I once had someone ask me for 3 gold so he could buy a certain Superior signet. I said yes, if he could give me 5 gold so I could get a Superior signet of Battle. He said OK. I did not send him money.
When I mentioned him on mapchat though, people groaned, and one person sent me a joke e-mail that I still keep to this day for a chuckle now and then.
Hello friend, my name is [name removed], princess of queensdale. As im sure you have heard my father the king has recently died and left me a great fortune. I wish to share with you his fortune but I need your help in order to access his account at the queensdale bank of queens dale. Please send the amount of 1 gold to me so I know I can trust you with my fathers fortune.
Random, silly, yet amusing.
>implying you all wouldn’t take 200+ gold from the guild you barely know
It wouldn’t even cross my mind.
I don’t think anyone with any life experience will actually contemplate such a thing: to steal from people whom you barely know and think it’s OK…
Part 1/2 of a dynamic duo
I’m kinda surprised this was even asked outright…
Edit: Repsonse deleted.
Pretty much have come to accept that based upon the frequency and intensity of the commentary lately, it’s the rare minority of players that would rather spend the time to raise their play to meet the content rather then have the content lowered to their comfort level. No level of arguement on my part is gonna change this.
Kudos to those silent, and minority of vocal players, that do the opposite and take some pride and enjoyment from attempting the challeges offered (even if they fail) – best of luck to them.

I actually liked Claw Island because there was so many enemies. :/ (like use stun-breaker?)
Any chance getting hardmode-version for story?
If you are dying in your storyline, its time to put it away for awhile and go catch a few levels before trying again. That or get some help from freinds or guildies.
Agreed. I haven’t had any problems dying during my personal story. I actually think the difficulty is well balanced. I usually complete the missions by the skin of my teeth. It all feels very epic each time.
I thought that was what the developers were going for. If it was, they nailed it for me.
Experimental Record: “Invulnerable mobs”
Parameters: I used a ranger with a Longbow/Speargun traited for extra distance. This meant I got an effective 1500 range on Longbows and 750 on Spearguns. I used solely melee pets, which would “tie down” the mob if you could path to it.
— Experimental Situation #1 —
Alleged Trigger: Immense vertical distance outside of 600 range.
Setup: World vs World, using perches on cliffsides to attack targets.
Result: If a target did not have a ranged attack which could hit me, it would regenerate health almost as fast as I was dealing it. It was possible to kill them, however it was significantly harder due to the regeneration. Melee pets and summoned “Hounds of Balthazar” would not trigger to fall down and attack, so these efforts were ranged only.
Conclusion: Given this is a known anti-exploitative measure, I do not think this is a bug and is intended to prevent players from farming PvE mobs without risk of harm.
— Experimental Situation #2 —
Alleged Trigger: Uneven ground causing “invulnerable” to pop up.
Setup: World vs World borderlands; specifically I would attack the fishing camps from a higher elevation where the guards could still path to me.
Result: If the guards could not path to me (i.e. somehow getting on top of a hut or having someone pull them close to the “safe ledge” near the Legendary Defenders) they would path back to their home and regenerate health at an increased rate. If they could path to me, they would immediately take even a roundabout route to come bash my face in. On foot near a few uneven patches I would sometimes see “Obstructed” if the target was low enough to the ground.
Extra Note: One Veteran Guard is enough to drop a ranger if they’re too busy testing this matter, should they be able to get up close.
Conclusion: This is working as intended to prevent people from seizing camps or otherwise messing with NPCs with no risk of being harmed.
— Experimental Situation #3 —
Alleged Trigger: Harpies in Uncategorized Fractal
Note: Experiment Pending a Fractals trip where it turns up.
— Experimental Situation #4 —
Alleged Trigger: Veteran Giant Arctic Jellyfish in Frostgorge sound
Setup: Swept the waters around Honor of the Waves between Icebrood Fish schools causing . . . issues. And one death.
Result: Giant Jellyfish would leash back to their home location on reaching me unless the pet was holding agro, and regenerate health at a vastly increased rate. They would still take hits but would regenerate health faster than a speargun could damage them. If engaged within “normal” speargun range, this happened only at the most extreme ranges. At no time did it go “Invulnerable”
Conclusion: Giant Jellyfish have a considerably shorter leash than many creatures around Frostgorge Sound for some reason, but it appears universal. It can only be an intended design to prevent them from being pulled far away from their spawn location.
I’ve never played GW1 and I think the skins are awesome too, but I really hope they don’t allow anybody else to get these. It was a wonderful gesture to GW1 players and it would be ruined if they opened the door for just anybody to get them.
OP has no idea what he’s talking about. Facts:
1/ GW1 didn’t get a grouping tool until almost two year into the game.
2/ The GW1 grouping tool didn’t even function well for grouping … it was mostly a trading tool or for specific farms
3/ A.net wants to do this right, so either a good tool or none
4/ GW2lfg.com does the job just fine. Are you asking for an in-game spidy, dragon timer, gold farm maps, youtube … too?
The fact is, a game this big will be supported by the community, and that means a.net can
- focus on more important things, since for all intents and purposes the lfg problem is fixed
- work on making a really, really good lfg tool instead of a half baked one like in gw1
I see that as positive things. And while you can rage all you want about the lack of a grouping tool … the simple fact is that this grouping tool exists, it works and there’s no need for you to rage. Without mods, WoW is a broken game, yet I never saw anyone rage about the perceived need to use add-ons…

id like to see…
1 – spell effects filters example – show mine only/show group only/show all
if not filters then a way to adjust the spell effect separately
2- make story rewards scale to you actual level not your adjusted level.
3- the ability to reposition all skills on the hotbar to my liking.
4- allow us to set status to invisible by default.. or invisible to all not onf riedns list or in guild.
thanks

