Took me 70ish tries to Light Up. Each failure was a reminder to look out for something else.

Like you said, don’t be afraid to tweak builds to help. And with something like this every little bit does help.

The reason I can’t pull off a Steal against them is that I’ve never quite figured out where their pockets are while staring up at them.

The better way of doing it appears to be avoiding as many of the mobs as possible. They made an area where you more or less try to avoid the majority of it.

BLINDING THE PLAYER IS BAD (and can cause headaches, burn eyes and in general maybe some siezures)
Showing the actual aoe indicators (that shouldnt be half in the ground nor should they be the color of the ground) is very important, but visual or audio ques also help a lot.

These two annoy me a great deal. I’m somewhat miffed at the ticket farming, but the gold and flush fodder are great.

Haven’t quite gotten the last fight down, but I feel I’m progressing. Trying to shake this feeling that lately the content has turned into busy work. I had more fun in WvW than achievement chasing.

Did an entire generation of players never learn to enjoy competition? I don’t remember all this “hax, cheats, glitches, how can we skip this, this isn’t fair, this isn’t balanced, why is this in the game” talk 10 years ago. Sometimes you make mistakes, sometimes you flat out lose, and badly at that. Learn, improve, and move on.

If your best is better than someone else’s bad week, you go up. If your bad week is passed by someone else’s good week, you go down. Just do your thing, wherever you end up.

Keep in mind that it was one person ... speaking his mind...a lack of respect and sportsmanship, it isn’t necessarily indicative of the entire server.

Just remember, sometimes someone speaking their mind is speaking out of one of the few holes that is not contained in the same area as their mind.

I blame Post-It Notes for people labeling each other and labeling groups, big and small. It was too easy to do that before those. I do it too, often, but try to watch out for it when I post posts notes or not.

Body Shot needs a certain I don’t know what. The only time I use it is when I’m with a party and we’re working something down with focus fire. Actually, that’s a decent time to use it.

I think it would be counterproductive to have anything combine Dazed and Confused. One does damage when you use a skill, and the other doesn’t let you use a skill.

I’m not sure if this is a serious post or not, by the original poster or myself.

Why didn’t you say grass? There’s nothing wrong with grass. Even slangy grass. The from the earthy ground grass. Not sylvari. We’re not grass. We’re woodier than grass. I think.

Good old grass. And young grass. Even middle aged grass is cool. Except when it’s too cool. Or too hot.

But grass proves that it is in fact easy being green. Except when it’s not green. Sometimes it’s yellow. Sometimes it’s brown. Sometimes it’s even gray or black, but not for long, then that’s sort of ashy.

But most grass is green and lawny. And there’s been so much "get off my lawn" a moderator showed up. Seriously, worry about your own lawn, unless your neighbor is paying you rent. Or borrowed your mower. Or didn’t share his grass.

Chest thumping hurts. And there’s some turret thingie that gets thumpy on everybody. It hurts too. Am I supposed to be thumping other people’s chests or looting them? I’m confused again.

I just beat her 8 orbs on my condi P/D thief.

This wouldn’t have been nearly as bad if, and I guess I’ll say it on the forum for at least the fifth time: the red AoE circles weren’t so hard to see, turning off post processing was a requirement for me (MY EYES AUGH), the obstructed thing with the orbs, and having the cool down period of hiking back or waiting for a rez or just waiting in line.

I LIKE the concept of the fight. Graphics and some clunky controls feel, things beyond our direct control, not so much. Bloody frustrating overall.

It took me about 70 or so tickets. Every 10 fights or so I noticed I was getting better and better at dealing with each thing. I’m used to the old brute force method of learning. Yeah, stuff happens. Frequently. I don’t want to see Liadri happen ever again.

At least, not for now, for sure.

I float around #200 NA for AP. I have only one thing to say about this change...

It was my own golem blueprints, whew. I did check to make sure all the catapults and carts were built before going back to make the golem at the supply camp.

I wish I could say I went down laughing, but it was more of a "ha ha.. ha.. sigh.. oh wait, I can waypoint.. oh.. too late.. sigh.. ha ha ha BAKA!" down laughing. Next time I’ll attempt to reorder that to "waypoint.. ha ha.. baka.."

Stealth’s problem is less about being overpowered than it is being easier for a thief’s victim to blame besides how they handled the situation.

I think there are going to be some hiccups as we readjust to a matchup where we can’t get away with some of the really bad habits that have sunk in in T4 and there’s a learning curve for newer commanders who’ve never really had to have the good habits. By and large, what I’ve seen out there so far has been very encouraging though.

I wouldn’t complain if the rate or direct damage of my pew pew pew bleedy stealthy gig got amped up.

Thieves are frustrating. It’s practically a core mechanic. Their survivability is based on not being hit. When someone uses their move and misses, that annoys them. You run after a thief, and poof, they’re gone, or behind you, or where are they? Annoying. Got burst down because you weren’t paying attention, stuff was on cooldown, or you weren’t using a build with an escape option? Annoying. A P/D shoots you on and off for 3 minutes and then gets a stealth stomp on you after you find help and then run into enemies? RAWR!

Annoyed people tend to vent. The forum is a convenient place for it. Better here than at some random stranger on the street, right?

And then, you get the people who LIKE to annoy other people. Thief has the tools for that.
