Good chance this is nothing more than a well disguised troll post.

My problem is the lack of communication and feedback from Anet. When it comes to launching a product of this magnitude, it’s not a good idea to keep your prospective customers in the dark ESPECIALLY when they are alarmed/concerned.

I think the pricing structure is a complete mess and not well thought of. It would be less offensive if it was something like $50 upgrade for long time supporters and $60 for the bundle.

Ele pro tip. Just because your health bar is full does not mean that you should ignore water attunement. Use it to heal your teammates. Similarly using magnetic aura to protect your team. Ele is the least selfish class in the game that is often played the most selfishly.

I can t believe there are soloQ eles running cleansing water instead of powerful aura. More victories are experienced by those who are unselfish. I know it’s hard in soloQ coz you’re put with a bunch of strangers. But those same 4 strangers are needed to win so might as well be useful and help your teammates succeed.

I have no problem with pve lowbies but I’m just a bit curious about the Lvl 1 that end up in my team when solo queuing ranked.

They get flamed and insulted by pugs for being a noob lowbie but what fascinates me about them is that they know map rotations, small and large scale combat. Often, they carry the same people that insulted them for being a noob.

I’ve never fought along a Lvl 1 who didn’t know what to do. Is it safe to assume that Lvl 1 characters are veteran pvpers? The lowest lvl character I could pvp with is lvl 2.

This sounds like a person I was teamed up against earlier. In soloQ comp really isn’t that important in my experience. If there’s another of my class or 3 of my class I really don’t care. If you play a better strategy like not sitting on home all match you can still win.

There are people that queue solo ranked who are like me and swap to improve our chances of winning. I specifically mentioned swapping out of multiple thieves/mesmers/necros/rangers.

I’m thankful when my teammates swap because the act itself is an indication they care and are team oriented. We end up having a greater likelihood of winning

I dont know what classes you play but a lot of people are just like you. And if you think comp isn’t important in ranked, I won’t argue and just let you linger in your ignorance.

To summarize: condi’s are effective at low levels, but not at high levels. The OP even states that condi’s cannot carry the lower player effectively at high levels.

Not sure. On his first post, he said he runs a guild that teaches pvp and that conditions are too effective in low tiers.

From the gist of his post, his low tier guildies are getting owned by condis and that condis are bad for the game coz it’s not fun for them. I think he wants devs to cripple the effectiveness of condition damage so his low tier guildies could run brain dead dps builds coz they don’t like wasting traits/utilities on cleansing

Yet still no reponse. To me that’s the equivalent of asking to speak to a supervisor and the attendant saying ‘sure!’ walk off, and never return.

Listening means taking data, having meetings, discussing things and making decisions on a company level. Your analogy is an unfair one. Getting a supervisor takes one person to get one person.

And even then, if you had a supervisor who had nothing to say because this affects company wide policy this supervisor wouldn’t be able to help you anyway.

Patience is a virtue. Governements and companies don’t work on the same time scale individuals do.

Mate, Colin could have said a number of things to calm things down like ’we’re looking into this’. He was on the forums commenting on ascended changes while completely ignoring their forum in an uproar.

Even Gaile could have returned with a status update. This isn’t the 19th century. We can communicate from pretty much everywhere. Saying they’re too busy to even acknowledge from someone with some clout, or keep us up to date simply holds no water.

Nope you’re wrong, the more thieves, the greater chance of losing. I admire really good thieves but there are far too few of those. Most are bad.

I think a 2 rev, scrapper, chronobunker and tempest/druid or reaper would do well against the 2rev, 2chrono tempest/druid comp. Reapers could also destroy rev once theyre in shiro

Played 2 rounds for the first time. Luckily, my teammates knew what they were doing and were helpful giving directions. The first game had a fair amount of pvp combat. Second game I just followed the team to rush lord. I don’t think I’ve encountered any of the opposition.

I know this is the only expansion for pvp but I was wondering if you guys can include Capricorn again, minus the water combat. Or turn it to a TDM.

You guys used to introduce new pvp maps more often i.e. temple, spirit watch, skyhammer, courtyard. It would be awesome if we got more than this map.

Can’t believe there are people in the forum that believe personal score is an indication of skill or a measurement of contributions made for the team.

I’ve said many many many times, especially in-game that it was amateurish for the devs to even post personal score. You’d expect developers to spot that error and eliminate or at least alter the stats presented. It just confuses noobs to over inflate their score by zerging/double capping and what not. It just confuses noobs to do what they’re NOT supposed to.

Only one event must take place for personal score to matter. And it’s something that hardly ever occurs and hasn’t happened to me in over a year – a tied score when timer expires.
