The Pale Tree’s seed was plant on the graveyard of Ronan’s family, and after Ronan’s death, his own tomb.

The theory that they look like Human was really interesting, but, with Malyck it makes almost everything wrong, but whatever.

Also if you played GW1, there is interesting theory about Warden being also minions of Mordremoth, which I really like too.

Good post.

I want to point out also how ridiculous is the OpenWorld right now. I am a main Necromancer. And before betaweek end, I took off all armor/weapon and ascended gear.

But for fun, I went to Orr, with a MM build.

And guess what ? No monsters, even Champions, managed to kill me. Since Minions, which is really good, don t depend of your stats, they are really strong on their attack.

But, the sad part is, I manage to tank monsters. Yup. With 1100 armor.

  • Monster’s attack are too slow. With my guardian, so many time I use my mace #3, on full cast, and no monster attack xD. This is so ridiculous.
  • Monsters are too dumb (they doesn t attack me in any sense).
  • Monster’s health are far too low. Com’on, it is biscuit.
  • Monster’s damage also are too low.

Good ol’ time, there were a really challenging and dangerous exploration in Orr. Not anymore.

Guess what also ? Same in the beta’s zone is happening. You can take off everything and manage to fight anyone.

Arenanet, please, don t let your game be casual. Stop that. Enough game are casual today.

I hate balancing arround putting high health and high damage. But I think it would be more fun if you put back to a normal health, and a higher attack speed than a higher damage.

The sad truth, is that with that release, no matter how big will be the 4 maps, we will never get more than Tyria.

Cantha and Elona (and others continents) needs far way more continent, and with that specific of doing maps, it is not that good.

I am kinda sad tho, our dream is getting far away. I would rather see the Lore explode, a whole new world to explore, that will be SO big !

Well, we will see. We will judge when we will see the expension

In before a lot of Q.Q from players…

Finally ! You did challenging monsters, which are strong, deals damage, and need strategy to kill.

For example, the Fog Monster : it doesn’t take any damage when it is in its fog… The first time I got rekt, and then… I understood !
Same for Charging Dino : no damage on the front, only on the side or behind.

All I want to say, is THANK YOU. It has been a while I didn’t had that much fun and challenge in PvE combat.

But I fear.

I know that Mordrems Dogs got nerfed, because of retaliation, and most of people where just attacking dumbly, and got reket by their own, so Arenanet decided to nerf that.

Please, stop casual. Everyone at the end will be able to know how to fight, it will just take less or more time for someone.

Don’t make what kill the games today : if a level is too high, instead of puting that level down, and make it easier, just let it that way. It’s Darwinism. Player will success at the end, no matter what.

@Rainiris Yup, I understand your point, and I was following this point before.

But since they explained why necromancer should not have much of this mobility, dodge, evasion, etc…-stuff I agree with them. Maybe it will changes in the future, with the incoming new Elite Spec, but who knows ? I agree with the idea of that us, Necromancer, are not into that.

For now I agree with the fact that, instead of having a lot of mobility, like most of others classes, we get the fear, the fear of the foes, hesitating of touching us, affronting us, because we are strong, and not only strong, dangerous.

This is also why I think with the reaper incoming, I was mainly okay of “how the Reaper works”.

PS: don’t forget to check the other answers, and look up other answers, and tell me what you think !

Compare to all of you, (sorry), I disagree of the fact that base Necro-base should get a “break bar”.

In short ways (in my head) : necromancer < his elit spec.

All based classes, in the future, will be inferior, in some point, of Elite and Unique specialization.

So just imagin a Ritualist spec, which is goal is to be far away, and support your team from behind (etc..). What is the point of getting a breakbar ?

Also I remind you this is a discuss mainly, I would like you to discuss (even if you agree with me), to talk why you agree with me – and also why you don’t agree with me ^.^ -

@drarnor OMG yes !! I didn’t think about this idea. The fear of doing something to someone is really great with the Reaper Idea ! The punition, in some way.

