Race change: No, much too complicated and I totally think not many eople will buy< it. Least not enough to justify the amount of work needed to realise it. new characterslot only cost 800 gems, so if you want to ‘change race’ start a new character.
Get experience scroll and buy crafting mats so you can level up without any effort.

I really like what they did with the AC Story mode and how they had an intro with Rytlock telling people what was going on. I would really like to see this in every dungeon, it would be a good polish for the game.

I love this game, and I think there should be a forum category where people can praise the devs. Only positive statements should be allowed there. The idea is to give the devs somewhere to read praise and thanks. A thank you forum, when ever a dev feels kinda down, they can go there, and read how they have done such a great job.

I’m sure this has been suggested before but it’d be so good if pet’s names were remembered when you swap from pet to pet.

If I wanted to play platform games I’d go and join the peasants and buy an X-Box or PS3. How about something else other than SAB A-Net???

I just delete my continue coins to free up bank space (along with that princess tiara and wig rubbish). It hits my backpack and it’s drag and drop out of existence.

Would love an option in the game setup that said “ignore SAB and all SAB related items”.

We don’t need more useless clutter in this game. It has enough with all of the garbage content the developers keep pushing out. I’m sorry, but I do not support this suggestion.

Agree. It is good to see threads like this getting created over and over again, hopefully Anet will understand some day how much people want to have this feature for the guild roster

Agree with that one I also have a guild with many inactive players.

Hi, I just recently wanted to clean up my guild roster (347 members) of inactive players. I noticed as I was going through the list, there was no last log in function. Since there is no function for last log in date I don’t want to kick anyone from the guild. There could be someone I am getting rid of that last logged in 1 week ago. Meaning they are still active. Please implement some function to show last log in date for guild members!

Looked but didn’t find anything on this, so started a thread on it myself, so pardon me if it’s already been done and I just missed it.

But it occurred to me that we have “Rich” nodes of all ores, (which require less resources to make an ingot, [2 ores per 1 ingot]) but not for trees, that require more resources per up-step, (3-4 logs per 1 plank.)

And now, with the “Ascended” crafting making its way into the game, A WHOLE LOT of wood is required for a good bit of it.

Would it be relatively plausible to consider a " RICH " tree node?

I’m not asking for entire orange groves sized nodes here mind you… but simply a tree node that would definitely give you 2-3 re-uses. Something that you are kinda guaranteed to get between 9-12 logs from.

Make them just as sparse as Rich Ore nodes… maybe call them “AGED [tree type] Saplings”… make them the same appearance as a normal sapling, only slightly larger.

I considered small groves of regular saplings.. like 3-4 of them bunched up in a tight space. But dismissed that idea as that is extra load on the game. So, I’d stick with the “Aged” idea more.

Just a thought to kick around.

BTW: I am aware that sometimes a tree node WILL give you an extra re-use, giving you a few extra logs on occasion, or sometimes just one use and give you an extra log or two. But considering the amount of wood required, that kind of small potatoes compared to ores, don’t you think?

Yes, i agree. Why this option there? Anet don’t feel this is important. That is not an error, or something like that. Over a year that option is there. They don’t feel this is urgent. But this is urgent!

But with party list have more other problems.
- Frequently enough you can not invite your guild mates from chat window.
- You can not kick members when you are in WvW.

I am a Guild Wars 1 Veteran and i am REALLY missing the old Guild Halls.
I suggest The GW2 Team to reinvent them.

Why?
1. You have a room for your guild only. You can hang out with them in a private room and have a good time just with your guild.
2. You can meet up for Events/Missions etc with your guild.2
3. There could be Guild Missions / Bosses / Raids starting in this hall only for your Guild.
This would create a more important Role for Guilds and their Teamwork.
4. Merchants/Bank/Crafting tables in the Guild Hall would be awesome so you can go back to you hall and manage your things without running around in cities crowding them. You also could have a group conversation without filling the Guild Chat neither the city chats.
5. A PvP System like GW1 was awesome. – the feeling to defend your home castle/town/hall or to attack and conquer others.
6. GW2 could have way more options to personalize your hall
7. It would be a great thing to spend your guild points for so you create your own castle/hall for the work you do in the Guild.

These are only a few advantages a Guild Hall would bring to you.
I am sure you guys have more and even better ideas.
So feel free to tell us about your ideas about a Guild Hall in GW 2!

It’s not just Charr. I reported a change to my Female Asura’s hair ribbon 3 days before this thread began. It was originally dark purple with pink trim. I dyed my armor to be a perfect match. Now the ribbon is darker purple, and the trim is yellow. I checked it out on a Total Makeover Kit and ALL the ribbons for my hair style are now trimmed in yellow. Oop! Ack! Thpppt!

This could (mostly) be fixed if you would just let us dye the accessories.

I suggest that if you remove your head armor, you have one or two dye channels that can be used to color your hair accessories.

