Defeated people are just knocked out unconscious, they’re not really “dead”. Therefore the idea of the ghost doesn’t seem to work…

That can be changed. Lets say it’s a coma. When u are in a coma it’s like u are dead. Well actually no one knows how it’s really like. So why not make your own way of it.

Part 2
Now this will look beautiful but the freedom will be too big for us ghosts. Therefore to prevent that there will be also dark portals with shadow fiends and other creatures
That we can fight in our ghost forms.
Now this will mean that we must have our weapon skills and remove those crazy ghost skills that i mentioned above and they will also be useless in these situations so yeah i guess we can remove that and make the passing through walls system just through press F to interact instead.
It seems more logical.
Ok so like i said we can’t be ghosts forever so when the time to waypoint reaches 0 we immadietly vapourise with the animation and our ghosts fly above in the sky, and after that our map opens up and we must choose a waypoint.
At this point we can’t cancel this window we must waypoint and ressurect. So that clears up after death.
Now i have one final optional addition. And this one is that while in that ghost form u can also choose to atack the other fallen ghost forms of the mobs. So u can basically instead of waiting around to get ressed u can kill some ghosts and get ghost items and mats. Necessary for some special items and recipes created with this addition of the ghost system.
So even after death u get to fight for one more minute in the mists and help the tortured souls stuck there.
Now if this is gonna be realized there can also be special events which include killing some evil ghosts to put other to rest and stuff.
So finally this is all that ghost content in 1:30 mins u can get to save souls in the afterlife. This crazy system will make people kill them selves on purpose just to save some mist souls and do special ghost events for the mats for those items, in that mist version of the map.
To prevent this suicidal thing from happening there can be special npcs or machines around every map that allow u to transcend into the mists and help ghost folks around instead of just dying to get there or better yet each of us can buy a special little machine from a mist merchant that allows us to transcend into the mists for a short time.
And now finally for the dungeons this can be a bit dangerous in dungeons since those ghost elites can atack u. Or they can simply be made neutral and get aggresive and atack u when a shadow fiend corrupts them so then they chase u.

So i came up with an epic sounding idea for players when they are dead or completely downed. So when that happens. Instead of them lying there waiting for someone to ressurect them they right after dying can get this ghost form that awakes from their dead body. And in that ghost form they can walk around and shadow their enemies and see where they went.
Now being in this ghost form won’t mean that u can pass through walls and stuff to reach other areas cause that can be cheaty in places like WvW and stuff, although that can be made to work if it doesn’t work in WvW . In zones like PvE we in our ghost forms can go through gates and stuff to see how many enemies are ahead and stuff and how to strategise next time so we wont die.
So that can work nicely in some cases.
This idea will crumble by another idea below—>: But to make it more great.
We can also have this specific set of ghost skills that replace our normal weapon skills and they can be like skills that allow u to dash through a gate and pass through it like i said above and skills that allow u to all sorts of crazy ghost stuff
.
Now while in this ghost form u will be asking yourself how will you speak to others, they wont be able to see you and they will get confused by these chat bubbles appearing out of nowhere. Well i suggest when we speak in our ghost forms our chat bubble shows up on our dead body like currently.This way it will stop the cheaty way of communication and stuff.
Now some will be wondering since we have a certain amount of time to waypoint after dying we wont be able to be in that ghost form forever but we will be able to track our enemies to infinite distances and will make it cheaty. Well that can be fixed by making a certain distance at which we can go further.
Example the border of how much we can reach far will be this mistful force field that stops us from going further. It will be in a circle giant form so we cant cheat through it by going in underground places or other means. Now the entire thing wont be visible so we can’t be obscured by this giant mistful force field across the entire map it will be more and more visible as we reach it’s borders till it stops us from going to infinte distances away from our body.
Now i have one more addition to this whole ghost system. That when we die we can see other ghost forms of other players.
Now if we want to communicate to each other we wont be able to do so since i mentioned that the chat bubble appears on our dead body. Well a special chat can be implemented like map chat and stuff. That shows up as chat bubbles on our ghost forms and only other ghosts can see it. That will make things a bit cooler and logical.