It will open a new term of gameplay, sort of “you can’t ignore it” but if “you ignore it, then punition

First, it is not decent to me, because 1 stack is nothing. There is a plenty of video of people in Lich getting CC and killed, even if the Lich Form, which gives 1 stack of stability every 3 secondes.

And also, my point is to compare Reaper with Pyramid Head (if you played silent hill). I really like the backfire of what could give a breakbar, and it will actually reward better players. This is my point.

Also the Reaper is supposed to be strong against multiple target, and it is not with the 1stack of stability refreshing that will protect him against thoses…

Hi everyone,

This is not a Q.Q thread (xD), but a suggestion (as say the title).

So today I watched the video of Wooden Potatoes about the Tempest, and he gave this idea.

First, I really like how the Game Designers designed the Reaper, they got the inspiration from really huge boss from Horror Games, like the famous Pyramid Head.

But since we kinda know Tempest will get Breakbar with earth attunement, and Warrior also have a really high chance to get this too, I was imagining myself playing the reaper.

And I imagin myself fighting a Warrior Hammer or a Rampage Elite. He would not fear me at all xD. If I didn’t dodge well, or waste my two dodges, he will just break my unique stability in Reaper Shroud, and then combo me (and maybe to death xD). And the problem is : Warrior is not the only class who can put a lot of CC to a foe.

So I was thinking, why not give us Breakbar ? Yeah, it makes sense as Pyramid Head : slowly coming to you, and kinda unstoppable. It respects the Lore and it makes sense also in term of gameplay. Why not trait it with the Greatsword like “if you use a greatsword, it gives you a breakbar

Well, that’s delicate topic, since we haven’t play the Reaper yet, so I don’t know if we can get into conclusion about that.

As it was said by the developpers, they try to balance in the best way before the release, and not give a really Over Powered stuff, which I agree. But to me, it is not that OP for the Reaper, since the Nerf of Chilled and Cripple with all dashes skills (dashes skills ignore cripple and chill – also chill stacks up to 5 now).

I wonder what Robert and the other games designers think of that idea, and also you, community.

Have you try Celestial Necromancer ?

Hi guys !

I wanted to know if you are currently running celestial, and if yes, what’s your build in this gear/set.

Mine is actually pretty strong, as support/sustain/damage and condition (the goal of celestial xD) (look the picture bellow).

I am also wearing a staff as off-weapon.

Just some points :

  • We are weak to lot of CC (mesmer shattering, Warrior Hammer, etc..), as always has been the necromancer :/
  • You are strong against condi-players. You will handle them, and then give them back >:D
  • You are a good support, because of blood magic, and also a good tank. (I won a 1vs2 on sPvP, it was Elementalist + Warrior, with not that much cc :o)
  • Sigils are really good >:D . You will punish them to use Boons.

That’s it !

i think making the live versions might affect allies would be enough. i think there is no need to buff or nerf the bleeds as our weapon do enough bleeding. it shouldnt be the main reason for taking this utility (as it is now). other classes can deal more bleeds anyways. were not the kings and queens of conditions and putting everything onto one thing…we saw what happned to dhuumfire and signet of spite

Yup, I agree about your stack.

But in my mind, if you look back to GW1, you had really powerfull skills, but requiere a BIG sacrifice. For exemple, Blood Is Power requiered 33% of your Max Health.

So, it would have been nice a similar work into Corruption – not necessary sacrificing health xD.
But anyway, I am sure there is better Game Designer for that option, and I hope they will try to balance it.

15 stacks of bleed? that would be balanced if u would apply 15 stacks of bleed to yourself and also necro loses all condi removes and condi transfers they have. dont get me wrong youre right about the duration vs intensity but dude…15 stacks

Don’t forget that this is strong :/ (yeah Warrior always on the top of everything xD). That is also a pierce arrow.

My meaning was a really high burst of Condition Damage. Maybe 15 is way too much (lol), but 10 would have been nice. But the might stack can be okay if they balance more the second effect, that actually is really useless xDD

Hi, I’ve open this topic to discuss about similar skills beetween Necromancer & others classes.

First, don’t forget that we are a Light Armor class : we’re supposed to be weaker in term of tanking, but a higher damage than Medium/Heavy armor classes.