Furthermore, if you remove your coat or leggings, you should likewise have one or two dye channels that can be used to color your undies.

So since launch, when I selected the color for the metal rings on this hair color, it was gray metal color and only with a hint of purple. Now after the patch, it is bright purple and I hope it is not supposed to be that way. My charr look ridiculous and I can’t afford a hair style kit atm.

I have the same issue on my charr. The rings were ebony and are now green!

Yes, please! Having a small interface due to having a large monitor and wanting to see more by making things smaller makes the trading post almost completely unreadable. It’s utterly annoying, and has been like this since its release.

I’ve been asking about this since the TP was first released. I can’t read the text half the time in the TP due to this bug. Come on ANet, get your fingers out and fix it please.

I have just upgraded to a higher res monitor and so changed the size of everything in game. Everything looks really nice … except the horrible Trading Post font. If the UI is set to anything other than normal, the font in the TP just loses all clarity.

I think someone spoke of this a few months ago. I know it’s not a game breaking bug, but surely it’s an easy fix?

Can we get this AFK thing sorted because it’s really making Sunless much harder than it should be. If people are AFK for longer than 5mins they should be removed from the server and placed back on the login screen.

Why hasn’t this system been implemented at all yet?

I actually managed to change my cat name to Catninja. Pernamently. After changing pets it didn’t reset. Later i changed it to Zia ( Bastion :> ). I have no clue how did I do it, i’ll try figure it out.

“Please enjoy this complimentary of our guild” is nice, but what if these things could be leveraged in such a way as to help organize server-wide events?

“Grenth run tonight; 6pm server time! Come join!”

I promise you they won’t because it would screw with personal story progress, cultural armor, and achievements and it’s not something they want to deal with. I’d get used to the fact that you can either live with your character, delete it, or make a new one, but they will likely never have race changes.

Not every game is WoW and has these things. Being able to change race takes out any sort of importance that people have on choosing their characters starting options, personal story choices, and progress in general.

Take for example, I make a human. I select the choices and choose to save the orphanage over the hospital. Ok cool, great. I then go and join order of whispers, cool great. Down the road I want to change my race. Ok, how do I determine my story options? How do my choices get changed from the specific option I made earlier?

Not to mention but it’d be a huge headache for Anet to do this. They’d have to find a way to retroactively change all of your achievements, gear, story options you made, and story paths.

No. Lol this is a dumb idea and if you really want a new race with the same profession do what me and everyone else does – buy more character slots and make some new characters. I have 3 warriors, 2 rangers, 2 guardians, 2 elementalists, and then 1 of everything else with varied race combinations. I like norn, charr, and human heavy armor – thus the 5 soldier professions.

So do that or live with your choices but I bet you that they never do this (as they’ve mentioned before when this was brought up previously). Also this topic is coming up just as much as mount topics. Some people can’t take no for an answer though I guess.

Like the title says, I am suggesting/requesting more cultural armor sets be added to the game.

Whether they be purchased from the existing cultural armor vendors or new vendors be added I would love to see more cultural armor sets added to the game.

Heck, put them in the gem store and I will buy em (assuming they’re awesome XD)!

I’m a guild leader myself and I like to add the suppressed mail thing can be
very bothersome. It would be cool if guild leaders only had a button where you can send
all your members the same message like say. A guild contest message or a tournament type message. OR weekly gaming meetings for guild bounty and such. Not only that
so we can send out a courtesy email to our inactives.
1. there should be a button for all members or members repping and or members not repping. As well as 2 month inactives.
2. Here’s something on the side note it would be nice to have a color coated bar somewhere in the players name section to let guild leaders / officers know that this person has not logged in for so long like say. Exotic colors for true members who always rep and active gold for guys who rep most of the time and active. green for guys who rep and semi active with in the month. Also yellow for thoughs members who not log in a month. Red for thoughs who not log in for 2 months. There should also have a sorter button for it too. ITwould be nice if we can click on who we want to send emails too. For acourtesy email for the inactives and have a button to boot them after email message sent. Also one that sends to all officers or any other rank you wish to have email sent too. This would save so much time for any one out there trying to maintain a truly active guild. but also to be nice to old members incase they ever do come back and start playing allot more again.

Here’s some Tip I currently use for knowing how to tell who has been inactive for a long time. but this takes allot of effort.
1. Sort the achievement points bar to greatest to lowest points.
2. take a snap shot of the guild roster
3. every two months or so check that roster and compair every members points
from that last snap shot you have made in the previous 2 months. If they have not gained any achievment points then it is safe to say they quit the game entirely and it’s best to boot them. But always give them a nice email letting them know they may return if they would like and having your guild site or page in the mail to keep further contacts if they wish too.

This helps me allot I tend to boot 50+ every two months and adding new players everytime. It’s not easy to do all this when you the guild leader do all that work yourself and it does take allot of time because of suppressed messaging.

I really hope Arena Net likes my suggestion as I know many would benefit from this as well.