And finally the final addition can be that when we awaken in this ghost version of the map as ghosts. We see ghosts of former dead mobs around us. Lets say we die in a PvE map and we see a ghost of a dead champion nearby that has been killed long ago by a champ train,
Or other sorts of mobs killed recently or in dungeons we see the elites from a past sequence of the dungeon that we killed not long ago.
Also the atmosphere of this mistful version of the map will be all misty and ghostly together with the air around us and stuff and there can be random mist portals around us that when we try to get through them they point open the map for us so we can waypoint and ressurect and live once again.

what even this?? First i hear hearts got made like in traditional mmo quest.. Bland and boring in early zones than i hear weapon skills are aquired through level grinding and u cant go in pvp till lvl 30 and now this??

So there has been plenty of threads about this.
So what genius of arena net decided to pull down the characters with max height on the H panel so that the hair can be visible instead of the boots or feet when he could instead just minimize the preview so that all can be visible. I can’t see my boots and by that i can’t dye them or preview other skins for boots on my warrior. Fix this huge irritating bug

This new feature pack is very great and efficient even though it has a lot of bugs especially on skills. But the worst problem about it is that it’s ruining the game.

I found out that the hearts in the early leveling zones were simplified so intensely that they lost the unique fun experience all u do is press f. Example the queensdale heart for the farm. Instead of pouring water on plants and feeding cows with cow feed like in real life u made it extremely simple,bland and boring..
It feels like those quests in the traditional mmo but just simplified. All u do now is press f and the heart gets completed almost instantly by that i mean u press f and u make u dance to entertain the cow?! Uhmm what the f**k that’s what u came up with?
The game is losing its new innovation, it’s purpose to be a different and more fun mmo. Instead it’s becoming a horrible kittenty mmo. I heard that these changes happend because new players apperantly were whining that it was too complicated?! What.. Just what… What kind of a person doesn’t know to pick up a bucket and pour it onto plants and give food to animals…
The things the older generations did. The thing that evolved us into who we are.. So u do this huh, u listen to the birdbrains and trolls that consider their basement the only real life enviroment and that want everything served on their plate.. U listen to them instead of the players that shared this game with others and made it popular and that care about it.
And it’s not just hearts it’s the weapon skill system too where u kill mobs to get new skills. Those small things like that are now changed and casted away, the things that Angry Joe talked about the most on his awesome review the things that attracted new players are now gone..
Instead u have to grind your self up to a higher level just to get those skills, all the way to lvl 22. And u say u did it to make things easier, but than why did u remove downing on lvl 5 and lower? How is that making things easier? Do you have another goal in mind of ruining this enjoyable game.
Stop it! Brings us back the old stuff, sure updates are good but don’t f*****g s**t on the unique things that make this game Guild Wars 2. Now it’s more like WoW 2 or Aion 2 or Tera. Ur copying to satiate those trolls and it will only make this game dead sooner or later because i myself is thinking of quitting it if i don’t succedd at bringing back hope with this thread

So i checked out the recently released feature patch on 9 september. And after that i watched a wooden potatoes review of the patch. And he to my suprise mentioned that the heart quest in the early level maps were simplified in such a stupid way like those traditional mmos that i dont like at all. Example the heart in queensdale that u get to do first with the cows and crops and wurms. Now u cant take bags of feed and feed the cows but all u have to do is press f to the cows and fill up the heart bar.. WHAT? this happend?! supposably because some birdbrains found it too hard to take water buckets and pour it into the crops or take food to feed the cows. Many people apparently whined that it was too complicated?! What? So anet decided to make it much much much more easier and make the hearts really simple and boring. Just like quests u get on those mmos. At first when WP said this i thought they did this too all hearts in every map. I almost lost my mind than but i heard him out fully and it was just early leveling maps. But still those are 5 maps! That new players get to start with and feel that uniqeness of Gw2. I mean these hearts and small mechanics like this is what makes gw2 such an unique and cool mmo and something that makes me keep playing it. Why make it more like those crappy mmos just to satiate the birdbrains that dont know how to pull an object. Just why are u ruining this This isnt making things easy its making them bland and boring. If u wanted to do easy u would of came up with something smarter. But please.. Fix this i miss that heart. So many chars have a nice history with that. Its fun and ruining the first experience for new players from the beginning is very bad because of other simple minded few people