I start with Blood Is Power :

With the update, there is an amazing (in my opinion) changment of it : : This skill now applies 8 stacks of might for 8 seconds to nearby allies.

I will compare it to the famous Guardian’s staff’s skill Enpower

  • Stacks of Might : 8 (for BiP) against 12 (for Enpower).
    Guardian is supposed to be the best support, so why not.
  • Cooldown : 30secs (20 under traits – 33%) against 20 (16 under traits – 20%)
    Here, it’s a comparison beetween a weapon’s skill and an utility’s skill so it seems pretty fair to me.
  • Second effect : Long Duration of Bleed (2stacks for 30s) against Heal (1500 + 1%)
    Well, here to me there’s a problem. Corruption’s skill are supposed to feel like “Overpowered” but you sacrifice something. Actually, long duration of bleed is useless in the actual meta : clean conditions are everywhere.

Conclusion : As I said, Corruption should feel like “overpowered” skill but with a really hurtful backfire. The CD is “okay” if we agree that it’s an utility skill. But both (Stack of Might) and Second Effect (Long Duration of Bleed) are too weak.

Solution ? I propose to increase the stack of might to 10 (like before), in AoE, and also, to change the Long Duration Bleed (2stacks for 30s) into High and short Duration of Bleed (maybe 10-15stacks for 5s).

Thanks for discuss with me about this comparison, and feel free to bring comparison with other Classes, so we can work together to a better Necromancer

Hi everyone o/,

I don’t really like to play MM, but what really demotivate me, is how our army looks like.

And back in gw1, the design was really better. Minions in GW2 are just skin add from “skeleton” (what makes a type of creature), and somes are so ridiculous.

The Bones Minions from example are just Rats

Just a friendly remember that our friends Elementalists got a redesign of their elementals in Beta Weekends, which were first, not cool.

So why not us ?

ArenaNet has really good game designers, but I think the actual design of Necromancer’s Minions can be way better.

Here somes example of how they look like back in GW1.

  • Bones minions : This compare to this wtf “bones” minion... Recycling Rats-Skeleton in game, is that that lazy ?…
    So I prefer the first one xD.
  • Blood Fiend : This is the one from GW2, because in the first Guild Wars, it had the same design of Bone Minion (which should be different :/).
  • Flesh Wurm :This is okay in my opinion.
  • Bone Fiend : This compare to that, even if that’s “okay” in gw2.
  • Flesh Golem : This is interesting. Even if I prefer the one from Guild Wars 1 (here), I am okay with it.
  • Jagged Horror : Since there is no more Shambling Horror, which was a really good gameplay idea…, we don’t have that. We just get a recycled Bone Minion, in really tiny version.
    Actually this is the only type of minion we can have more than one time.
    Woohoo, what a terrifying necromancer haha..

Yeah, so my problem is how chaotic can be our army, it’s interesting to add second skill from minions, but most are actually not fun to play/kinda useless.

Here somes examples of what I dislike :

  • Flesh Wurm, great escape, interesting concept, but damage are useless. Too slow attack speed.
  • Bone Minions : interest in explosion. So killing them. So why would you keep them alive ? Alive, they don’t deal that damage.
  • Bone Fiend : the activation of his skill is really random. It most of the time won’t be useful xD

With the incoming new traits, I do agree, most of things are missing for us necromancers, and I agree with most of the post. That’s really unfair to see really good rework for the engi profession…

First, I’ve created that post too, if even somes devs or game designer read it, might have new ideas for the incoming changment to traits. There is one already existing here : https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/necromancer/Thoughts-Sacrifice-Attrition-for-Support/first#post5014102, but about support. Mine is about an Offensive way.

Most of unfair, is that we are a light armor profession, but for now, a heavy armor deals more damage than us (and a RPG shouldn’t work in that sense) … Yeah. Something terrible is missing.

I played GW1 for a long, long time, I’ve done almost everything, and I loved that game. My Necromancer was my main in GW1, so he’s my main in GW2.

We miss so much necro’s mechanics from Guild Wars 1 (curses, death magics, etc..)

