Things are more fun when everyone can enjoy them, even if they arraive late to the party of have less time for it.
A joke is meant to be told to others. A good meal tastes better shared. Multiplayer games are usually more fun than playing alone. a kid who gets a new bike and gloats to other about it, and doesn’t let them try it is considered a jerk.
When they re-released the festival maks in GW1 it was a good thing, because everyone gets to enjoy them.
If they never, ever, bring these back it’ll be a bad thing.
They’ll be resources spent modeling something only some will enjoy.

Doing the same as others do will get people to like GW2 if they do not like other MMOs?

In GW1 we had to lick the walls of each map to discover map, as areas were not discovered all at once as asection, but as a ‘drawn area’, like a ‘fog of war’ in a RTS game.