Hello!
Recenlty I had an idea for the Trading Post, for example the possibility to place a “star” in any item and add it to your personal wishlist! So you’ll keep track of the items of your dreams, this will lead to more activity in the trading post, I can hardly remember all the stuff I need!
The Guild system in guild wars 2 seems very thrown together to me and is lacking some MAJOR features even from the first gw that didn’t make it into the second.
-Mutli-Guild Problems- Possible Multi-Guild Fix 2 : Allow Mutli-Guilds. Limt the amount of guilds a character can be involved in. Do not limit chat involvement to only one guild, Create multiple channels for each guild, with same options as the normal chat system. Each Guild having an assigned and Customizable Color. When a character completes a task pvp/event/ect. which provides IP. IP is generated for all guilds the player belongs too. (Possibly with the option of splitting currency 1 guild membership = 100% to the guild, 2 guild membership 50%-50% and so on. “Representing” For a guild is purely cosmetic, Showing that guilds logo/Tag. Keeps Guild mates from other guilds Nameplates Orange, Even if not representing.
-Ranking System needs tweaking- In the current state the ranking system is very restricted. You cannot allow members to invite players without kicking them also. FIX: Split “Admin Lower Ranks” Into “Promote/Demote” and “Invite Members”.
-Organization within Roster I would like to see an organization option to have Ranks of ONLINE players be an option. If I sort the guild by Rank in the current set up it shows offline members. I would also like to see a break between the Ranks, A small line would even due just some organization.
-Officer Chat- Communication between officers/leader without having to make a ton of whispers or a party to talk
-MotD- “Edit” erases everything, it needs to do exactly what it says, Edit the message. Also Guild setting turning on/off if the message displays when a Character logs on/off
-Guild Description Currently the only place to put Guild Rules/Vent info in guild is in the MotD. Guilds need an area to put a description of what there about, and also include vent info, rules, other info that doesn’t take up a spot where guild events / achievements should be being announced.
-Notes- Both Officer and Public, Because Guilds are account based it is easy to lose characters in their alts. This would help Guild Leaders identify “Mains” for PvP teams, and PvE teams. Also this needs to be done to form a communication between officers if a member is being rude while one Officer is on they can leave a note so if it comes up again another officer can follow through. Also with positive influence, if an officer sees some leadership qualities they can write that in so the Guild Leader can keep an eye on them.
-(Name) Logged On/Off - Name says it all. Have a Guild setting to post when a Player has logged on or off of Guild wars.
-Last seen on- I have members in my Guild that I have no idea if they have even logged on since the launch of the game.
-Influence Tracker- I would like to see some sort of Account based influence tracking, While I can see this causing problems because Guilds could create Influence Quotas. I would like to see that so I can identify members who are pumping out influence and reward them.
-Emblem- I would like to see more “Showing Off” of emblems, Time being they are very small icons here and there. A couple options are Icons by names, Banners on weapons and armor ( not capes ) but literally a banner you wear on your back(much like the blade master in warcraft3).
-sPvP Bonuses- No I do not want to have a + 40Vitality (ect) buff for sPvP and tPvP. I would like to see more options to support Guilds within tPvP tho. “+ X% sPvP influence increase”, “sPvP Guild Finishing Move”, “sPvP armor banner”, “+Magic Find sPvP” (for chest rewards).
-Guild Halls- This was in the first Guild Wars and I would like to see it again. “Guild Hall” – Requires Max level in at least 1 Rewards Tree (Politics,AoW,Economy,Arch.) You also need to use influence to Purchase upgrades for your hall, Thus if a Guild has a hall using the Art of War tree they cannot get the same upgrades a guild using the Economy Tree has. Each tree will have its own unlocks for the Guild. Also a place to run PvP Skirmishes/Tournaments.
-Mailing Feature- Mailing Feature which would allow you to compose a message to either the entire Guild or Officers. This could be used to expand communication within the Guild as not all members are online at the exact same time. Could be used to Set times for Guild Events, Meetings, On what days Guild bonuses will be activated. Also adding a “Guild” tab to the mail screen. (And while we are at it a BLTC Tab)
-Guild Calender- Allows for organization of events / buffs for guild. Exactly what normal calendars do :P
Please provide Feedback.

Why so mean with Logan?
If he hadn’t been away, Kralkatorrik would be dead and they would have then killed Zhaitan and no GW2 and no Trahear… oh wait, I hate you, Logan!
“Ugh we’re dying, Logan do somet-”
