“Globs of Ectoplasm can now be salvaged into Piles of Crystalline Dust. This change should help Globs of Ectoplasm maintain a strong value in the economy and lower the cost of Crystalline Dust.”
Thank you. Now if we could have a solution for lodestones that would be awesome!
The dust solution was a quicker low hanging fruit change outside of the larger reward system overhauls, so we figured we’d get it out quickly based on all of your feedback.
I think Divinity Reach defenses got a little problem: Do you remember the vista at the giant hole in one of the districts? At this part the wall got a huge gap there.
… there’s no reason to be re-exploring the open world on an alt since it’s no fun and zones are all dead.
This is where your entire post breaks down. The assumptions that every zone is dead and that no one could conceivably enjoy single player / small-scale multi player are wrong.

Are you like, obssesed with Lemmongrass. This is at least the third thread you have made on the subject. Give it a rest already. It’s been discussed to death. Making multiple threads on the same subject is against forum rules.
You already have:
Lemongrass food nerf and I think lemongrass is too potent
Enough already. We get it. You think Lemmongrass is too strong.
Not until you make an official statement that you have plans to never sell RNG items in the cash shop again or to make the ridiculous 1% go up by quite a lot. I have been an avid supporter of yours since GW1 and love GW2. I remember all the promises to keep the cash shop reasonable. You lied. RNG items in a cash shop is no way “reasonable.” I am boycotting your cash shop as of now. Congrats for one more kitten ed off and betrayed feeling player, and all because you decided to get greedy.
I don’t understand why it needs to be “special” or rare. If everyone wants to have one, then let them, it just a skin and doesn’t effect the game in anyway. They should just sell them for $5 and call it good.
How can it be fair to ANY game developer to accuse them of not letting them “play the way they want”, even if they promised it, because they want the game to be something else it wasn’t designed to be?
If they didn’t mean it (and it is obvious they didn’t), perhaps they shouldn’t have used that phrase in advertising.
It’s not “play the way you want, within the constraints of the game”. It’s “any color you like… as long as it’s black”.
Actions, not words.
Remember, remember, 15th of November
The game is, with rare exception, about absolute reward for time and effort invested. Dungeons are a prime example of this. Want a pretty TA armor skin? Invest enough time in the dungeon to acquire the tokens, and you get it. Want a Fractal Capacitor? Invest time in fractals, accumulate a fixed number of materials, buy/upgrade it. End of story.
With things like Precursors and the RNG chest skins (Fused, Sclerite, Halloween), instead what happens is you invest time, effort, and money ad nauseam for a chance at maybe getting one. It’s a moving target. There is never any guarantee that no matter how much time, effort, and money you invest, that you will get one. And that is kittening stupid. It’s not fun, and it’s not compelling gameplay. And “just not doing it” isn’t a good reason to absolve Anet of making unfun, uncompelling choices.

Painbow.6059: Ignore what anyone else who doesn’t agree with me has said because its wrong.
Haha, this is hilarious. The only motivation strong enough to waste time on a thread like this is to pump out your chest and say “i’m awesome!!!”
“I do actively run a Ranger with 8k+ WvW kills and another 10k plus on other classes most of which has come from skirmishing in the lower tiers.” Check

Because my gear is none of your frigging business.
So much this. I play my way, how you think I should is completely irrelevant. You didn’t pay for my copy of the game or my connection.
The difference between you folks in the Against /Inspect crowd and those of us in the For crowd: I want you to be able to play your way! In your own groups! It’s unfortunate that you don’t extend the same courtesy to us.
What’s the approximate drop rate for the southsun crates? and then what’s the RNG rate to get a ticket from the crates?
It seems like ArenNet has made it next to impossible for casual and even most hardcore gamers to get a ticket without purchasing a ton of tickets.
I think it’s ridiculous that the drop rates are so low that a casual gamer who really wants the weapon skins, are screwed.
I’ve spent probably 10+ hours farming the crates, and have gotten maybe 10-12 crates, with no ticket drop. I’ve also been frustrated and purchased 20 crates with no tickets.
This doesn’t seem to be achieving the goal of (I’m assuming) giving your players new content.
The same was with the molten weapons. I understand wanting them to be rare, but leaving it up to RNG and really low drop rates is punishing players.
So after watching some of the pvp spectating it seems they added a viable inspect window. Why dont we have this in PvE? Seems all the complaints of MF in dungeons, Multiple Condition people, and players not carrying their weight could be helped by this. You could make it group only or add an option to make it public or not. Perhaps even make it a link from the player like a /Show build command instead.
Activating a signet grants 1 stack of might for 5 seconds.
This is one of the most useless underpowered traits in the game. To compare it with another trait, thieves get almost the exact same trait but it instead gives 5 stacks of might not 1.
Yeah thats only 5 times better, but wait it gets worse! Thief signets are on 30-30-30-45 second cooldowns, while ranger signets are on 30-60-60-80 second cooldowns.
How is stuff like this still in the game almost a year after release? Class traits are so unpolished, it seems like someone made them all in one day and they haven’t been changed/balanced since.
I’m trying to compose my own “State of the Game” post about Necromancers, and I’d like to talk to some other people who have played and enjoyed this class as much as I have. I’ve played Necromancer for 1625 hours, and I cannot say I don’t have complaints. I’d like to consolidate with other Necromancers and discuss some of the things we all can agree need to be improved for this class, reworked, replaced, removed, etc.
My in-game name is Lugus Equinox. Please send me a mail or respond to this post if you have or someone you know has played this class for over 1000 hours. I need people who can confidently say that they’re in an good position to assess this class for everything its worth; people who have experimented, played with, and even pioneered this profession. I’m looking forward to responses from the community.
Uh…they grow in a land ruled over and controlled by a megalomaniac undead dragon, who wants to suck all the life from the world, cared for by undead farmers who desire nothing better than to tear your face off and use it for a handkerchief, fertilized by 300 year old cattle and the blood of victims too foolish to leave the place alone.
I’d say they taste like rainbows…yep definitely rainbows.
Pretty much every weapon set a warrior can take is viable in pve. Most are still viable in pvp, it just takes an appropriate approach to using the weapon and adjusting play style/ team comp to take advantage of your build.
