Still didn’t receive my mail… is ANet supposed to have already finished sending them?
The candy are 21c right now.. Times 100,000 that gives 210G.
Even if someone could get those candies, who would trade them for the wings???
Even so each single digit equals to 10g… For a skin…
But will ANet activate some multiplier like on Lego games, or how are we supposed to get 100,000 candies?

Since a week or so, on the forest of the Winter fractal, that previously dropped some loot (weapons, materials, etc) from wolves and Svanir, they all stopped dropping stuff.
Is this a bug? Was it a bug? Is it a feature?
Could you please confirm, since now only the boss drops loot?

So, it took me 40 wintersday boxes to get 3 infinirarium, 3 festive golem and 1 snowman.
But now I face a problem, since I have an extra mini after I get foostivoo.
Could you get a way for us to do something in this case?
Even if we could donate it to another player as an offer, getting it account bound once again as soon as the other player gets it.
Same thing applies with multiple festive hats… what can I do with 2 of them? They don’t even stack
And for the other items, it’s a pity that all the tonics I got (I suppose because they drop so much) are worth like 7 copper.
Anyways, at least I managed to get my 6 minis, so I’m happy Thanks!
I think it’s a really good question, asked already quite a few times but we never get to see an official answer regarding this.

Concerning all the methods already tried, during Halloween, Lost Shores and Wintersday, I would like for you guys to explain us a bit the process.
There are some items account bound (like the minis), where I would much rather prefer a system like Halloween, where you would even have to buy the mini-pack twice to have them all.
If the items are tradeable, then I wouldn’t mind keep seeing them drop on chests, because when someone gets them, they can always set them up for sell in order to recover some of their losses on the chests.
Could you give us some light on your ideas from gamers’ feedback on all this, and what you’re planning for future events?

So far we can either build minipets or everlasting tonics out of the frames.
Could you guys tell us if something else is on the way, before we end up using our one-time frames?

Not wanting to flame, just to point out that given the fact that when these discounts were announced, the price of gems went up like 30-40% (on top of the inflation due to the event).
Of course they’ll explain that the price varies due to demand.
But to those players who don’t want buy gems for real money, where’s the discount if they buy gems today? Maybe the keys will be more expensive than 2 weeks ago even with this new discount.
Well, it seems that on the last update the Lifetime Survivor and Hint Completion got patched and are now working.
Only Kegmaster is still bugged for me.
I find odd that there were no references to these fixes nor for the fix on the bad mapping of the key “<”.
Thanks anyway, but try to let us know that these small things are getting fixed.

Though I’d love to see them drop after the weekend, I’m affraid they’ll go with the weekend.

I’ve played GW1 over 6 years and been enjoying GW2 since release.
What we’re seeing with these events, saddens all of us who actually like this game…
You’re doing an excelent job developping them and getting us new content, but, having 1-time events and the ones we got yesterday and today, I don’t see the point.
On my overflow server, didn’t even had the event on LA, the catapult wasn’t built and the action got to getting to the ship.
Even if I did, it would be just like all the other events, where you see 50 players on your screen stuck, can’t use skills, can’t hit mobs, can’t do anything.
The event comes, the event goes, and I can’t do anything…
What can we expect from sunday’s 1-time event? More of the same?

I’ve noticed that lots of drops on the Fractals, have just the name of the type of the weapon, like: short bow, dagger, hammer, etc…
Is this normal? Shouldn’t the weapons have prefixes and suffixes according to their stats?

Might sound stupid, but make sure it’s not in an invisible bag. I only say that as I had the same thing happen to me and that was why – doh!

I was wondering why suddenly the price for dyes jumped from 2s to 8s, and found out that I can’t post my dyes for sale.
So I thought there was a bug/feature preventing us from selling dyes, but I’ve noticed some new sell bids… it’s a bug then…

On one hand, a post from Robert Hrouda on the “Changes to Dungeon loot”:
We also gave those three sub-bosses a guaranteed item called a “Bag of Wondrous Goods” which will give the players a consumable Karma item worth 400 karma, and a consumable monetary item worth up to 4 silver.
On the other, the patch notes by Mark Katzbach:
Story and explorable bosses and encounters have a chance to drop Bags of Wondrous Goods, which contain coins and karma. Bags of Wondrous Goods obtained in explorable mode also contain dungeon tokens.
So, which one have you chosen to implement after all, given the posts have like 1 hour apart?

So, after 3 days waiting for this Meta event, it finally happened.
When we killed Taidha, no achievement…
What a disappointment…
But then again, why nerf content they created for Halloween?
Launched on the 26th, nerfed the 26th or 27th, only to introduce on the 28th the Mad King dungeon where every 10 minutes you were opening a chest that besides exotics, would also drop Gem Store items?
And Mad King lasted for 3 days…
So, at least, they could be coherent…

Since that in Act 3, we could farm the Mad King event, having a chest with exotic-probability each time (runs done in 10 minutes), would you please consider de-nerfing the Labyrinth?
After all, Mad King was done in groups of 5, to kill the 2 Champions it takes more time, and the spawn time was around 30 minutes I guess…
If it’s all about the loot, scale down the drop rate for exotics, but at least we could enjoy the last days of the Labyrinth.

