It’s confirmed that LS3 contains 6 episodes. Now we will have 5th, then the Finale of LS3 and then an announcement for Expansion 2.

Without it, they could have never resurrected Lazarus… The REAL Lazarus.

This opinion of the Commander was cutted out of context, then the Commander said that this can be another propaganda. And the whole trailer was told by the suspicions of the Commander.

I am starting to totally disagree with my character. He treats everyone as the suspicious guys: Caithe, Marjory, Lazarus, Braham. Who’s next? Taimi, Rox? Or even Rytlock?

I understand that he wants to know people but how to earn the trust if someone can’t trust even after someone says that she/he is sorry (I mean Caithe).

Wait what? Does it mean Kryta is in danger again? What’s that supposed to mean? This thing in the whole trailer surprises me the most. I thought after Caudecus’ death and when Jennah showed that she is really powerful that nothing can attack Kryta anymore.

If Kryta is in danger again, so perhaps the theory that Jennah could be an imposter could be true.

Mortal danger. A mursaat slash not a mursaat? on the way! He’s on the way? What should we do?

I think this dialogue will be told when the commander will say his suspicions to Taimi and Marjory and Kasmeer.

He’s trapped us here

Everyone is thinking that it has to be Lazarus, Lazarus trapped them there, right? Buuut there is another man, who would go mad: Phlunt! Taimi was lying to Phlunt all the time!

It can be like this: Taimi, Phlunt, Kas and Jory are in the secret lab, then Taimi reveals the truth to Phlunt, he (the powerful Asura) will want to punish them and say something like this: “you lied to me all the time, you think your discoveries will bring you the glory?! No! Now everyone will see that I am a genius, PROGENY!”

And then in Novus Asura are starting to fight, Lazarus appears and he sets us free. Yay, Lazarus Superhero! This is one of many possibilities. So I don’t say I believe in this theory, but just saying it can be possible.

The lies, the willingness to kill to get what he wants.

Again the same situation like above. It can be Phlunt. He is jealous obviously, because Taimi achieved more than he.

Lazarus wants to kill everyone who just crosses his way? I don’t know… Is Lazarus so mad? Or Phlunt was planing this all the time? The rebel in Novus.

This reaction… Everyone is saying that she reacts like this because Lazarus reveals who he is. But she didn’t say “it can’t be he/she”, so we can’t say she is talking about Lazarus, perhaps she reacts about something what happens with Dragons, or that Braham became a pest. Many possibilities.

I am really confused what “the deception” would mean… It can be anything: Lazarus, the unknown secrets of Dragons, about secret of Malyck? Anything!

Hmm I wouldn’t be so anti-Lazarus, I mean the way how the trailer was built- a lot of Commander’s opinions from ep4 in there. Everytime you can see and hear that Lazarus is evil, everyone is in danger etc (in this trailer).

Perhaps the commander’s insinuations about him aren’t reasonable. He stated himself as Lazarus, who has been reborn and he is searching for allies, allies who fight against Dragons. Do you imagine the situation like this: “Hi Commy Tommy or whatever you are called, I just wanna tell you that what I said before to you, Luminate and Jory they are all lies, Yeah Commy Tommy.. Muhahahaha” I can’t imagine he would say this even after we didn’t attack him, we didn’t trust him, but I still believe he is on our side. He wanna kill these dragons, are you expecting he would suddenly join the Dragon’s army? Please… Mursaat is a powerful race and they fought with Dragons before and they escaped, but Lazarus wanna repair the past. I don’t know how you are seeing Lazarus after the trailer, but I believe he is not evil, anyway I think he just wanna help us.

And Lazarus caused an explosion in Bloodstone Fen, so if he would cause an explosion in Abbadon’s Mouth this would mean the Bloodstone would open another portals to raids, I think.

it makes sense too, since there’s a bloodstone there, which gives us a reason to be there since we want to chase down Lazarus

Hmm Lazarus did not state he wanna consume every Bloodstone, we can speculate about this, but I doubt he would become more powerful when everyone is watching him and how he’s acting.