  • One of my favourite, is the “Boomer Build”. The goal of this build was to put 3 curses on a foe, focus him, and if he died, he will explode and deals really good damage around him. The skills were Icy Veins (elit skill from Soul Reaping), Putrid Bile and Rising Bile(both from death magic).
    Seeing that gameplay in Guild Wars 2 would be awesome, especially in sPvP, would be fun.
  • I don’t play that much sPvP, but I know enough that starting with 0% life force makes you the weakest class ever. It’s really hard to gere his own Life Force, since most of utility skills are “useless”.
    -The Spectral Grasp is weird. It misses some creativity, nothing really to deal with a Necromancer, and even it’s a good amount of LF generate, and even if I tried to use it, you just can’t. It’s not that strong (even if it’s good for decents combos).
    Why not add an F2 skill : Meditation : over time, increase LF from x to x%.
    It might be a really long cast, and also, you can add some traits to that :
    -gain HP each seconds while channeling
    -gain Thoughtness while channeling
    -inflict damage at the end of the channeling (Hi Shiro Tagachi)
    etc…
    And, in terms of lore and gameplay (especially PvE), it can be awesome !

Most of Necromancers feel like, playing necromancer doesn’t belong to death magic at all, neither curses, neither blood magic. And they are kinda right.

  • Related to Death Magic, we are not the best profession for resurrect someone, neither to kill someone.
  • Related to Curses, back in Guild Wars 1, Necromancer’s curses were like “If you do that, I will punish you hard”. Sadistict side here. We don’t have skills that punish a foe if it attacks you, or if it use a healing skill, etc…
  • Related to Blood Magic, as it was already said : we don’t feel like life steal is strong enough. There is a lot of posts about it, so I don’t have something to add about that.
    Just don’t forget that, back in GW1, necromancer could heals/buffs, despite of his own health, a team member. That can be fun to see it in GW2, maybe.

That is just a beginning of idea here. I really hope somes games designers will get some idea from here, and definitively, should look more the skills from GW1.

I am so sad.

Necromancer’s Holy Sanctuary has still a based heal stat useless. 130. Over 10sec (if we imagin we stay that long in death shroud), 1300hp. Over ~20k. WOW.

Looking at other classes, it s like “wow interesting” or “not bad”…. but OMG. For the necro… Does anyone by Anet plays this class ? All others classes are so interesting (mirror on dodge for mesmer), f5 for engi, more guardian build ….

Also, I always thought before, Dhummfire was like " apply chill makes your foe burn". It would have been better, less op that the first version of the trait, or more interesting, in my opinion.

Hi guys,

As you might know, A.Net likes to do little updates and change the world in specifics and random places, just like what happened with the Waypoints getting destroyed by Mordremoth’s Vines…

Anyway, I was doing my daily today, in Sparkly Fen, and while I was hanging arround for events, I decided to go to the Stone of Hazaan, where there were a curious and magic pillar. I never knew if there were a special event with this, or whatever…

But, when I went there, there were a big flower. I am ALMOST sure that wasn’t there since months, the last time I checked this place. And also, if you look closer, at the top, there is a symbole, that might be similar to the “Eye” we can see in the second trailer of GW2 HoT.

This is only speculations, but I can guess there might have flowers like this arround the world, in the Maguuma Jungle.

With the upcoming Expansion, there is no really surprises about this.

Did you find some of thoses flowers too ? Or something else ? What are your thoughts about this guys?

Mursaat

I think they are Mursaats. Even if they look more shattered than in GW1.

My proove are quote from the Bonus Pack, Saul. He said something like “Pure and full of energy creature, with wings, and look perfect”.

But here Konig des Todes I agree with : maybe they got a new form, in order to “survive” or whatever.

Also other proofs :

  • Golden cities, their home town.
    By the way we clearly see one Mursaat turning Buildings into golden by his magic, in the last trailer. But those buildings were already there.
  • The mask, really important in the description of a Mursaat.
  • The Maguuma Jungle, their hometown. Saul of Allessio was lost in here, drunk … But the Mursaats took him in their City, and healed him.
  • They, of course, are going to be important to defeat or learn more about the Dragons or whatever. That seems logical with the actual Story.

