its a game the only thing that matters is enjoying the content at hand, from moment to moment. I didn’t play all my old Nintendo game’s over and over again for the epic lootzzzz because in the end all that junk is worthless.

Guild Wars 2 has a better and nicer community and is like a living painting.
Wow has:
1. Better combat system and classes that can be something besides dps.
2. Doesn’t have patches that continue to buff the strongest classes while nerfing the weakest so the devs can think they have pvp balanced.
3. Better loot and I’ve never killed 6 things in a row in Wow with no drop like has happened to me playing GW2.
4. The game is focused on being fun and not focused on the economy and gem store.
5. Blizzard actually tests things yes it’s shocking.
6. Dungeons are a lot more fun in wow and you actually get decent rewards for doing them.
7. Wow can be played the way you want and you don’t have to feel paranoid about hitting DR when you farm mats to craft.
8. Small and large guilds are both able to do ALL of the game content and small guilds aren’t punished for being small.
9. Mounts.
10. All my friends quit playing GW2 but my friends that played WOW are still playing it.

I dont know if anyone else cares about this but a big relief i had was being able to use the weapon i wanted and not getting forced into a role like in wow. Love dps with sword and shield
In regards to twilight tree. Sure theres the easy version. Then you fight the hard version that shoots bombs at you and if you dont watch motioned queues you get downed.
One big thing that sparked me to start this post other than my friend was a post on wow forums where someone was talking about how fun sab was and a wow fanboy came in and said something derogatory and that happens every single time a post comes forward regarding other games
Im not blind and dont think gw is the god of all games. But i deff think its a step up the food chain. Not all bosses are perfect in any game. I think generally beyond anyones opinion gw is deff proving itself a more creative involved game so far. We got alot of content ahead of us after year one
The animosity comes more strongly from the wow community saying they play the best game of all time and it will always be gold. I just wanted some clear heads on the subject. My friend not being one of them lol. Wows dungeons are more boring and afk in my opinion. They didnt create paths and each dungeon got boring after 3 runs. Gw offers alot more replayability. And they hold difficulty. I tanked all wow dungeons half asleep.
I just thought of that yesterday. I fought 2 dragons yesterday and both times i found myself afking to its right arm lol. They need a swipe to make it more intuitive.
As someone who has played both games in depth i can say the only thing that would make someone say they enjoy wow more is them staying in their comfort zone. Or someone who enjoys the more stat based system of wow for healing and tanking and dps calculating.
Im bored at work and its been awhile since i have seen this topic discussed, figured some people could give their 2 cents. I have a friend who hates gw2 so much and thinks wow is infinitely better. It would appear gw is still growing past 3 mil and wow is starting the drop under 10 mil and was just wondering what people thought regarding april fools. I think gw owned every mmo out there and wow took a big hit this year for april fools. Sab has got to be the most creative thing ive seen introduced into an mmo and i finally respect a dev of an mmo.
I agree in the petition to make this permanent and build upon it. Best addition ive ever seen in an mmo for fun.
Its funny so ive removed frenzy from my skills never to resurface until the change is tweaked… another useless ability in the warrior pool
im all for longer duration lower potency but the debuff isnt worth the tradeoff for this build they are releasing. It would be fine if it was 10 seconds 20% increase in atk speed if the increased dmg was lowered to like 10%. Makes sense
Im hoping you guys have enough motivation to make this post popular if you care about frenzy because all they are doing is taking the worst quickness ability in the game and crapping on it. We take 50% more damage which noone else comes close to suffering. In reality untraited the ability lasts 5 seconds as of now ingame ive timed it several times so the “time increase” they are doing is not actually happening. And the power of it is being halfed where as he debuff is staying happily to kill us… so uhh… lets point it out to the devs that weakening or reworking the debuff is pretty important or the ability itself will lose most of its usefulness in real combat situations.
The problem is with people speccing into damage stats as well… the abilities in the spec allow for a ton of dodge and evasion and easy ways out of damage. Ive fought this build which charges and hits me for a 5th my health as a warrior. And the people killing 2v1. Sure any noob can spec def stats and live and run around but the players like me that have a brain can use this with maxed offensive stats and crush other classes
I wanted to have a post on its own so that it has a little more attention adding to what evil said in his post a second ago… this sort of thing would happen in wow which has been a balancing nightmare forever. This game has pretty good balance but the spec with ele that evil was showing is infact easy to shine over other specs as people are now at the phase of showing off 2v1s and i see it ran over any other spec in eles. It shuts out the viability of other specs in pvp tbh and is going to be flaunted until its tweaked to take away some of its damage or some of its easymode escape methods. My spec is very solid and i play it very well but the way the game was made and the fact that mine isnt op means i cant run around with an easier game experience all around because of my class choice
Looked more to me this post was informative/rooting for hods allies but my point still stands sbi needs to be kept on a leash for their attitude. TA seems like the best suited grp to be on top :P
Has anyone told these sbi lame-os to just keep their sad conceited attitude off the forums lol. Especially when they have lost so soundly enough times. One win and they will think they are the best. Et needs to side with hod on this one. I dont see much “HoD is better then every server in every way.” Its a very humble server that keeps a strong fight attitude. Sbi sound like losers. so those banners at char select mean nothing.. i was hoping unlocking the banner meant all your chars can use that orders armor
Could’nt find a simple certain yes or no…. IS unlocking the use of order armor sets account or character unlocked.. cause i want vigil armor for my alt.
