They could make those snipers do 30k auto attacks from 2000 range, where they stand but thats not good AI, thats not fun to play with either.
They should apply boons to themselves, more conditions, dodge, get out of aoe etc. after that snipers etc. needs less damage and Diarmid bosses etc. needs attack speed, now thats more fun.
tbh the skills they use are still op, a mordrem sniper can 2 shots u using rapid fire and I’m talking just 1 sniper, you usually end up facing more than just 1 and that means instant death, healing skill is irrelevant bcuz you’ll be dead b4 you finished casting healing (yes that 1 sec you require to cast healing is all they need to kill you)
let me share what happened this beta weekend:
walking around beta map, suddenly a group of snipers spawned, died b4 I can cast healing, random ppl shows up and res me, got killed again by snipers immediately, the ppl who saved me also died.
Rage quit and went to play other free weekend game.

Agreed. I would like to see more enemies dodge roll, get out of aoes, dont get stacked in cornes, not more ranged dmg. Now most of the, hylek especially just stand there being hp meats.
I thought we were promised improved AI… well, i must be blind then. Keep nuking those mobs while they stand still …
Will happen forever if they don’t put loot on mobs.
I refuse to waste my time killing those unrewarding mobs for god knows how many times, thats just boring to pieces, ill go tag them and move on watch some show.

Same here, gw2 was lagging all day too.
The problem with event mobs dropping loot is that it moves the focus away from the actual objective of the event, and it encourages everyone to play builds focused around tagging mobs.
I have suggested that the champions spawned from these events (only) should not give champ bags but they should have veteran loot table now and if the event completion rewards like in Silverwastes also kept, it should completely remove mob farming – fail farming behavior. Mob loot won’t work without this system.
Further adjustments can be made to balance the rewards from these events.
You don’t see people in Cursed Shore breaking the game with their loot, its highly subpar to the SW rewards, but people still do it and feel rewarded depending on their magic find and don’t afk see many afking people there like in SW.
The event chests was done specifically to remove the variance associated with mob drop tables, and focus us on event completion rather then event farming.
Honestly, if you think SW is unrewarding, you probably weren’t around for year 1 orr, with its messily 110% fully boosted magic find, in full explorers gear, spending days on end farming for a hand full of T6 mats, maybe 1 or 2 lodestones/core, and few dusts to show for your efforts.
You’d have to be completely AFK in Camp resolve, on any class other then Ranger to not get ungodly amounts of loot. And the only reason I mentioned the Ranger, is because that pet on auto attack is more then enough to get event credit.
I didn’t say SW is unrewarding, i think its the most rewarding content in the game with the time spent(playing) but the point still stands:
Unrewarding mobs are not fun, render my magic find almost useless and I can tag all the events, go afk in some safe spot while being %90 of the time afk and every single loot will come to me.
I would like to see mobs spawned from events drop loot again in HoT, but also keep the event rewards in the end. Its not fun to kill those mobs and see that they do not reward you at all like in Silverwastes, only completing events do. Events can be adjusted to prevent over rewarding in the end perhaps?
Just make it so that champions (spawned from events only) will no longer give champ boxes but they have increased chances to give better quality loot like veteran mobs do to prevent farming.
With the new Pact Commander Mastery line having auto loot, it would be great to see those rewards return.
Personally, i feel i will be forced to tag events like in Silverwastes, because defending forts have little rewards compared to the tagging every single event out there and will have to do that in HoT to better reward my time, after the first time experiencing those events.
Still bugged no patch fixed it yet, bugs right after you dye armor, relogging fixes for 1 time then it bugs again.
Revenants don’t have weapon swap nor attunements or kits so they must have powerful weapons to compensate. Please buff revs weapons by a lot, they are so weak right now
Especially hammer. (Only ranged dps weapon?) Too slow no dps Ranger axe seems have better dps. If its gotta be slow it should be like Reaper GS, slow but powerful.
Staff 1&2 should have better dmg and #2 needs cast reduction too since its melee weapon. It maybe a support weapon but thats no excuse. Guardians mace is a support weapon too but it has like x3 of revs staff dmg atm with berserkers gear.
Mace&Axe doesn’t look like they got their conditions updated since the last patch, maybe condition numbers need to be increased?
Hotjoin is usually the first thing a new player does in pvp and its a terrible experience they will get farmed by winjoiners again and again. It really needs an update.
- Rewards should be the same, personal score increases rewards.
- Dont let people pick team or they will wait in spectator and pick the better team.
- Change daily to play 3 or so games.
- 1 person cant join to 4v3 a 3v3 game, must wait for another.
Weapons Npc inside Lion’s Arc Vaults sells them for 1 ticket while every other vendor next to Trading Posts sells for 3 tickets. Obviously a bug since Gallant Weapons came out too.
Since March 16 update, when you Alt+drag items from your inventory to the bank the item turns from “Account Bound” to “Account Bound on Acquire” in the bank also these two doesn’t stack with each other.
Sigil of Force does increase the damage but it doesn’t show it for skills or character stats, which is the bug.
Well, one of the fixes for this problem with Episode One was to clear out your TP queue. Pick up any items/Gold waiting for you at the TP. Also, for some, a -repair of the client worked if the other ‘fix’ didn’t.

