Thanks, At first I didn’t like him but he started to grow on me. Then I bit the bullet and bought the scarf and it really completed his “Mummy” look.

While I disagree with the 10k drinks. I think its absurd. It’s not mandatory, skin is cosmetic.

And yes since the beginning the game the TP has been an intergal part of the game. But like skins, its not mandatory to experience the “game”.

If your “game” is fashion then you have to accept the TP as a part of it.

The map was well organized and we had all the pylons. We where just waiting for the Octovine meta to spawn and the map closes out and kicks everyone out. Which is frustrating when you have stayed in the map since the previous Octovine so you can get max participation and t4.

On a personal note I really needed it for the gold backp backpack piece for the warmaster’s pack.

Don’t know if it’s a bug or not but man that’s frustrating. Rant over.

The MOST important Item I have is the Home-Portal Stone.. I use it 50+ times a day.. It’s excellent for so many things, like gotta run to the restroom but you’re in some crazy map away from a waypoint? Might get killed while away? Port over to your home, then jump back to your spot when you get back to the computer. (800 Gems)

Other than that I’d say the Copper-fed Salvage-o-Matic and Mystic Salvage kits for rares/exotics.. Black Lion kits for gear you want to keep your rune/sigils from.. Endless Tonics, Flying Carpet, Seaweed Salad & various Utility foods.

Mostly the Home-Portal Stone is the best Item I own. After that would be Watch-work Mining Pick and Salvage-o-matic.

For a free alternative to the portal stone, you can just enter the PvP lobby.

Yeah, another advantage of the Home portal is that you can gather if you have nodes.

Wait a sec, what is so bad about using knight gear?

Probably that it’s not Berserker or Assassin, because apparently, that’s the only way to play the game, didn’t you know?

I use Knight’s on my Ele, actually. HoT isn’t hard, but Ele is way too squishy for me to be comfortable in Berserker gear with it.

Maybe because Knights is absolutely not needed in HoT (go celestial on Ele), especially when the main limiting factor is damage.

You can run Knights on any content where you want to spend more time than necessary or you lack the player skill for useful gear. Timegated content is a different story. Learn to play or at least use something that resembles damage gear. As is, there is NO content in game that requires Knights (aside from some WvW bunker builds). Even raid tanks only take as mich toughness as absolutely necessary to hold agro (400-500 over 1,000 base usually for a total of about 1,500).

It’s not the players fault that arenanet balanced the events around everyone running maximum damage. I don’t even want to imagine an entire group running full knights on TD scar lane. Have fun never succeeding. Wearing knights on this map is effectively leeching off of other players contribution.

False, difficulty is a subjective matter. HoT is a difficult to me. It’s the people in paper towel gear that I rez all the time while I wear my Knights gear.

You should earn your gear. Not have it handed to you on a silver platter.
You earn your levels and skills, gear is no different.

Especially when it comes to more exotic stat sets.

Anyone else find that the new PvP league icon things next to people’s names are really obnoxious and ugly? Earlier, I was in LA and I looked over at the forge and I could see like 20 of these horrible, yellow squares. I find they literally hurt my eyes.

Also, I really don’t care what PvP division people are in. Please put things like stability by people’s names instead, I’d rather that being shoved in my face, really.

Please let this OCCUPY crap die off. We get it, a lot of people like SAB, but it’s not a game breaking problem if it never returns. The occupy movements from a few years back bring back horrible memories of people who’d rather protest than actually take the time to apply for the jobs that are out there but no one wants (that they felt are beneath them because they have a college degree and fail to realize that a job is a job). If ArenaNet determines that SAB is in the best interest of their game (it really isn’t, it’s just a neat little extra). I do hope they just permanently re-enable the content so those who want to play it can, and people like me who don’t really care for it can stop seeing this occupy crap all over the place.

Leveled a warrior for 1 to 80. It was extremely boring and unrewarding. Normally I love the leveling process in MMOs.

I only have a few traits to my name. Buying traits is way too expensive. I have 2 others 80s that where grandfathered in. I don’t know how this new scavenger hunt is fun for any one.

Capture events also provide the largest single event source of Dragonite Ore in the game so without the events, that source has effectively dried up.

The Trait issue is less of a problem as they can be obtained by another method (gold & skill points), but it should be a concern that it is quite difficult now to actually EARN many of the Grandmaster Traits (including most of the new XIII ones).

I think Anet didn’t properly consider how resourceful a nicely populated (Mega)server of player would be in holding Temples 24/7 and they need to ramp up the difficulty of the Defend the Temple events so they will eventually HAVE to fail and allow for a restart of the capture events.

There was an equal problem with many players on low population servers that could not get Dragonite ore because the events where constantly contested. Or do any of the high level content.

Joining a guild is an option but even so you got to go thru the pain of setting up massive events.

I don’t know why people are whining, there are 3 zones in Orr, if they where running events with their guilds already they can scout all 3 zones to find out which events are starting.

I don’t know. I’ve had the game since release and I was on a dead server. I could never do Orr anything. Now I’ve done all the Orr content. I love megaserver.

Or you can just know what armor your searching for….For instance.

Wildstar to me seems to be a mash up of all the popular MMOs out to date. I keep coming back to Gw2 though. MMOs like anything are very subjective. I played Eve for 3 years, most people shutter at the thought.

Megaserver is awesome, love it. I actually see other people now and get to do events. The game feels like an MMO now and not a single player MMO.

As for runes I would use centaur runes. I’ve got full zerker with centaur runes and I run a shatter build. The only time I die is if I pull to many mobs or I get knocked down. I also use a staff for clone production as well. Hope that helps.
