I think its a warning.

If we keep killing the dragons without something to balance the power the world will be destroyed. Similar to what is believed to have happened to the humans original world (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/lore/Where-did-Humans-come-from). The 6 god’s killed off there Elder whatever’s and caused the planet to die, they took the humans through the mists and came to tyria.

The human gods destroyed their world the same way we have started to destroy tyria. The Harbinger of Woe is warning us of the end result of our players current path. IMO.

The worst thing is that we cannot stop these changes in the world, perhaps Aurene will help us in some way, but I am sure she won’t consume all of the magic. We have Lazarus, who consumes magic as well, but will they be enough to stop the catastrophy?

The most frightening thing here is that this guy is called “Harbringer of Woe”… We don’t know what this horrible prophecy will bring. Perhaps as WoodenPotatoes said- destroying of Tyria or something what is going to happen if 2 dragons will die.

We should say to Taimi what is happening in the Mists and about Arkk. This is really important.

We saw the connection with LS3 and Raid’s storytelling. Xera- the last boss said, that Lazarus will come and nothing can stop his return. Maybe we will see some topics from the Mists to LS3.

Anyway the situation in Tyria and in the Mists is really grim.

We’re in the dead end…

So I wanna ask you few questions:

1. So which planets and what would happen to Tyria if they would destroy each other?
2. Why wouldn’t Dragons orbs be there? I think, that it fits perfectly to situation in Tyria and it is not a case, that this Harbringer appeared with Ep 3.
3. Do you mean Twilight? There are stars, but you can’t see any planets or orbs there. It is absolutely confirmed, that Tyria is a part of cosmos, but is there any theory about other planets, or just speculations?

I was clear with that there are Dragons orbs. I think, that ANet wouldn’t put a Harbringer, which would show planets’ destruction. That would be really weird.

I think, that this is the sign, that we will be back to some LS2’s discoveries like Omadd’s Machine. But there are only my speculations.

But if there is a planet- Tyria, so there has to be another planet, right? So 2 planets are going to meet each other and destroy themselves? What? O_o

Anyway the planet’s destruction sounds really ridiculous.

I didn’t write, that it predicts something joyful, killing 2 dragons will cause a disorder of LLE again, but Tyria survived when LLE came out after Mordremoth’s death.
Dragons are creatures, which balance the magic in Tyria, but they use the magic for bad things. We are in the dead end, because if we won’t kill dragons, they will grow stronger, but if we will kill them all, the magic in Tyria would be unstoppable.

WOULD BE UNSTOPPABLE, because we have Aurene. Aurene is a dragon as Jormag or Primordus are, so she consumes magic, so we have to have her in the our side, because she is our last hope against this disorder of magic.

I would like to say, that killing dragons is something good, but after when we learned about that they consume loose magic, I am really worried.

Anyway you can see whatever you like in this screenshots about Harbringer, but Tyria’s destruction is impossible.

SPOILER ALERT POSSIBLE SPOILERS FROM LS2, LS3.

If you done all of Nightmare’s achievements and you have 100lvl in Fractals you can start challenge mode. After when you activate challange the guy- Harbringer of Woe appears.

When you zoom in this guy, then you can see really frightening view [screenshot below].

Omadd’s Machine showed the orbs [a reminder][Screenshot below]:
Primordus- Orange/Red
DSD- Blue
Jormag- White
Zhaitan- Dark Green
Kralkatorrik- Purple
Mordremoth- Lime Green

I think that Harbringer gives us a view of crash 2 orbs- Orange/Red and White.
So will the Commander and Taimi’s plan be successful? I think that it will.

Anyway I can see another hint now. Perhaps these orbs show the order of fights with dragons:

Mordremoth’s orb is in the middle, we killed him already
Zhaitan’s orb is farthest, we killed him already too.

Primordus’ and Jormag’s orbs are really close to each other. In the LS3 we knew, that 2 dragons are active and in the Omadd’s Machine the orbs are pararell and are close each to each other as I said.

Deep Sea Dragon’s orb is a 2nd one, perhaps after when we’ll kill Jormag and Primordus, Steve will awake.

Kralkatorrik’s orb is a 3rd one, so it is possible, that we will kill him in the end.

