Well, this topic is not to list the improvements that the devs could and should make to the warrior, this topic instead is to make a list of all the inconsistencies that warrior has compared to other classes, i can remember a few right now, but i hope the warrior community could add more to make the list bigger wich im sure it is:
Whirlwind
-Damage from the berserker phantasm of mesmer is greater than the actual Whirlwind of a warrior.
Shield stance
-Engineers have a better blocking shield stance than warriors with less CD , remember one thing here, warrior cant bunker, engineer can, so why warrior has a high cd on this?, should be the opposite, warrior needs to expend a trait in order to make his block cd 24 seconds wich is still HIGHER than an engineers without a trait.
Bulls charge
-Rockets boots of an engineer are better than bulls charge of a warrior, they remove the things that affect the warrior most wich are " immobilized, crippled, and chilled", not only that, they do more damage and have less CD, half less cd with all those features included (more damage and remove those conditions).
Hundred blades
-Guardians have better damage output and a more reliable too comparing greatswords, whirlwind wrath allows movement and has a combo finisher attached and does similar damage to hundred blades, wich is a skill that does not offer combo capabilities and roots the warrior in place, guardians are the tanks they are suppoused to be rooted not the warrior that cant bunker.
Sustain
-Rangers have greater sustain via regeneration and protection mostly regeneration, how is it coherent to have a ranged class bunkering or being a tank while dishing tons of condi damage, while in the mean time we have a warrior wich has heavy plate armor that cant mitigate damage, needs to stay in melee range to do anything and dosent have enought sustain to regenerate all the damage he is suffering to try to catch a ranged class that not only is ranged he is bunkering, wich means he is mitigating/regenerating most of the damage when you manage to catch him.
Forgot to mention rangers added stealth, that is a huge survivality boost to an already survival class.
Bunkering
-Which leads to one of the core things of warrior inconsisntencies: Warrior dosent have acces to bunker, warrior a heavy armor class cant bunker, but light armor classes or medium armor classes are mitigating and enduring more damage than a warrior that has heavy armor, this can not be good, by any reasonable perspective this is wrong.
CC dependant
-Warrior is a class that need to land cc in order to make damage, but the problem is that there are so many stun breakers and teleports in the game that warrior damage output in pvp is lackluster compared to other classes that simply press their damage output skill without the need to do anything else to be able to use it.
I will add to this list anything you people add wich i encourage you to do, so the devs can see many of the things that cause warriors to be in the state they are.

Clearly warriors need 2 handed axes if we were to go off the art for the warrior class, don’t try and tell me that it is a "big 1handed axe’.. that makes it a 2handed axe.
Either that or artwork needs to be updated.

Recently I’m noticing a trend in all the builds that I make, along with the builds from fellow warriors in my guild and on the forums:Fast hands included.
I seem to be unable to make a build that doesn’t include this trait. I find that it is far, far to important. Being able to swap weapons consistently and put out as much utility and control that I can gives me a “unique edge” It gives us extreme utility along with diversity.
We do not generally have “gimmicks” that other classes have. Necros have deathshroud, thieves have stealth, mesmers have clones guardians have heals…ect. We lack a “unique” aspect that allows our class to excel. In general, we are seen as “damage.”
However, looking at class diversity, fast hands is something extremely unique to the warrior as no other class has access to it. To extend that point, I do believe that Warriors function more-so off their weapon sets as opposed to any other class. This is the Warrior -a master of arms-, so it sort of “makes sense” for this ability to be an attractive feature of the class.
Thoughts?

I’d be ok with rerolling to a Human or Sylvari for the sake of making the game easier on the viewers.
Even tho I’m overly attached to my from-launch Asura.
I think it would be nice if EVERY team didn’t NEED a guardian. Surely that is the definition of being overpowered? It is frustrating when you trying to find a pug and you cant find a guardian, or when you solo q and you got no guardian and they have one.
I dont want guardian to be nerfed. But I would like an alternative to be presented in the form of the warrior. I think if you buffed shouts and the tactics trait line they could could end up with a viable warrior bunker build:
1, Shake if off – grant this 4 seconds of stability to all those effected
2, Trait – reviver’s Might – change this to grants aegis to nearby allies when you use a shout (30 second internal cooldown)
3, Swap shrug it off with stronger bowstrings to make it an adept trait.
4, Lower the cooldown of fear me to 60 seconds
Anyone got any other ideas? They should make bunker warrior viable in comparison to guardian BUT must not make dps warriors brokenly op.