We would… if after 3 days now you find us a way to use the broken doors… Sorry for being so annoying, but it’s a bit incredible how this doesn’t get a solution… It’s a fixed-time event, planned for months…

But, as you can understand, time is short…
After at least 2 full days of being bugged, that’s already a great part of the time given for the Halloween event.
And not everyone has the chance to come here everyday, so maybe for them that ETA will not be in time…
Not wanting to pressure you, for 2 days now it has been virtually impossible to get a door to the Mad Realm on the Gunnar’s Hold server, as already described on this post earlier.
Since this event has a limited availability, do you think you’ll be able to fix it in time?
For all the people that don’t have the achievements (zones or Tower Clock) and the rest of us that just want to get some more chests on the Mad Labyrinth, this kinda ruins it… and the worst is (for us obviously) that only some players get impacted while the others can still profit…
So we complained about the end of the free chest runs anytime on the Labyrinth, when we could do it only once a day… now we’re down to zero…
I’m looking into some potential blocking issues with the events right now. If you think your world is having an issue your best bet is to:
1) Report it here. Make sure you tell me what world it was so I can see it and possibly get it fixed.
2) Try one of other maps
3) Trick or treat at a normal door with a few people. The odds that it will convert to a portal are are about 1 in 10. It stays open for 30 seconds.

The only problem is that, at least in Gunnar’s Hold, the Queensdale event was stuck, so no doors.
In Kessex Hills I suppose it was the same, as there were no doors or events.
And in Gendarran Fields, even controlling the 3 sites we have to defend, the doors wouldn’t cause them to open…
So could you please check it out?

Let me start by saying that so far I’m enjoying a lot the Halloween event.
Far better that the old GW1 Halloween events.
But, it’s the second time now that the players get to see content nerfed!
We’re talking about content thought and prepared for months as you said on your video.
So, how come don’t you think about these things before launching them, only to nerf it some hours after?
I’m talking specifically on the ToT bags in LA and tonight’s nerf on the Mad King’s Labyrinth chests.
I would like to see the day where all these questions raised by these nerfs are in fact thought about before you release them…

I have exactly the same titles, and exactly the same problem
They did think about it. If you want to blame anyone, blame your fellow players.
The nodes were taken out because people were exploiting overflow in order to get infinite Trick-or-Treat bags.
Or would you rather exploiters continue to make loads of money selling off bags for zero effort?
These ToT bags were the personalized ones, so no selling was allowed (of the bags anyways).
But anyway, doesn’t ANet know about overflow servers? Are they know restricted from implementing events or whatever they decide, because there are overflow servers and people that abuse them?
That doesn’t seem a fair point to serve a reason for doing this or similar things…

Could you please help us understand why you do implement these hidden locations, giving us 3 or 5 ToT bags, only to remove them a couple of days later?
As I never saw an official word about this, I imagine that some players didn’t even know of them…
Don’t you think about these things before putting them out there? Why do you take them back?
How about you fix the things needed to be fixed, like the Halloween achievement counter (that although you say it’s fixed, I still see it bugged), or the Halloween doors that are bugged and permanently opened without ever disappearing…

It seems that the counter is still broken…
I had finished the 100 ToT Bags openings, the counter was increased to 1.
But, after finishing the 150 pumpkin carvings, it is still 1…
As you fix this counter (for good I hope), could you apply the same fix to the Keg Brawler one?

I would like to point out that sometimes i get to lots of doors, to just see that they’re opened both sides, with no interaction possible… is this normal?!

Almost two months after lunch, and such little details didn’t yet receive your attention?
Here’s a list:
- Kegmaster: not working, counter still 0 even after having some Keg Brawl skills mastered
- Hint Completion: even having all hints at 100%, the progress is 79/82
- Lifetime Survivor: my counter never passed over 0 XP
- Monthly: even though you replaced the Survivor component this month, it was clearly bugged, when it stopped adding XP when you were knocked down/entered an instance/switch map/logout, etc…
Could you please tell us if these are being addressed?
I thought that on yesterday’s major patch these would be fixed, but apparently not…
If at least you tell us that these are known, some people will stop creating new posts about them!

By the way, just to add all the contested waypoints on Fireheart Rise (Gunnar’s Hold server), where some have events that are stuck, and others don’t even have an active event and/or mobs around the waypoint.

Given the countless number of bugs reported and my personal experience with exploited dungeons (like Citadel of Flame) and skill points and events (either NPC missings, stuck events), I decided to post this waiting for a serious answer.
Do you think it’s acceptable that we wait weeks for things to get solved and:
- that one can’t finish the initial Norn zone, because there’s an NPC missing for a skill point;
- that one risks being banned/suspended because you almost feel obliged to do what your party does in Citadel in order to not waste a run;
- that one wants to finish events around him, but they’ve been stuck for days (at least in my server, Gunnar’s Hold);
I personally would like to see a checklist of acknowleded bugs, as this would might reduce the number of reports you receive for the same bug, and that we could follow what’s being done to fix all of these little things.

Each time I get into a zone (especially Lion’s Arch), I get spammed from gold vendors spamming away they’re 3 line advertisements.
If that wasn’t annoying enough, I get tons of mail spam with the same contents.
Each time that happens, I report them but it appears it’s getting worse every day.
Can you tell us what are you doing to reduce this? Don’t you have a way yourselves to control this and act right away?