If you watched WoodenPotatoes “The Arkk in the Mists”, he says in the end, that this Harbringer shows destruction of Tyria, but I don’t think so. I think, that it shows the destruction of Dragon’s orbs.

I don’t know why, but I have not access to start CM100…

and i hate how much time you’re spending on 3 flashy sets of armour that a tiny minority of the playerbase will be able to get, unobtainable in WvW, pvp or even world pve, only raids.
i’d rather the time be spent making several simple looking armour sets that everyone can use rather than one super-duper-all-singing-all-dancing armour that only hardcore raiders will get.

we’re all STARVING for new armours, not just raiders.

They will give the balance. This is a bit annoying, that in every patch players want balances. And this is weird, that ANet gives changes, which turn into bad ones. I don’t know why ANet gives these balances if they always are bad or something.

The price is really high, there are not ways to farm it in game. I think, that this should be a point for farming, not leather. Possibly merge them both.

Anyway the price of mystic coins is ridiculous. ANet has to do the farm, in which we would get mystic coins faster.

1st- because there is only one boring activity
2nd- ANet didn’t give any Gem Store update with new items (only dyes)
3rd- no Black Lion weapons
4th- there is not fun in Divinity’s Reach, as every Events through Wintersday to Halloween, because ANet doesn’t give anything new.

It is really a miracle, that for somebody the 3-weeks- event is interesting these 3 weeks. I doubt, that you would be interested with the passion and engagement in any event in Tyria for 3 weeks.

Rox didn’t say, that Canach IS in the Isles of Janthir, but he MAKES his way to the Isles of Janthir. So it doesn’t mean, that we are going to the Isles instantly. I think it will look like in ep 2 and ep 3, that we will get a introductory map for raid, something like Verdant Brink.

PvP’s team and PvE’s team don’t work in the same time and I really don’t think so, that the dates are connected. I expect a trailer tomorrow, but we will see in ~25h.

I don’t believe leaks, especially after this “logos leaks”. And the weirdest thing in this is that it started few weeks from episode 3 and this “logos leaks” started Chinese People. And suddenly before episode 4 “new map leaked”, seems like someone plays with us. I don’t trust in these leaks, because perhaps they cheat us. You know how good is technique of China, they can even cheat us with the looking of all the dragons. But I believe only in the devs. Why did these leaks appear only in China? Isn’t ANet’s HQ in USA? So ANet sent the patch to China first and accidentaly they gave the new map in China… Yeti is more possible than this. But everyone knows, that something like Yeti doesn’t exist and this is just gorilla. And everybody wants make sensations, because they found “big footsteps” and in fact someone just cheats us.

I don’t trust in this leaks, because every patch of ANet always was Top Secret and even China cannot get any info from HQ of USA. I am 100% sure.

I just wonder about Rytlock and Rifts, which appeared in October. Revenants have the abilities to open Rifts.

I didn’t mean, that the Commander is not important, is not useful, but the Commander cannot say to Queen Jennah- ‘Because I am the protector of Aurene, I deprive you the throne!’ We are not almighty. We are observators and we have to lead Tyria’s army to destroy Dragons, we are representatives of Charrs, Norns, Asuras, Sylvaries, Humans we are not leaders.

You can see even now, how Braham behaved towards us. Perhaps we had respect in LS2, but we have not respect in LS3 and this is our problem.

I don’t think so, that we will see the situations like this in LS3, maybe in the next expansion or LS4. Because we really need Lazarus. I think, that it will happen after Kralkatorrik’s death, when Aurene will grow very powerful and Lazarus as well oh and Deep Sea Dragon too. I think, that he will turn into evil character, but not yet. I believe on his good intentions now, we will see what will happen in the next episodes or Living Stories.

And you are right, that Rytlock won’t come back to us so fast. We cannot say to charrs: ‘Release him!’, because this is the matter of charrs.

I don’t wanna see a chapter with these norns. We saw enough. Braham will lead norns to the mouth of Jormag and we will just observe him. The Commander said: “I hope cooler heads prevail. He has to see this isn’t the way to go…” and said: “He certainly doesn’t want to be around me right now.”. The Commander cannot deny his stupid believes, it is like saying to Asuras, that Colleges are stupid and don’t bring anything good. Or saying to Charr, that they are weak and are just poor little cats.