These three things in its present form can turn a good pvp build into zero.

You certainly run out of the smoke of the field. But you still a very long blind.
Possible fix
Very simple and correct solution to the problem of blind limit the duration of 1 second(with +50% condition duratation 2 sec). And remove Stacking.
Retaliation

1 Cluster bomb or 1 Pistol whip can eat 6-7k damage from Retaliation.
Engineer can suicide in 1-2 second from Retaliation when cast grenade.
This strange mechanics kill a lot of builds that pretty strong in PvP.
Possible fix
But you just need to add a 1-second cooldown and reflect on attack (not each hit: clusterbomb etk) . This is not reduce defense mechanism. But correct the situation when the attacker receive more damage than target.

Anyone who has been watching the matches will have noticed that the vast majority of players are asura with the odd human. I of course understand that asura are popular for pvp because their small size makes it harder to read their attacks. Problem is that this also makes watching the game less enjoyable because all you see are little asura running around without really seeing their animations well.

The current asura players wouldn’t be at any disadvantage having to make a new character since they wouldn’t need to grind for gear or anything but we would all have a better viewing experience.
Can you ban Sylvari as well? I confuse them with trees.

After several hours on my warrior in hot join and tpvp since last patch i really wanna thanks:
1) The warrior community, for their constant demand of sustain over the months, that really was worthy in the end.
2) Anet, for giving us what we asked.
If you ask “are the warrior class OK now in pvp?”, well for the first time i say yes.
I dont feel weak against any class, and i can fight on par vs anyone now, it’s just who’s better in skills, not in class.
This is some of the things i did yesterday in tpvp (3 hours):
- won ALL the 1v1s against all the classes in game
- won a 2v1 against warrior and ranger
- won a 2v1 against thief and mesmer
- won a 2v1 against mesmer and engi
- hold a point for almost a minute in a 3v1
(in two of the three 2v1 i won a guy from my team came for help at the end of the fight when i already downed one of the 2 guys, helped me for the stomp)
Well all this things were impossible before the last patch for me, but yesterday i really felt like i was doing the difference for my team, and they were all like “hey what is your build???”
By far the best day on my warrior since i started the class!

I find that stances have an incredibly long recharge time of 60 seconds.
Who else wants stance cool down to be reduced?
I’d like to suggest-a trait that reduces stance recharge times by 20%-just like the trait that reduces signet recharge time by 20%.
What does everyone else think?

Second this, their base cd is fine but they really need a trait that provides the option of 20% cd reduction, probably in the Defense or Discipline Master Tier.
I play both Guardian and Warrior, and in WvW at least Guardian Shouts are superior to any utilities a Warrior can slot. A 20% cd reduction still wouldn’t make Stances the equivalent of Guardian Shouts, but would get them close enough.

The whole thief and mesmer classes are basically exploits of broken stealth mechanics and teleport hacks and you guys are worried about a bit of swiftness?
How about teleport stomps? Shadow step stomps? and of course..stealth stomps/distortion stomps..
Sometimes I think some wars deserve to be repeatedly stomped..

Should be an F2 skill, with the ability to traverse the Z axis.
This is good, really good, communication with the devs is a very good thing to the community, this will make people stop guessing things that they dont known, this will make us know what are the devs thinking of the game or the things that are happening, another good thing is that now we know that they are reading suggestions or the things that we post in the forums, i really hope this dont end and all of a sudden the forums go dead with no devs posting anything.
Also is good that they participate in things like the SOTG show, but i think the forum communication is more global, so not only a few players are listened and make changes based only on a few players.
And for the community, i hope you remain respectfull in the conversation with the devs, im not a fanboy and im pretty sure they can make mistakes, and they did, but if we want this communication to continue then we need to behave, seriously i have seen some teasing post to the devs when they are talking to them that i can see why they are not always posting in the forums.
If possible, change the cursor to a more visible one, many times I lose in the fight chaos.
Also an issue on our list along with finding your selected target.
