I dont like half of the thief changes but luckily i stopped playing him in september. The changes to thieves kind of ruin evasion and stealth builds on a class that is already lacking build diversity and survivability. The thief class is already at a low point.

Warrior hammer changes were probably needed, although i dont agree with nerfing the direct damage of the hammer skills. The changes to the trait lines probably had to happen like i said, it and maybe even reducing earthshaking dmg, but dont reduce the damage of #4. The hammer is already slow.

Also will you guys please test removing the root of the second GS warrior skill? It makes it kind of hard to hit anything with half a brain in wvw and mobs in dungeons can simiply move out of range easily.

Wish Rangers got even more changes but the ones they got are cool. Hopefully you can increase the base damage of greatsword autoattack or skills in general.

Also Ranger pets still need hp increase in wvw and the auto for sword needs to be looked at. Power builds still arent very viable in pvp on rangers as they are on other classes. Also whats your stance on the shortbow getting it ranged reverted back to 1200?

Whoever mentioned alliances is a smart man and we should discuss how that would work more.

Should the alliances be the merger of lower tier servers together say SF+FC+ET into one super server of sexyness?

or should it be a lower tier + middle tier+ plus upper tier server?

The best solution from the standpoint of stability and population balancing would be giving each Alliance an equal cross section of servers from all tiers, from top to bottom. So in NA it should be three Alliances, with eight servers in each, ranging from (EDIT: Seriously, Mr. Kitten Filter?) Tee-One to Tee-Eight.

Once set up though, any server alliance groups should be fixed and stable, because people are going to build up their webs of trust and deploy shared resources at an Alliance level, and changing those associations would be really disruptive.

I didnt think of that. That is interesting, im sure it would be hell trying to figure out how to make that work with the maps we have.

If there are specific skills that you’re having trouble with, then that would be far more productive to suggest changes to than eliminating a big dynamic of the game just because you don’t like it.

They make a ton of sense. It doesnt make sense for someone to still be alive after you kill them or for a whole group of people to res if one person dies. Or the fact that its quicker to res than it is to get stomped.

Not all of us has tons of people in our servers to zerg rush down bosses with improved HPs in 15 minutes

I think what he was saying is that HoD had no reason to field as many numbers against DH as they have against SF since you weren’t a real threat to them. So keeping that in mind we could very well be fighting a different HoD than you fought a few days ago since I assume they came out the gate taking us seriously.

That being said it was a competitive weekend HoD and it was fun and you have given my server stuff to think about and shown us more ways to improve. The few times I was on this weekend I saw some interesting tactics and you do seem to have a guild or two that specializes in zergbusting.

Firstly I’ll say, I do not play in US, I have though. I do not play in Gold or Bronze league, I play silver league EU.

I just found funny how the bronze ones were linked as how the matches should be. When the objective spread tells about very passive and boring gameplay. Gold league match up objective spread tells about the actual healthy gameplay from objective point of view.

How the objective spread is in these match up is very common for low tier match up. It is exactly same in lowest league of EU aswell, where I have played. As I am watching the maps for these 2 match ups I see noone having objectives on enemies borderland, and noone has anything from the enemy in EB either.

This is very common in the lower tiers where they have people just for 1 border and EB. They stack their own border and make sure they have everything in there, and all 3 servers do the same. Result: everyone ticking 1 full home border and their own side of EB, equal points, rarely venturing to raid the enemy lands. And this happens for majority of the ticks, obviously there are other caps here and there, but this is the equiblirium fluctuated around-
These 2 match-ups just perfect examples of this.

Then as I compare it to the third post, which seems to be the highest match-up,
JQvBGvSoR I see totally different objective spread. Every server has multiple objectives on every map, fluctuating around the standard: every server has their own in every borderland and EB, like briar/refuge/bay.

So there are 2 ways for equal match up from the scores here. The lowest league one:
- all servers stack max players for their home border and cap it to the full with little opposition. Once this is capped they think about moving to another border. The standard situation is: all 3 servers have home border fully capped and own side in EB.
The highest league one:
- All servers have a presence in all maps. Everyone tries to hold their own corner of the borderland while poking forward from there. Resulting in more fighting against opponents instead of just holding homeborder against nothing and having such overwhelming force in homeborder + siege preparation.

I do not think anyone can say the lowest tier equibilirium is the healthy one here.

And NO I am not talking about blobbing, zerging, gvg, necromancers, warriors, permastealth thieves, arrow carts. I am talking about the general PPT metagame that is obviously shown in these 2 very different styles.

You can guess all you want without actually playing in one of these matches your guesses mean nothing. SF/DH/FC has been anything but boring and passive and it has been healthy match up. You just wasted a nice amount of time talking about something you know nothing about. We have constantly traded assets in EB and BL if you we’re watching that during NA time you would see that.

the recharge time is 60 seconds so it would be another 50 seconds or 52 seconds before it can be used again.

Season One and the removal of Matchup forums as the end of WvW for me.

So you say in one post that you don’t know if SF or DH get the outmanned buff in BLs in an attempt to add some extra sadness to that tearful post.

I come in and say that we do get that buff at times and you get all emotional at my response, GG but please stop the QQ about SF. It got old a long time ago, we are only Rank 19 holding our own against 17 and a server one rank below us. Stop trying to make it seem like we are a T1 server rolfstomping you all. I would hate to see all the water works that must happen when you face servers higher than us.

Loot kinda sucks, but atleast I have completed all his achievements so i dont have to worry about going back.

Knowledge and skill is the only thing you need to counter thieves in this game. IF you have niether you tend to rage. These days thieves arent even a problem compared to warriors. If you are seriously losing to thieves to the point you come an shed your tears on the forums L2P.

Man stealth isnt that hard to counter if you actually know anything about the thief class and your not ful glass cannon yourself. But its easier to come to the forums and complain than it is to get good.

Season one just showed how unbalanced WvW populations and coverage was, even within each league. This was known before the seasons of course, but the season made it unbearably obvious.

NSP tried to do the same but got called out on it, and their roaming guilds that don’t normally care about PPT actually rose up to carry their server to silver. I still like my pals on HoD and SF, but as whole servers, you’re still a bunch of cowards for tanking to dodge silver league.

Ahh we never had a chance at silver, we were rank 20 before the leagues started and hadn’t been above rank 18 since august. Not sure why you threw our name in there. Complaining about HoD not going to silver will get you nowhere anyway since only a set number of servers could be in silver at one time. So either you would have got NSP or IOJ or HoD but you would have been complaining either way.

My apologies, there were three servers accused of tanking at the time and I think I got SF mixed up with KN (who ended up just being hit with massive population drops instead of actually tanking).

Either way, I’m definitely not complaining. Most of our matches will be against tougher opponents anyways and I much prefer that than roflstomping servers below us. I do, however, question the testicular fortitude of players who would rather dip than play. Why play a game if there’s no challenge to it? To each their own, I guess. I can’t see any fun in buying a game, then immediately setting it to Easy and feeling good about succeeding at it.

You cant put account or soulbound stuff in guildbanks which limits its use.

I have it from a reliable source that there is 18 people playing spvp.

We need a escape rope thats comes down out of nowhere that we can climb and automatically back to spawn. That is the only escape skill we need, it works in pokemon and will work here.

So you guys are saying that champ train and dungeon running grinding should be the only way to get legendaries. Grinding for gold and buying it or making it not the superior way to do things.

This doesnt affect you nor does it invalidate the legendary that no one forced you to grind for. This is aimed at us pvp players who wouldnt have a chance to get a legedary otherwise.

Some of you need to get over your pointless hate for all things pvp and just continue playing the game how you want, because thats what we will be doing.
