No, it’s not.

They delayed this update a week and still pushed it out wayyyyyyy too early. Rushing updates is just dumb.

If it wasn’t enough time to at least test to make sure something as basic as chat bubbles/down state not being green, random male charr noises coming from my human female character, and the plethora of other problems released this patch then it’s pretty obvious they’re understaffed. Tequatl is no exception to this and OP has every reason to be uptight about it.

Just about every patch I can remember downloading has resulted in bugs. It is not surprising that a large patch would have more than average. Am I thrilled that it took me a long time to finish loading my game client the second time? No. Do I enjoy having to go invisible and back again just to gain access to my guild chat? No. Do I like the green text and green downed meter? No. (Though I think that is a stab at St. Patrick’s day.) Was it nice that even my bug report window was bugged? No. Was I having a good time experiencing many other bugs through the night and/or hearing about them? No.

But I accept it because they’re bugs. They happen. They’re not the end of the world, or the game.

So yes, it is acceptable.
Throwing a hissy fit and saying it isn’t? You all can do better. This will pass.

They really just need to rollback this patch. There are way too many bugs. They’ll never be able to keep track of them all or fix them all (and I wouldn’t expect them too — there are way too many bugs).

No word from ArenaNet about any of the Bugs! Hopefully someone replies here on the forums. as we have only had one minor fix so far

They’re very much aware of this thread and have directed people here to report bugs (See https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/3-16-15-patch-bugs/4885176)

And they’ve already fixed a few. Give them time. It’s still early in the day at ArenaNet and we don’t want them accidentally pushing out more bugs in a rush to fix these. I don’t think there’s really any reason for them to reply when they’ve already acknowledged the thread and directed people here.

I am usually very forgiving when it comes to bugs but this thing kittens me off. I have played GW1 for a long time and i know, i did not play it to have something to show off in GW2, but still… i have actually earned those titles (as have many other GW1 players) and now people who did not even see GW1 can have the same?

I don’t care what others have – as long as they have earned it, i’m happy for them – but giving these GW1-related things for free due to a bug? Anet has to remove those titles that were given. Period.

Well, when it comes to NPE it is subjective matter because we are talking about intentional changes (although 1 spamming through tutorial is boring as ever), but I completely agree that the most recent patch as it is now should not have gone live.

Right now this is probably the first time I would say do a rollback.

Emergency maintain mode – there should be no indivudals getting HoM achievements without trying.
The numerous bugs that have gone out shows we need to put this patch back on the table and operate on it until it’s finished (It will be ready when it’s good and ready).

Never again will the community ask when is the patch coming out – they might just be a little happier to wait a little bit to get something that is working a bit better.

It’s fine to have a few bugs – but this patch has probably broken more things than it has fixed.

Crafting – for example food – no description.

I’ve met almost all bugs here also, got 3 client crashes during Tequatl…
It really seems like build tag “lets-test-it-on-stupid-users”.
It’s shame that some techniques has been crippled to work “properly” but… these made the game more funny on the other hand serious bugs still remains like “cannot pick up the crystal (Fractals – end boss) because my character is shooting and I can’t stop it” or “not able to revive” issue.
1 more note to release notes – “bug fixes” – 2 bugs fixed – 1 is server side that users may believe, the second has easy workaround and the bug probably happens rarely…
So are you serious with this marvelous build?

Fixing stuff takes time. It’s good enough that Anet is working on them. For the meantime, while they fix the others, we don’t have to deal with the vendor’s bug. Isn’t that better than waiting until they finally fix all of them?

They should just rollback the whole patch since it seems it broke a LOT of stuff, it’s easier for them to roll back and re-implement the whole thing (THIS TIME STRAIGHT) rather than trying to fix stuff. It’s not like it was a BIG patch anyways, the most intensive thing was the stability stack changes.

Whilst this may be intended, it seems absolutely absurd. Running a dungeon tour this afternoon made it clear that it took everyone a long time to realise that someone was actually downed. Rather than having it darker green, can we just have it go back to red??

I mean, I really like GW2 and Anets work on it and all that stuff. And well… sh.. happens I guess. You mess up half of the game with one patch. Okay. But I really wonder… HOW did nobody notice this during SIX DAYS of ADDITIONAL testing? o_O

I mean; even just after logging in… the loading screen is different. Second thing you see, are the differences in the UI. How could a bunch of QA-testers possibly not notice this in 6 days? Did they test another version of the patch? Did we get an alpha-version by mistake, while QA got the release-version? o.o

An extra week of QA and this comes out of it? Seriously, why did anet just not wait with the major changes and release some nice skins in the meantime. This is probably the most broken patch ever.

My experiences are similar to many others:

Texture loss on TT wurm
Hearing other players shouts/sounds across the map (mostly wvw)
drop in framerate
skill lag
disabled guild chat (sorted by quick fix)
guild chat reset on switching tabs, maps or waypoint
game crash on leaving party
shrinked loading map
bug report bugged
slow camera

overall, a poor game experience tonight and unless i feel like being stationary, i cant even enjoy the guild chat. That week of extra qa really paid off.

Hahaha ya that is hilarious xD Especially all that “Help me!” or “Retreat!!” and suddenly there is an invisible asura engi that places invisible turrets around you and your norn warrior says “CHARR DON’T NEED GODS” TuT

Switching between chat tabs deletes guild chat from some. Chat tabs blink in red indicating new messages when the tab you’re in is displaying the same text (as in, you already saw it, it should’t tell you).

This is most bothersome. What an awful patch altogether.

“Camera Shake” option is enabled by default.

(I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt and saying that the unlisted feature that has a nausea warning on the checkbox isn’t SUPPOSED to be enabled off the bat)

Before you do fix it make a button to “only show stuff usable by your profession” like in the trading post. So it reduces clutter.

Now the vendors only sell the limited equipments that only the said class can use. I only have one mesmer character that’s in Vigil and now I can’t buy the Vigil Rifle skin anymore because of this change.

Kindly please switch it back, it does more damage than it fix.

This is not intended. This is a bug, and we apologize for the confusion. The team is aware of this issue and will be correcting it as soon as possible.

You truly are not (supposed to be) required to use a specific profession to purchase items for that profession. Even if an item is not intended for use by a particular profession, you still can (or will be able to, once the fix goes through) purchase the item for use by another character/profession. For example, your Elementalist is welcome to purchase Engineer gear, although obviously the Ele cannot equip it.

Hello,

Some of ppl can;t type at guild chat after new patch so ehre is easy fix:
- use Y or open social panel
- click on green icon next to ur account nick and set invisible
- exit panel
- get back to it
- and turn invi into online.

That is what helped me and my guildmate so might work for u too till devs fix it.

Just block and report the people who abuse you. There is nothing wrong about the UA guild tag.

Apparently there is. In fact, its becoming traumatic. I can’t block whole playerbase man….

The thing is almost any tag could mean something offensive to a narrow minded person.

UA is simply the country code for ukraine (ISO 3166-2:UA: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-2:UA). Nothing inappropriate about it at all.

Just fill out the support ticket. The thing is more than likely, after there’s enough reports filed against you, they would change the name anyway. This way you get to pick your name.
