Hey, I was just wondering the reasoning behind the loading screen changes. I think it could be because they could add descriptions of the zones beneath the art. Anyone heard anything about this?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knows if the PvP update they just announced is going along with the Living World Update or is it taking place of it? Obviously any improvements are good for the game however I, not playing a lot of PvP, would be disappointed if they didn’t continue the Living World. I think that the living world team has been doing a phenomenal job with Season 2 and I would hate to see another break in the action, especially because of the recent hiatus.

I was roaming Brisban with one of my characters and I noticed a broken bridge on the map and went to check it out. At the top there was a bunch of bandits that I defeated and I looked across the bridge and saw a portal to a new zone. The weird thing is that there is no zone currently in the game. Does anyone know if this has always been there or does this hint at another area going to be added soon?

This game is one of the best looking MMO’s out there. I’ll post some of my screens.

I noticed under “General” they posted this “The “Join in…” option in the party member contextual menu is no longer displayed on party members playing in a different region.”

Does that mean we will not be able to join our parties in different instances?

I want to get the elite achievements however in order to do this I must hit “replay this episode.” This therefore wipes my entire story journal of all the progress I made previously. I did not want to replay the entire thing only certain instances but in order to fill the journal back up i believe that I will have to complete the whole thing again.

Can you please fix this.

Does anyone know the dyes that Rytlock uses on his armor?

I want to use them for my Tier 3.

Somewhere I remember hearing that ANet was planning to overhaul the current two way conversation cut scene currently in the games personal story mode. I feel that this would be a good time going into Season 2 because of the new instances they plan to add to the game. Can anyone confirm that they are working on this? I would really like to see my character talking in a conversation outside of the painting backdrop.

I know there is not a holy trinity in Guild Wars 2 so the term “tank” is not really a great term for the build; however, I am looking for a good build with survivability for dungeons and buffing allies.

As people already know the traits were updated in the last patch.

I have seen it in guilds that I have joined can someone explain server time to me?

First of all you have come to a bad place to ask a question like this. The forums is filled with hate because if people are happy they usually keep quiet however when they are mad they usually complain on the forums. I personally have loved the game for the past year. Have I agreed with the story all the time, no. With that said most of the new content and improvements have been in a positive direction for me. There have been many new systems added to make the game to make it function better. Unfortunately there is not a system in place to allow you to revisit old content yet. I have heard rumors of something that will allow returning players to catch up with the story and changes easily but it is not in place yet. There have been many new additions such as Ascended Armor and Weapons, Laurels, Account Bound Wallet, Many New Weapon Skins, New Gem-Store Armors, and more…. So ya there have been some significant changes for the better in my opinion. In the end I would definitely recommend you come back to the game, I have had a great time with it.

ANet Please add the last icon on the Tier 3 Charr Cultural. I know that this is a small issue however the icon you have looks nothing like the helm. In my opinion the helm is one of the coolest parts of the armor set and it has started to bug me that all the rest of the armor has unique icons while the helm does not.

Hi I am interested in joining. My main is a Level 80 Charr Guardian with Tier 3 Cultural. By far Charr is my favorite race. Would love an invite.

I don’t mind Scarlet that much but I think it is time for something else. Therefore I think she should be killed by the end of the year. Toymaker Tixx its up to you buddy. Time to send in the toys.

I my opinion with all the new armor skins and other objects being added to the Gemstore I think they need a new user interface in order for it to be easier navigated.

I really like what they did with the AC Story mode and how they had an intro with Rytlock telling people what was going on. I would really like to see this in every dungeon, it would be a good polish for the game.

I agree completely. I was so disappointed to find out that they were not going to do expansions. I don’t care how many times they claim they still can, they aren’t doing ANYTHING that is expansion worthy, and there is nothing on the horizon as far as players know since they wont tell us anything other than “oh yea uhh…we are working on big stuff sure…”

In a recent interview Colin said that they are still working on ways to deliver content and he said that they are not ruling out an expansion….

I think this is a great idea, and would allow a lot more people to enjoy the Living Story concept. I am able to follow along, you just need to take the time and pause to see whats going on.

I think that the newspaper idea could also be a great addition, as long as people would be allowed to access pasted articles in case they wanted to fill in gaps.

I am trying to finish this set of achievements and it isn’t counting my crab grabs or crab carries.

I would rather pay 20 bucks for a guaranteed ticket than 100 bucks on RNG boxes, that is just frustrating for people.

