If I had known that it was that simple. Thanks a lot.

API key and Request library, how to? (Python)

in API Development

Posted by: jelmew.2531

jelmew.2531

Hi all,

Surely there is someone here who knows how to use api keys using the request library in python. I’m trying to expend my own little database. For normal entries, this works (duh):
def get_jsonparsed_data(url):
#Receive contect as url returned as object"
response=requests.get(url)
return response.json()
However, how would one do this using the api key? Googling gives me no clear answer yet, and I’m not that well traversed into the json world.

Greetings,
Jelmew

Golemancer/ Scholar golem mark 1 spawn bug

in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website

Posted by: jelmew.2531

jelmew.2531

I hope this clearly outlines my weirdo bug.

Preset(what I did):
I bought the light power/precision/crit set with rune of the golemancer.
I played some pve, spawning of course some golems.
I crafted six runes of the scholars, which I did apply over the rune of the golemancer’s.

The actual bug:
Now when playing pve, while having no golemancer runes active at all, there still spawn golems. They have been spawning without golemancer runes for a week. I’m absolutly sure they are mine, because they appear blue even when I’m going solo.

Furthermore, I’m a human. My party members see the golem aswell. If an anet member wants to see the bug in action, they can contact mee. It still happens and looks like it is going to continue happening.

Greetings,
Jelmew

Edit:
Okay, the golems don’t spawn of me, but of my phantasm/clones. When I shatter my clones, the golems dissapear.

Arah path 4, or a sad story of heroes failing

in Fractals, Dungeons & Raids

Me and my guildies had a bad day today. We we’re with 4 guildies and 1 pug, trying to to our last dungeon path. When arriving at dwayna, we knew we had a hard time coming. Boy, did we knew it would be so hard. First of all, the pug in our group wasn’t full exotic, no biggi for us normally, we don’t discriminate people on that. And he was kind of a beginner, but we didn’t mind. But when we got to dwayna, after two hours being stuck on the boss, we we’re forced to kick him, simply because his lack of gear and lack of knowledge, being more of a beginner. This really saddened us, that we had to do such things.
Furthermore, at that time, it was already late. So there were no more guardians or warriors in our guild online. Again, we thought, no biggie, we’ll just take another mesmer and be done with it. Again, problems occured. Since we we’re an unconventional team, 1necro/2thiefs/2mesmers, we didn’t pump out enough damage. We tried everyting, speccing into expensive food and undead potions, all possible tricks just to dps enough, chaining timewarp etc. In the end it was just void.
Now i’m sure it was because of our inexperience, but still a boss encounter shouldn’t be as bad as this. If all bosses in the game don’t require perfect skills, why should this one?

We tried everyting, speccing into expensive food and undead potions, all possible tricks just to dps enough, chaining timewarp etc. In the end it was just void.

Now i’m sure it was because of our inexperience, but still a boss encounter shouldn’t be as bad as this. If all bosses in the game don’t require perfect skills, why should this one?

I have another strange problem. Over the night, I sold multiple items, as can be seen in the screen shot. However, when picking up items this morning, there was only 24 silver to be picked up. I’’m sure I wasn’t awake 3 hours ago, so if the items sold by then, I could have impossibly picked up the revenue. So around 50 silver is missing.

To be totally honest, before all this I was eager to jump around in the world, getting exotic armor and slowly getting exotic weapons. I was playing the dungeons purely for fun, because playing with people is always nice. But since the fractal dungeon, I have a feeling I can’t just freely jump around anymore. I’m always thinking, shouldn’t I go grind the Fractals dungeon, because I’m only level 3, lagging behind and getting a group is becoming more and more difficult.

I’ve played guild wars 1 since the very beginning and I never had any problems pouring money into the game, into the guild wars 1 online shop or guild wars 2. In both games, I was happily hopping around, helping people in both games, having a really fun time. I grinded a little bit for 15k armor in guild wars 1, but it was still funn.

It is no longer fun now. My freedom has been taken away and for the first time in all those years, I feel the need to post on a official forum. Not to rage, but to tell them this is not fun. I’m really hoping they adress this.

I’m having exactly the same problem. i went into Arah for the Victory of Death part of the personal story line. I killed zhaitan, got the dungeon reward, but got no progression in the story mode at all.