A simple right click buy/use 10 consumables(or more) at a time option with a confirmation box if necessery (incase people misclick or something) would be a nice permanent addition to the game and easy things off. Why should we waste time clicking pointless times instead of this anyway..
We still don’t have the option to buy or use stacks(or 10 at a time) of consumable items and we end with broken mouse after millions of clicks, time wasted(Hundreds of drops of liquid karma, Lost Orrian lol Boxes etc.)

Dungeons like Arah is far too long, reward vs time doesn’t pay off, is not to be pugged. Farm CoF p1-2, AC instead.
Very difficult trash like nightmare knights(knockdown combo? -.- better skip them!) without reward.
Boring bosses like Nightmare Tree(auto attack! go afk! ZzZzZz)
Please add epic music to all dungeons and bosses(again like Nightmare Tree)
I use full knights on jew, gear but ruby jewels on jewellery, weapon depends for what you like doing. You’ll get around 1700 tougness but still keeping great damage.
Looks like to me they bugged all the loot while adjusting loot for downscaled players. No idea about old dungeons but they gotta be crappy too.
Only dragon LT’s loot seems increased, especially Shatterer while they updated its attacks. I keep getting 2 rares and sometimes exotics from him(was first time for me) but still sometimes crap loot as it was always with %116 MF.

Character customization and BLTC item preview should be top priorities for PvE because if you want to customize your 80 level char bad, you can’t stand it, only way to do that is to remove them, start all over again which is kitten and then kitten again :S i didn’t do that because i was hoping it would be in Lost Shores or some patch sooner but now it really forces people to do it at times.
I agree, a 2H shield would be amazing. Captain America style.

Point system in this map is broken. You will never get “Skirmisher” points in map which HALF the points you make in spvp, of all maps in spvp you will make less points in this map.
Personally i love T3 heavy armor on charr but the thing is its around 90 g without helm…
Female armor in the concept art doesn’t exist in the game, not the same Arah set.
It did in beta, but they covered it up more right before release.

The old animation was messing all armor while moving, the new one is better compared to that BUT it could still be better than this Combat slowed mode with swiftness and third auto attack on warrior, guardian(don’t know about others) are still in no good shape imo.
Voice is good imo. but its a litte bit emotion lacking at some parts, well maybe not a little on skill voices.
This gets worse if you maxed their height, with big swords bad animations can be seen better.
I hope they will get some warrior animations in the future, even charr like would do with animation fitting the norn but definitely not this copy paste from humans
Downed is bullkitten in all PvP, that zerg favoring thing needs to be either reduced by significant, big percent of health or get removed completely also we need to be able to hit them while they’re going down and last additional damage needs to be applied.
Current downed mode in PvP is straight bullkitten. It favors zerg groups, if you have no skill but larger force you will win at the end no matter wut. Downed health needs to be either cut by big, significant rate on SPvP and WvW or get completely removed. Also we should be able to hit them while they are going down and extra damage needs to be applied. You will not win 2v1 with the current state no matter your skill if they not completely game noobs.
This is still a issue. PVE Masquerade armor is missing in spvp and Tribal armor is named as Masquerade.
If most animations look bad, boring then “Combat readiness” has nothing to do there, its not important in a game.
People sheat GS before starting to run around just not to see the ugly animation. (including myself) Because legs get bent beside GS animation and that makes most armor look ugly, even worse in combat slowed mode.
They also swing barely on most classes which is boring.
All of these issues make you regret for using GS as main weapon even playing Norn Female.
I don’t think those who disaggree tried running around with it while wearing long skirted armor thats just VERY BAD looking.
They should have hold it straight and swing more effortlessly, that is way it should have been. You can’t compare them to the other races, they are way more smaller and dainty.
Both holding, running also swinging animations are bad looking and boring for such strong race, they really need adjustments.
Agreed with the OP. It’s said that they are equal in physical strength to males (unlike humans) how so if they look like barely holding their weapons?