Okay so the amount of whining threads about warrior sucking and being nerfed is too kitten high so im here to bring proof that it isn’t as bad as it is. I hope some devs see this:
So before the feature patch released hours ago i tested out my warrior with all buffs and boons to see the max damage my hundred blades can reach before the nerf. So his 8x damage of the hundred blades was 6368 and the final strike damage was 1592. The whirlwind was with 1013 power. This was with 3107 power on my hero panel stats in total. With the signets on, the food sharpening stones and banner of strenght. So this was the max my warrior could put out before the patch. So now i wrote all that down and waited for the release. I came back to the game excited checked out all the cool new stuff. Yes this patch has definitely more stuff than the april one. So i decided now to test my warrior again. And suprisingly my hundred blade damage was now for some reason by 5 power higher it was 6371 power and final strike damage was 1595. I was weirded out so i though i had a different boon on or food. So now i decided to check out arcing slice: So it used to have 1710 power now it had 2200ish maybe i didnt check exactly so i went to test him out in combat. I liked the idea of the new adrenaline changes and it made warriors less lazy and be always in full combat mode. That was good. The Signet of rage duration of boons decrease by 5 seconds was a not too big of a nerf. But with the arcing slice u get back bonus of the fury u get by the singet of rage so 25 sec doesnt count for the fury basically. So i tested out the warrior in combat and it was more fun now especially that new cleave animation. It lets you play with your warrior with more variety and use more different skill combos. So its ok. And now even though the damage increase on arcing slice seemed low by the look of the stats, in combat it dealed really great damage! it dealt half the damage and a bit more of the full hundred blades atack. Or should i say 45% less than hundred blades but instantly. So this is also good because it sorta replaces that 5% decrease on the hundred blades with an increase on arcing slice skill. And another good thing about it is in PvP. So warriors arent that good in pvp with their gs combo. Because in most cases u get often stunned on you hundred blades channeling but when it happens now u have that f1 skill backup. To make up for the damage u missed with hundred blades. So it makes it a pretty neat balance change. And this is why people should not be whining before even trying or testing it out. Hope this clears things up about the warrior changes and stops QQing

They dont call them elitists for nothing. They know much better than you noobies that QQ all day instead of actually do the maths on the warrior damage changes and actually see that he will be stronger now. I would explain it detailed for you but too much info for one noob is not worth it

So i have this question bothering me quite a while so i decided to ask here for a correct answer.
Will i still have the same chance of getting ascended chests if i play with my low level characters. Because i wanna level them up through WvW but that would mean that i might not get ascended chests. I know that u get gear to your required level but does that also mean for the ascended chests

I think if they ever implement a new race it would be an unknown one from undiscovered continents or a race we already know that has a big population and it’s own sort of capital city. The Kodan will be a great idea for that. Since they have a lot of places to live in Frostgorge and the other snowing maps. As for those undiscovered ones they could make the Largos since they are sort of mysterious even though not undiscovered or imagine Giganticus Lupicus race!! Or a trully undiscovered race like the Seers or Mursaat returning and stuff. Also forgot to mention the quaggans they have a pretty fair amount of population. Anyway the Lupicus one would be epic as hell.
Aw wait forgot to mention what about the undead orrians! Yeah.. But if they would do that than forget cleansing orr and repopulating it.
And as for the Tengu well they look like a feline race like the charr so it would be sorta like the same thing, so yeah bad idea

Teamwork and Charr mounting

So i read a post that inspired me of something. So we all know some poeple want mounts implemented in Gw2 so i though it’s not really that necessary. But than i came up with an idea. What if u during combat can mount on your party member charr player and you both gain some special skills while you are mounting him and do crazy combo atacks on the enemy. Now this mounting can be limited like 6 secs fighting with a charr mounted while you both atack the enemy and that you have a cooldown or something. It would make an interesting combat mechanic or how do you call it.