I think they’re using it to address the complaints of people buying $100’s worth of RNG boxes and not getting a ticket. Seems to me like the gem store ones will have a 100% guarantee and the drops will have a much smaller chance.

Rich Dragon Coffers are probably purchasable in the Gem Store, whereas Dragon Coffers will drop as loot.

I would really like that because these new weapon skins look really good.

I was reading the preview for “Dragon Bash” and I am excited for it. However, I read that the new jade weapons would be based on RNG, again. I saw two things there though,

“You can find weapon tickets inside Rich Dragon Coffers and (rarely) in Dragon Coffers, and exchange them for weapon skins from Black Lion Weapon Specialists in every major city!”

I was wondering what they meant by the “Rich Dragon Coffer” and what this possibly could do?

I had gotten into the habit in taking the boat from LA to Southsun cove. It makes No sense to me how I take a boat from LA and then I end up in an Asura gate, I mean really? If you are going to have a boat do it right or take out the boat entirely please!

I was wondering, If you take the Boat From LA, why do you end up in an Asura gate? I think if you are going to take a boat, you should arrive at a boat on the other side. Add a gate in the Asura Gate Plaza leading to Southsun so therefore you could have a boat and Asura gate to travel.

I agree. Living Story is a great idea. I think they should keep the great content they add instead of taking it away. Once we have a lot of content, then you can really focus on the “ever changing world” aspect of the living story.

They have to make money somehow. We would not have any of this content at all if it weren’t for the Gemstore. I don’t really like the chance in chests to get the weapon skins, but I am happy that this MMO does not have a monthly fee.

I really think this new content is a lot deeper than the F&F story arcs. I think that if we can continue seeing updates like this Living Story we be a huge deal. I think that one thing I must ask is, Where to you all know where to start with all the Achievements? At first I seem a little overwhelmed, can I get some suggestions?

I am also getting tired of this. I love the Charr as a race, however I have had to deal with this lack of visual attention on armor skins, back skins, and weapons on my character. I bought my tier 1 Cultural to transmute with exotic for my build and when I have my Greatsword on my back I see about 1/3 of it, the rest well, is in his back.

I was doing Ascalonian Slayer for Daily and I ran into one of the Sonic Periscopes from the F&F Story Arc. I was wondering if anyone knew why they are still here even though we are in the Secrets of Southsun Arc?

Guardians of the Sacred Quaggans are a growing PvX Guild on Northern Shiverpeaks. We do WvW, PvP, PvE, Dungeons, so we are a PvX Guild. We have some experienced members although we also like to help out new Players as well.

I really don’t like my Charr Cultural Tier 1 Right now because of the visual. My question is will future updates fix stuff like this?

I know there have been posts like this before however I have some good ideas. I think I would like to see Ogres in the game for a few reasons.

1. I think that Ogres could fit into the game easily because there population in the Blazeridge Steppes is being affected by the Shatterer’s Corruption and I think if they saw the affect on there people they could decide to ally with the rest of Tyria and the Orders.

2. I think Ogres could be a unique edition to the game. Imagine how cool a Ogre Warrior with heavy cultural would be or a Ogre Ranger with a rock dog. I think that they could be cool to customize and design for each profession.

3. In personal story choices Norn and Charr have racial sympathy for Ogres because they live close to them. If there was going to be a storyline around this, the Charr and Norn could help introduce them to the Orders. I played a Charr and helped friendly Ogres in my storyline. If i was able to do this than the Ogres could get along with the rest of the races with some adjustment.

I think that mounts would be a great addition to the game. I think that you could have cosmetic mounts and maybe even WvW mounts that would give you speed boons. I think there could be Guild Dolyaks and you could ride around on them in WvW that could be purchased with influence. I also think that you could have mounts from rare dungeon mounts and another idea I had was like a legendary weapons you could make something that could “call” or “summon” a legendary mount of somesort.

Anet should release a little mini Quaggan that has a beard and wizard hat!

Below is a list of Questions I have on how to improve my Guild.

1. How is it best to go about recruiting people? I have 17 in my Guild and I would like to expand so we can actually gain influence and be a little more of a force in WvW.

3. Any suggestions that you guys have for your view of a good guild?

I think that a Farmer class would also be cool. It would wear town clothes and it would wield a new weapon type a pitchfork. Some skills it could summon various farm animals and throw vegetables. An elite skill could be summon tractor and it would decrease your speed by 25% when riding the tractor. It would make you look more bad —- when riding on it. I also think you should be able to play country music on command.