The Commander has to only observe sometimes and CANNOT interfere to matters of other Races. I didn’t see the situation, that every Race gave obedience to the Commander. In the World Summit we were only mediators.

The Commander cannot say what the race can or cannot do. We are not Queen Jennah, Zojja, Phlunt, Rytlock, Knut, Eir, Caithe, Logan or Pale Tree. We are just a small character, we only kill dragons and we are not meant to rule over the Races.

So I think, that we won’t visit Hoelbrak, because Norns can do whatever they like, even if they will bring the catastrophe to other Races. We really cannot say to them: ‘your belief is stupid and you are very ridiculous.’

Why? Halloween gifts kept dropping for a bit after that festival.

ANet has only told us that the guaranteed slot would be seasonal; they never defined the meaning of ‘seasonal’. So far, it appears to be close to ‘monthly+’ and we plenty of time left to keep to that schedule (if that’s what it is).

Yes, they were in the chests, but after 2 weeks, when episode 3 came out, then to the chests have been added frozen exotic weapon fragment.

I think, that the wintersday gifts will be to January 24.

They will be deleted with the next episode.

This is really interesting, that Rytlock was in Personal Story, LS 1,2, HoT and LS3. And in every episode of LS3. I think, that he is one of the most important character in LS3, but I still don’t know why. Perhaps I and we will find an answer in the next episode.

Hi, I would like to share with my predictions and maybe they will come true.

I expect:
1) Scruffy 2.0 in the next episode. Rytlock will come back to Rata Novus. We will tell Taimi and Rytlock everything about the situations, who happened during our journey in Bitterfrost Frontier. Maybe Rytlock will say about his secrets finally.
2) I don’t expect a chapter with Norns and the Fang of the Serpent, but we will focus on the Kryta’s matters.
3) We will want to give the invitation for Kasmeer. I expect, that she will agree. We will check the info from Rox, who said, that Canach makes his way to Isles of Janthir.
4) I would like to see one chapter with Aurene and Caithe. I would hear, that Caithe would leave Aurene and would go to Pale Tree, then she would come back to Tarir and then she would say everything about Pale Tree and new Sylvaries.

I am so hyped for the next week, maybe we will get the trailer, who knows.

There’re only few ways to good farming- HoT maps. Auric Basin is a good way to farm, but we will see a nerf. I don’t know how this nerf will look like, but if it "will makethe economy better " (whatever it means), I am just waiting for this.

But this has really bad site, because players are really accustomed to this farm and that’s the way to farm for many months and suddenly this farm has to disappear.

I am just scared by this nerf and I really don’t know what ANet prepares, but that doesn’t look good.

I would see new way to farm, maybe Mystic Coins farm and T6 mats farm.

The problem with this is that there are already dozens of ways to “farm” in this game. People just flock to ABML because its by far the most profitable per time spent. When its nerfed, another farm will inherently have a higher profitability per hour and people will flock there. I don’t think its possible to ever perfectly balance all areas of the game, but simply bringing ABML down and closer to the rest of the game will be healthy

I am really bored by ABML and this event, but if players like it, so why suddenly this farm has to disappear?
The hardest part of making the farm by devs is probably make the farm work for long time and ABML really did it, even new farms are not good as this farm.

Regardless of whether you think ANet should nerf/buff/do nothing to farms, ABML needs to be addressed. The fact that its a farm isn’t a problem. The problem is that its so much more lucrative than any other farm in the game. Its way too lucrative compared to other content, especially the other HoT metas. That needs to come down. It needs to be more in line with other game “farms”

No, not ABML has to be “more in line”, the other farms have to be. If ANet will give more rewards to each farm, then won’t be the situation, that everyone makes ABML.

In Core Tyria are a lot of map, but nobody doesn’t farm there, because there are not loots like in HoT maps. I mean, that I don’t know what you mean with “more in line”.
Tell me any farm in Core Tyria, who brings a lot of players every single day. (no DT and SW), old regions. So what do you mean with this “in line”, if there are not other farms with really approximate rewards?

They said, that the making outfits is easier than making every element of an armor separately and I reconciled with this and I just enjoy everything we get. But I respect players, who think different and I know what you are talking about, because I had the same thoughts as you.