So sometimes if you combine a certain weapon with a certain armor piece or set they will be clipping through each other or should i say passing through or on some occasions example if u put a shield when it’s drawed back on the back the shield will float on a small distance off the back and makes it seem a bit unrealistic? It’s only noticable when u zoom in your character or someone else’s. There are quite a lot of these bugs on many armor and weapon combinations. Is this supposed to be like that or is just so many bugs of the same issue that all of those combinations are hard to be fixed cause there are too many of them. I will post an example soon

Nowhere did it say you didn’t have to be on the same Server map. To be assured of rewards, make sure to guest to the Guild’s Home Server map.

What was said, is that they are working on it, and hopefully it will be implemented December 2014.

Well i guess that sums about everything about the Guild Bounty bug. So just change the server? that simple ain’t the new megaserver system gonna change my overflow back to my server or something similar?

So on Saturday we decided to do a Guild Bounty. We went for the bounty training first and everything worked out well except for one bug. Apparently the crusader Michiele was bugged and no one could interact with her. And the officer couldn’t activite her so we went for another hunt. After we finished it we went for the real thing not the training. So we started and we tracked and killed the first bounty and went for the second one about 1 min was left when we found him. So i was fighting the last bounty target and everyone went full dps cause there were mere seconds left. Don’t remember the exact name of the npc though but as i was fighting him he got to almost 1% hp and i was almost 1% hp too and i was just about to hit him but i died whilst using vengeance and he died 1 sec later. During the fight i dealt the most damage with my zerker build. And to my suprise i didn’t get the bounty reward which is the chest like the daily u get at the corner of the map panel. I didn’t get that and some of the guild members didn’t too except for the officer and some from the same server of his. So one of them pointed out that because they were from the same server and that he triggered it they only got it… To my suprise i got angered quickly i no where near didn’t expect this. When the april feature pack released they said that with the megaserver stuff the PvE guilds would be more better connected and share rewards even if their members were from different servers. But this… I can beleive they missed this. So we decided to do a second bounty and in that one only 2 members got the reward since they came to the second one and didn’t do the first bounty hunt. So i still got no reward with the rest.. Im very dissapointed cause all i got was the event completion thing that u get when u complete a normal event nothing else. All that time wasted i was so excited for this.. But this game has wayy to many bugs i’ve noticed recently that prevent me from enjoying it FIX THIS

Now that i have calmed down and remembered the situation quite deeply i did say more things that were rude so the party got hesistant that im the one bringing the problems, since i whined the most .So that they would not have to deal with that they decided to kick me and also because that i am not familiar with meleeing the berserker only. So it was actually maybe 2 times or 1 that we failed instead of 3 i guess i started becoming impatient for some reason but anyway it was half my fault too but still kicking me on the last fractal was pretty childlish since when we went on my tactics we were actually owning the boss. Still the advice from this situation is keep your mouth shut.

it’s funny because i didn’t even say that i didn’t have the time to they instantly kicked me. But yea though we ussally go ranged on the berserker maybe one will go melee. It’s just mixed but it works out smooth.

So today i i found a party for lvl 19 for fractals and it all went smooth the swamp was ready at the beginning and we were all experienced and skilled. When we reached the forth and final fractal the one with the Molten berserker and firestorm one of us, most probably the leader said that we stack on the berserker all agreed and we went for it. Although for me i never saw anyone go with that strategy on this fractal. I would normally go ranged with everyone else and finish it quickly. But this time we tried stacking and it didn’t work. I tried my best we were all stacked dpsing but everyone died quickly. We were failing already for the third time already and i got impatient and said that this strategy sucked, and that we went for ranged like everyone does. The leader started questioning me that no one does that even though i did that over 20 times already with even more experienced players. So even though he argued others agreed and we went for it but everyone suddenly stopped moving on the bridge they weren’t moving for few secs and the bridge opened beneath them and they vanished. I turned around and saw them heading for the berserker ranged just like i said so we started killing and everything went well he was 70% and no one was downed unlike the last time so clearly my strategy the regular one worked. And just as i said “See this works” the loading screen of LA showed up instantly. So from my experience this only happend when i get kicked so i started raging and wanted to report him for kicking me on the last fractal. But i did not remember his name on the character, so im asking here can i somehow see my history list of the parties i had so i can see that player and report him because i don’t want to let him get away with that childlish act. And also on top of that the next fractal got bugged and we had to reset that too… Than i simply ragequitted the game and went here to whine :P. So yeah if any of you have had a similar kick for no reason share it here. It will be at least interesting. As for the report is there a possibility i can find that player?