He said he wanted consume Bloodstone to recover himself and as he said really wisely he saved many lives. Perhaps he saved the Commander and the rest of our team as well, because no harm came to us.

If they are preparing something in Ring of Fire I doubt we would have to chase after Lazarus because of Bloodstone.

Bloodstones are the gates for Raids, so are you expecting a raid in Ring of Fire now? I doubt it, because the new raid is near Isles of Janthir, I doubt ANet wanna jump from north to south etc. Too much work.

I think he (DSD) is the point of next the expansion.

Water stuffs suck from years! We have 2 underwater weapons to choose… New legendary underwater weapons and new weapons for underwater combat are really necessary.

We can’t use any mastery underwater, no Spectral Aid etc. I think it’s a sign they are working on it.

I said to my friend from gw2 that if there won’t be underwater expansion I will leave the game.

I think we will get a trailer on May 2 and ep 5 will be on May 9. Maybe later, but I don’t expect the trailer the next Tuesday.

MO wrote it’s an important episode, so I expect it in the middle of May.

They didn’t add any soundtrack for episode 4 of LS3. I wonder why, but I expect Maclain Diemer is working hard for another episode or an expansion, its not easy to compose, I think he needs an inspiration and time.

There is not any soundtrack for new raid Bastion of the Penitent, neither for LS3 episode 4 as I said before.

We are getting close to episode 5. What does “episode 5 will be important” mean?

My prediction is that we will get a map with the new big meta event. So the new map can be anywhere.

I still remember the words of MO about new epic meta event (looking like Marionette) and ANet did not do any epic event yet.

“As we continue, we will absolutely have epic events like the ones in LS1 as some of our broad story goals” Mike O’Brien- March 4/5, 2016.

Did he mean a running ley line anomaly or another current events? If yes… that would be really disappointing for me. But if these current events are leading us to something really big and epic, that would be awesome.

If they are preparing something really amazing in the end, I will not say anything bad against ANet anymore.

I am still waiting for the proof that we will have 6 epizodes in LS3 and I am really starting to think that perhaps I am right that ep 5 will be the last one.

I think Lazarus is Lazarus, because we have not any proofs that he could be an another person, because:

1) He said he is Lazarus and he was Lazarus the Dire, but he wants to fight with us.
2) Canach and the Commander found the “last aspect”, but they did not say: its Lazarus for 100%, the Commander said clearly: " I’ll send this to Exemplar Caulden with the Shining Blade to authenticate it; make sure it’s not just more propaganda…"

And I believe its a propaganda because of Bauer’, Xera’ and Caudecus’s tough relationship.

3) In GW was not clear Lazarus is necromancer or elementalist, in GW2 I think he showed up as elementalist and this is why he used Fire to burn the enemies. And perhaps Jory was excited, because of Lazarus’s necromancy. Because during the Dragon Vigil we could see an area around Lazarus, perhaps its one of his necromancer’s skills.

4) Anyway Luminate didn’t show that he doesn’t believe Lazarus. He asked Lazarus about everything, about the past and Mursaat’s acting years ago, when they disappeared.

5) I don’t think so Lazarus will want to attack Marjory or something, he wants to stand with us against any enemy. If he would make something bad to our allies, he would die from our weapon.

I doubt if any God of Tyria would pretend to be Lazarus. Why would they start to fight with us now? Why would they wanna White Mantle as their army?

The left us for good and I really doubt it would be Balthazar, Kormir or Lyssa or anybody else.

Why not Gleam? As you said we cannot trust Lazarus fully, and I doubt as you that he would not pretend to be Lazarus.

Why not Kasmeer or Queen Jennah? I don’t think so they would pretend to be someone else. That would be weird and that would show them as mad people.

Demmi fought wih us and she was weakened as we were, but I doubt if someone who was attacked straight into heart would survive. It was totally unexpected so she could not dodge or defend herself.

During the cinematics I was like- whom is he going to attack? I hoped he will kill Canach or Anise, but that was shock for me he killed his own child.