Let me add some of mine to your topic:

1. LS3 total of 6 episodes.
- Anet stated LS3 will have less episodes than ls2 and we already know they have 3 separate teams working for each episode. They work half a year on one episode (this will also be important in point 2). So we have possible outcomes 3×2, 3×3, 3×4. Only logical outcome to pick is 3×2 (unless they decide to make 5 episodes, but continue reading please)

2. Second expansion and timing of releases.
- So we already know that the second expansion is in the work for a +year now (except for a break when they were fixing HoT). I would say we can expect launch at september/october this year.

Lets do the math, logic and up-to-date observation of releases. Take note that Mo already stated they want to avoid content draughts like the one happened after and prior to HoT release:

LS3E4 end of january, LS3E5 end of march, LS3E6 end of may/begining of June. Accordingly teams 1 and 2 will be free to join Expansion team to speed up/testing on the final stage of works.

After release of final LS3E6 team no 3 will start working on LS4e1 to make it ready for begining of 2018 to avoid too long content drought. Next we have the release of expac at which team 1 goes back to LS, team 2 stays for 3 months to support fixes within expac and then goes LS as well – and again we have a very good pace of LS episode each 2 months which people seem to be ok with.

By this we get around 3-4 months between ls3e6 and 2. expansion which seems reasonable due to hype increase and awaiting + droping hints at new content. We also have 3-4 months between 2. expansion and ls4e1 due to content ammount we get in 2. expansion to chew on.

3. Announcement.
OK so PAX south maybe? Tho a bit more probable is time near to ls3e5/6 release. It will be more impactful to drag our attention away from “no more ls3? omg” to “whoa new expac”. Seems like good moment to drop such info.

Yes, I did read this and this is why I don’t expect episodes after Ep 4, because I think, that they would repeat epic battles as they did in LS1, because this point, I mean these great world events made this game absolutely amazing and every player reminds these great time of Guild Wars 2, when ANet gave a lot of amazing content- Fractals, Edge of the Mists, breathtaking story with Scarlet Briar, you know what I mean.

I would love to see the mix of LS1 and LS2 in this year, I mean story with epic world events. I quoted the MO’s words many times in this Forum, because I’m still waiting for epic battles, as he said.

I really think, that the new Epizode will open the gate to something weird and that will cause something interesting in the world, but I cannot say anything, if I didn’t see any trailer for Ep 4

We still don’t know what is happening with them. "GW2 Upcoming Spoilers: Caithe forms all-sylvari guild named “Destiny’s Hedge”. Logan & Zojja go into food service ind. as “Kralkaterring”.". First thing, I thought was “WTH is going on” What if it will come true… This is so funny anyway

Stupidity, so the matter of Norns
Braham needs a teat, he behaves worst than kid, he started to attack us, because suddenly he wants show how great and fantastic he is, but this situation looks really ridiculous. He made “a crack in the Ice” and suddenly all of norns want fight against Jormag. Zojja and Logan as Kralkaterring, Norns as Jormaterring.

A new 4-bosses raid soon?
I would see a new raid releases together with the episode 4. But I have to wait few weeks and maybe we will get the new raid. I am waiting with the impatience.

New Fractal- “Maybe? Probably. Yes.”
Chaos Fractal is really good, I like mechanics in this fractal, especially last boss is really good. But Nightmare Fractal is the masterpiece, I love an idea, that ANet brings back LS1 stuffs and I hope, that we will see the next Fractal. Maybe the next return of LS1’s things, who knows.

Fashion Wars 2- Gem Store updates
I like new stuffs in Gem Store, outfits are good idea, everybody can find whatever wants. I hope, that this idea will be continued, because the Fashion Wars is really great.

Shinyyy, Shinyyy- New Legendaries
New year, new legendaries, so I would see a lot of new legendaries. We have six, new legendaries- Staff, Axe, Pistol, Mace, Short Bow and Shield. In the next big update I would see new longbow or dagger. Anet, please make my wish come true, I want legendaries from you.

2017 came to us and this means that we will see a new expansion rather for sure. You will find some speculations, maybe you will smile or laugh or cry, whatever you want and the wishes to the best Community and ArenaNet, who created this Community, not only in this Forum, but also in Reddit. Some Speculations
We don’t know when 4th episode will come out, but I think, that a lot of players expect January as the month of release (maybe something like Halloween event and then Ep 3 ~2 months ago).
I think, that the Wintersday will end on January 10 and then Episode 4 will come out on January 24 (something like in November).

