When the reward for the hardest pve content is 1.3 gold and a few blues/greens/rares i don’t see anything wrong with players trying to get some profit out of it themselves

Some of you keep throwing exploits arround like nothing. The real exploits get players banned, these are just stuff arena knew exsisted but decided to ignore it, as a simple invisible wall couldn’t fix it. Noone said it was wrong to go past 50, so ppl decided and made the game a bit harder as there is no challenge in game exept soloing some dungeon paths.

Im not sure why are people against rewarding the players that took their time and got to lvl 80. Noone loses anything if someone gets a reward for their effort and some don’t becuase they didn’t bother playing as much fractals.
Even if arena warned months in advance there would be a reward for getting to 80 before the reset, i doubt many more players would do it just because there is no fair reward for grinding some of the most buggiest and not rewarding content ingame.

Some time ago in pvp section, there was a post about ranks being farmed up and players feared that would get a reset aswell so everyone would lose ranks, eighter farmed or just earned over time.
The dev responded with basicaly “Arena would never take away something players have worked for”, which might just happen here.

Runes are broken with some builds/classes. The only reason you don’t see more players crying about it is because most people run in zergs where the runes have no impact.

The fix would easly be an internal cooldown and im not sure how that wasn’t added a week after thier release.

They kick three of us Just to sell the slot

From my experience, don’t even bother reporting to support as you will only get an automated response which won’t not even remotely be related to what u want.

Also, posting their names will most likely get you an infraction.

As for the solution, the one i found was to make their life ingame a bit harder in any way you want, but i had nothing better to do <,<

0.5 still gives u a small opening tho, if anything u can predict it and blindly interrupt it.

Some other skills, like Withdraw, have NO cast time. Dunno how it dosent get mentioned in a post like this tho.

Mby they could make animation more like oil and less like dirty water squirting from the ground. Lets say like twilight footsteps but connected and all black(so people dont get confused)

You’re mixing up two different mechanics. The stat “condition duration” is useless after 100 percent — barring condition duration reduction effects — but your conditions can last up to 200 percent duration, meaning their base duration is 100 percent.

My explanation for Dogged Match should have made that pretty clear. If you don’t get it after reading that, I don’t think any explanation will make it sink in.

I think the most troubling thing is you seem to genuinely not understand how percents work. I’m not sure how I can help you if that’s the case.

Anyway, it’s obviously bugged to anyone who does understand basic percents and game mechanics, and it needs to be fixed.

Or the tooltip for the trait is just written horribly and by 100% condi reduction just means all of it. U can add condi duration to ur base duration, but the trait will see it it as 100 eighter way and negate it. Awkwardly written tooltips are not hard to find in this game..

supply crate dosent even trigger lyssa as far as i know, so the engi would have to use the elixir or the mortar (both amazing elites right..)

Is it just me or are you ignoring everything ppl told you on how to deal with AR.

On a side note, since you obviously dont know how the trait and some of engi skills work, why not play one for a day, and see how other necros deal with AR.

Not a full time pvper, but thats how i see it, playing an engi. The trait only works for condis applied after engi gets dropped to 25% hp.

A generic engi build has about 18k hp, so he has to drop to 4.5k

I saw necros dropping me in 2 fears if i dont get a lucky fear dodge. When u condi burst an engi like that the trait is worthless.

So a good counter to the trait would be stop spamming ur condis like a mindless drone and drop engis to 50-60% slowly (i say slowly, i mean dont burst, as u might not be able to do it 100% of the time) and then apply ur condis.

Agree with all OP said, couldnt have written it better.

The gauntlet is a great idea executed horribly, however i really want to see more of ideas like that in the future

Liking the gauntlet appart for some details so far, but i got a question.

The tremor gambit, as far as i have seen, knocks u and the boss both arround in an interval.

Now i noticed it happen a few times that even if i dont take that gambit, sometimes ill still have the effects of tremor, but just on me, the boss stays untouched.

The question is does any of the bosses have that mechanic or is this some kind of known bug?

How about u can change 4 random fractal skins for a ticket that can get u the skin u want. U obviously had bad luck, but u get a chance to trade 4 skins u would never use for 1 u need.

At time, the clones will even stop moving and chill, the only way to get rid of them is to shatter/go out of range. Keep in mind, the target there were summoned on is nowhere near, so in theory, they should be destroyed, but nope, u have to waste a shatter…

U get 3 stacks of might each time the sword bounces back to you.

For the duration, not all stacks got on you at the same time, so they also dissapear at different times

Are there any settings that let u see the thief faster when he gets out of stealth?
Cuz it unstealth> he hits me for about sec and a half>i actually see him>puff stealth again and repeat..

I know staying grouped is better, the problem is the 1v1 situations. And shatter spec is u eighter catch them and kill them, or they do the same. The only difference is that any thief no matter how bad can catch u off guard in wvw ;p

Im playing my mesmer from the start, but i was mostly doing pve content, but since i got over most of it, i have been trieing wvw/pvp for past few weeks.
Im playing a condition(confusion) mesmer atm, tried some other specs but i cant immagine playing w/o investing in toughness, and thats only besauce of thiefs.

So, im asking for some tips how to kill off thiefs (the good ones, not the heartseeker spamming ones) in wvw. even with 1900 toughness, they do ALOT of dmg, but thats not even the problem. In a 20 sec long fight, ill mby have sight of the thief for 4 sec, and he is still able to damage me even if i cant see him. Now i know part of the reason is culling, but there has to be a way to counter it.
And in event he actually takes a bit too much dmg, he can just disengage never to be seen again.

Any tips are welcome, ty.