Also, personaly I would love to see an interesting lore about them, cool explications, why they didn t gave their magic for the bloodstone, why they weren t with the other Races, …. so many why !

Hi everyone~

WARNING may countain spoilers if you didn’t already finished the Living Story : Seeds of Truth

I know already that the Living Story is probably making the map expansion going up.

But Also I noticed this detail (see the picture at the end).

I don’t really know New Krytian, so somes persons could translate the text, that would be nice (But I think there is not that much information on it ^^)

So as you can see on the picture, probably made by the Skritts, it shows maybe where they want to go, OR where they come from. But there is an interessing loop arround Rata Sum.

Here my thoughts :

  • We potentially know that we are gonna meet the Mursaat’s city in the Maguuma Jungle, or something like that. But, we also know that Rata Sum was built on the old ruins of Mursaat. Maybe the Skritts find something interesting underground.
  • The door at the end of Seeds of Truth points in the direction of the South if I am right …

Kind of sad, but there is not much reasons for the map’s expansion going down. So it might be just TOTALLY useless XD !

P.S. : I saw a LOT of constructions and buildings under and upper ground, remind me of Elonian’s style BUT definitively, we are FAR from the Crystal Desert, and there is no way of Elonian (actually) went here (Krytians are originally Elonian who migrates). Even in GW1, there were not ruins which looks like that, back in my memories (correct me if I am wrong).
If anyone have idea of those structures, or a post about it, I am fine with it !

I have already create a topic on a speculation (to me important) about the voice we heard at the end of the S2E05 :

Okay, now I want to talk about a speculation.

I just replayed the S2E06. And I noticed what Eir told us
“But Glint never she had an egg. I would have…”

I don’t finish the book yet guys, but I am sure that Eir got an intuition here.

  • First the voice. Clearly Glint is from the past. And we know a lot about the lore of GW1. But we CANNOT figure from who comes from the Voice yet.
  • I remind you that the voice is really deep, powerful, and whatever…
  • Caith stole the egg. “Not time to explain”.
  • Again, earlier on facebook “I will bear your pain”. Caith definitively knows something, and she didn’t do that with bad attention.

I can already feel the drama incoming XD

  • Here I want to put again the citation of Eir. But to talk about it more, I have to finish to book to be sure about the speculation.

What if we were wrong ? What if that wasn’t Glint’s egg ? What if that was an egg from … something else ? What if we got manipulate ? (by what, no idea haha)

I remind you that :

  • Our character insistes about being discret. Someone apparently betrayed us.
  • Traherne was the one who was surprised “WHAT, everyone knews that we would have a meeting ?!”

In my opinion it’s one of two things. Either it’s glint’s kid from GW1 that we have to protect. If he’s matured somewhat in to a young adult, he’s going to be a very powerful dragon, likely with psychic powers. The egg isn’t Glint’s last child, we know that at least one egg already had been a young dragon in Guild wars, and as far as I know, had survived.

Or hey, it could be the egg itself talking.

To me, I have somes problems to agree it is the Child we saved from GW1 Eye of the North.
Because, the Egg is here for : get elder's Dragon magic, and keep it, instead of unbalance the Eternal Alchemy (Zaithan is dead, Modremoth take his power, and at the end, each dragon take the power of the deads ones)

BUT

The theory of the baby from GWEN makes sense to me IF the Egg is the reincarnationof Brill. Somes players had a believer on it, and it sounds really great ! I like the idea <3.

I don’ t think it could be one of the Edge of destiny. WP (wooden potatoes) speculated it could be Snaff,

That seems very unlikely. Why would Snaff, who is dead, be the one that hands the egg?

Because (true spoil) He kinda fusionned with the spirit of Kralkatorrik, so maybe he became a superior spirit (?)

At last, somes said it could be the Forgotten. But again (LOL), the problem here is that the voice doesn’t sound snake at all xD.

What does a snake sound like then? Frankly, we do not know what the Forgotten sound like. I’m trying to remember if there was ever a cut scene in GW1 where a Forgotten was voiced, but I can’t remember.

