Server: Crystal Desert
Zone: Metrica Province
Location:Durotl Grounds, Loch Jezt
Problem: The Hylek NPC that gives the skill point is lying dead on the ground with no way to revive him.

I started in this zone with a new character last week and I come back to check today and he’s still dead.

I can list items for sale on the TP but searching for items to buy ends up with 0 results found. Iam on Crystal Desert Server.

Logging out doesn’t fix it.

I can sell things fine on the TP.
But then I did search for consumables and it seemed to be taking ages and then it says no results found. Search for Armor I get the same result.

I then logged out and restarted my comp and that doesn’t fix it.

The TP search doesn’t work for me.

You can’t make legendary weapons if you don’t get 100% map completion.

In Lornars pass directly south of Nentor Valley there is a skill point listed on the map but there is nothing there. I assume it’s a missing NPC as this is my first time to the zone. I looked above ground and below, nothing is there.
This is on the Crystal Desert server.

What causes so many skill points and events to be bugged, frozen or missing??
It’s frustrating that this keeps happening and never seems resolved.

I thought it was broken too, and would get content is disabled, but it works if you wait for him to launch all the cows. I then clicked on the side and it launched me.

But maybe it is broken on other servers? It works on Crystal Desert.

I had the same problem around Morgans spiral in Caledon forest when doing the heart to clear those grub holes. every time I’d kill a risen grub I’d get content has been temporarily disabled pop up in my chat box in bright red text.

I think it’s because they disabled loot dropping from them or something. But it’s horrible having that text pop up every time you kill a grub

There is a slayer achievement for killing innocent creatures such as rabbits, racoons etc.
Called indiscriminate slayer. so why worry about killing them? They are meant to be killed.
If small things were meant to live, they’d have bigger teeth or faster feet.[10,100,500,1000] Kills

I had the same issue with carrots not showing with cooking. It must be a bug as I checked recipes which can be made on a guide and Iam low lvl in cooking with heaps more carrot combo recipes to discover.

Even though I have 178 carrots they are no longer showing in my discovery panel.
I then moved them from collection tab to my bags, it still wouldn’t show.

So I closed the game and restarted my comp and still the carrots don’t show in panel.

There does appear to be a empty slot where the carrots should be.

Yeah the safe boxes and invisible bags are handy though. Good for keeping items in that you don’t want to accidently sell.

I spent ages trying to find these. I found 4 in Diessa Plateau but only from herb seedlings which werent’ far from the Wayfarer Foothills zone entry.

Then I did a google search and found that they are obtained mostly from herb seedlings in Plains of Ashford, after a bit of time I managed to find 6 more from this zone.

same I have error code 42 as well and can’t get in.

I’ve had aggro problems when fighting monsters underwater and their health is going down and they are hitting me as well and all of a sudden invulnerable text appears over the monster and I can no longer hit it and then it’s health resets and it move backs so I move away then it comes chase after me and repeat the scenario a few times.

My character attacked a Son of Svanir ice catapault in Wayfarer foothills in meelee range and when it was destroyed I ended up stuck under it. This also happened with an alt.

So I only ever attack these in range now as being too close to one when destroyed gets you stuck under it.

I find it annoying too that every time I change over pets I have to rename them.
I would like what I name them to stay and not reset.

But what I do is have a word pad doc with my list of pet names. That way I don’t have to spend time trying to think what did I name my wolf? And can just quickly look at my list and reenter the name when I swap pets.

Hi Iam from Perth WA. And wish to join a GMT+8 guild. Or a guild that holds events 7pm my time or later.
Though Iam pretty much a housewife and get to play for around 4 hours on and off during the day. It’s not until after dinner that I play non stop till 12am latest.

Must be an active guild with at least 4 members.

That is friendly, helpful, social, fun and mature 18+ no children. That has dedicated well co-ordinated leaders.

A guild where I feel like I belong, a place I can call home.

No trash talk or putting down others, verbal abuse or drama.

For PVE and dungeons. I don’t like doing PVP or WvW.
My main is Aurorablue currently a lvl 32 Ranger on Crystal Desert US server.

It would be good to join a guild that has events at 7pm or later as I didn’t like that other Aussie based east coast guilds have their events way too early for me. I want to belong and not feel left out as I can’t take part in events because of time difference.

I don’t mind what server it’s on as I will transfer if the guild is right for me.

I don’t think we need duels. But Iam not against it as long as it is not available in PVE areas. As I’d get random idiots harassing me to duel in other MMO’s when all I wanted to do was quest or hunt for mats in peace.

Yes this is needed. There should also be filters for craft item types like jewels, wood etc.

Yes to at least a confirmation window as I have bought the wrong armour and then not have enough karma to get the right armour,

What I was asking where do I find them? I’ve only found clams in brisban wildlands. are there anymore areas that have clams? As it was such a small area.

I find pearls impossible to find. I have lvled 1 character to 30 another to 20 and 3 other alts to 15. But have only found 3 pearls in total.

I found 2 from casually logging but today after spending all day logging all I find are amber and cinnamon, has the cinnamon replaced the pearls?

The other 1 found from a clam farm after harvesting 6 clams.

Anyone know where I can find pearls??

The greatsword is my fave weapon to use with my female human guardian. But I hate using it.
At first I thought the deer she was attacking was making that horrible high pitched weee weee sound. But still the noise happened when fighting other mobs. It’s horrible so much so that I use the scepter instead.

This needs to be changed so that human female attack sound actually sound human and no longer sound like a wounded dying deer.

I have a character of each race, but Sylvari are my fave and main. I found them the most interesting and unique.

I have a noble human alt and would love a royal gown and crown. And some nicer pretty clothes. I have not been interested in buying any of the outfits so far. And have only bought gems for bank expansions and mini’s.
