Fort Aspenwood is currently ranked 9th in Tier 3 and fighting to keep pace with servers that have higher WvW populations. We are looking for guilds/players of every timezone to help make FA more competitive in T3.
About FA:
-Has a very strong core of guilds that are ready and willing to work with anyone who makes an effort to improve WvW on FA. Any new players should have no problem finding a home among these guilds.
-FA experiences no que times (<5 minutes on reset prime time). Our lowest population times occur during west coast, oceanic, and euro timezones.
-An active FA community website keeps people in contact with each other in all aspects of the game, especially WvW.
-Guilds work independently and together through Teamspeak, the website, and in-game messages no matter how big or small the guilds. Now featuring a community Teamspeak server for use by anyone on FA.
-At the end of the day, we all have a great time in WvW.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Some great guilds and people on Fort Aspenwood. Really glad I made FA my home many weeks ago.
In addition to the OP, wanted to add that there is still room at any time of day if a guild wants to check us out. As noted, other then reset day’s <5 minutes que, ques are very very very very rare to find the rest of the week and we could definitely use more peeps working with us.
Also, a server community site was recently released and we have already seen great results from it. WvW guilds are in constant contact with eachother and are always ready to help anyone new to WvW or the community.
Cheers.
I don’t think we’re that zergy. No more than any other server we’ve fought in the past….. I see a lot of people not running with the zerg now. Ever since I left it, I’ve met a lot of others like me that prefer skirmishes.
TC is by far the zergiest server I’ve ever played against. Skill wise the people in the zerg are less skilled then people on other servers, but my god there is always just so many of them.
Don’t take this personal, just an observation.
So you haven’t played W3 much my friend. Don’t take it personal either, just from my experience. Playing against SoR, a few of us that were on TCBL, decided to ninja-cap NE tower after scouting that it had siege but only one defender. As soon as we got there, in 2 mins 7 of us got rolled over by a zerg of SoR that’s over 50 straight from the garrison and that was after, what 200k lead they had over us? So yeah, we aren’t as zergy as you guys make it/think to be.
Its funny cuz what you just described is “just another day” in this match from my experiences against TC. I’ve played T1 through T6 and you guys take the cake (or pie) by far.

People can give their opinions on this if they want and it has to do with this matchup since they transferred to a server in the same tier. Any posts that are out of line i’m sure will be deleted.
With that said, the Hills keep defense today in FABL by FA was epic. Had a great time defending the inner gates and walls from wave after wave of TC.
Any Gods who don’t want to leave the great community that is FA, there are plenty of guilds that are recruiting all you have to do is ask.
My take on this situation is that alot of the negativity directed towards gods (mostly towards a particular leader) was the lack of good strategy and the inability to lead the large numbers they tried to organize in a map. On several occasions team chat lit up with CAPLOCK messages demanding people stack up and not run off. I think all anyone wanted on FA was for gods to shrink to a good core group and let the rest of their members join other guilds or start a few new ones.
Lastly, IMO joining the winning server in the same tier you were in is a big fail, whether you did it to win or not.
Cool. will definitely be a benefit to the server to have an organized group during that time.
Fort Aspenwood is looking for guilds/players across all time zones to compete with the first place server (Tarnished Coast) in tier 3. We have a great base of guilds who will help out with anything they can to make your transition smooth. We have a community website just getting started for better guild to guild communication as well.
TC are notorious for large zergs. With that said, there is nothing Anet can do or should do. Every server does it once in awhile, some more than others, but there is no possible way to stop people from zerging without hurting wvw. Just kinda have to hope they get tired of being a nameless pixel in a mindless zerg and split into smaller, effective groups.
Did you just transfer to FA or are you just a newly formed guild?
edit: and welcome aboard regardless, hope to see your guild in wvw.
@ the massive 50 person TC zerg that waited for 15 mins to get enough people to push titanpaw in TC borderlands against 10 defenders, why? Is there any way to fight anything other than a zerg somewhere?
Are there any smaller guilds out there who roam together who want to fight even numbers? If so, what map are you guys in at night, we’d love to fight in a map which doesn’t just have large clumps of defenders or attackers.
I don’t understand these posts.
They didn’t “wait” for 15 minutes. They came north after they took Bluebriar from your team because you had 10-15 people in the furthest supply camp that no one actually needed. That’s strategy, that’s what the game is about. Sorry if no one wanted to face roll into your ballistas and arrow carts with equal numbers so you can farm badges.
I guess rolling around maps in zergs of 50+ is “strategy” on the TC server. Whatever you gotta do to win I guess. The rest of us will enjoy the good fights and try and avoid the TC zerg “strategy”.
Still hoping to see some new wvw players/guilds looking for a new home to join the FA community. We are holding our own in T3 and could still use people across all timezones who enjoy this aspect of the game as much as the rest of us do. Plenty of established wvw guilds to join and always welcoming new guilds to work with the established ones.
Bump for a good guild. Anyone joining PRO will be with a good group of WvWers.
Good luck on the recruiting.
Keep your heads up guys, I promise. We will improve and put up a bigger fight. If we don’t win, than so what. We are merely T3, FA is a bandwagon server as someone else has mentioned, so they may the next BG (shooting up to T1). We will get there soon
.
Now that TC has caught up I can say this to my fellow FAers:
Keep your heads up guys, I promise. We will improve and put up a bigger fight. If we don’t win, than so what. We are merely T3, TC is a bandwagon server as someone else has mentioned, so they may *be the next BG (shooting up to T1). We will get there soon
.
This is how we compliment servers right?
This is awesome news. FA core guilds are awesome and definitely compete with the best. As soon as the gaps in coverage are filled we will compete at a very competitive level. Good luck with the move and can’t wait to see you guys in battle.
well since server transfers are free i took the liberity of changing to the servers we were fighting and not suprised to see them saying
guy one – dont attack red we have alliance
guy two – ok
guy three – help red at bluelake keep them in there spawn
I think transferring servers in order to spy on your enemies plans is a bigger threat to WvWvW then a few people trying to form an “unofficial alliance”.
Every spawn point has at least 3 ways out and each server is only fighting against 2 other servers. You do the math.
