hi guys,

so this has been happening quite frequently lately and it’s been very stressful… everytime i open blacklion tradingpost my game crashes and i get this error:

im surprised they didnt keep the dailys that we had before and allow us to choose 3 from those that we had.. like, puzzle jumper? leveler? skill point accumulator? where are they now?? how about bring those back ! let US CHOOSE 3 that we want to finish and get our dailys that way!

I’m not sure about the whole ‘registering the daily’ and waiting. I’m sure Anet will find a way for you to do the dailies again even if its giving you extra loot/achievement points.

As for Laurels though, they’ll be rewarded via the new Daily-Log-in system. I’m assuming only specific days will award you with laurels (ie Day 4 will give you 4 laurels (don’t quote me there))

And on the last day (Day 28) of the Daily-log-in, you’ll get the option to pick a Chest of Laurels. I’m assuming this is a replacement for the 10 laurels we would normally get via monthlies (they even said there would be more laurels than the monthlies in this chest)

So I don’t think you should worry too much about the laurels.

so i have a question about this, if i do the daily before the update will my daily be reset after the patch and i will be able to do the daily again? or will the patch already recognize that i did the daily? should i just hold off on doing the daily and do it after the patch? also does the new daily system give out 1 laurel or not? how should i feel about risking of losing 1 laurel if new daily system doesnt give it?

ok this is about the “advent calandar” type reward system where you get something by logging in daily. It says if i miss a day my progress is still there..

so what does it mean? if i have for example got to the 3rd reward in the first line but missed a day i cant get the 4th one? and i automatically progress to the 5th one?

or does it mean i still stay on the 3rd and can catch up on that one day i missed out on and get the 4th one on the day after the day that i missed?

Hey! it’s not only with The Juggernaut, it’s also bugged with “Deadly Mixtures” that’s supposed to give you a 15% increase, gives you a 15% decrease in PvE and PvP

I monitored them both in PvP :P with and without having the FlameThrower

You can execute switches directly from your Guild Wars 2 shortcut:

Right click on your Guild Wars 2 shortcut and select ‘Properties’.

In the ‘Target Area’ field you will see the location of your Guild Wars 2 executable file:

Write -autologin after the quote marks with a space in between:
“…\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -autologin

Launches the game automatically, if the client has been set to remember the Account Name and Password.

Hi, there is bug when using swoop on ranger then doing something and eagle gets stuck on character.. it looks very bad on my ranger.. please fix it! i dont want to run around Tyria with that eagle flapping through my characters head always..

Don’t get me wrong, I often play solo myself. It’s just that I don’t understand when people start complaining about the fact that they have to share the map with other people. If you want to play completely by yourself, go play Dragon Age or something.

Whenever I play solo I actually like it when people will join in for any random group event, finish a champion off together, and after that everybody goes their own way again.

i also had an aweful experience with this just now… i got the notification to voluntarily move to another map but i clicked no because i had bloodlust stacks at 25 and wanted to move to another map after i finshed completing it,

then after a while(forgetting about the 1 hour map countdown) i ran into 3 events in one place(metrica province defending the towers from inquest, gathering inquest golem parts and another defend the tower event) so i thought wow! 3 events at once.. i was happy that i would get alot of exp after completing them^^

but sadly.. during the middle of the first event.. i got guess what? yeah.. kicked from the map! all credit from the current event i was doing was gone! and also the 2 others i also had lost completely and had no chance of doing anymore..

it was then that i realized that this system is a bad idea.. imagine if this happened during a worldboss! =O

If you have some friends to run dungeons with you can have cleric even, whatever you wish. Dunno how rangers are looked upon since the patch, but the dungeon running folks think its zerker or gtfo. So there you have it. It depends on who you play with.

ok so i wont have any problems then, i mainly wish to be in pve solo as i have always been. but if i want the latest meta build in the lb/gs category would this pew pew power build be the right one? or is there a more latest one? because i worry this is for wvw only since the build lists a mix matched armor of soldiers for armor andzerker trinkets.. so i am confused! where is the pve variant?

For PvE you go full zerker, nothing there is hard enough to make you invest in survival.

That build is probably for WvW

LOL! this is SO funny! xD… are you guys kitten serious?? so let me get this straight… you make this AMAZING new change in which minis are accountbound and you no longer have to keep them in the inventory bag but instead can conveniently select them from the hero panel but they dont show up in open world because of high population?? LOL then what is the point of even having a mini? FIX THIS! i want to see my minipet in the openworld with me! not only by previewing it in my heropanel but actualy SEEING IT with me! and it not being hidden….

I have heard about this birthday blaster that people are getting and i just cant seem to get mine! i used my character to get the “Loyal” title but when i talk to the birthday vendor for the gun she doesnt say anything? and i have literally moved every one of my character to lions arch to talk to the birthday vendor.. it doesnt make sense! if i got the loyal title doesnt it mean im 2 years old now? how do i check when my 2nd birthday is? i know of the age system /age but it only tells me how many days i played my character and i dont know how to calculate my birthday from that =/ any help please! >.<

i deleted them staight away as i knew i had no chance at all of making one.. (which makes me sad btw) i have nowhere near 400 in any of the crafting disciplines and im not nearly as rich as some or most out there. I wish they could have made the backpiece more accessible to others like me.. or is it too hard to just make the whole backpiece as a reward?