Anyway there is nothing to blame Logan, that Caudecus was mad. We stood near Demmi and we did nothing to defend her.

Episode 5 wont be the last, also, we wont be going back to the Maguuma, Episode 1 was designed to be the final episode of the Maguuma storyline for a reason, so we could finally get away from Sylvari storyline for a good while.

Which is exactly why the mantle has become a big deal in Season 3, and why were looking at other dragons for once.

Episode 5 will take us further north beyond Bitterfrost, its almost a certainty, because the Braham storyline is likely to be next so they can move into the Taimi stuff. Episode 6 will likely reveal the identity of Lazarus, and culminate with the second expansion reveal.

That would be great. Anyway I don’t watch GW2 streams and by the way I didn’t know they would say something what’s upcoming on the streams. Weird.

If there will be something big with Taimi I will be pleased.

Yeah you are right, back to Scarlet storyline again… that would be interesting but this is unlikely.

Hello everybody!

Few weeks ago I posted a topic about that the episode 5 will be the last one. Now I wanna speculate about the new map [http://imgur.com/a/GVMJC].
I think that the new map will be near Dry Top, Thaumanova Reactor and Rata Novus. If ANet won’t be lazy perhaps it will be near Rata Sum as well [picture above].

Why there?

We still don’t know what happened there after Scarlet’s death, perhaps we will discover unknown secrets of Sylvari, Asura. Maybe some unknown inventions of Scarlet [that would fit to the Taimi’s storyline].

Perhaps some changes in the Mists [rework of Thaumanova Fractal] are the sign…

Some people think we will come back to Ring of Fire or perhaps to the regions of Norn.
Like I said I think it will be the last episode, because it would be weird if we would go to these locations, anyway I am sure dragons feel that we wanna do something bad to them. We have to kill them fast. With or without Norn.

We’ll see and I hope we will get a new episode in ~30-35 days or so.

I am waiting for your opinions. Do you think we will go to the location near Metrica, Dry Top Rata Sum and Novus, or perhaps to Ring of Fire [Abaddon’s Mouth?], or will we force Norn to ignore their legend and stay with us?

I think she knows everything, she is a member of the powerful and secret organization- the Mesmer Collective. I think they are acting like the Order of Whispers, they observe, study and attack if it is totally necessary.

I think that would explain why she wasnt in ls3 yet. Perhaps she is studying the new magic of mesmer and she will show herself as the chronomancer. That would be great.

The whole city? it is not clean in the story instance you can see that she protected only the palace not the whole city, but in Lake Doric the whole city is protected so I am confused.

But I think I know what you mean- you probably like the theory that in the Palace are the clones of Anise and Jennah and they are doing different things. Hmm if it would be true, your theory would be correct, but we have not any proofs.

But why would she protect the Egg? I think that if mesmers would do these things like this, that would ruin them. Look- they wanna change into anything they wanna- this is dangerous and not possible.

Anyway Jennah finally showed that she is the real Queen, who can protect her people and the big shield doesn’t mean she absorbed any power. The magic was given by the Gods and she got the gift from Lyssa. I am sure she is not Lyssa or Lazarus.

But I love every theory about Lazarus so you have good theory and we have to wait if it is true

The most possible theories about Lazarus are:

1) Lazarus is Lazarus (I believe in this theory)
2) Lazarus is the human god- Lyssa- Balthazar- Kormir. If it is Kormir I will cry, Kormir is my fave goddess!
3) It is Gleam- Glint’s first Scion
4) One of the legendary characters like Palawa Joko
5) Jennah or Kasmeer.

The devs actually said that the dragons are territorial and if the two should ever cross paths, they will fight each other. It hasn’t really applied before, as there is almost never two different types of dragon minions on a single map, but I think we will see it when Primordus and Jormag fight. So there’s no worry that the two dragons will ever team up, but that doesn’t mean it’ll be any easier to kill them.

