I haven’t seen any warriors get this yet.. im planning to I just wanted to know for sure before spending gold… does the runes of melandru combo -98% cond duration work against her cripple? Because I use the food and trait for -73% cripple and she still stacks up 10+ secs of cripple on me amongst all the rapid attacks she gets off that a warrior has no way of escaping… this is all during phase 2 of course.. phase 1 is super cake.

The NS guy should have never came in here and said what he did. It’s just bad form. If you or your guild get approached to transfer and you don’t want to, then just tell them no and move on with your life. You don’t have to call out an individual or even a server like that.

Nothings black and white though. I would understand if ns took verbal shots but he was polite and the bg guy actually took a shot over it. Ns felt like making it known in tier 1 that they wont be going to bg. No other bg recruiters will approach him. Now my opinion of bg is lowered abit by what darkjoy said. And im a neutral party too.

Im an achieve hunter like many others on this forum and on the 16th ill have all current bazaar achieves done. Im leaving on vacation without internet until the 29th and was wondering when should we expect new content and new temporary achieves. Perhaps around the 26-28th new content coming?

I have no screencap but i can say its largely rng based. I got lucky and beat it in 2 mins 30 seconds

Jemmi. The poster made this to get awareness of a lack of information. It also causes stress for many people whom enjoy getting achieves like myself. But in my case and many others they have things come up in their lives and arnt sure when the even closes. This causes stress which anet could easily avoid. And that comment was towards people posting on this subject with absolutely no positive value to the original posters comment. This addition doesnt cause any adverse effects to anyone and to challenge it is just nonsense. If you dont like the suggestion just walk away..

I have 2800 toughness. Pretty decent. I do the eating in these parts lol. With longbow the pressure is up constatly so no. Havent had any problems. Rifle is different. You cant keep up with rifle because its easy to predict and cant even use kill shot solo.

My build goes off a mix of rampager and berserk gear. 30 into arms 30 into defense and 10 for discipline because i love the 25% run speed. Longbow is very useful for cleansing ire. Sword and shield with longbow works way better than rifle with s/sh. I love the rifle but using the longbow now with the new default 1k range is too good to keep pvping with the bland utility-weak rifle

Why is the top achieve score on the leaderboards 10k going to meme and not you?

Gw2 facebook page has 920k likes though. Hmmm. Cant be long if thats accurate. 600k will take a few weeks though.

And the point of this post. Which you validate. Is its all up to our assumptions. Nothing is clear which would be positively received if ANET would explain clearly. Thats all im saying.

Nice assumption. Ill revisit if your wrong. You just validated the fact that they leave us to predict what they are going to do next and its quite tiring with people that want to keep up but have jobs and busy lives.

You missed the point of the post. If it hits 1mil on july 20th i wont be around. So anyone who doesnt log in on july 20th misses it? Vague explainations of things are something businesses typically avoid but anets pretty good at it

Im not stamping all people with my statement and i agree. The pinnacle of items should be account bound because of the volume of work to get them. But the perma gathering tools is just a smart move to maximize profits. Im refering to achievements and special currencies remaining account capped. Like this quartz node. One per day per account. So someone cant exploit it.

If your into pvp and want a good ranged option i recommend longbow all the way.

I use rifle in pve mostly because conditions in groups are just awful because fire can only tick for one person. Bleeds are a little better but not by much.

Stating players will get the achievement is yet again vague. Could they elaborate more. Its so annoying. So im going on a cruise for half this month. Will i have to log on the day they hit 1 mil or i just have to log in once in july. kitten they beat around the bush way too often and obviously didnt learn with personal space. Im an achievement hunter hence this post.

Just throwing this out there because questions have popped up in the past. Using rifle for the longest time and switching to longbow from time to time. I can safely say longbow is far superior for anyone except strictly berserk. The damage is more reliable if you know what your doing with the aoes.

In pvp: The fire damage longbow brings is quite powerful if you have a decent amount of condition damage. Melee enemies have a harder time avoiding it if your dropping fields consistently. And you can pin enemies in it. The skills have more loaded into them. The rifle just doesnt have it. The blind has alot of use and its a quick hard to dodge shot along with a quick immobilize. Swapping to a longbow has alot more use for the 10 seconds your stuck in it than the volley you have with rifle.

Since switching longbow i crush people in pvp. Thieves cant handle the fire field i drop then swap to sword and hold them in it. Longbow allows you to control the fight better than the rifle by bounds. So try it out. Fighting in your own fire field in melee is very powerful.

This isnt flame just stop feeling punished because something is limited to one per account. You like to play multiple characters. Great. But dont expect a leg up over people who like to personify themselves into one char. If they were alt friendly with laurels the currency would be meaningless and i wouldnt care to do dailies anymore. Account limited content is there to prolong its interest in players.

Your lucky you got a response. I put a detailed ticket and got completely ignored.

