trophies. Stop thinking that I want these to be given away. I said obtainable. Legendaries are obtainable but you don’t see anet giving those out.

Low survivability? You must be playing a different necro.
Either they’ll be announced “fixed” when they show us the new engineer elite spec, OR, they’ll remain unfixed even though engineer is getting minions.
But Revenant has been data-mined to get shield for the Glint elite spec.
Already confirmed that the npc charcters will take the role of the new elite specs. Braham will be a dragonhunter in HoT, that’s why he has a bow. And Marjory already has a Greatsword.
Dont forget that Glint will be the elite spec
I believe that shield to be for Revenant and goes with my prediction that the Revenant Elite spec revolves around Glint as a legend.
I say 5 shades, not too powerful but perfect fodder. Plus the shadowy theme for the shade goes well with the theme of the reaper.
Dhuum’s Soul Reaper
Staff
Looks exactly like the scythe from gw1 creates green aura.
Footfalls create voids in which bone arms reach out of( necro scepter 2 skill) said voids and create heavy footfall sounds similar to juggernaut on warrior.
projectiles make screaming soul noises as they travel. and appear as green flames
I think Shades would be perfect. They are just big enough to become fodder, in pvp would make it tough to target you with 5-6 shades running around you. Plus if they can all blind.
Then the 12 year old living inside of me want flesh golems like what traherne can do. that would just be funny
I think from past experience, we can expect there to be 5 skills for the Greatsword.
Cant believe you don’t want there to be melee staff because “physics”. Seriously its a fantasy game with magic and you have a hard time grasping someone using melee with a staff?
- already greatswords that already look heavy as hell but we still swing them like theyre nothing
- ^^Same with hammer
- We pull non existing arrows from our bows.
- no reloading firearms
- If a mesmer can shoot magical beams from a melee weapon why cant we hit someone over the head with a staff?
- weapons grow in size and mass just to match race.
-
Really hope its called Warlock!
But knowing what anets 12 year old staff can do it’ll probably be called Grim Reapers
All I ask is that they add footfall to flameseeker prophecies
The way I see it, in GW1, necromancy was sort of an evil, frowned upon practice foir how dark it was. As 250 years pass on the practice evolves into sommuning minions from nowhere so you dont have to sacrifice people to get minions. It evolves into a common magical practice instead of an evil one.
Warrior – Crusader
Guardian – Monk
Revenant – Ritualist
Ranger – Druid
Thief – Assassin
Engineer – Demolishonist
Necromancer – Warlock
Mesmer – Chronomancer
Elementalist – Mage
They dont have to be heroes, the have to be legends. SO, yea she qualifies, along with mallyx, we’ll probably be getting Shiro, Svanir, and other villainous legends to commune to. Good idea with scarlet, tho I find it hard to think of what abilities you’d have.
Because its perfectly logical to judge the amount of content the expansion has before we even play it.
1. The new leveling experience is unbearable to actually grind through.
2. How is it any different if someone plays an already existing class that they’ve never played before, and using tomes?
3. The new zones are most likely level 80 zones and I want to take my new Revenant there as soon as possible!
The way I see it in the gameplay, you have 2 Legends you can swap from in battle(probably out of a pool of maybe 20 legends.) that swaps your utilities and your elite skill, which in fact don’t have a cool down, basically works like energy or initiative. And from the weapon set we were given in the gameplay, they were melee weapons that had half ranged skills, half melee skills. And the trailer also shows staff being used for melee. I think we are all set with this class not having weapon swap.
Just goes to show how the mysterious Sylvari should have been left out as unplayable from the beginning and Tengu should have been the 5th race. Makes more sense.
Demolishonist
You’re Welcome.
Svanir
Shiro
Glint
Adelbern (Imagine a skill that turns people into your spirit minions!)
Koss
M.O.X. (lol jk)
Verata the necromancer
A character from your GW1 account!
Kilroy Stonekin.
Mad King!!
Nicolas the Traveler.
Arenanet, can you please put Rytlock’s Revenant armor in the wardrobe so we can preview it. I hate to say it but yes, I like to play dress up before I make the character so that he’s all set when he’s lvl 80. I’m probably 100% right when I say it will be a gemstore skin, so it would do nothing but help its sales if we can preview it early. Thank You.
Here are the professions, my specialization names, and the weapons i hope the professions will get to use!
Warrior : Phalanx —-—(spear,shortbow,torch)
Guardian: Monk————(longbow, Axe, off hand scepter, Dagger)
Ranger: Druid——————(staff, scepter, rifle)
Thief: Assassin—————-(axe, rifle, longbow, torch)
Engineer: Mechanic———-(Hammer, mace, torch)
Elementalist: Mage —-——-(offhand scepter, Sword, greatsword, torch)
Mesmer: Chronomancer —-—(offhand scepter, Shield, daggers)
Necromancer: Lich —-—————(Greatsword, off hand scepter, sword, shield)
To those say its true because there will be a lot of players without knowledge of the class at 80 running around. How is this any freakin’ different than rolling a currently existing profession that you’ve never player before and using tomes?
I have a scroll of knowledge and 16 tomes that I will definitely use on my Revenant because I don’t want to deal with the new trash leveling!
Guys, we should listen to this guy for sure, he has played the expansion and knows exactly how big it is and completed everything in it! He played it so he knows there’s no new dungeon or raid. He has definitely seen every new guild hall and logged hundreds of hours in the wvw and pvp maps so he knows that they don’t even come close to comparable with the content we’ve got in living story. Thanks for your insight op!!

In the trailer there’s also an enemey that looks ALOT like a Kurzick juggernaut. Mordrem corrupted juggernauts? Looks cool!!
I know he said"when it’s ready" last time we got fed that we wait another 2 years for the launch of the game.
Here let me check, says here there’s no information until tomorrow! (skrub)
Welcome to Guild Wars 2 Heart of thorns, A new statue we are selling of Trahearne!!
So humans using skills like Hounds of balthazar or Norn using Bear Form arent examples of us already using dervish practices?
But what would be even cooler is a Dervish that uses the power of the dragons brought to practice by a know Rytlock Brimstone….
My heart says its an expansion, but then my brains says: "why is it the same storyline as living story? I was hoping an expansion would be a different plot/story. but I guess I cant judge right now.
BTW, anyone else notice the Mursaat in the trailer? Or the two handed land spear?
Also, the original GW2 logo, the 2 is shaped like a normal dragon, and in this, its very snake like; suggesting that that might be the biology of mordremoth???
With all this spirit bonding to weapons, it’s leading be to believe that it will probably just be a heavy armored ritualist. it could be all the stuff you mentioned, but anet would most likely call it Rytlock practicing ritualism.
I’m calling the Underworld Expansion! With the Heavy Ritualist and the new obsidian ascended armor! Guess we’ll find out later this month!!! GIT EXCITE!!
The feature pack on Tuesday will include special back pieces per crafting discipline and special back pieces for collecting certain themed exotics like a Foefire back piece for making those weapons and elemental back piece for making Volcanus, mjolnir, cragstone etc.
Im next in line right, can someone just give me a Flameseeker prophecies pls, or mjolnir would be nice.
Holding a legendary is the title!
No, the damage nerf isn’t even enough to notice really, warrior will still be most wanted. And even as a warrior player myself, I agree with what they’re doing to adrenaline, and it’s not going to ruin anything. Plus we are getting a brand new and better greatsword burst skill so I’m happy!
I might be obvious but i started using sword again in pvp and noticed a huge delay when i activate the burst skill, and it’s costing me my life in the match. I might have been going on for a while but I’m not sure. anyone else experiencing this bug?
