I would regret UW in bronze league because we had much fun against you guys for several match-ups.
But to be honest, i understand that many UW players don’t want to be in silver league. The outmanned buff is a joke and now the stronger servers also have the bloodlust buffs. I wouldn’t enjoy that if that happens most of the time. We, on FSP, are lucky with the input of some good new guilds (ofcourse together with the old good ones) so we can give nice fights.
I hope the lower league servers will find eachother in the match-ups and mainly focus on the high tiered ones of theire league.
GH is more like applesauce than a real apple.
For the success, it depends on the goals you have.
Fun- yes and no (bit bored they are wiping that easy)
loot bags – yes
Wxp- yes
Bay- yes
Hills- yes
Garri- no
Conclusion- four successes, one failure, one mixed. Overall a success.
But i have to admit, we as fsp are failing to win the trolling in this forum topic. So yes we can still learn something from GH.

Well I for one wouldnt want to lose a good opponent like FSP due to a merger but fighting WITH you may be just as fun as fighting AGAINST you :-) Maybe your suggestion will get more attention when season starts with Deso-UW-FSP matchup :-) Kudos for making a bold and forthcoming suggestion like this. (And if you were trolling, well, you good in what you do lol)
I am for an alliance against the top silver league servers. Maybe combined we can have the coverage of Deso. We wouldn’t be a spectator than and we will have an influence on the outcome of the winner. The devs always said they wanted three servers so the lowest two can take the highest down.
And we probabbly have a forum war also, what else do we want from gw 2. :p
The league system can help FSP because i think we will be one of the top bronze league servers. I still don’t like the league system because it will be bad for the lowest ranked servers in a tier.
Yeah when getting the outnumerbed buff you will now not only face double the enemy` s but they will also have the bloodlust buff. What a nice suprise for the lower populated servers.
Outmanned buff should be the bloodlust buff.
Bloodlust can be similar to current outmanned ( more wxp, karma, loot, gold, etc). To keep everyone intrested in the bloodlust buff just give the opponent servers a debuff with reduction in wxp, karma, loot,etc. Guilds, zergs will want the bloodlust before capping things and the others want to get rid of the debuff.
They should implement the stat buffs on the outmanned buff and not to the server with the highest population. Even the stomp can be given to the outmanned and you will get a tighter score. The bloodlust can be the outmanned buff like we now it now with the difference that the servers without the bloodlust are getting a 20% reduction in loot, wxp, karma,…. buff. This way no server will let the others have the buff because they earn a lot less than.
DIE is an pvx guild with main focus on pve. In punk are some (ex) members of them.
We had 5 wvw guilds on FSP, now we have 4. Except for roamers, that is 20% of our core wvw players, we will feel it.
@kribre: GoT guild is not an wvw only guild, they are a pvx guild.

We fought both servers, AG is certainly winner of blobs in this contest.
I am also playing a mesmer and mostly running in a guild group of 20 people. More than two mesmers is not good in a group of 20, you will have much better results with swapping the third, fourth mesmer than to other classes.
Mesmers are indeed very strong if you don’t have any other mesmers so they are needed but not many. In our guild group all the leaders prefer two mesmers but not more. I don’t think we have 10 classes in game, so one out of ten is not that good.
Because wvw is most of the time big zerg or blob vs big zergs or blobs, i also think you don’t need that many mesmers in wvw.
Also want the old colours back. Now it is much harder to see the difference between blue and green. Also a blue commander tag in a blue building isn’t very clear for me.
The old colours were relaxing, these are too bright. I am not enjoying looking at the minimap or map right now. Make it an option for the colour blind to go for the new colours.
We don’t have the people to fill the maps. So the guilds on the borderlands joined EB for a minute. Most equal fights are on the borderlands so we went back there.
It looks promising for this week. Was a nice first evening, hope to see many more guildgroups of 15-30 people.
Ac’ s do indeed a lot of damage but i prefer that you can buiild less ac’s around the same place. Also they should limit the damage when there are 30+ of your server in the neighborhood.
I have the impression that wvw is not getting the attention it deserves. Almost all of the upgrades are for PVE. I bought the game just for the wvw because i heard gw1 was one of the best pvp games. I still love it but they need to focus more on wvw ( discourage blobbing, make gvg area, outnumered buff that is just a joke, low ranked servers transfering to high ranked, bugs,…)
I like the rally system. It requiers to get other tactics. Like the melee train that has to go back for getting the downed dead or the ranged focussing the downed. The only problem i encounter is against large zergs and blobs but that is not the fault of rally. Anet should make it that running with 50+ is less rewarding than in smaller numbers.
PS: most of the time i am running with a wvw guild, 10 – 30 people
If you don’ flip the supply camp, the enemy can just take the supply and than go for your tower or so. You cann’t interrupt the enemy because 50% of the time you will loose and a dolly can make it. Small group roaming is much more useful than solo.
For 1vs1 i would take the thief, they are hated and feared by every solo player. For zergs and small groups i prefer the gaurdian, you need more guardians than mesmers ( one mesmer for ten others is enough) but they are both very good
I don’ t know anything of Punk being against AOA. Before the GVG interruptions we didn’t had anything against lion ( at least not that i know and i am playing regular). I still don’t see the reason why spoiling the fun of another guild on your server.
I still had a good week. Kodash was to strong as expected and gandara is always nice to fight, less blobby than most other servers we face.
We didn’t had a queu on Fsp in that border, so an non- argument that evening.
The only thing you achieve by interrupting a gvg is irritation on your own server. You did interrupt the good atmosphere that was there the last weeks.
You are also saying we are not contributing while in gvg, what is your contribution by interrupting? (
What happened with the Lion guild on FSP. Interrupting the GVG at mill all the time and ruining their own server. Pitty that it is a holiday so the children from lion can stay up late.