2016- the year of ups and downs
I don’t wanna make a summary for 2016, we saw ups and downs, but everything is going to be good if devs will work so hard as they did. I am so happy, that Gliding in Core Tyria was added and this thing was the best in the whole year for me.

2017- more secret will be revealed
So, new year brings hopes and every single player wants get something, what would make play this Game constantly, I am really interested by Living Story 3, because of new story and new maps. I feel, that a lot of secrets will be revealed, much more than in Ep 1, 2 or 3. (We will discover that Jennah is a reptilian- kidding, maybe…).

New Epic Battles
I don’t think so, that we will see 5th episode, I think, that the next episode will be last in this year and then the wave of problems will cause a lot of bad things, maybe we will see an events similar to the Twisted Marionette Battle or to the Battle on the Breachmaker before an Expansion of course.

New World Bosses
I am a bit disappointed, that new maps didn’t bring a new world boss- we only see some champions in Ember Bay and a lot of svanirs in Bitterfrost Frontier. I expected the Primordus’s or Jormag’s boss- new Megadestroyer, new Claw of Jormag. I thought, that the frozen Claw of Jormag in Bitterfrost Frontier would rise and will cause an epic battle, but it didn’t happen. I don’t expect a world boss in the new location, but who knows…

Episode 4- Kryta’s matters’ll back?
We didn’t get any information from Queen Jennah and Kasmeer. I heard a lot of dialogues in Divinity’s Reach, who say, that Queen Jennah is too young to be the Queen, and Caudecus should be the king of Kryta. 50% Kryta wants keep Jennah as the queen, 50% wants someone new. It has to cause a war.

Sylvari and Pale Tree’s Future
Sylvari are afraid of their future, because even Nightmare Court couldn’t stand Mordremoth’s voice. Sylvari is really young race and the balance between Sylvari and other races has been breached so much. Caithe is a leader of Sylvari now, but she has to restore trust. The Commander trusted her again, she took care of Aurene, but we don’t know, will other races trust her again.

Aurene and her destiny
“[She] could be the Key to defeating the Dragons”. In the time, when at least we have to stand against 2 dragons, what is the role for Aurene in these dark times? The Exalted says, that she will get a great power. She is so young now, but I am waiting for her first steps in Tyria.

Taimi and Rata Novus
I really like the great dialogues between the Commander and her, are so so funny, but with the seriousness. I expect more “a little talks”, because are great part of the whole storytelling. I like the idea, that we would force Primordus and Jormag to destroy each other, we have not an army, like we had against Mordremoth, so we have to find easier ways to kill the dragons.

Rytlock’s Secrets
Rytlock is really mysterious after his journey in the Mists and I am really curious what he saw there. I hope that after some “problems” with other charrs, he will say everything and he won’t be “zipper-lips” anymore.

We have the poll about the name of new guild, so we can expect happy end.

Braham will be like “new Eir” Dont worry, he will be fine

She will be back in the next chapter with Canach, Lazarus, Queen Jennah and Marjory. I am sure, that ANet will give something with White Mantle’s thread and with Kryta’s things.

We called DE 2.0 during HoT’s story, but it doesnt exist even as Dragon’s Watch, because we are broken so so much…
We cannot say, that we have the group of heroes working together, because this group wont exist in the next epizodes.

Marjory is like “I am going my way without you, commander”.
Kasmeer run away from us to her Majesty.
Rytlock has to care of charrs’s things.
Rox wont left her friend- Braham.
Taimi said, that she wont sleep until she will discover all of the dragon’s secrets.
Braham is going to lead all of norns to the mouth of Jormag and to the catastrophe.

But if we have the poll about the name of new guild, so I expect happy end.

Rytlock will say, what he saw in the Mists finally,
Braham will lose, but he will learn his fault and we will work together again.
Rox will accompany Braham, she will like our spy.
Taimi… I am scared about her so much, because if she wants work every day and every night in the lab, something has to happen with her health.
I dont care about Marjory, but I think, that Lazarus wont kill her or something
Kasmeer- something about her, about her family etc.

And we will be reunited and we will have party and other weird things. Canach and Anise will have wedding, Kas and Jory as well. YaY, happy end!!

