and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.”
With all respect, I see an issue here that worries me -
Guilds with members on multiple servers will have no way to do missions together. They cannot WvW together, can only go into EOTM if they are the same color that week (and the mission allows it) and can only send small parties of guildees into PvP together at a time.
You are taking what is the most social and fun part of our guild’s week and basically telling us we cant do it week one – and wont be able to ongoing if the RNG gods don’t favor us week to week.
A lot of my members are looking forward to opening guild halls and want to be a part of the process (as a team) to do so. To them – and to me – that includes the PVE guild mission portion.
Even after two years, guild missions are something we look forward to every week. Guild member logins and participation more than double on the nights we do missions. They may not be hard (we REALLY need new pve guild missions), but they are something we look forward to more than any other night of the week.
At the same time, I do see us wanting to do a little WvW and PVP to supplement our missions, but missions we can ALL do in the world of Tyria are very important to us.
Please reconsider and “reroll” so that we have at least one option in PVE.
Hi there, I constantly find myself dissatifsied with the camera position since the recent changes – becasue all my characters are at different heights! If they were all the same it would be perfect but as it stands now I’m adjusting the camera pretty often.. I wondered if you might be able to make the settings per character rather than per account? That way it could be set once for each and left alone after that. Thanks.
Well, there’s absolutely no way to get back in to a closed CoE, I’ll tell ya that much.

remove ICD and take it back to 1 stack per block or leave ICD and make it 3 stacks instead of 2.

If you’re getting Courage, you might consider pairing it with Moonshine for 4g more.
Another great skin for guardians at a good price is Cobalt… a greatsword with blue flames.

At work. Can anyone confirm if they stealth fixed the 180 bonus toughness for shield yet?
What shield?
Speculating is a harsh mistress. I think her name is Loviatar.
I’ve been browsing the price drops. Hammer went from 1300g to 350g, what savings!

a fantasy world is what its creators make of it, there is no “Tolkien´s mandatory guide to boring copycat scenarios”.
Also, aren´t you a bit late to this party?
Its like no one on these forums has even tried buffed Dhuumfire. I’m getting 2k burning damage while in Shroud, plus the torment, plus condies I’ve already dumped on them. With epidemic in WvW and signet of spite it massacres 5 targets at once.
I’ll laugh if bosses suddenly start using convert-condition-to-boons skills.
its ok at least you didnt lose your fractal level
You should have sent the report instead of closing it.

I know OP means well and is trying to help, but as someone who dislikes abbreviations (I know I’m in the minority here), I’ll stick to spelling things out completely for clarity’s sake.

HoT Price Feedback + Base game included [merged]
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns
Posted by: hibari.9836
The HoT expansion costs $50, available only bundled with a “free” copy of the core game.
When the core game goes on sale, it costs $10. We can thus pretty fairly feel that the “freebie” in the bundle is a $10 bonus value.
But the practical upshot for those of us who own the game already is this: by including the core game for “free” ANet has tipped their hand that they’ve effectively padded out the price of the expansion by 10$ (the cost of the core game at its lowest price) over what it might otherwise need to be.
You know what else costs $10? Extra character slots. Which is exactly what current players of the game do want and need with the expansion.
If ANet can afford to “give away” one “free” $10 value item with the $50 purchase of HoT, why can’t they do it with another? The value, monetarily, is the same.
This, I think, is why so many of us feel so slighted. Getting the $10 value of the core game is nice for new players, but it’s a thumbing of the nose at existing players who ANet must know would not want to spend $10 in that way. It leaves current (and often very loyal and long-term) players feeling like they pretty much have to subsidize the bonus value being offered to new players, while they themselves are left out in the cold, not given the one thing they really want which, mathematically, is a simple even swap out: an additional character slot.
The idea, certainly, is to generate more income by getting players to spend out on character slots separately. However from the consumer side of things, we can all see that if ANet can afford to give one $10 value freebie that they could just as well give another. It doesn’t make us feel like we are getting a fair value for our money. It makes us feel snubbed, taken advantage of, and resistant to buying anything.
Neither. Go Vigil and stay at the “Forewarned is Forearmed” mission to kill rats for the weapon master achievements.
When it’s ready.
Expected reply:
Well, we feel the planning stage has taken way more time then anticipated, so we are using prefab castles mostly to speed up the rebuilding effort.
We are putting up the scaffolding now and the barges are bringing in materials just to make us able to pour concrete to build fundations as fast as we can mix it up then sit and harden them for approximately 2 weeks and cast a fireball to remove the wood, and unfold the castles and defences and you’ll be happy to notice:
Voilá, to be seen here: The new Lion’s Arch:
Done… as good as new. And making sure they are all nice and prefab makes replacing them much easier and convinient, and possibly cheaper if LA was to ever be attacked again. Of course develping this cost a huge amount of funds, so if you want any furniture or inventory: Please make sure you buy it at your nearest Black Lion TP.
Let’s hope our Cantha ordered new fountain arrives in time for the opening… They tend to still use ships… But as we already knew portals are fast. but since we lost the portal to Kamadan to hungry stone-eating entities we have no choice to hope for good weather on this specific part… We are negotiating with Asura’s and Canthans about the replacement of the Gate to Kamadan. But unfortunately this if taking more time and expenses then previously expected and consequently the costs of the fountain are higher then expected, so we will have no other choice then to raise BLTP taxes by 2% permanently.
Thanks for your attention and We hope you like the new LA.

Yep today, mobs dropped loot for me. And yesterday.
Good times indeed
So, I’m sure many of you watched the Ventari specialization stream today. I’m going to avoid talking about the actual focus of the stream in this topic because there were many teasers that seemed to have gone unnoticed by viewers. One of the biggest teasers, in my opinion, was the one that was right in front of our very eyes throughout the entire stream.
If you look at the image attached, you will see a close-up of Roy. His shirt IS the teaser. This comfortable looking Guild Wars themed shirt appears to have one image on the corner. For greater viewability…view-ability….more… easy to see, I have enhanced this image and flipped the color scheme. It would appear to be an engineer riding a horse mount. Why engineer? Well, my guess is because they wanted to show off parts of the new specialization, and what better way than by including the engineer class’ new weapon!?
Also, while I unfortunately could not snap a picture in time for it… during the stream, they introduced several player theories on screen. One of them dealt with Ventari mounts. At this time, Rubi and Roy laughed it off, but Rubi’s eyes fell upon the emblem on Roy’s snazzy GW shirt. One can only assume that this was her way of telling the player-base that we were not far off in our guesses.
Anyways, this clearly confirms the introduction of mounts for the Heart of Thorns expansion. If you have any comments, concerns, or other confirmations you would like to share, feel free to in this topic.
I also want to mention that I have speculation to believe these shirts will also be released around the same time as the expansion. Hopefully, we will be able to purchase a special edition in order to get one of these shirts as either a physical or digital item.

Dear Guild Wars 2 community,
Hear me out for a moment.
Like myself you may accumulate a lot of ’’JUNK’’ ie. worthless materials and upgrade components. I’m tired of individually selling these items.
I would like the option to ‘’List items as junk’’.
This would remove a chore none of us enjoy doing. Please bump this post so people can see our suggestion.

http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/26vke4/boss_blitz_scaling_revelead/ is the only legit research I’ve seen. It suggests that dead players count.
The information on the wiki is based on very old information. Scaling was changed at some point during season 1 due to zergs being able to instantly kill bosses before they actually scaled. Originally, you didn’t count towards scaling until you dealt damage while in the event’s area. To fix that, they simply made all players within the area count.