Knowledge of this has been out for closing to a week. They may fix it by not allowing relogged chars the option to enter the boss fight. Or they may leave it because of all the distress they caused the first few days of this even due to poor dissemination of information on how the achievement actually works. We shall see. Event will be coming to an end soon enough.

Its so funny seeing posts like this. I have the same thing and i worked my butt off for my 2 off days constatly worrying and trying over and over. I finally got them. Arena net sucks for putting this kinda rush into a game. You will thank the heavens when you finally get them. Sacrifice a few days to it and focus.

I agree with you cloud. They missed a perfect opportunity to add a casino in southsun on the resort. Very obvious loss there considering southsun would have stayed steadily popular. Minigames of the gambling nature always attract players if done right with a good polish and ui.

Dont forget you got your dense forest theme in SAB world 1 zone 2!

Its too late now but the devs need to take the lesson. Dont make a temporary dungeon with tricky achievements or people will be stressed and rushed to do them quick IN A LEISURE GAME. The opposite of what this game was meant for.

Asking for clarification on a highly vague and inconsistent achieve is in no way complaining. Theres only so much players can do. And you have to factor in here-say. I can say for my runs i went an entire run without being hit by any of his attacks and not getting it. Where as others state they got it following same pattern. Theres a hidden variable that the devs have to address and clarify.

Yes i believe they will change it up within a few days. They dont hear anyone complaining with how you get faster than light. Its hard, but not just plain stupid and completely based on if the game server feels like slipping you the achieve. Just wait a few days.

Keep the posts rolling. They cant ignore this forever hahaha. Too many inconsistencies with how people got the achievement. I propose they change the achievement to track damage taken from only one of his special attacks. Much higher probability of the achievement working as intended. Right now its just a lame duck.

I see a lot of discussions on the dungeon.. a lot being its difficulty and achievements. The problem isn’t the difficulty of the dungeon, it was needed for people who want a challenge.
The problem lies with the fact that they made the achievements difficult in their own right.. in a difficult dungeon, with a very large reliance on having a full group of pretty good players. I like pugging and a lot of people do, I haven’t gotten personal space but that one is absurd at the moment.
I think they should keep temporary achievements away from difficult group-oriented feats.

As of right now for this achievement you have to go the entire fight without touching the red ring of his aoes that he casts.. not including the mortars. Dodging out of the circle doesn’t matter because you were in the red circle.. Very stupid setup for a achieve and im going to keep playing at it until I completely luck out and he doesn’t target me once or they change it to rightfully be getting through the fight without taking damage from a specific attack he casts.

Hot competition of jq vs sor and iron made a mistake going to sor and just killing the chances of balance considering its been fairly stable sor being ahead by far for weeks now. Sor will stay ahead till some guilds get bored or others move to jq. All coverage aside the score is perfect proof of the current imbalance in the grand scheme

Rewriting history a bit. SoR had the weakest coverage of all 3 t1 servers. No one could foresee that JQ would start bleeding guilds. At the time Iron made the choice SoR was the best choice as far as balance is concerned.

Yeah no hate on them. They made an unforeseeable mistake and now we can fix it or we can leave sor at top spot for a few months till the guilds get bored and they fall out of t1

Rumor is a few EU guilds are moving to T1 within a couple weeks. I wouldn’t fret too much.

This would be great if they went jq. I didnt even pay attention to wvw till things started getting mixed up a month or 2 ago. Jq had too much power but it had came off a grand fight against other servers that had imploded. Now the competition is back up and lets try to get some balance with as little transfers as possible. And lets be honest. Large scale transferring to bg is not best if jq just needs a few which means less players paying for transfers. And i dont think players from any of the t1 servers atm should switch to other t1 servers lol. Thats just dumb. Trading power with your enemies. Im talking guilds coming in from other tiers/EU.

It would be more interesting to explore south to crystal desert before going to cantha. And a hurdle to get over is that cantha went isolationist so the devs would have to go way out of their way to fit in racial balance considering cantha is all human and they pushed all other races out. Not all players are human anymore. It would end up being introduced slowly if it ever is introduced. Charr wouldnt fit in cantha at all so alot of twisting of the lore would need to be done. Probably another factions type situation or godly threat/new leader. Otherwise it would never make sense for cantha to accept any races that ever stood against humans.

This is funny. Ill miss it when sor takes its inevitable fall off t1 and someone else takes their spot as per usual business. Wonder who it will be though. Blackgate making comeback or TC/DB making a premier

Jq deff sits at number 1 considering it has never tanked and been competing with the most stacked servers in t1 since launch. Every contender in t1 last year is long gone except jq

Most people agree warriors lack sustain and i know this would reinforce all warriors using the same ability but if they lowered the base cd on on signet of stamina maybe to 30 seconds or made using it restore half or all endurance that would be a fairly big step in the right direction to balancing us out. Thoughts?