I am always wondering why Dragons wanna destroy Tyria so bad. Yes, I know that they wanna rule over Tyria and one character said that they won’t stop until the life in Tyria will not be destroyed (or something like this- probably Trahearne said this, I am not sure.) EDIT: I did not end this thought. I wonder if not every dragon wanna destroy Tyria. What if Deep Sea Dragon (DSD) has the most interesting secret, what if DSD is not like the others. Every dragon attacked the continent already, but we did not see any attack of DSD. Why is DSD keep hiding? This is the biggest mystery of GW2. DSD is mysterious very much and I would not be surprised if he would be our ally, not an enemy.

Dragons have respect to another dragon. I noticed that they do not interfere into territory of another one.

Zhaitan when he awoke did not send his minions to Far Shiverpeaks or Maguuma Jungle. We did not see Risen in the Ring of Fire- Ember Bay. Mordremoth sent his minions to charr’s territory, but his vines did not cross the Dragonbrand.

Another weird thing about the magic of Dragons- Primordus got the magic from Mordremoth and only Mordremoth knew about the Egg. And why didn’t Mordrem attack the hatchling? But the new Destroyers, how did Primordus know it? How? How did he know that the Egg is exactly in this place, in Forgotten City?

1st answer- the other minions of Primordus gave this info to him, but why would they care about the Egg or Master of Zephyrites?
I think that Mordremoth got the info about the Egg from the Dream. The Dream said it to Caithe and Caithe was a bit in the influence of Mordremoth and a bit in the influence of the Dream- Wyld Hunt.

2nd answer- I have a theory that the other dragons get the informations from the magic of another one. It would be even possible that Jormag would send his minions to Tarir.

It was the 1st time that the minions of another dragon went into the territory of another one. So this shows that Primordus treat Maguuma Jungle as his home, as his territory.

This is absolutely interesting- Destroyers in the Maguuma Jungle. So I think it shows that Primordus is like in the unity with Mordremoth. I think they cooperate now.

If this theory would be true, that would mean that the dragons are more powerful after their death.

That would expalain why Tequatl got more strength after Zhaitan’s death. The death spectrum gave the strength to his minions and to other dragons.

If it is true, we can give up.

Xera gathered 4 aspects of Lazarus, right? But there are 5 aspects.

I think, that perhaps Xera gave 4 aspects of 4 the elements and perhaps this is why he used fire to burn the White Mantle’s members in out of the Shadows and Rising Flames, because he is an elementalist.

But perhaps 5th aspect was used to give him his personality, as the Lazarus the Dire from GW1. Perhaps this 5th aspect was replaced by Bloodstone power and the Bloodstone’s power did not changed him into bad one, but he could get a new personality or the fake artifact, who was given to Xera as 5th aspects did not make Lazarus as a bad guy.

So I don’t think so Marjory is in danger, worst if the Commander will come with this aspect, Lazarus will consume it and get the unknown ability, which Caudecus wanted to avoid.

But anyway I think this is the real Lazarus with Marjory.

I stopped to trust Caudecus long long ago, because even in the Personal Story he used people for his goals to kill Jennah.

You can agree with me or not, but I think Lazarus is the real Lazarus.

I am talking about the footsteps of 2nd generation legendaries.

The Legendaries like Astralaria or Nevermore need better footsteps.

Nevermore by the way is one of the most expensive legendary in game and I like the effect on arm, but the little feathers, who disappear so quickly make me sad.

Same in Astralaria, footsteps could be much bigger and last longer like in Eternity, but they do not and it is really painful.

ANet, I wait for better footprints for 2nd generation legendaries 1 year and I am still disappointed, because you do nothing with this.

I saw the topics, who say the same thing like me and a lot of players want rework of the footsteps, but we are waiting and waiting and nothing.

But I think, that they are just showing their strength, I don’t think so elder dragons would make “a team” or something.

There is a lot of questions about their changes, chak organs can clean Zhaitan’s influence, but what about Mordremoth’s.