The rally system is fine ( admit that some classes are having much better downed skills) Maybe adept your tactic a bit. With our guildgroup of 20-25 people we are running back to get the downed dead, also ranged is focussing on downed players. Without the rally we wouldn’t need ranged players because it is safer to run stacked ( buffs, heals).
I admit it is a problem fighting big zergs and blobs but that is another discussion (i would love measurements against blobbing)
It was a nice week.
A lot of dutch people in FS, in belgium people going to school have holidays in july,august and some even september aswell. Also many people are getting a lot of vacation compared to other country’s. So more people now online during the days.
Yesterday in primetime a bit disappointed in Uw on two borderlands, seems they didn’t want to fight our guildgroup of 20-25 people. Switched to EB and had nice fights with both servers.
I found it strange that some UW are thinking of revenge for their forum posts. 95% or more of the wvw people are not reading this. These days most commanders on FS are wanting good fights, in most match-ups these are happening a lot more with the server closest to you in points. So yes, some guilds, commanders will go more often to your border.
I like the abilities very much, always gaining something in wvw. I also found it good that it takes very long to get them. I like the idea of resetting them but the badge cost must be very high. Why very high? Because otherwise when people are defending sm or so , will switch to certain siege abilities and that is unfair.
The matchup system is really not working. The random is way too big. FSP is now against two really low servers for wvw , we cann’t do much, except on EB borderlands and that map has such a long queu now.
Few weeks ago we were against much stronger servers and we were wiped on some borderlands.
This is again a bad matchup, think the new system is really not working. Our server (FSP) has way to many players. Sorry for the blob but there wasn’t that much that could be taken and free beers always draws our attention. Most of the time, guilds in FSP are running their own way.
It is not the blob that annoys me but the skill lag you get with it. Blobbing is making abuse of that. If people can only do their first attack, no more skill is needed than numbers of people that are hitting that attack. You can call it tactic but it is weak. AM is using this 90% of the prime- time. Other servers also do it sometimes but more like 20% of prime- time. Last weak we fought piken and got beaten really hard but at least you could have smaller fun fights, than we admit and loose with pride. Now we loose by lags.
The skill lag should be looked at by Anet or they must punnish groups with more than 50 people running together.
Also the matchup sytem needs to have less randomness and more real wvw data into account.
Last night was really fun on DL map. Pitty is that we as FS only can fill two maps ( way too many pve players that aren’t seeing the fun of wvw). Was nice to see how many times DL garri, bay and hills were flipped after fair and good fights, most of them against PS. Lost a lot of fights but also won a lot of them. Was fun playing on the same map with some other guilds of our server and having some coordination.
Next matchup against a high ranked server, we should fight on the same -2 maps with all the FS guilds. More fun with even numbers and the high populatd server will also complaining more about matchup.
We must complain so Anet will do something about it. The old system was better, also a +1/ -1 system is.
The new matchup system isn’t working at all. I don’t care that much that we are loosing but against a much higher opponent, you cann’t do anything. Last night in primetime, FS and DL were outmanned on FS borderlands, on other borderlands often the same thing. Everything we took, piken could capture it back within minutes. They even farmed us in our own garrison. With our guild we tried than to have some fights against DL, group against group in the open but from the moment we had the two swords, the blob of piken came to farm us both.
Only solution was to go play in EB map because there we had a decent amount of players left and we don’t have queu’s.
I think we are loosing a lot of casual PVE players now in FS that are sometimes playing wvw and that i regret the most.