I saw this theory from a guy on reddit:
“I like to think that the raving asura was apart of Dessa’s krewe and got trapped inside the Uncategorized Fractal. He and other krewe members were sent in before Dessa knew the dangers of the fractals and they ended up getting stuck.

“All of us! Abandoned! You aren’t real! You can’t be here!”

Time inside the fractal might move faster and he may of been trapped for years and slowly went crazy. For the first time in a long time he has seen other beings besides the harpies and golems. He doesn’t know who we are so he has his golems attack."

I think this awesome hood should a Legendary armor helmet version with high stats other than just an ordinary skin because it surely deserves more. This new legendary helmet should be wearable for all professions which means its not medium or heavy or light its for everyone and that it’s defense is higher than a heavy lvl 80 helmet and it’s stats can be tuned or chosen like that time when we could put custom stats on a certain item for whatever reason was there. which u could of choose from Power, crit, precision to Power, toughness and vitality. And the next should be Balthazar’s helmet it would be very awesome but though their skin version can also be avalivable

I Made this character Star wars themed because i like the story so

Lore: A guardian Norn that was chosen by the Spirits of the wild to confront evil and balance the mists. His father was a Commander of the pact and a famous WvW Commander wielding the mystical genesis but he was killed by a huge zerg in Vabbi Borderlands in the mists. But Krosis inherited from his father and earned Genesis but his journey and adventure led him to the Dark Side( Tyrian version), its an organisation led by secret powerful Dark lords far away situated from the Tyria continent. So he joined them and became the Chosen Darth Krosis with his new Darkened hammer Entropy. He now plans on getting rid of Tyria’s villians so he can gain the glory and reputation and influence Tyria by forming an organisation secretly financed by The Dark Side and get as many recruits and allies as possible and even new Darth Lords. With that gain Queen Jennah’s throne so he can unite all races and heroes to kill the Elder Dragons and purify Orr and so he can that steal the dragons’s power for the service of the Dark Side and together study Orr’s secrets and ancient tales and find out more about the Gods and famous Legendary Greatswords.

That’s it, pretty cool lore huh anyway he has a a Dark beard and a very tall and bold physique

So i changed monitors with my brother to see difference between lagging with gw2 because my monitor is a a plug and play secondary,and it only has 1920×1080 so i played gw2 with the other monitor changed some resolutions and stuff so my game could run smoother but than when i changed the monitors back i couldn’t start gw2 with my monitor. the resolutions changing with the other monitor must of messed it up. So this happened before and i deleted local.dat to fix it.But now.. well there is no local.dat i must of deleted it forever omg, so can i restore it somehow or configure smth else to return or reset gw2 back, please help!

Haha, no my posts are not some “pay no attention to the man behind the curtain” diversion. By all means, this is an interesting discussion. Although I think the evidence that Queen Jennah being real is fairly well established, I actually do enjoy reading the theories about her being nothing more than an illusion in the same way I’m fascinated by web pages which describe how we never landed on the moon, or that 9/11 was a cleverly orchestrated government plot. :-P

I too have argued that we need a “hide footwear” option on characters, but to no avail. We got the option to hide gloves/gauntlets not that long ago, and that was in response to a bug that was needed to be fixed. hint

So i went to finish up the campaign with my 80lvl charr and i found this skillpoint in an small island near mount maelstorm i had to defeat this mysterios guy urhannur or how was he called he seemed weird and secretive he had this batform and mask idk if that was his face so. Who is this mysterios guy is there any lore about him¿

Will there be lores in the future for the legendary weapons like new mysteries dungeons connected to them or even events or will be there a puzzle with clues, secret messages representing a piece of lore of some legendary weapons like the risen high wizard will he have a lore of how he even got the eternity in his way or his true identity

I read it. I only need one word to describe it, but sadly that would be censored to kitten, so I guess my opinion on your creative masterpiece will be forever shrouded in mystery.

