Key word 4 times, if he gets downed that much then its his team and the game mechanic carrying him. Which makes it hard to take pvp seriously when stuff like that happens.

SF has weak time slots for 20hours per day. Then again, it is true, SF only has SF to blame for losing this given the opportunity we had with them playing terribly all week, we should have gotten at least 20k lead in points if people would all get teamspeak on SF and work together instead of following paranoid psychos that think other people want to try and “own” the server.

NSP tried to do the same but got called out on it, and their roaming guilds that don’t normally care about PPT actually rose up to carry their server to silver. I still like my pals on HoD and SF, but as whole servers, you’re still a bunch of cowards for tanking to dodge silver league.

Ahh we never had a chance at silver, we were rank 20 before the leagues started and hadn’t been above rank 18 since august. Not sure why you threw our name in there. Complaining about HoD not going to silver will get you nowhere anyway since only a set number of servers could be in silver at one time. So either you would have got NSP or IOJ or HoD but you would have been complaining either way.

@ Wukunlin thats true but it was still a waste of time, he clearly saw my description and still joined when i know for a fact there was 3 other parties on LFG doing casual runs for the same dungeon.

Bam, I got infracted for that post but didn’t get banned.

German community coordinator Ramon Domke replied to him, that it is temporarily due to accumulation of infraction points and will expire somewhen in near future.

Skyhammer is the god’s grace of this game and will boost the population, put it in teamQ or I quit.

but i heard a lot of people do not even want that map in solo arena.

some are even boycotting skyhammer in solo arena by away from keyboard during the match or even quitting the match.

i am fine playing skyhammer in 8 vs 8 hotjoin arena though.

We need 18 vs 18 for skill based combat, and enlarge skyhammer.

Im pretty sure we all agree that skyhammer should be a one hit kill and give stealth and stability and a hammer to all nearby allies.

I just throw on my food buffs and go roaming I don’t think about if stuff is fair for my enemies because I sure as hell know they aren’t thinking about me.

No responses from anet in over 24 hours. The only responses we got are from Allie who in the grand scheme of things is unimportant (no offense and all) since she isnt the one thats going to be making the changes nor is she one of the designers of the class.

Would love for someone else who can actually answer some of the questions we have about the direction of the class since unfortunately Allie isnt in a potion to do so since that isnt her job.

That’s not fair. People are providing a rather hostile environment so that Allie has to watch what she says.

Look what happened when Allie did reply: People fixated on one thing and prattled on and on about permastowing pet in favor of aspects. Now they’re fixating on her usage of “power creep”.

There are certain people here that are so fixated on their own personal goals for the class that they aren’t willing to have a proper discussion and are also preventing one.

I don’t blame Allie for not replying because whenever she does we essentially attack her without having an actual discussion. She’s also the liaison between us and the devs and unfairly takes a lot of the brunt.

That being said, this can’t be a discussion if the devs don’t ask us for feedback on the specific things they’re looking for. It’s too one-way (something more like the Fractals CDI would be wonderful). Some transparency with regards to their short-term goals for the class and what they would like to prioritize would be much appreciated. Unfortunately, I’m sure they have a lot of work themselves and there’s a ton of pages to read through here.

(I have to admit, I am also feeling disappointed. People became excited because we thought Ranger might get some much needed love, but I think Prysin is right about the devs having lost enthusiasm for this thread. This is most likely going to be as underwhelming as the underwater-buffs-patch.)

I think you completely missed my point which was she simply isnt a class designer or the guy thats gonna be in charge of fixing rangers. So at the end of the day as much as she would like to give yes or no answer or discuss changing the vision of the ranger class, she cant without having to go talk to the people with the answers.

SoR shows us there is obviously no such thing as a stable community wvw when there is prizes to be had.

Warrior and Guardians are the best at kitten near everything. You never have to worry about nerfs when you play Anets favorite class (WAR)

Everything about the ruins is boring and unrewarding. No one is ever at the ruins so you end up sitting there bored just to cap and repeat. You can’t do it solo. No rewards, you are better off at camps or towers atleast you can run into people at those places. People just tend to avoid the ruins, they really don’t belong in WvW as they are now.

I would rather the stat buff be gone completely but im ok with where its at atm.

I still think we are missing quite a bit of dev feedback here. Specifically in regards to the pet damage and leash nerfs. There had to be a reason for that, and obviously all of the posts here suggesting more pet usefulness will be tainted by whatever reason caused the nerfs in the first place.

In fact, prior to said nerfs I do not recall reading many complaints about pets. There has always been the survivability issue, and to an extent getting in the way during certain times, however nothing to the level we have now.

Oh, there were complaints about them, but only in sPvP, nowhere else. That’s what led to all the pet nerfs, QQing from sPvP about a class who is only good at 1v1s and holding points…which led to the destruction of the class everywhere else. It’s also the MAIN reason why I have always hated sPvP and the sPvP community.

Spend that anger as energy to lobby to try and get Anet to fully separate Pve/Wvw/spvp balancing instead of hating people and a game mode that hasnt done anything to you.

Lets just end the spvp talk and get back to rangers

I have killed him 5 days in a row and gotten one exotic so nothing good yet. I am necro so I am going to need at least 3 weapons from him and then maybe underwater but yeah that will take ages.

Did you get it from the big chest or the UI chest in the corner of your screen?

I got it from the daily (UI) chest instead of an actual chest the weapon box popped up and replaced it. I still havent picked a weapon since I dont run condition builds on any of my characters and dont know who to use it on. I want to choose the GS for my guardian but that would be so random on him lol.
