Well, that player had the previous work to level 5 characters to the level range that gives lvl 80 rewards from the chest…
I don’t think he needed 5 characters. Seems like he could have just used the same character and exploited the overflow servers.
No, one character could only loot the chest once.
This issue could indeed use some improvements. When you’re browsing for a game, make sure you just refreshed. If you take too long and try to join a game with 1 spot open left, it will often fail.
I am. I usually try 14 player maps, 0.5s after refreshing, still bugs the hell out. Oh, and sometimes, it’ll port you in after 1-2min waiting time on a different map. what the kitten
So you’re often not alarmed of an incoming treb shot because you were out of its range when it was shot (f.e. you were at a different node).
It’s impossibly annoying and feels kitten to walk into treb shots not alrmed, what happens with big mobility classes all the time (f.e. I moved into dozens of treb shots with Ride the Lightning)
That can take you to Capricorn and I never play that map.

Cannot join high pop servers for 5min. Oh and it takes like 2min for this dumb error message to pop up, and until it does you cannot try again. Well designed <_<
So it often happens that I get disabled in the middle of jumping animation and then I CANNOT use Shadowstep because it glitches out.
Engineers can use their kits mid-air why can’t we use an already instant-cast skill then?
With D/D dancing dagger could be used primarily to slow enemies enough to get into melee range and use mainhand dagger’s potent attacks.
Except I rarely ever used it for that. You have Shadowstep, Heartseeker and Steal as better and more reliable gap closers. People tend to just evade dancing dagger when you’re chasing them anyway, while Heartseeker is a 100% 450range closer to the enemy for 1 less initiative.
xChanneled and bouncing abilities still hitting while in stealth.
Stealth isn’t designed to protect from this kind of abilities. It would be absurdly OP.
traps being visible to enemy players
Traps are visible for only a few seconds, after this period of time enemies can’t see them, but many players have an ability to remember where the trap was placed.
stealth with C&D my character remains entirely visible for me,despite that i am in Stealth(i have the icon,my passives in stealth are working)
I can confirm this, very annoying.
Infiltrators strike:
Its shadow return sometimes doesn’t teleport. The player remains in place, what leads to death in many cases. Sadly, I don’t know how to test this bug.
Stealth really should stop people from channeling single target skills on you like Volley or Unload.
- Illogical: how on Earth would they know where to shoot after you stealthed?
- Annoying: they can see where you’re going from the shots’ angle so stealth then is pretty worthless.
Bouncing attacks hitting are okay imo., but they should make them so enemies don’t see when it bounces to you. Atm. they just see their projectile bouncing into nothing (you) which almost completely reveals you in stealth.
About Infiltrator’s Arrow there are many videos, its teleport only works if the place you want to go is reachable by just foot without jumping and if it is within a certain walking range (f.e. it won’t work when the walking distance to the location would be half of the map).

Glory is not the same as rank points. Glory is the PvP currency while Rank Points are what rank you up and those are not affected by boosters.
Personally I always report afkers for leeching….if you have to do something else and can’t play…you MUST leave your team asap so it can be balanced…yes you will get a leaver debuff, but you are afk so where’s the problem? For obvious reasons a debuff like that must be applied to someone who leaves when next match already started, leaving during score tab or during the waiting before match starts (And teams are formed) would not apply the dubuff to you
Seems fair enough to me. If you want to leave you wait for the match to end, then you leave…if you have to go afk you just leave and get a 15mins debuff because you left your mates in trouble (We all know that autobalancing is really far from being effective when you are already -100 or more due to leechers or just bad players) and if you have to go afk waiting 15 mins would not create so many problems right?
And the fact that winning or loosing doesn’t effect much is not the right way to play spvp, i want to win even if it’s not worth the effort…lots, dam lots of people only hot join to score own points fighting in the middle of nowere….and that’s stupid, you have points to capture so do it….as i always repeat in team chat this is not a kitten deathmatch, those nabs then go to tpvp, get owned an cry because they are not able to cap and defend something….you want to just kill things? Immobilized? SB#5 or Shadowstep or Roll for Initiative. You are not using any of those?