I think in Faction we heard Naga. I can’t clearly figure it out now :/. Or when we read their dialogue, there is most of the time “sssSSssSSSs” noise added. Or just remember the names of the boss.

  • Maybe a Mursaat (back from the mist and now to not be an enemy)?

Why would the enemies of Glint, help Glint? You should definitely check out this cutscene to understand Glint and the Mursaat:

Oh right ! I totally forgot about that ! xD. Thank you. I was really in the mood of the possibility of the Mursaat, but they will be on our side xD !

But to me it was the FlameSeeker Profecie, so here it is different. They do have a commun interest, you know, like Palawa Joko in Nightfall with the heroes. The commun interest is the death of the Elder Dragons.

That is sad that most of you didn’t hear about the talk at the end. I am french, and my game is french, I don’t know what about you.

Well I will tell what I think :

I don’t think it can be Glint because two facts :

  1. She had a feminine voice in GW1, and I don’t think the developers will messed up with this xD.
  2. She is dead.

BUT we know she was a powerful Dragon, and she almost become an ancestral one. So in other words, it could be her spirits.

  • So here again a problem : the voice was more like “I give you a mission. I trust in you. Do that […]” kind of. Not like “here is my baby. He’s gonna save the world. Take care of him”.

I don’ t think it could be one of the Edge of destiny. WP (wooden potatoes) speculated it could be Snaff, and somes of you guys speculated Logan, or others members of the destiny member. But to me, again, the voice clearly looked like “mess up”, “no emotion”. It was more like a really really “wise” and “old”(in the sense, who saw a lot of things during the years person.)

At last, somes said it could be the Forgotten. But again (LOL), the problem here is that the voice doesn’t sound snake at all xD.

Well, this is my new crazy thought :

  • It is E. Ogden cleary underthough we should “know” him. And he was surprised we didn’t see only a part in the vision. And E is really really powerful. Maybe a Mystic, and can be able to see the future
  • Maybe a Mursaat (back from the mist and now to not be an enemy)?

I really enjoy the idea of the comeback of the Mursaats, but here, they would like just like us, kill the Elders Dragons. So more like “we gave you something, you success for us”. A co-working. The enemy of my enemy is my enemy xD

  • Or a Prophet race ? It have sense here. The voice is almost the same, and they wanted to help us in the past, but just like my “spoiler” part (up), for co-working.

P.S. : Well, now you know I am not english native, so if somes point aren’t clear, tell me, I will correct them !
P.S.S : Don’t hesitate to really go backward in the lore and have weird ideas of who it could be, the more we will find something interesting to notice !

when is cantha ?

Oh, I understand the out of game reason for it.
But the IN-GAME reason? Do we have any sort of reason to actually go there from our characters point of view?

As of yet nothing have been added without an actual reason for us going there after all.

In game reason:
three things, apply any you see relevant

A) A dragon is resting in the middle of the sea that divides kryta and cantha. No ship has managed to succesfully cross it, let alone a retour.

B) Canthan Ministry is a slave to new xenophobic empress. The main city is walled off against any and all races that aren’t human. In retrospect, there is an open hunt on the kurzick and the luxon, and since that bounty was erected over a 100 years ago they may well be extinct already. Naga, Tengu, Krait (yes, naga and krait aren’t the same thing), Yeti, Warden, anything that isn’t homosapien is being slaughtered there.

C) Although Factions emperor was considered ‘nice’, it is a common belief that the average emperor would put the entire continent on lockdown and burn half the map if necessary if so much as a little problem would arise. (poverty not included, though after the plague there was a huge mass extinction of the slums to prevent spreading)

A) Wrong.

That was deadships and everythings linked to Zhaitan who cut the link with Cantha. The “DeepSea Dragon” is …“deepSea”. Only the Largos had to manage him, and the Karkas, maybe.

B) Right. The emperor became really xenophobic, and cut all links to “his” country, when the firsts dragons awoke.

C) Right again.

BUT, don’t forget that first, there were really BIGs links beetween the human of Cantha, and the human in Krytia. A really deep commercial (and more) relation.
In order to save the humanity, to discover and learn more about Dragons, we actually need to go in Cantha.