Now the words of Mordremoth: “I can’t be defeated” “I am the world. I am all.” really scare. What if Mordremoth was just the harbinger of the things who will be even worst than what he has done…

Don’t forget about “Lazarus”, he consumes the magic as well. Pale Tree too. So we are not in the dead end.

But Taimi has completed her experiment and it was successful:

“The experiment was a success! And I’m having the heart of Omadd’s machine delivered to Rata Novus. With it, I should be able to see the Eternal Alchemy and manipulate the dragons’ energies to pit ’em against one another.”

Dragons are consuming the magic now, while they consuming we have enough time to prepare ourselves. Primordus and Jormag are far away from each other.

Hottest spring in Tyria does not mean that this is any of Primordus’s activities. For example Iceland is the cold place, but has a lot of hot springs. Anyway I am sure that this spring was long long ago before any dragon came to Tyria.

I think that LS3 will end with Jormag and Primordus deaths. And I really really hope we will get the DSD expansion.

When we got the info that Legendary Armor is going to be released with the next episode I think we will wait until late April or near the date of the PvP Season 6’s end.

I’m guessing that Zojja will be the victim of this story.

Pretty sure that Primordus will kill Jormag, either Braham will injure or kill Jormag while the two fight and Primordus will be furious being robbed his victory and seek revenge against the Asura for Taimi’s interference.

Zojja will probably be the one who dies. I really don’t want Braham to die, as it would really remove the Norn from the main story line. (Yes he was very unhinged that last story, I think his fight with the dragon will empower him to be a better leader as many Norn will die reaching Jormag) Thackery could die as well since he’s no longer protecting the queen, and as pact commander he would overshadow your group.

I’m almost certain Rytlock will survive and leave or be banished from The Black Citadel to continue as the iconic representation of the Revenant, leaving Rox to pick up the mantle for the Charr.

I am gonna complete your thoughts. Of course you can predict whatever you like, so I just put my opinion here.

Will Zojja be victim of the story? I am not sure she would fight against enemies when she is still recovering, even Logan had to recover really long and he had only physical wounds. So in the Bitter Harvest we could choose- Logan or Zojja and one of them looked better than another.

We saw that Logan had only physical wounds as I said so I think Zojja will have a influence of the dragon in her mind- I really believe that it is Zhaitan’s influence, because the pods were created by Zhaitan’s death spectrum. And do you remember the chak organ (Spencer)? It filters death’s magic, so I think that Zojja’s mind will be cleaned by this or an antidote created from chak organ.

Primordus will not kill Jormag, they will destroy themselves- Jormag will not meet Primordus, Primordus will not meet Jormag, at least this is our plan. I cannot believe Braham would kill Jormag. Anyway the stupid legend of Norns really complicates our situation, but now Norns have their destiny in their hands so they have to choose: stay in Hoelbrak and just watching when their the greatest enemy dies without fight or run against him and try to smash the Dragon and risk lives of every single Norn.

If they would kill him, what about Primordus then? I have two theories:

1) He will rage really powerful after Jormag’s death and he will be unstoppable.
2) The magic from Jormag will destroy Primordus.

So we have two ways then:
kill two dragons without fight or risk and kill Jormag and hope that the magic will destroy Primordus so Norns will be happy and we will be happy.

Braham will not die, I think he will be a leader of Norns after Eir’s legacy.
Anyway I think Rox is going to die. Or because of Braham’s stupidity or during the fight against Jormag.

He is not the Pact Commander, we as the players are the Commander. Logan is the Marshall of the Pact as Trahearne was, but it looks like you’ve missed a dialogue from episode Out of the Shadows:

“The new marshal would be planted safely in an office in Lion’s Arch. Still leading the troops, but out of harm’s way.”

This is why Logan agreed, no harm will come to Logan as the Marshall.

Charr’s situation is interesting, yes Rytlock ignored his mates, but I don’t think so he would have any consequences when he just wanted to kill dragon and stay with the Commander to make the plans against another ones, so Charrs would be really stupid if they would make something bad to Rytlock.

Anyway I think he is going to tell them about his journey in the Mists, he has to. Because this is really important for Charr’s future.