4. Poison them and do damage to keep them dead until the field is over. It lasts for 6s.

Stealth and animations:
It seems like character animations – started while stealthed – do not broadcast properly to enemy players.
For example if an enemy starts to Finish me while stealthed and he pops out of stealth in the middle of it, I see him starting the Finish animation as he pops out and I get finished a second later with a glitchy animation.
This makes it impossible to reliably interrupt people after they pop out of stealth with chanelled attacks (pistol whip/Finish/Revive).

No? Stealth is just broken with not top-notch PCs, it takes 1-2s to load back the enemy’s model after they unstealth.
The one with better PC wins.

That sounds completely like your personal preference. I can’t see why you used ‘we’ in the 2nd sentence.
One tip when they stealth:
Move backwards. If they don’t stun/immobilize you, it’s going to be horrificly difficult to hit you in the back while you’re walking backwards. At least it is kitten hard for me
Also you can kinda see the precast of Cloak and Dagger for like 0.5s, if you’re prepared for it and know the animation, popping endure pain/ shield #5 is not that difficult.

Also, people NEED to understand the concept of the conquest (TEAM) pvp mode:
- The only things that are imbalanced are the ones that give an “unfair” advantage your whole team .
- His cheesy glasscannon build is about 1shotting somebody then basically having CD on all his utilities.
- He has won his team 5 points. They won’t win the game because of that so it is not imbalanced.
The end. In the actual tournaments, you see builds like this happen rarely ever because they just aren’t that benefical for the whole team.
Retaliation: how about a special feedback pop-up (like with Confusion)?

So when your Retaliation triggers on somebody (or Retaliation gets triggered on you), how about making its damage popup different from normal damage popups (unique like Confusion’s is)?
TL;DR: Talking about something like this popping up: http://i.imgur.com/3aqxK.jpg instead of the small hard-to notice numbers.
Axe is used to stack vulnerability hence the low AA dmg. 2 is for burst 3 is for fighting melee classes. AXe is only meant to stack Vulnerability. I do aggre that it is weak, But if you know what your doing. get 10 stacks of vuln. switch to other weapons, burst down while using Vulnerability stacks.
The thing is, it’s the only necro weapon which has direct damage instead of condition damage. And it’s still pretty bad. This forces necros to go for condition damage if they want to do something.
Phantasms only give regeneration. That does not count as heal, and it’s not you healing anyway.
Illusionary Leap should leap you forward instead of your clone, mesmers are one of the fewer classes that have no leaps hence less mobility and trickery in jumping puzzles f.e.
Issue:
- conditions and boons removed by you or from you are difficult to track (especially the latter) without watching the UI all the time (especially when they’re random like the sigil procs).
Suggestion:
- make a popup text saying Dispelled/Cleansed/Purified (or anything else, just make them different message for boons and for conditions) when a boon or condition is removed from you (or you remove one from your enemy).
- The underwater illusions with Trident use the old auto-attack which causes confusion on the enemies and heals you
Not sure if intended, but last time I tried:
- If I used Detonate above a combo field instead of letting Cluster Shot land, the blast combo finisher didn’t trigger.
Also, incredibly annoying bug:
- If a thief comes out of stealth while channeling Dagger Storm, the spinning animation of it doesn’t appear on my screen, and they just run around while random daggers spawn out of them. This makes it very difficult to tell what’s going on if you aren’t targeting the thief and creates big confusion in team fights.
So in sPvP Khylo matches, each time a trebutchet projectile lands and explodes in your screen (like the explosion cloud fills most of your screen), you get a massive fps drop to like 1-5fps for a second. It’s also not PC setup dependant, saw the same fps spike on top notch PCs as well (streamers/videos).
It’s really annoying and makes dodging them or seeing what’s going on very difficult. Please fix it somehow.
p.s. it’s probably similar with the siege trebutchet in WvW too.
This isn’t a HUGE issue. You were just uninformed. Many descriptions are vague, but I suppose that’s lower priority right now.
Is it related to getting rubberbanded and stopped while the dodge roll is going on?