Hey guys today im gonna write a story about the true origins of the charr and the connection between the gargoyles a suggestion that u may like. The beginning parts of the lore include some parts of another story i made up.This lore also contains the origins of the gargoyle.

The Gargoyles Lore/Story

The true origins of the charr is led back to the beginning of time when the first vampire stepped upon the first world. a Godlike King with immense power that founded the first vampire kingdom which was the most powerful kingdom .He wanted to enchance his army and create his own beings.And so he found two powerful artifacts that space and beyond time. And they were the Malacath and Rinak’garh. with Malacath he created the souless demonic bodies of the Gargoyles and their power and essence but they were incomplete.They were too foolish and mindless ravaging creatures with no tactics just pure only pure evil and ferocity. Through long research and a lot of great events he found the anti-twin of the Malacath which was Rinak’garh. He used its power and poured souls into the mindless beasts which he called gargoyles. The gargoyles now also gained intellegence and so his army was complete . Their famous abilities were to turn to stone and so they were the most powerfull guardians guarding every castle and kingdom. The two artifacts were too powerful and immense for the vampire god himself and so he losed his power. Until he lost immortality and grew old and weak than turned into ashes he perished. The kingdom was free its slaves roaming free and vampires no more were his servants. The vampires joined with the gargoyles and continued their path. Creating their first kingdoms they traveled through worlds, galaxies dimensions they were everywhere in almost every world hidden, or ruling. The gargoyles shared blood with the vampires and became more powerful. And so the gargoyles’s first gods rose, their superiors chose to guard the holy kingdoms of heaven and as for others joined the demonic forces. Others traveled on seeking a new beginning. A powerful free race was born.

The Charr Lore

One civilization of Gargoyles led by a Powerful god gargoyle named Baelfire. He was insanely evil, he got crazed of power and his followers no longer tolerated him.And so they joined all together the most powerful leaders and heroes of the gargoyles to defeat Baelfire. They waged the war with their god in a newfound world at the land of Tyria. They finally defeated him or so they thought. He was banished never to be unbound. But he escaped in his demonic realm gathering his new armies to destroy all. And so the gargoyles settled on this newfound world. It was so different. So green so many colors. It was pure.The gargoyles adapted to this nature.They evoluted just as the humans did. From fearful Gargoyles to Cat like humanoids the First charr were born. So did the humans evolve.They all settled and founded their land. The charr were still fierce though, They were a ravaging fearless race, Always prepared for war. But they had reason and sanity. Sanity like never before. They sealed behind their terrible history of gargoyles and abandoned any beleifs of gods . They only believed in war and in what they made by their own hands. But not many choose to leave the past.Through centuries of existence the first legions and cities were made and one of them was the fire legion today known as Flame legion. They revolted against the other charr and desided to part ways and restore their god and answer his calls. Their leaders had their surname Baelfire. Although the flame legion till today did not know anything about their past.Only had proof and history of their fire legion ancestors and immense power. One day Baelfire will return and destroy all. The char must be ready to face the truth.

There it is i hope u liked it some things can be changed. i hope this lore will be accepted in the future and involve in new events connected to it. I am gonna update it soon in case of writing errors and some additional stuff.

Zhaitan is the weakest dragon of all the elder dragons that could explain the easy win + the asuran tech on that ship that kills zhaitan is immense who knows how much it deals damage and in the campaign story mode at level 67 or 66 nvm a group of researchers found an ancient tome to defeat zhaitan that could explain it

So i bought a new pc and i just installed guild wars 2 and when i tried to log in it said that my password or account name was incorrect with the error code 11:1001:2:1542 i went to recover my password i succesfully logged in the website but i cant login in the launcher i saw this guy on the other topic with the same problem he got it fixed and gave something like incident number. Can someone help
