hot key: Ok. But more important is a permanent stow for many situations: boss fights ( like the scarlet boss fight with impossible achievements for pet user), jumping puzzles (using the pet stow button as many times as the jumping button), fractals ( for example the stairs of the asura lab in the skies) and many other situations. I was argueing of using the nice trapper runes with invisibility, but everybody can see my pet -.- → fail
pets? yes! But we need a permanent stow for many situations (jumping puzzle, boss fights, my last situation: trapper with the invisible runes -.-)
And we need passive useful pets. Anet said that we can play pets agressive and passiv, but passiv playstyle is useless. We need more pets, which can’t attack hard but use group-buffs. Similiar to the nature spirits
But an interrupt with a reaction time of over 1 second? And only if the pet is near the enemy and alive? The speed buff is much better as activation-skill
back to topic:
1)
Main hand dagger (alternative to the buggy one hand sword)
two handed staff (spirit builds)
2) Bo (melee + beast master support)
crossbow (slow dmg, fast interrupts)
whip (middle range, crowd control)
3)
turtle <3,
little pets like racoon or rabbit
4/5)
Something like the skill from the thief to pull enemies.
More Traps especially a elite trap, underwater trap and a trap to reveal thieves
weapon improvements, like poisons from thieves, but with other effects (burning arrows, explosives or something like that)

And i want to add, that the raven need another f2 skill, than blindness.
Who is interested in krytan politics and have secrets about his/her identy?
1. Livia
2. Anise
And some people think they are the same person.
Logan is not the type of sneaking around. I think from destiny’s edge is eir the only person, who can be Mr. E. She hasn’t the best reputation from her past, but enough brain for tactics, strategy and information gathering. But I don’t think that Mr. E is a destiny’s edge member.
I don’t know, but “autopsy lab” reminds me of the seer lab
Positiv:
detailed world. You can find details everywhere. I was dissapointed by the durmand priory. But now, after i’ve seen the library in the underground, it is my new favourite place.
I like the medieval setting especially in divinity’s reach and the villages beneath.
I hope to see more from Guild wars 2. I liked the guerilla warfare of the shining blade against the white mantle.
Very nice ideas in the world. There are such many thing we know since propecies and now they make sense. Like the blood stones.
Negativ:
I dislike the steam punk setting. I disliked the guns, but now they’re ok for me. The zeppelins are cool, but tanks, submarines and helicopters are hard to accept and really overpowered. Why should we lead our whole army through a deadly land, when we can transport them by hundreds of zeppelins and helicopters?
I dislike the rank of the main character. I’ve helped logan and a little later i was represantive of the queen. Now i’m the commander of the pact and wandering around the world all alone. I want to be a simple adventurer like in gw1 and not the big ‘boss’.
In gw1 you have to group for access a mission. In gw2 you can play in group. But the living story ‘missions’ are too short to play in group. I liked to play in group with random players. The only thing i can do in gw2 to have this feeling, is to play fractals. In the dungeons are too much speedrunner -.- and with them, there are no roleplaying atmosphere. Livin story and personal story missions are too short to build a group. I don’t need a group for teleport to orr, fight three enemies in orr, jump back to trahearne and talk with him for over 5 minutes.

+ (pets are annoying in jumping puzzle, complicate boss fights, roleplay, achievements like in the scarlet endfight, fractal jade quarry boss etc.)
i’m playing minion master currently in orr and my minions also don’t attack. especially the bone minions are too far away for their explosion skill. It is really annoying
Thank you for the fast answer
Anyone knows what to do with the vine seeds in dry top? The centaur Azarr says you need some of them in the right spot. And one right spot is in the south.
If you walk to the south, you can see a vine seed bridge and a dirty place (maybe the spot for the vine seeds). Has anyone tried to place vine seeds there in a group of 5 people?
The best way is to try it in a group. Water fields, finisher and group healing.
I don’t know why. But i must think of the luxons as i saw the charr in his clothes. :P
Ranger:
Strength should be:
movement and dodge, remove stealth, range weapons, support by spirits or pet, crowd control
Weakness should be:
weak damage, low toughness/vitality (more dodge), positioning for effective Attacks
The ranger should be a fast character with many options to trick or to degrade the enemy. Therefor he has weak defence and offense (like right now). His main defence should be dodges and crowd control. It should be possible to support by spirits and his pet (a passive pet-mode), instead of using crowd control.
And the ranger should have a acceptable longbow Especially for WvW sieges.
Thanks for reading.
Currently: The ranger has acceptable dodges and crowd control is ok too. But the AI of the pet and his missing attacks are not acceptable. In many parts of the game a pet is a hindrance. We need a powerful passive pet (buffs perhaps). The spirits are not

I want new weapons
crossbow – ranger, thief, … – slower, more powerful shots
bo – ranger, thief, warrior, ele – fast movement, melee, defending
whip – necro, mesmer, engineer? – crowd control, half distance
halbard – warrior, guardian, mesmer? – slow melee weapon with great range
gauntlet – thief, mesmer, necro, … – very class specified using
We need a perma stow for some situation. Jumping puzzle, some boss achievements (scarlet -.-) and other situations where the pet is a hindrance,
And we need a new playstyle with a passive pet. New pet-skills in passive mode. Pets should use buff-shouts while in passive mode. ANet said, we can play Pet inactive, just use passive mode. But in this mode we lose the half of our power.
With this two options we can play “without” a pet in every situation and the ranger is still a beastmaster.
I hope there will be a big one … and they need time for this balance update.
… instead of wasting skill slots to do.
I dislike that the skills are strictly connected to the pet. I like the raven, but i hate his f2-skill. His battlecry is better as f2-skill.
Vote for more variety per pet instead of new petskins or skills.
I agree with your points.
Why is condition duration attribute in markmansship?
The traits with “… all cats …” “…all birds …” are worthless in my opinion. I want to select my pet in appearance not skills. It should trigger for all pets or “pet in slot 1” or something.
great idea, should be a signet active buff, like an ele’s Glyph of Elemental Power, 45 second cd, buff duration lasts 30 seconds.
One with Nature: gain camouflage (10s) when you stop moving (30 second cooldown)
or something to that effect…
camouflage should trigger after a dosge roll. So you’ve a little control about it.
“Guarding” pets should ignore stealth, and attack players that enter their area.
It would be nice to have longbow range, pierce, and speed traits, instead of just two out of three.
…but mostly it would be nice to stow a pet and get a buff, or give us new pets that don’t attack, but instead give the player a buff.
Like a little forest fairy that cures conditions, or gives you a damage boost to make up for the loss of the pet… or half the damage the pet would do…
…but mostly rangers are just boring.
Every pet should have such passive skills, if you change its status to passive. There are enough situation (especially in the new boss fights) where your pet is a burden for the group/the tactic. Then we need a strong passive pet mechanic without exchanging the pet.
I will prefer more traits like stealth revealing and buff removers.
Then we need more useful traits. No only-for-pigs-traits or only-for-birds-traits. and plz no must-have-traits like penetrating arrows for bows ( it’s really strong, but you must invest in it to use the bow in a proper way) or like the nature spirit-traits. The last one needs some improvements too. For example the spirits die, when you enter/leave water -.-
And i want to select my pet by appearance. In my opinion, there are too many useless pets/petskills.
I think more skills to reveal stealth characters would be very nice. This can be a new role within a group/team.