If you know the myth of Norns, you should know, that they really believe in this. I think, that the situation from the last cutscene will cause, that Norns will follow Braham.

Every race have another point now:
Asura- Primordus
Sylvari and the Commander will work together, because Caithe and the Commander have good realationship now.
Charr- they are just staying in Black Citadel and they do nothing.
Human- they have to deal with bandits and Caudecus.
Norn- they go through to the mouth of Jormag.

We wont kill dragons, if we wont be united. We are in dead end…

It’s been a minute since “The Dragon’s Reach”, and she’s still in a coma.. When will she recover? When can we talk to her about the current dragon situation? I’m sure she wants to hear about the egg too…

I think, that Caithe said her everything.

We know, that after Mordremoth’s death from the Pale Tree were born new Sylvaries, so some Ley Line Energy with Mordremoth’s corruption was absorbed by the Pale Tree.

I think, that ANet wants hide something new about new Sylvaries, but we know nothing about it. We just know something from Caithe, but this is nothing special.

Will new Sylvaries be Vine- and Death-touched? We dont know. But as we know, Aurene is Vine- and Death-touched as well, but we as the Commander have to remove any danger, which could appear, because of this mutation.

Caithe is my favorite character in the game. The view of this character looks different in personal story, ls2, HoT and ls3:
Personal Story- she is the mentor, she really didnt like courtiers and this is good, because they are traitors. If you didnt make story as Sylvari, you cannot say anything about Caithe, because someone who says something bad about her, should make a Sylvari first, and then should judge her.
LS2- she was a bit absent in the story, but suddenly she escaped with the Egg. The Wyld Hunt is the most important part of the Sylvari and this call is so powerful, that Sylvari cannot say “no” to this call. So I understand Caithe, because you cannot escape from something, what the heart is saying to you.
HoT- I love the scene, when Caithe said “no” to Mordremoth(I mean Mordremoth as a corrupted Faolain). And in the Bitter Harvest she was bullied by the Commander, and the fact, that she didnt scream at the commander is really amazing.
LS3- Caithe is really clearly showed in this LS. She told to the Commander about everything what happened and she was full of understanding. This is interesting, that she is really humble. The Commander attacked her in the Dragon Vigil, but she was like: “I understand you, Commander, but please: give me the last chance” and I am glad, that she got this chance. In the first chapter of epizode 3, she showed her meekness again. She is not like Braham “only me me me, I will go my way” etc, she is the voice of all of Sylvari and she is really modest.

I think that the whole theme of this LS will be to actually forge the new Guild (I don’t remember the english name, in French it’s Gardiens de l’Eternité). So far, Taimi is increasingly arrogant, Braham belligerent and Marjory does as she pleases. Rytlock, Logan and Zojja are currently unavailable, Kasmeer is MIA and Canach still bound by duty to Anise.

I think next LS will deal with Kas, once way or another, and the next two/three episodes (if it is this long) will pave the way for the new expansion, with Braham failing in his endeavor, Marjory being played by Lazarus and Taimi being met with one catastrophic failure in her secret lab, only for the PC to actually bring them all together.

Or at least it is what I see as the only way possible to salvage the new guild. Otherwise it is stillborn.

Dragon’s Watch has the same problems like Destiny’s Edge had. But the situation is stranger now. We killed Mordremoth and we should work together now, but this victory made the new Guild broken.

We need a new leader, because the Commander doesnt know what to do.

We have to be united.

But we have to wait 2-3 months for Kryta’s thread and then we will know what happens with the Queen, with Kas, Jory, Canach and Lazarus.

But we have to invite one Sylvari. Canach is a member of Shining Blades, so he has the
obligation to the Queen and Anise.
We have to invite Caithe, because she is the leader of Sylvari and if we will have Sylvari, who want show Tyria, that they are not useless, they will be great army. The Nightmare Court has not leader, very bad leader- Faolain, so Caithe could turn them into good.

And I said this other day, that the Duchess, who fought with the Pact against Mordremoth, could reunite with Caithe.

We have 2 threads left: thread of Kryta, thread of Sylvari after Mordremoth’s death.

Jormag and Norn’s thread and Primordus and Asura’s thread will be the theme of the next expansion.

This is just myth. Norns have to know, that myths dont kill dragons. He is stupid like Norns are.

Eir was last normal Norn, we have to deal with stupid one now.