Yes, that happens when you do a story mission with your order. I remember when i did the whispers mission where you rescue the minister Caudecus’s daughter from him, i then went to harathi hinterlands to explore the map a bit and an event pop out, where some ministers guards ambushed me because of what i did. I coudnt kill then though :/

I believe that the same kind of event happens with the vigil path too, but i dont remember it.

that’s awesome^^ i remember that story step, it was probably my one of my most enjoyable one. Well i hope in the future Arenanet can put more little things like this in open world it would make it more interesting for us as a player who actually liked the personal story ^.^

ok so im in dredgehaunt cliffs just exploring then suddendly boom!
this happens, veteran svanir climbs down from random tree and attacks me! now the rest is in the screenshot attached below. Now what’s interesting about this is that i completed the personal story step the sanguinary blade a while ago and i fought and killed steag.

So this is interesting to see.. and also i saw alot of people here claim that personal story has no impact on open world! but it does! well at least in a little way.. so anyone knows why this event happened to me? is it the personal story step that triggered it? or is it a random occurence regardless of personal story? also is there some other events like this for examnple if you did a certain step in the personal story from another order?

We’ve had several focused CDIs on different topics. Fans posted comments. Devs, usually Chris Whiteside replied and some of the info from those threads went back to the devs working on it.

The new living story journal probably came from ideas with the CDI. It stands for Collaborative Development Initiative.

I have recently tried out dragons reach and i must say i dont like it much… the way the ls episode mixes in open world events into its story quests is annoying.. because it basically results in a huge zerg rush plus it just doesnt feel personal.. not as much as it did with the first 2 episodes of ls2 which werent open world and i was fine with that.

This epsidoe is too much like ls1 with all the zerg open world events >.< so please stay with the episode 1 and 2 format like in drytop, for example if the story of drytop relied on us doing the sandstorm stuff (timed open world events) it would be really boring! go here, kill this, go back to guy. but in the first 2 episodes it was unique.. you could explore more.. interact with things ocassionally fight stuff (not in open world) and then there would be story.

in short i just dont like this format very much =/ i would be dissapointed if they stuck with this in the future..

I think it’s more there to at least attempt to explain our current isolation from Elona/Crystal Desert….and to tease every player that looks at it.

Nobody here has any idea of it’s future plans and it’s a sure bet that anyone at Anet that knows is not going to answer your question (and especially not here).

Actually you don’t hear from her at all, but you get a confirmation that she will send someone to the summit. To be honest, I was more pointing out that three of the five members of Destiny’s Edge didn’t make an appearance, and I kind of miss that. My theory is that they couldn’t get a hold of the original voice actors and thus had to somehow improvise. I still hope they can get Felicia back somehow.

yeah i hope felicia days comes back to voice her again too!^^ it’s for me one of those rare moments where we get a golden moment ingame to savor an excellent celebrity voice.. it’s a unique experience ( especially for people who follow her on youtube and watch her daily and know her well, it’s really fun to hear her voice in gw2)

this is apparantly a door that leads straight out onto the crystal desert, it’s not the first time i’ve seen it but since the ls has opened up new map areas i was wondering if we will ever be able to pass through the door and go to the crystal desert?

or is that reserved for an expansion? or will we never see what lies beyond it? because some believe we wont have an expansion with elona on it because of racist reasons since that is why gw2 teamhas said they wont reintroduce cantha into gw2. If so do you think we’ll see it in an ls episode? in light of the new ls and the fact that new areas are getting uncovered let’s speculate^^

Im in LA and i press E to talk to laranthir and i get no dialog from him.. all that appears is a faded screen with my gold count and karma you will understand better when you see the picture attached, i marked the area with red since it’s pretty faded but it’s there and when i talk to him then thats all that appears.. but no dialog or video sequence.. but how do i get him to talk to me?
i keep pressing e and click on him and all that shows is what i mentioned.. and also i couldnt find any other topic about this so i would like to get some help on how to fix this..

Still might be a good idea to run scandisk and defrag just to check and make sure your hard drive is OK. This might take a while so do it when there is plenty of time that you are away from you PC so you don’t have to wait to play.

Yeah i have been meaning to do both of those things, its just that i reformatted my c drive just last night hence why i have to reinstall gw2 so theoretically my hd should be clean of errors no? Anyways will take you up on that advise and do the scandisk and defrag just to be sure ^^

yes i had 514gb on drive c where it is being installed to and now its at 446 so theres plenty of space^^. Weird thing though is that i restarted my pc and after that the crashing seems to have fixed itself .. it’s good but also pretty worrisome.. =/ i wonder what caused it to happen. Anyways this problem is solved now ^^
