Thieves, stealth, culling, and the fact that the entire stealth mechanic is a WOW cancer that should be eliminated from gaming completely. I was seriously disappointed to find out that GW2 was going to cave to a bunch of brats and include stealth in their game. Cowards don’t deserve acquiescence.

I ditched GoM the 2nd week into launch because they had no organization or directive. They are also renowned for cheating and hacking. I hope they plummet further in the rankings.

I switched from Gate of Madness to Black Gate. Yeah, GoM is a bunch of cheating scum.
I have a 6meg connection and i’m monitoring my connection on the other screen, nothing unusual or any spikes, so i thought it might be something else.
I know what lag is, is there any certain reason i would be getting it, when my connection is good. And why can i see everyone else talking and moving, and killing me, and i can move but cant do any spells. Its not the typical type of lag i would get in a game, and it last for 5 minutes or longer at a time, also not typical of any lag i’ve ever experienced.
You know what lag is? Then you know it’s your problem not ArenaNet.
Right now it’s RUSH for me. I switch between Audioslave and Jimi Hendrix. Nothing spells victory like Tom Sawyer when you slay a foe.
Your internet sucks. I’m on 3meg in the middle of oklahoma. I’m doing fine. Next question.

I spent 11 hours today farming Orr. I killed everything on land and in the water, and did every DE I could reach looking for 2, just TWO, armored scales. I got nothing. Not a single one; there was nothing in any of the bags I collected.
In a last ditch effort I went to the TP when it finally came back online to see if there were any there and there was ONE. I didn’t even bother to buy it. Too frustrating.

The answer is obvious. Just go Ranger. Ranged is king in this game like it is in every MMO.
If you’re going to sPVP just be a thief. They’re completely OP and can’t be killed in the right hands. If you’re a warrior you’ll die constantly and always.

3 of us fought a guardian at a point in sPVP… his health bar never dropped below 80%. Yeah, we all died.

I had this wild idea pop into my head. Why not have supps at starting WP? So far this has just turned into one team controlling all maps, and going to spawn lock the other two worlds, mine is one of them. Why not give supps to the locked out or all worlds, so they still have some kind of fighting chance to take something back? All out domination, is no fun at all. Just a random thought from an insomniac.
Supplies (is that word too long for you to spell) at the starting waypoint is not going to change anything. If you can’t be bothered to fight for a supply point then your server doesn’t deserve them to begin with. Making the game easier for people who can’t be bothered to make an effort is not the path to take.
Moa is just kind of dumb. I mean, you can still dodge away and line of sight, but it does remove one person from a team, turning a 3v3 into a 3v2, which is kind of ridiculous.
Other than that, they aren’t THAT bad. People need to learn the tells on which one is “real”. Super defensive ones are annoying, but other professions specced for super defense are annoying as well.
Moa is WOW kittenery. It needs to go.
Bullrush+Frenzy+100 blades is a OP. I have a 80 thief in full invader and can be killed before I am even able to break stun and attempt a dodge. Those three skills will kill anyone under 14k life, if it doesn’t than just chase after them and spam your auto attack. Warriors Cheesy OP atm.

I wondering wich build in gw2 doesn’t have a single CC for warriorI actually just went back to a Hammer/Mace/Mace build that I used waaaay back. I use stability stance on all builds. I haven’t used endure pain in ages, CD was too long for my taste.
Are you saying that theifs speccing glass cannon HS are taking PvP more seriously than a Warrior that doesn’t take endure pain or a weapon with a CC?

No. What needs to be changed in downed state is you shouldn’t be allowed to stealth in it. And warriors are strong in downed state? Hardly.
I agree with OP 100%. Mesmers and thieves are the most irritating over powered classes in PVP. There is no valid argument against that fact.
No class is designed to take large amounts of damage; the idea is not to get hit very often. Tanks simply don’t exist in GW2.
Here’s the answer to your question, OP. Your job is to avoid damage not absorb it, just like everybody else.
I sometimes use the axe/mace combination in WvW. I like the knockdown skill. The thing to remember is that your weapon choices are only part of the process. You have to pick the right utilities to compliment them, and then you have to adjust your play style to take advantage of your choices.
I love the idea that there are so many different ways to play this game and remain formidable. Most people are using the great sword, which I do as well, but sometimes I want to change my play style and this game gives me that option.