Hi everyone !

Warning !Spoilers if you didn’t already finish the Chapter 5 !

It seems to me that nobody is talking about the Voice who gives the Egg to the Master of Peace.

Ogden taunted us by like :

  • “But… You already know !”
  • “You don’t?”
  • “Haha, okay, you will see later”

But it bothers me !!!! Nobody have an idea who he/she can be?!

I know a lot from the Guild Wars Lore, but I have really NO idea who he/she can be.

My littles speculations are :

The Glint’s spirit or the baby we saved in GWEN (that was a mission).

Any crazy thoughts guys?

Wizard's Tower In Kessex Hills. New dungeon?

For the ones who don’t know what happens here :

There is a strong wizard in this Tower. He might know immortality. That’s why in GW1, Verata, a powerful Necromancer, was looking for this tower (if I am right~).

But the Hero (us) stopped it, and kill him. (There is really more to say about Verata)

Now, in GW2, a town grown near to this Wizard’s Tower.

And here this is my theory :
When you talk arround, you might notice Immortal Elemental, controled by the Wizard, and they are here to protect the town.
But you know it’s hypothetical impossible to be immortal (in Gw’s universe). Anything has a end. (Okay, except Gods…)

We know too that there is stranger who’s invited by the Wizard, but never comes back.

Obviously, I think it turns them into Elementals, a kind of philosophal stone’s philosophy.

Others things about it :

  • I think he’s a mixed beetween Necromancer and Elementalist.
  • The town is near to the Capital of the Tengus !
  • It’s not a that bad things because he looks like protecting the town… But maybe for his own.

To return to the main topic, I would appreciate that this story got improve, like somes of the others mysteries.
I already noticed the Town growing during the LS, and I really appreciate it.

I can't moove with my character !

Hello ArenaNet,

I dunno if that’s happened to others peoples, but I can’t moove my character after a specific combination of keys.

Especially with my Necromancer (or my Elementalist), in PvP (that happens in PvE too),
I moove, dodge a lot, and use a lot of skills.

But when sometimes I do a specific combination, my character got stuck, and can’t moove.

I can still cast spells. But he’s stuck, until I use a teleport, or a dodge skill.

As a developer, I can tell maybe that happens at the end of a dodge, while using somes kind of skills (changing form f1 necromancer or dodge skills) at ~90-95% of the dodge.

Maybe that could explain the infinity loop with the greatword (SPINN SPINNN etc…)

[SPOILERS] speculation on the ending cutscene

First, when I saw the pillar, I immediatly though about the races.

In the stories, there were 5 races in order to make the bloodstones, and
keep the dragon sleeping.

But I saw only 4 pillars. And then comes the latest.

I had a crazy theory about the origins of the Sylvaris, which was : What if they were create in order to be the 5th Race ?
(After all, if we want to do speculations, we have to be crazy )

But, this got somes unconveniants : The second pale tree is one of them. But we don’t know that much about it.

I wrote also all of this theory on the french forum about “The true behind the Pale Tree”.

At the end, I think it can be possible that the Pale Tree was a bit like “Glint”, but became “cure” by the Ventari’s tablet, just like did the Forgottens to Glint.

Back in the ending cutscene, the dragon was for me : “Why the kitten is he here?”. So I forgot this speculation.

It clearly shows that Mordremoth want something. And this thing looks like a stone.

But reading your commentary, oh my god, that could be true !

What if that was an Egg of Glint? What if the Zephyrites bring it with them?
What if that’s the goal of the Master of Piece and to save it?

I remember a build I’ve made on GW1.
I called it “Boomer”, because your foe become a real bomb. If he died, the explosion inflicted a great AoE, with Icy Veins, Putrid Bile & Rising Bile.
I think it’s stupid to not have inspiration from the precedent Guild Wars.
It could be fine if they create something like that in GW2, somes “types” of skill, like each classes.
But now, I think it’ll have many news skills only with a new extansion, and I hope with a new continent (Cantha or Elona, I don’t really care).
